ReplyDeleteIt's interesting that we haven't had any contracts confirmed aside from Ellen and Patrick. I'm wondering if maybe one more original is bowing out and they want to keep that one a secret / leave it hanging over the break? It'd be a bit redundant at this point if it's the latter (last years "Chief gets electrocuted" was terribly done) but I wouldn't be surprised. Cristina is obviously being written out into the sunset with prospects of returning for the series finale one day (at this rate, May 2025). They're setting up Alex to potentially go to this private practice, and it looks like Bailey will be getting in trouble over antics with this bubble boy case. At this point losing Bailey or Richard wouldn't kill the show, which is unfortunate to say because Bailey and Cristina used to be my favorite characters, but Bailey has mostly been poorly written the past few seasons.

ReplyDeleteI loved private practice and when it was cancelled I hoped amelia would find her way back to greys. If done right this can just expand on her happy ending. She can still be with the boyfriend, even if he is off screen, and maybe we'll get to see her with a child, getting married etc. Just as long as Shonda doesnt kill her off...

ReplyDeleteExactly how I feel Amelia was my favorite and while I love the idea of seeing more of her(hopefully we will get updates on the rest of the PP characters...at least Addison) but on the other hand if she stays that means her happy life may not last long.

all of the originals + Callie expire this year. Those are pretty much all the characters I care about.
ReplyDeleteI thought so too at first but then I started thinking maybe it has nothing to do with the pregnancy. It would be weird if they waited 3 episodes to get pregnant, plus it says that "Callie receives devastating news", no mention of Arizona who would be also affected by this. So I'm thinking maybe something happens to Callie's father...? That would be really devastating for her, since they're super close. Just a theory though. :)
