Catherine Willows won’t be leaving Las Vegas anytime soon.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Marg Helgenberger has inked a new contract with CSI.

With Helgenberger’s deal done, the spotlight shifts to fellow CSI vets George Eads (Nick), Eric Szmanda (Greg), and Paul Guilfoyle (Jim), all of whom are negotiating new deals ahead of the show’s 11th season. Jorja Fox is also in talks to return in some capacity.

Liz Vassey, meanwhile, will not be back.

Yay for Marg staying, boo to Jorja Fox returning. I HATE her so very much. She's the main reason I didn't watch the last season.

I hope George and Paul are part of the "new creative direction" that was quoted as being the reason Liz Vassey was dropped. I'm meh about Eric. Don't care for him as a CSI.

Boy I don't see how ?CSI could possibly recover from additional loss of cast. As long as Lawrence Fishburn is there the show is going to need all the older cast to cover for his characters short comings. Ray is just plain boring.
