    damon and bonnie do have interesting scenes together but i'm not sure about them becoming shippy

    In the books, they don't really have the 'connection' they said in the interview. They kissed once and that had no relevance to the storyline. Anyway, the show is based around the love triangle/square of Damon, Elena, Katherine and Stefan, with Bonnie being a side character with the likes of Meredith and Matt.

    Damon and Bonnie would not work. He is too hung up on Elena and Katherine. The year of the werewolf? Not sure if I like them being added to the mix.
