Thanks to Silvia from serien-zone.de for the heads up.
Rest assured, "Supernatural" fans. The CW and Warner Bros have officially confirmed to Zap2it that fan-favorite actors Misha Collins (Castiel) and Jim Beaver (Bobby Singer) are expected to join Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles on episodes of "Supernatural" next season.
In the Season 5 finale, the both characters were killed -- Castiel exploded like an over-filled water balloon, and Lucifer snapped Bobby's neck. Of course, since this is "Supernatural," they were resurrected minutes later. Castiel headed back to heaven to "be the new sheriff in town," and when Dean and Bobby said goodbye, it was made clear that it was "the last [they] would see of each other for a very long time."
When Season 6 begins, Dean has retired from hunting and, after making a promise to uphold Sam's dying wish, sworn never to go back to that life. Sam, who has somehow escaped from Lucifer's cage, will have to convince him to get back on the road to deal with the aftermath of the battle between Heaven and Hell.
Luckily, they'll have their father figure Bobby on their side, and Castiel's newly-regained angel powers should come in handy as well.

ReplyDeleteI was hoping to see more of smexy Cas in season 6 :D
ReplyDeleteaww not Misha i guess i'll never see that S1-3 greatness again
ReplyDeleteHey you never know he could be just a small character - like bobby was in the second season?
ReplyDeleteYeah I am so glad the whole Team will be together again! Bobby and Castiel are awesome love them both, they make great additions to Team Winchester now if we can just get some kick ass chicks on the team it be golden!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about? The show became 400% more awesome with his addition to the cast.
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope they don't use Castiel as a cure all just cause he has powers now! But it's awesome to know that they'll be back =P
ReplyDeleteWhat battle between Heaven and Hell? There was a battle? It was NOT the one promised as Lucifer and Michael falling into a hole in the ground and Castiel exploding and Bobby getting his neck snapped doe snot constitute a Battle ROYAL between Heaven and Hell...Where was the battle between angels and demons and the all out firely Apoclypse Kripke had promised us fams would see? Personally, the end was not what it was cracked up tp be. HOPE season 6 is better with sceens of Heaven and Castiel ruling in God's stead..and Sam and Dean out of the comedy circute as fillers or time passers. If that was not used for season 5 ending, there woild have been a battle to be proud of. Hm....
ReplyDeleteI'm scared that we wont see enough of misha this year :( My favorite episode EVER was the end and misha was a big part of that. and then in my top 5 there is the one with Jimmy. gosh i love castiel. But yeah even though i want him to stick around i really want the writers to make him fit into the story.
