NCIS: Los Angeles - Casting News - Alicia Coppola to Guest

Looks like Skeet Ulrich won't be the only former Jericho star fighting crime in Los Angeles this season: Alicia Coppola has signed on to guest-star on a Season 2 episode of NCIS: Los Angeles, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Coppola will play FBI agent Amy Rand, an expert on kidnapping cases. Described as athletic, determined and authoritative, she works with the NCIS agents to find a victim to prevent a killing spree.

Besides her role as IRS agent Mimi Clark on Jericho, Coppola, 42, has appeared on such shows as CSI, Two and a Half Men and American Dreams. Coppola's character could recur. Her first appearance is slated to air in October.

NCIS: Los Angeles returns with back-to-back episodes Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 9/8c on CBS.

    Aww, when I saw her name I thought she would be returning as Faith Coleman. I loved her character. But this is fine, I'm just glad she's back on my screen!

    Yeah, she played a JAG lawyer in a few episodes back in the first two seasons when Kate was still alive.

    Lt. Cmdr. Faith Coleman

    Would've preferred to see her in this role again, or any of the JAG regulars (Colonel Mackenzie would be appropriate, given her position at JAG: San Diego). Oh well, still nice to see some known faces :)

    I'm sooooo happy about this news. Alicia is my favourite actress and I loved her in Jericho and of course NCIS. Sure, I would have preferred her to return as Faith Coleman, but right now, I don't care. I'm soooo thrilled!!
    I hope that her role will become a recurring character!
