    There most definitely wont be a MerDer baby. When Grey's starts back wont she be like 6 months pregnant? If there was going to be a MerDer baby it would have been anounced in the season 5 finale! Although I would totally love to see it happen (sigh)

    i've been thinking a few things since the season finale. with t.r. having been let out of his contract they won't be able to do a funeral. with ellen being pregnant, at the season 6 premiere they could jump a few months. this would allow them to have the characters move forward from george jumping in front of the bus and dieing, izzie recovering from cancer, and mer and der being pregnant.

    I agree..  its also a bit too early for them too..
    I think they will just work normally like how they worked with Chyler
    I dont think there is going to be a time jump

    yes i totaly agree with GREYS11
    and i also hope that there wont be such a high timejump!!! i think that this would be really stupid, so we would lose much time of MerDer beeing together .... and they are still not really married by the way
