Casting news (foilers or otherwise) continued to leak out this past week. Michael Ausiello gave up a spoiler allegedly about the episode directed by Jensen Ackles: “I hear the show’s fourth episode back – the one directed by Jensen Ackles – will be Bobby-centric and feature a character named Marcy Ward. Described as attractive in a down-to-earth/woman-next-door way, Marcy is a capable homemaker with a crush on her neighbor.” A fly in the ointment is that Ackles has already confirmed that he’s directing episode 5.03 not 5.04. SpoilerTV is reporting that the title of this episode is “Weekend at Bobby’s”.
Brit genre magazine SFX, in its latest issue (#198), is reporting a mini-interview with Eric Kripke, Sera Gamble and the other writers, in which they claim that Crowley will be in a lot of season six (perhaps as the season’s Big Bad?). There’s also talk of bringing back Death the Horseman, the Trickster, and Ellen and Jo (as ghosts). Chuck, however, will apparently not show up, nor will there be any explanation of his mysterious vanishing act at the end of “Swan Song”. Just as well. I’m feeling tortured enough by that “summer” promo with the Chuck voiceover on the CW site.

From what I just read, it looks like Supernatural can't do anything original...I'll still watch it, but only to see how it ends...
ReplyDelete^^' How can you judge Season 6 only with the interview of possible returns? Every year the shows is making guest return...and it's SURE you'll see a lot of news things....but they can't say all or it'll will be boring if we know all the spoilers in advance
ReplyDeleteAlso, it was kind of clear that Death will come back since he still want to rules everything and Ellen-Jo were suppose to come back since they died cause Sam and Alona talk with the producters about coming back when they filmed Abandon All Hope AND, we need to know why they're not in heaven.
How can I judge Season 6 by that interview? Very easily....By always bringing back characters who die makes things repetitive and not original. By having Crowely as the bad guy is nothing new because he isn't new and while he may never have been a main bad guy, he is still a bad guy but he's too low on the ladder to be a main bad guy judging by every main bad guy we have seen.
ReplyDeleteSupernatural is still a show that I am going to watch. But ever since Season 3, maybe 4. it's become too repetitive....
You have no idea how they'll come back^^' ''Jess'' was coming back and it was only Lucifer doing her......in the 4x02, there was a lot of old characters and it wasn't so bad...in the episode in heaven, mary came back and it was a memory...in the 4x21, she was back too,but it was an hallucination
ReplyDeleteStop screaming before knowing anything
I'm entitled to my opinion, as are you..
ReplyDeleteBut my opinion is based on facts and yours is based on a little comment of something that may happen in a way that we have no idea
ReplyDeleteDude, it's just a TV show. Don't get your panties in a bunch over it...
ReplyDeleteWell so is everyone else. Supernatural is very original and a great show they bring back characters because those characters are interesting and original characters DUH!
ReplyDeleteI love the new summer promo its great that the boys choose family over everything else
ReplyDeleteYou're the one who can't take other people opinions^^' While i'm saying facts and arguments, you have no arguments to say in return.
ReplyDeleteI think that it's great that the Trickster might be back. He makes the episodes fun. Too bad about Chuck, I still think they were implying that Chuck was God.
ReplyDeleteI don't like characters coming back as ghosts. Sometimes I think the writers feel that it's really OK to kill off a character that's well liked because fans will be satisfied to see them again as ghosts. It doesn't satisfy me. If they're going to kill a character, then do it, and then leave them dead. And, I'm not surprised Chuck isn't coming back. He's Kripke, ala M. Knight S. style, in my opinion. He wrote himself into the show; now that he's given the show away, he's right to take his alter ego Chuck with him.
ReplyDeleteBuuu for you
ReplyDeleteNot necessarily. It depends what the characters do. Having angry ghosts (Meg, Victor, Ronald) return to attack Bobby, Dean, Sam while ghosts of people other hunters couldn't save were killed made things very interesting. It always depends on the storyline. Love, Robin
ReplyDeleteI like Jo, Ellen, and Crowley, and the prospect of seeing them return makes me happy. Even though I wasn't a fan of Ash, his return was handled with humor and intelligence, just as Pam's was (and I was thrilled to see her back). Even though bringing back characters who have appeared on the show before isn't original, bringing back characters the audience loves is something I happen to appreciate. When they brought back Ash, whose re-appearance I was skeptical about, they surprised me by making it unusual; I was delighted to see him back.
ReplyDeleteWe are all entitled to our opinions, of course, but I must say, when it comes to SUPERNATURAL, they have a habit of making the "usual" a big surprise, and often a pleasant one. Love, Robin
Hmm from what I read, sounds like it'll be an interesting season. I'd love to learn more about Bobby, he's such an interesting character who we know little about. I love how unique SPN is, sure they do stuff that other shows have done, but they do it in a unique way. And besides these are just spoilers, doesn't mean they'll come true. "Swan Song" was an amazing episode with thrills and chills, and season 6 will be filled with more. The thought of the ghosts of Ellen and Jo are sad for me, I cried so hard when they died. And I need more Chuck, the thought of him as God is funny but it makes perfect sense.
