If you could spend a day with any character from any TV show, who would you choose, and what would you do?

The characters on our favorite TV shows are a little bit like family.  We know a lot about them, and see them on a regular basis.  Sometimes they make us laugh, sometimes they make us cry, and other times we get so angry we want to throw something at them.  Certain characters are a part of our lives for so long, we grow up with them, and probably know just as much of their history as we do our own friends.

This brings me to today's question:

If you could spend a day with any character from any TV show, who would you choose, and what would you do?


I would spend the day with the Winchester brothers from Supernatural, cruising in the Impala and hopefully getting a glimpse of some badass demon hunting.

    The Winchester brothers are definitely a great choice. For me it'd be a toss up between them, Olivia Dunham, Chuck...from Chuck, or Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes! All of those have great attributes and would provide amazing days, can we have a top 5 instead of picking just 1?

    Got to agree about the winchesters but for me it has to Jack Bauer!! Kickin ass and takin names!!!
    I would probably get killed though! Still would be awesome!!


    Oh i just realised what about Shawn Spencer from Psych, that would be a fun afternoon!! :D!

    It would probably choose Walter Bishop from Fringe. A day of surgeries, illicit drug-making, and wall-to-wall craziness would be just what the doctor ordered.

    Way too tough but I'll go with Henry Fitzroy from Blood Ties. Discuss history from someone whos lived it and enjoy the finer things for an evening. Romantic and educational.

    There are so many good choices, I just had to add a few more...

    - Pal around with John Crichton and the Farscape crew
    - Poke around the warehouse with Claudia on Warehouse 13
    - Hang out with Jessica while she inevitably does something crazy and/or stupid on True Blood
    - I'd like to solve a crime with Shawn and Gus on Psych

    I'm sure I could go on and on...

    I would marry Marshall Erikson if I could but he and Lilly are too perfect to break up. Instead I'll go for a younger Jason Segel and spend the day with Nick Andopolis from Freaks and Geeks. He can be his amazingly creepy self and compose a song for me (something to rival Lady L).

    Then again hanging out with Anya and Andrew from Buffy could be pretty great. Wheelchair fight?

    The Doctor from Dr. Who, 10 or 11 - I can't decide. And we would travel through time and space, of course! Now the question is, if, after months of traveling, we return on the same day I left - does that count as one day?

    Julia Hatmaker, I thought exactly the same thing. Really, out of all the options, the Doctor seems the best. "All of time and space, anything that ever happened or ever will. Where do you want to start?" One day could last a life time, and with all that running I would lose a few pounds. . . ;-)

    I would spend an entire day with Walter from Fringe. I would just stay in the lab and listen to Walter talk. It would be a challenge to keep a straight face and understand what he is talking about.

    I'd love to spend a day with Rachel Maddow,I really admire her and how she conducts her show,she's intelligent well spoken and funny too and has the best research team behind her show love to see how they do it all in one day and just hang out with her and probably what wil be a very busy day!

    Why on earth (and I use the word earth loosely) would I want to spend the day with any other tv-show character when I can spend it with the Doctor (doesn't matter which one) from Doctor Who! You would be able to go any where, any time, any place and it would be guaranteed to be amazing!

    Sam Winchester, definitely. And if Dean and Sam are a package deal - great! I'd love to talk to them about how they grew up, and about the cases we haven't seen on the show (prior to the show?). And, of course, I'd most likely be hitting on Sam so much, Dean would have to throw me in the back of the Impala. That wouldn't be so bad, actually... ;D

    Mine too and I so miss him. Theres rumors their trying to sell a new series based on Tanya Huff called smoke&Mirrors and supposedly Henry would be the focus. If it's true I really hope they cast Kyle again.

    and in the back....
    Trickster/Gabriel(SPN)- providing sarcasm and many tasty chocolatey treats
    Crowley(SPN)-for that brilliant english humour
    Will Schuester (Glee)-pretty and he can sing to me

    I would spend it with Haley James Scott from One Tree Hill (well it should be Nathan Scott but I don't want to him to cheat on Haley) we would probably hanging out with Jamie, listening to her sing (get some backstage passes) and watching Nathan play basketball
