Bones - Emily Deschanel Weds Actor-Writer David Hornsby

Actress Emily Deschanel,33, and writer-actor David Hornsby tied the knot in a quiet evening ceremony in front of family and friends in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles on Saturday, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The bride wore a pair of matching diamond and platinum scroll hair pins and drop earrings by Neil Lane.

Deschanel is currently starring in the sixth season of Bones, while Hornsby is best known for his work on FX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

    It's so awkward. Normally I have no problem separating character from person, but I can't see anything but "Rickety Cricket" when I look at that guy. All I can do is shake my head and smile.

    I don't know how long they have been together but it has been over a year as far as I know. When I found out they were dating was at the Monte Carlo Television Festival last year
