  6. OVER THE TOP oh my gosh I sure hope her father doesn't hurt Vincent - it certainly won't endear him to her. Should have been two hours though, was so jammed packed...IDEA make Season 2 PILOT 2 HOURS that would make us beasties VERY happy :D

It was ok, no real jaw droping moments for me, but I am intrigued about her father now. Who was that guy? and her surrogate dad knew, right? that's what he wanted to tell her/show her, right?

  8. My favourite part of the episode was actually the part where Gabe shows her to her cell at the top of the 'castle'. Loved the connection to the Disney Beauty and the Beast. That was great. So her dad is the head of Murfield I am guessing... interesting. Loved the scene with JT and Tess also. That Tess just keeps on growin on me.

  9. Great episode but one thing really annoyed me... the doctor shouldn't be revealing the blood and DNA test results to Catherine's sister. And I thought the capture at the end seemed almost anti-climatic as it seemed to take forever for the helicopter to get moving once Vincent was bagged.

  10. Awesome but the heartbreak was EPIC! Not over that ending at all and I won't be until S2 gets here gonna be a long painful summer.

LOL, trolls will be trolls. They do it to every show, so it's nothing personal. Not that is rigtht, but they'll go on doing it, it seems theres a lot of people out there with nothing better to do.

  16. I'm an invested fan and the love story between Catherine and Vincent is what drives the show for me. Some of the story plots seem irrelevant to that love story and it has become tiresome for me.

This show has such a wonderful and faithful fan base and I think they are the reason we get another Season, I just wish I loved this finale as much as everyone else.

  18. After watching the episode again and this time more closely i think...well let's start by the fight scene which was indeed kinda silly i mean two Beasts don't punch fight they rip out each other but they were fighting like two boys on the street...i i wish it had been more realistic. And that scene when Cat is escaping and Gabe is on the door banging it and can't even break it, i mean remember last episode where he just Weeew threw open the door and here after so much effort he couldn't even break it. And now to be completely honest with you i was disappointed with the ending...i mean so much for the talk of a big cliffhanger which scared me to death and i was like Ouh oh what's it gonna be...i was expecting something BIG like an OMG ending... had it been more like when Cat was tossed up to the wall by Gabe (and it was pretty bad) she wouldn't have woken up, up until after Vincent was taken and Tess and JT shown up and took her to the hospital. And the next season starts with Cat having no idea where V is,she thinks Muirfield took him and looking for Vincent in the wrong place, but in reality it was her real Dad who isn't a part of Muirfield.

  19. I loved the idea of the ending, but not the execution, it was kind of cheap and slow, Catherine had like 2 hours to try at least to get Vincent out of the net instead of just reach his hand, and c'mon!! he was a beast!!, he can bend steel, how come that he couldn't tear apart the net??!!, he was too resigned in my opinion, I won't say I didn't like it, but I was expecting something a little bit better.

Agree. I could not understand why Vincent did not free himself from the net. I had to scratch my head on that one.

Same for me, I was expecting more but was a little disappointed with this finale. As a fan of this show, I am trusting that everything will make sense in S2. I am sure that after this season the writers and producers will step it up.

  22. Even though the hand scene was a little dramatic (Vincent could have just ripped through the net but whatever), the finale was pretty great. I'm pretty shocked that Thomas is not Catherine's father though. That was surprising.

  23. Really?? were did you see that convo??.

  24. Im not sure it it was in actual episode but it was in a script for that scene: https://twitter.com/EmilySilver29/status/335380473176010752/photo/1

  25. No it wasn't, they edited the dialogue, probably they should've made the scene just like they had it in the script, it'd have been much better, anyway... Thanks a lot for the link!!.

  26. Sucks it wasn't on the show but now we know it was in writers mind and written down it fills that blank in the storyline... / no problem! :o)

  27. I finally finished the entire 1st season of this show today. The last few ep's have been more interesting. I like that they've now floated the idea of possibly trying to take down Muirfield, or getting away to try to live normal lives. It gives me at least some glimmer of hope for Vincent and Catherine's future. I especially like that Tess now knows about them, and is besties with Cat again. I thought the finale had a lot of good moments and a few nonsensical bad choices.

LIKED - the action, the Gabe story arc, Tess, Vincent and Catherine's support and love for each other, and showing Cat's family again. I also liked that they're intro'ing the possibility that Vincent's condition can be cured.

    DISLIKED:
    - the totally unnecessary plot twist of Catherine's bio-dad being someone else, who is probably working with Muirfield and seems dangerous, or at least shady. We already had Cat's mom having been in that organization. I hated that contrived addition to the story. Cat's relationship with her father, sister, and even stepmother were among the best parts of Cat's background/story. Why did they have to mess that up?
    - That net scene was ridiculous. It looked obviously orchestrated to show a cliffhanger, hand-touching-love connection, when Vincent has already proven his superstrength can tear through just about anything...but apparently not a fabric net? Doesn't make sense.
    - It wasn't cool to tease fans w/ a cure for Vincent and how they were going to run off and try to be a happy normal couple, then take it away. But I guess the show would have to end or change show name since there'd be no more "beast".

    SUMMARY:
    - The last few ep's made my marathon, of watching this show, somewhat worth it; since it seems like the writing and storytelling has improved.
    - However, I'm not sure I'll be sticking with it once it comes back next season. Big reason is, I still can't see much hope for the main couple's future. The writers/showrunners made Muirfield so pervasive and unstoppable, it seems that Vincent will never be safe, and Catherine will eventually have to choose to give up her life and loved ones for him. That is such a downer.
    - Plus the convoluted plot of Cat's bio-dad? I'm totally not cool w/ that. It's like Elena's story from Vampire Diaries. If I keep watching, should I expect to see Cat's family start dying off b/c of Muirfield? I suppose I'm invested enough to maybe keep tabs once in a while about storyline from spoilers, promos, and maybe sneak peeks. If it improves, I might come back for parts of season 2. We'll see. Good luck to the show, for the rest of you who are diehard fans.

  28. but the beast on beast fight WAS indeed not beastly at all....like there was nothing supernatural about it except for bodies being thrown places.....
