  1. lol it wasnt gonna be a sex thing.. If emily was paid 200 000 adn david wasnt on the list people would have had the same reaction,. they have same time screen, though not true emily a little more.
but yeah it might be cause of angel thing. ahaha who cares, if she makes 3000 per ep that is still way more then the average poeple. jeez who said tv wasnt well paid. men actors... tsk tsk tsk

  2. Wow, Ian 40 000. I dont understand how a new show from CW can offored this. I mean Now they can cause the show was a really big success but they took a chance with that one. no wonder we dont get advertisment for anything eelse

  3. makes sense. I love hugh he is awesome but no talent makes sense at 400 000+ per episode omg
LOL this should be what he makes a year. I'm not sure i take those info as truth. I heard to many talk about not getting paid that much on a tv show. i mean he makes 9millions per year damn it. lol sorry i hate this haha its not on you budy :D

    gosh

  4. Unbelievable that Charlie Sheen is paid $1.25m per episode. That's just embarrassing.

    ReplyDelete
  5. It's probably a matter of acting experience. Bones was one of the first big roles of Emily, while David has been a TV star for years. Maybe she'll get a rise as time goes by.
By the way, how is it possible that Miranda Cosgrove makes over three times what Jane Lynch earns?

    ReplyDelete
  6. uhhhh, no. if she made 3000 an episode that would put her at about 70K a year. thats not very much at all and actually falls in a low income bracket

    ReplyDelete
  7. Wow, that shows how ignorant I was about the ways of Hollywood. $1.25 mil an episode for Charlie Sheen and Two and Half Men? Jesus.

    ReplyDelete
  8. It says David makes 200,000. Love to know what Emily makes compared to that.

  9. Leonerd and Penny make more than Sheldon on the Big Bang Theory ??!! This can't be right?

    ReplyDelete
  10. And not one person from LOST.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Why does David Boreanaz get paid $400,000 per episode? As much as I like him that's just not right.

He should, at least, earn the same money than Hayley and johhny. Sheldon is the heart of the show. Jim deserve a raise.

  13. Are all three of you women? Lets not get into a whole sexist the man gets paid more than the woman thing. They're both the main characters, but Brennan is THE main character. The show is called "Bones" not "Bones & Booth". If Emily doesn't make more I'm sure she either makes the same amount or close to the same amount.

Lets not forget that David has a pretty successful resume under his belt. I never even heard of Emily before this show started. Men do usually get paid more then women in tv shows, but at the same time I've never heard of Emily complaining about her salary, so it's probably pretty good.

  14. It's Hollywood ! pretty face = a lot of viewers = a looot of money

    ReplyDelete
  15. I hope Shailene Woodley hasn't been getting that much for the five minutes that she's been doing for the past month on SLOAAT

    ReplyDelete
  16. If Kiefer Sutherland isn't on the list, it's a safe bet to assume it was taken recently, once Lost and 24 had finished.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yep, I think you're right. Looks like the Salaries for the new season

    ReplyDelete
  18. WTF?? Emily Deschanel isn't even on the freakin' list when David makes 200k?
and same for Miranda Cosgrove, she makes $180.000 and her co-stars (Jennette and Nathan) make atleast LESS than $15.000? I'm sure as hell surprised!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hugh Laurie (House) $400,000+ makes sense...
Mark Harmon (NCIS) $375,000 also makes sense...

Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice) $200,000...surprising, but good for him!

Matt Bomer (White Collar) $100,000 and Mark Feuerstein (Royal Pains) $125,000 eh what? I like them on their shows and all but 100k+? REALLY?

Zachary Levi (Chuck) $60,000 and Jon Hamm (Mad Men) $100,000 both should be getting paid more... a LOT more.

    ReplyDelete
  20. and why does he get that much and emily isn't even on this list?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Jim Parsons needs to be paid a lot more.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Jeffery Donovan does a lot of producing for Burn Notice so I'm sure that's part of why he's paid so much. I am surprised that USA can afford to pay all 3 of them so well even if they keep telling us they are the #1 basic cable channel. Maybe that's why we can't get 22 episodes a season.

Actually, it is the CW, Nick, and Disney salaries that surprised me the most.

    ReplyDelete
  23. OMG Miranda Cosgrove gets 180,000 per episode of iCarly?
    That's intense.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm just wondering y there telling us eveyone's info?? What's the sense of it?? I'm surprised at some of the celebs numbers, some are lower than i thought they'd be. But still, y is there a list?? Their all rich regardless, we get it, we don't need to see their paychecks.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Also, what about the other people that aren't on here?? R their checks too high to be on the list or too low??

    ReplyDelete
  26. I think those are just samles, so to speak. I think Emily Deschanel gets the same as David Boreanaz, but she's just not in the list.

    ReplyDelete
  27. This seems to show only the top one or two stars from each show. For example, only Patrick Dempsey is listed from Grey's. What about Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, etc?

And given all the cost cutting at CBS I'd love to see the full salary list for all its shows' casts, especially ones who went through a lot of negotiations like George Eads from CSI.

    ReplyDelete
  28. That doesn't mean that she makes less than david boreanaz, maybe there's just no informations on google ...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Thats exactly what i was thinking, especially cause Sheldon's the most popular and he gets all the awards i expected him to get paid a lot more .....

And somehow i don;t see Neil Patrick Harris on that list :/ WEIRD

    ReplyDelete
  30. Since when did Ashley Tisdale ever deserve $30,000 for doing anything?

And Zachary Levi is very under paid compared to the rest of them!! But in the end, they're all over paid ;) But still, Blair Underwood seems like he is getting screwed over a little :P

    ReplyDelete
  31. 1 season has 24 episodes which makes 30 million dollars. 7 seasons, 162 episodes makes 202,5 million dollars. Fcking impressive.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yeah I think Lost isnt included, either is 24 because Kiefer Sutherland was the highest

    ReplyDelete
  33. I find a lot of what I see here disgusting. Someone as repulsive as Charlie Sheen makes more in one episode of a 20 minute sitcom, while people on 42 minute dramas, or longer for cable shows, earn next to nothing (in comparison mind you). Jon Hamm essentially gets the same amount of money for a season of phenomenal acting as Charlie Sheen on one episode. Ian Somerhalder gets less than even John Cryer gets for one episode. I officially loathe Hollywood lol.

On the up side, I really hope that some people were purposely left of the list. I would hate to think that the rest of the Grey's cats or the Bones cast (and many more) earn nothing compared to their co-workers. Also, Jim Parsons less than Johnny and Kaley!?

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'd be more interested in information about what guest stars earn. Those who participate only in one episode, for example as a suspect in a case, with 5-7 minutes screen time... or the recurring cast (like Joe Spano/Agent Fornell in NCIS).

Though I have to admit I'm surprised that LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell (2nd season) already get as much money as Michael Weatherly (8th season). Hmm!

    ReplyDelete
  35. basically none of the female leads from any of my shows...
and how is it that chuck is on it's 4th season and zachary levi is only getting $60,00!!! my god! thats embarassing compared to some of those up there!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Not with residuals. She gets paid a hefty percentage every time Bones is shown on TNT or in another country. Since it shows on TNT at least 10 times a week, the CW at least 2 times per week, and on Fox once a week until new episodes, that's a lot of money each week - not counting HD channels, other countries, computer broadcasting, DVD sales, and any other reruns I missed. I don't think she's hurting. My guess is that some of the people not on the list are actually making more than those that are on it. It all depends on who got the sweeter back end deal.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Miranda Cosgrove is the lead actress on a show that has been the most successful kids show for years. Jane Lynch is just one of many stars on a new show. Granted she's the best character in the whole show, but they still have to split the acting budget among a lot more people.

    ReplyDelete
  38. HappyCandidates1089 October 2010 at 14:34

First of all... I don't like that this list are being shown to the public because honestly it makes us feel like crap.... I'm not hating but it does kinda suck!
theonly people i think really deserve it are The lost cast and crew, the sopranos, mad men, and all the rest of those genious shows.... but snooki making more than for example the lead of glee is horrible..... reality people should not be making that much... Charlie Sheen does not either I think the cast of friends deserved it more... an actor like Jon Hamm should be making more... this list is bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Jim Parsons gets paid less I think because his initial contract that he signed has not ended yet, and at the time, I can see how Kaley would get paid more, since she is a bigger name brand than Jim. I don't know why Johnny gets paid more though...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Why does anyone get paid anywhere near that much for anything? It makes me sick, the disparity between the wealthiest and the poorest in this country (and many other countries).

    ReplyDelete
  41. It's crazy that someone who can't act for shit like adam grenier earns the same amount as for instance, david duchovny who is amazing in californication.

    ReplyDelete
  42. So school's about to start again. I've signed my new contract for the year. It's nice to know that I make as much in 30 years as Charlie Sheen does for 1 half hour episode. Thanks SpoilerTV! I'm nice and depressed for the new year now.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think Lost might not be included as it finished. I'm not 100% sure
when Yahoo took the numbers from.
