    It means that they both have signed contracts. BUT Shonda is claiming that it has always been her plan for one to die. Just because they've signed on doesn't mean Shonda wants to keep them.

    That means they are both staying!!! And when did Shonda say that she wanted one of them to die? She never said that, she said that she cried when she saw how sick she made Izzie and she said that she loves her characters too much and all that!!! I am feeling optimistic that they will both be OK, just please give Georgie a storyline if you let him live!!!!

    I think, all those rumors are just made up to keep it exciting.
    Not that GA didn't win its mojo back, but I mean everyone loved the finale.
    So my guess is that both will stay, because it was always planned like this.

    I would staple the actors to it, too, but that seems cruel and inhumane considering they're real and stuff. ;)

    I'm trying to be poised for anything---I'm just not confident that both will return because my inner fangirl's luck doesn't tend to go that well---but at this point, I don't know if I can handle 'the sad' if they both don't take that elevator ride back down to life.

    I odn't think Shonda would be that stupid to kill off one of the original inturns, one of the group. Writing them off is one thing (horrible mistake), killing them off is just a failure. I hope both of the actors will be there again next season.
