And we hit the third day of round two, having seen two LOST characters reach round 3 to join Fox Mulder and Dean Winchester from the previous day. That means there was wins for Benjamin Linus & Juliet Burke, leaving an all LOST tie in the next round, and eliminating Chuck Bass & Sookie Stackhouse in the process. That also means that both Gossip Girl & True Blood have no characters left in the competition. They have to wait another year to see if they can improve. Also of note, LOST's characters aren't getting the votes to compete with the likes of Supernatural & firefly at this stage in the competition....
Today sees two more LOST characters in two more matches, the first being the main star of the series, Jack Shephard taking on 'Burn Notice's' feisty lead woman in Fiona Glenanne. Also it is love her/hate her Kate Austen taking on my personal favourite 'Friend' and funny guy Chandler Bing. This has the potential for the main romance of LOST to face off in Round three, but also could see one of the other characters throwing a spanner in the works. It's gonna be close....

For the first one i choose Jack and his jack faces because i always loved jack and he made me cry so much during lost and i bawled like a baby at the finale (VINCENT WAAH)
ReplyDeleteFor the second i choose Kate because it's jack and kate and she was a more likable character when she was with him and Lost is better than Friends but Chandler is Hilarious xxx

ReplyDeleteDifficult choice between Chandler and Kate! LOST is my fav show ever so I finally chose Kate though I still adore Chandler and I won't be disappointed if he wins.

I voted for Fiona and Chandler. I haven´t seen Lost, never really caught my interest, but because of this competition I watched the pilot of Burn Notice and I liked it!

Btw: Because of this competition I have two new shows on my watchlist ( not that it would be long enough already)... Burn Notice and Firefly! Hopefully it won´t get more!!!

ReplyDeleteFiona :) The woman is a freaking bomb expert. Like Michael Westen says in the opening credits, she's trigger happy. I'm straight, but who doesn't love a chick that plays with big guns and knows her way around a couple of blocks of C4?

ReplyDeleteFiona without a doubt and Chandler. Fiona is awesome! She is like a typical male action character - explosives whiz and expert marksman with a shoot first attitude - yet wrapped in a girly girl, always looking for a good shoe sale. Besides, you have to love a character that says, "Can't we just shoot him and get on with our lives." She is pure fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteJack and Kate. I love Fiona, and if it was someone else it may have been hard, but Jack is my favorite character in LOST. And I haven't seen more than 3 or 4 episodes of Friends, so I voted for Kate... she's another one of my favorites from LOST.

I voted for Jack and Chandler. I love Chandler and hate Kate. And Jack is great though I must admit I don't know anything about Fiona. Aww, this sort of rhymes... :-P
ReplyDeleteJack. He had a meaningful journey, from man of science to man of faith. At first he was a doctor, but he was cut from the humanity, he just wanted to fix the others and send them away. At the end he really cared about his loved ones, he really loved and was really loved. It was great!
ReplyDeleteAnd Kate. She was amazing as well. She was a criminal, she killed somebody. Yes, she had her reasons, but after all she was a criminal. And her whole journey was her atonement, she had to make up for her sins. And she did by the end of season 3. But then she came across a baby, a baby whose mother was lost. Kate could have given that child to his grandmother, she could have said the truth... but she did not. She did a crime once again - she stole the child. And later she realized it again. So she had new sin to atone. And she went to a crazy journey to find the child's mother again. And she did. And in the end, in a perfect world, created by her and her loved ones, she was innocent. She was't a criminal anymore. She deserves my vote.

ReplyDeleteI voted the same way. I really liked the Kate character but, in the quest to be objective, I have to remind myself not to vote for a character just because they're incredibly attractive.

ReplyDeleteAwesome! Welcome to Burn Notice! It is currently my second favorite show after Supernatural. I'm so glad that both of my little shows are getting new viewers because of this contest. I've watched Vampire Diaries and Firefly because of this contest myself. Unfortunately, I have a lot more on the list. I start with Freaks and Geeks tomorrow.
