    well besides 9 which of course was my favorite, my second would be season.......5 awsome job cast! and James Marsters who is returning for the 200th episode!!!!

    Really? Starting your post with "lol" and then jump to the conclusion that anyone who voted for season 9 didn't watch Smallville from the First season. Maybe, just maybe people REALLY did enjoy season 9 the most, even though they have seen all the past seasons. I know I did. Season 9 had almost everything I wanted from Smallville. Clark finally becoming a man. Lois becoming the top notch reporter we all know from the comics. The Lois and Clark romance. Less of Chloe, no Lana and all the guest appearances from the DC universe. Clark not flying was the only thing missing and that will be corrected in Season 10.

    Yeah, Season 9 has been the most enjoyable season to date for this from the start (season 1) viewer.

    Just because the poll results aren't to your liking don't make them wrong or skewed in some way.

    Besides it's only like 450 votes.

    S9 really was a lot better than seasons 6-8 and even some of the earlier seasons (1-2). Absolute Justice was actually good, and the episode that Allison Mack directed was just so...perfect (like the writing, and the innocence, the emotions) it sort've built up well. (Clark falling from the building kinda made me cringe though :/ )

    I didn't say that. Look at how many people voted for season 9. It was a pretty great season, but THAT many people voting for the newest season? It says alot about new converts. (or maybe about how long ago those seasons were--I can almost not remember them!) Your cynical comments aren't appreciated here. I don't even consider myself a gigantic fan of this show, it's just something I caught at the beginning, but I thought it was interesting the newest is always the "best"...Excuse me, and let me go "get over myself"...

    9 so far is my favorite...reason? Because it has everything and getting so close to the real superman mythos but I have to say every episode was just amazing!!! So 9 hands down.

    lol show's how many people have actually watched this show since the 1st season.
    Seeing Chloe go into that house, Lex get poisoned, Lionel's hair metaphorically and literally cut off, Martha finding that gigantic sigil of fire, and then the house blowing up around Chloe made it into one of my favorite finales ever, and it was when the storyline seemed like it could go anywhere even though it was to end with Clark as Supernan, it was just so good. Season 3 ftw.

    I love season 9, but I"m on season 2 for my RE-WATCH. So I guess my vote wouldn't exactly be a fair & thought out one.. but oh well..

    Season 9 was too epic not to vote for it right away. Easily one of the best seasons *ANY* show could have asked for.

    I'm still on season 5 episode 15 right now :) but i'd say so far season 1 is the worst, season 4 is the best

    Aren't to my liking? You're really making this a bigger issue than it actually is. It's a poll on a website about a tv show, ok? It's not that big of a deal. I was just commenting on the gigantic jump in season 9.
