So, apparently Booth and Bones may not hook up in this year's season finale after all. Whaa--? Why? Ask President Obama. I just found out our fearless leader is kind of a c-ck block.

Because of Obama's press conference next Tuesday, a few prime time scheduling tweaks must be made, and the "Bones" finale could end up being a casualty. Though FOX has not yet made a definite decision, word is, the romantic crime drama will lose an hour to "American Idol" since "Idol" obviously can't just cut an episode (I mean, as far as I'm concerned, they could actually reduce every single ridiculous results show to eight solid minutes... but you know what I'm saying).

This plan, which FOX is dead seriously considering right now, would push the much talked about "Bones" finale -- the episode in which we've been promised some no nonsense B&B bedroom action -- back to the start of next season.

So, thoughts? If this is something you hard core "Bones" fans can't possibly accept, you better start commenting, because FOX is apparently going to make a final ruling on this any time now...

    We've been waiting for that scene for 4 years!!!!
    Besides it won't be the same if it happens at the beginning of season 5. ... The whole point was to happen this year and during summer we would be dying to find out what happens next...
    How is this summer going to pass if we will be dying to find out how the most anticipating make-up happens???

    This has to be a joke right? You have got to be kidding me! This is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!! STOP MESSING US ABOUT FOX! AMERICAN IDOL IS BULL! STOP SHIFTING BONES AROUND TO ACCOMODATE THAT RUBBISH AND GIVE US THE EPISODE WE SO RIGHTLY DESERVE, SEEING AS YOU NOT ONLY MOVED BONES TO THURSDAY'S BUT THEN PRE-EMPTED IT A RIDICULOUS NUMBER OF TIMES AND THEN PROMISED US 11 EPS IN A ROW, ONLY TO VERY QUICKLY BREAK THAT PROMISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    WHAT?!? That's probably the worst idea I've ever heard. What happened to Fox saying that Bones was doing really well and could hold its own on Thursdays now? If they really think that, then they would know better than to push the SEASON FINALE back THREE MONTHS!!! Plus, why can't they just show it a week later? I mean, they don't ever start summer shows until June anyways, that's like 3 extra weeks built into June. Don't they anticipate things like this coming up?

    They promised us a B&B bedroom finally, so WANT a B&B bedroom finally!
    Just cancel Idol for one week? Or just do another week of Bones after the planned finally!
    This is REDICULOUS! We want the B&B bedroom scene in the finally of THIS season, NOT in the next season.
    Hart Hanson promised us last summer, I've been waiting for it for so long, they can't cancel it now!

    "Whaa-?" indeed! I can't believe FOX would even consider doing that to us! I've been on the I-Hate-American-Idol ship for a long time (ever since they pre-empted House once years ago - I can hold a grudge), but this just shoves me right over the edge. It's completely unfair! We've waited so long for this, and we're not going to wait for the NEXT SEASON! That's just outrageous. Who cares about American Idol? If those people can sing, they can sing later. LET US HAVE OUR BOOTH/BONES SEX!!

    Why don't they just cancel a different episode rather than the season finale. Fox has done it before when the Virgina Tech shooting happened. What damage can it do? Bones already has 26 episodes for season 4 alone. I'm sure it will be ok to cancel the least important episode.

    WTF?! It's been four years that Bones fans have waited for this and they can't cut American Idol back? I agree with the above poster, the whole point of the B/B bedroom finale scene was to keep us guessing for next season, wtf will keep us wanting to come back now!

    I am with the above speakers. I can't believe that Fox, who constantly takes advantage of Bones fans by constantly rescheduling this show, would abuse its viewership, so that their precious silly singing show can get its full exposure. Why not just extend the Bones season by an extra week. I mean one week or even as someone else suggested a two hour event for Bones. They would never do this to 24, or House.

    Before everyone gets too upset over this you may want to look at the source. I've stopped reading the zap2it articles by Korbi for awhile now because it's been painfully obvious that she does not confirm or verify any of her "rock-solid hot scoops". This is the third one I've seen in as many weeks with no basis. Stick to Kristen or Ausiello over at E! for the accurate scoops. I'll believe it when I hear it from one of them, until then, it's a stupid rumor.

    This is getting way to out of control.
    They keep putting off showing new Bones episodes and if they do this I'm going to be very annoyed. The President needs to stop having these little things every week. Or Fox could just be less stupid. I mean it's like they don't even like Bones. If this plan happens I am going to consider to stop watcing Fox all together. And I'll only buy the season on DVD when they come out therefore giving the awful Fox no support. Hopefully they'll realize this is a stupid idea since I have been looking forward for this all season. OR maybe this is a rumor. Hopefully it is.

    If this actually happens I will be soo mad it's ridiculous! Bones has been postponed like 5 times this whole season. They have basically been giving us 1 episode every month and now they are thinking of cutting the season finale?!?! Are they crazy?!!? I hope this is a rumor and I think it might be because Ausiello just posted some new spoiler and it talks about the season finale which he says airs on May 14 and the episode before that airing on May 7.

    I want to shoot the person responsible for this. Once in the foot, through each knee, and then in the chest, right through the lung. That way he'll most likely have to at least have a chest tube while he/suffers from the other horrible pain!!!! I'm majorly pissed at all of this!

    This is absolutely ridiculous. They're talking about screwing over a very loyal fanbase for at least the fourth time this season alone, and for what? We have followed Bones through weeks long hiatuses that other shows haven't gone through, a number of pre-empted (rather than rescheduled) episodes, and an appalling number of timeslot/week night changes in a single season. Just a few weeks ago we made Bones the most-viewed scripted Thursday night series in it's timeslot on Fox in over a decade. Because of us, it's ratings are consistently rising. Yet we get overlooked and pushed back again and again. And now to completely forego the season finale - the culmination of an entire season - simply because it's the easier option? It shows a serious lack of appreciation for fans who have been nothing but supportive of this show. It's unacceptable.

    Grrr.....

    I mean, i live in Australia, so I won't get it for a while. But an episode like that is worth watching any way you can, even if it does mean I have to watch it on my crappy computer screen.



    All i can say is four years. That's how long i've been waiting for this. I may only have to wait a few extra months, but that is a few months too long.

    No - No way! This has to be a load of crap.
    If it were true, Michael Ausiello would cover it - there is no way this is true... Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan have lived for this moment.... Us fans have waited four years! No way it's true. They could just air the next week - I don't see the issue.

    Fox is saying now it will air a new episode on WEDNESDAY 4/15 & Thursday 4/16 (regular slot) which would get us caught up and hopefully stay on target for the season finale we all want to see. Cross your fingers!
