    I loved it! I think HBO has another winner on it's hands. Nucky Thompson is no Tony Soprano....which is a very good thing. I did not get the vibe that Boardwalk Empire was trying to make a 20's version of The Sopranos. In my opinion, the only big thing that they have in common is the organized crime aspect. The characters are different but still very relate-able. It felt like the first hour was a great introduction into the characters and the final 15-20 minutes really got the plot moving into the rest of the season. I can't wait to see more!

    I'm really liking the 1920's setting. The set design and the costume design are both excellent. The story in the pilot was told really well and acting was great. The casting director did a really good job. The only nitpick I have is that they could of raised the dramatic tension a little more. A few of the more dramatic scenes were played a little to nonchalant. Nonetheless, I will be watching this show every week.
