  2. Say what? Troy "Butt Soup" Barnes is one of the best characters on the show! Why, why, why didn't I break his legs?! *Insert Troy crying* My emotions! My emotions!

  4. So yeah...Is the finalé of the fifth season going to be titled Ultimate Advanced Introducion to Finality? 'cause this makes me feel (I'm still a hopeless optimist, sue me) that the 6th season is not off the table yet but pretty much about to jump off it... :/

  5. What's going on why?!!?! NOOO!!!!!!!!

  6. Why? Oh Why?!?!?!?

  7. No Pierce and no Troy for most of the season. Greendale Five? I'm not liking this at all.

  8. well now im depressed - no more troy and abed in the morning or inspector spacetime :(

  9. They need to have Chang in the study group to replace Pierce as the social pariah and at least work Troy into the beginning and end of episodes, I mean it wouldn't take THAT long to stick Donald Glover and Danny Pudi in the study room and do a few different Troy and Abed in the morning gags...

  10. No one tells Abed.

It was pretty clear for a while now that Donald Glover doesn't give a crap about the show. Whereas the rest of the cast, minus Chevy, seems passionate about it (at Comic-Con, on Twitter, etc.), he didn't since season 1. Didn't do promotion, didn't seem to care, instead focusing on his rapping career (which I personally don't care for).

He should stick with a regular gig on a cult TV show, actors last longer than most rappers. And besides, it's not like Community will run for 12 seasons and a theme park, only two more seasons and a movie, it wasn't that much of a commitment; we're close to the end and now it wil feels much less cool - it's definitely a bigger loss than Chevy not appearing in 2 episodes last season.

Well, at least they have 5 episodes. They will probably use episodes 5,01 and 5,02 to explain why he's leaving Greendale (that's the only way it works) and then he'll pop (pop) up three more times - an impromptu visit to Greendale? An episode set in Troy & Abed's apartment?

  12. this sucks, but it will be interesting to see how Harmon will handle it. you have to figure that Chang will be used a good deal more, and perhaps accentuating the bit players a bit more: maybe a little more Leonard one ep, then Fat Neal, etc to pick up the slack.... fingers crossed

  13. This is terrible news! I love Donald Glover and Troy! I was so happy that Pierce (always my least favorite part of the show) was gone and Dan Harmon was back. Why did this have to happen?! So annoying!

  14. I hope they don't do more Chang. If there is one thing worse than Pierce, it is Chang. Using him to replace Pierce and Troy would be the worst mistake ever. IMO of course

  15. I seriously hope they don't include Chang.

  16. I am sure I hate it :/

  17. Is this so he can focus on that godawful personality of his Childish Gambino? *barf*

I like the guy, he is hilarious and I have seen him in concert but he needs to understand he is a better actor than rapper. If he had not been famous previously I do not think he would have released a CD yet. He still has a lot to learn about music.

  19. Well Damn. A little piece of me just died.

Dan Harmon' tweet from last night:
"Listen. It's Community. The day it's quiet is the day we need to panic. #sixseasonsandamovie #bestonecoming"

  21. I'm not all too surprised. He's been pulling away from the show since late S3...
