    2005 was a continuation of the old series (and that one movie with paul mcgann). There was NO reboot.

    The BBC refer to the 2005 series as a reboot themselves.

    This whole series has been the best yet - I liked pretty much every episode. Hope they can keep this going with the Christmas Special and next year's episodes.

    In some ways I wish there were more than 13 episodes - but, then, I worry that to do so would risk the writers running out of ideas.
