ABC Studios has closed a deal for the rights to Spooks, known in the U.S. as MI-5, with Kudos Rights LTD, a division of the Shine Group-owned British production company Kudos Film and Television which produces the BAFTA-winning original series. Michael Seitzman has been tapped to write the adaptation, which has received a script order from ABC.

Awesome! I'm preying that they'll be able to get Richard Armitage!!! I need to see his face more often! :D
ReplyDeletethey could..but it would cost them more as they wouldnt own the actual rights to it. This way, they own all the rights & can air it when & how they want & of course, revise it in ways they care to.
ReplyDeleteCan't they just air the original ?
