As you are probably aware, BOARDWALK EMPIRE is one of the most anticipated fall releases, and it will begin its 12-episode season on HBO this Sunday, Sept. 19, at 9pm.

From Terence Winter, Emmy Award-winning writer of “The Sopranos” and Academy Award-winning director Martin Scorsese, BOARDWALK EMPIRE is set in Atlantic City at the dawn of Prohibition, when the sale of alcohol became illegal throughout the United States.

    I really want to like this show but I've found all of the clips I've viewed so far to be really dull. I'm still going to check it out but I'm running out of optimism.
