Lie To Me - Episode 3.01 - In the Red - Oct 4th Premiere Press Release
28 Sept 2010
Cancelled ShowsSEASON THREE OF “LIE TO ME” TO PREMIERE MONDAY, OCTOBER 4, ON FOX
LIE TO ME, the No. 1 broadcast drama of the summer, will now have its third season premiere Monday, Oct. 4 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
In the premiere episode, “In The Red,” LIGHTMAN (Tim Roth) goes to great lengths to prevent a man fueled by revenge (guest star Shawn Doyle, “Big Love”) from robbing a bank. In the process, Lightman sets to right a wrong by holding a guilty man accountable for his actions.
The upcoming season of LIE TO ME sees the relationships and dynamics of The Lightman Group tested as a wedge is driven between Lightman and FOSTER (Kelli Williams), creating devastating consequences. Now that the Group has split from the FBI, Lightman is free to operate on the margins of the law. Meanwhile, with Lightman under pressure from his publisher to finish his book, a group of university students have been enlisted to help him focus on this project he’d rather ignore than complete.
LIE TO ME was the highest-rated broadcast drama of the summer among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key male demos. The series, inspired by a real-life specialist who can read clues embedded in the human face, body and voice to expose the truth and lies in criminal investigations, stars Tim Roth, Kelli Williams, Monica Raymund, Brendan Hines and Hayley McFarland.
[EDITOR’S NOTE 1: The new season of LIE TO ME replaces the previously announced episodes of LONE STAR.]

Glad it's back.
ReplyDeleteWhat? Mondays are full enough as it is and not everyone has a DVR to record what they miss.
ReplyDeleteIndeedy.
ReplyDeleteWell, there goes my hope they'd move Fringe to Mondays.
ReplyDeleteA rift between Lightman and Foster? Isn't that pretty much, like, the complete and total opposite of what people are hoping for?
ReplyDeleteI mean... I loved Lone Star and it sucks that it was cancelled, but... I get to see Lightman earlier...?? I'm in!!
ReplyDeletetoo bad for lone star but i'm happy i get to have Lie to Me sooner:)
ReplyDeleteSeriously? There's no contest between the Monday lineup and the Thursday lineup. Thursdays are absolutely brutal. If it's a choice between Fringe going up against CSI and Grey's Anatomy on Thursday or going head-to-head against The Event and 2 1/2 Men/ Mike & Molly on Monday, the choice is simple.
ReplyDeleteSweet! Though, I can't say I'm thrilled about this 'wedge' driven between Lightman and Foster. Quite the opposite, actually.
