Trey in Nevada: Any news about Nip/Tuck's final episodes? I still love this show.
The growing tension between Sean and Christian finally comes to a head this week when the guys head to therapy to mend their relationship. Secrets are revealed (an affair with Kimber and embezzling from McNamara/Troy), but the biggest shock comes when one of Nip/Tuck's original castmembers seemingly says so long a few episodes before the series finale. Any guesses? The biggest challenge ahead for the docs is the apparent demise of plastic surgery and the surge of "injectables," which we'll see the faux bros face in its final days.

Amanda, via Twitter: What's up with Matt and Julie on Friday Night Lights?! And how's Tim Riggins lookin' in the episode?
You'd think after Matt (Zach Gilford) just books it to Chicago without so much as a good-bye text to Julie (Aimee Teegarden), she'd want nothing to do with him when he returns to Dillon for a visit. So much for that. Girl has no willpower. In the season-four finale of Friday Night Lights, they have a heart-to-heart sesh about their relationship that ends with Matt offering Julie a plane ticket to Chicago. As for our dear Tim Riggins (Taylor Kitsch), he ain't looking so hot. Well, less hot than usual. Tim will be making a huge sacrifice for his brother, Billy (Derek Phillips), and the consequences that come with it are hardcore. Also, I'll have you know that Taylor's performance in the final scenes did in fact make me cry.

Bianca in Fla.: OMG OMG OMG KRISTIN! I'm sending this last-minute message in hopes that you can completely make my week and give us spoilers on who else is getting married on Gossip Girl?!? (Possibly Chuck and Blair?!) There were set pictures of the cast filming inside a church today, with 150 extras! Seems it would point to a big wedding—and since Dorota's wedding has already been filmed—who else is it?! Hints please! Thanks!
Sorry, my dear. There are no big weddings or funerals coming up on Gossip Girl (other than Dorota's modest nuptials, obviously). The set pics probably captured one of the show's many upcoming party shoots. Lots of parties to come, but no church-centric life milestones for our favorite Upper East Siders.

Penny in Washington, D.C.: Are Addison and Sam really over on Private Practice?
The feelings are there for both parties involved, but it looks like Addison isn't willing to give up her friendship with Naomi for a shot at real love with Sam—and he's not happy about her choice.

Patricia in White Plains, N.Y.: Do you have any scoop on Richard and Kahlan? Legend of the Seeker is my guilty pleasure. I love it. Can we expect any hookups from them anytime soon this season?
Yes, Richard and Kahlan will hook up again. As Legend of the Seeker show runner Ken Biller tells us, "We have not seen the last time where circumstances create the conditions by which these two characters may in fact be able to fulfill their sexual desires for each other."

Cana in Seattle: I am hearing a rumor that Dean Winters (Dennis Duffy), Jon Hamm (Dr. Drew Baird) and Jason Sudeikis (Floyd) are returning to 30 Rock and in the same episode. Is this true? That would be an amazing storyline.
It's true, as you can see from the picture above, it's happening this Thursday, and Jon Bon Jovi will be in the mix as well, playing himself! It's a Valentine's Day episode, and Liz is planning a root canal to celebrate the day, but then all her old flames return to disrupt her plans. (Psst—Elizabeth Banks also guests as a love interest for Jack.)

Reina in St. George, Utah: Thanks for The Office scoop last week. I just signed the Save Wallace campaign! Do you know anything else about the Jam baby yet?
Remember the greatness that was Jim and Pam's one-hour Office episode? NBC just announced that instead of stretching the arrival of the Jam baby over two weeks, we'll get another one-hour supersize ep March 4—how amazing is that?! As for any details surrounding the birth, Ellie Kemper wouldn't tell us much but did tease, "I know the fans will love it. I'm a fan, I like it. I speak for all fans."

Max in Tempe, Ariz.: I really love what Parks and Recreation has going on with Andy and April. Are they going to become official anytime soon?
Parks and Recreation isn't making these two official just yet, but Andy's band does score a gig this week, so we're guessing their No. 1 fan, April, will get involved somehow. Elsewhere in Pawnee, Leslie and her new boyfriend, Justin (Justin Theroux), spend Valentine's Day playing cupid as they try and set up Leslie's mom (Pamela Reed) and her crush, guest star John Larroquette.

Delia in Grand Rapids, Mich.: Will Arnett was high-larious on Parks and Recreation as that MRI guy. Will Amy bring him her man back? And when are we going to get that Arrested Development movie?
To answer your first question, Will's guest gig wasn't even driven by his close personal relationship to Amy Poehler (her being his wife/baby mama and all that), but rather by his relationship with P-Rex boss Mike Schur. Will says, "Mike Schur who runs the show over there with Greg Daniels is a good friend of ours. Mike called me and said, 'Hey, we're writing this character right now that we think would be great for you.' He said, 'What do you think?' and I said, 'I'd love to do it.'" As for the A.D. movie, Will says, "We're going to be making it later on. Depends on when the script gets finished. Hopefully that will be sometime soon. Because I've been working with Mitch [Hurwitz] for almost a year now [on the Fox pilot], my schedule is his schedule. I'm available when he's available."

Sherrie in Baltimore: Modern Family keeps getting better and better! Anything fun coming up?
Expect to see some sexy time gone wrong on Modern Family this week. "We have a Valentine's that goes awry, involving missing clothing and public nudity," Julie Bowen teased when we chatted with her recently. We're not sure how the nakedness comes about, but Claire and Phil are in the midst of spicing things up with some role playing when things go bad. And just because we're baby crazy around here, little Lily pops up in some adorable Cupid wings.

Neil in Sacramento, Calif.: Anything good coming up on Community?
Britta's always-changing feelings about Jeff finally get the best of her this week when she drunk-dials Jeff as Valentine's Day approaches on Community. Without stating the obvious too much, things get pretty awkward between the will-they, won't-they lovebirds.

Melinda in Pittsburgh: Good Day, Kristin! Any word on if Kristin Kreuk will be sticking around on Chuck?
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Kristin is only set to appear on four episodes of Chuck, which means there are just two left with the adorable Hannah. The newest Nerd Herder pops up again tonight and wraps up her gig on March 1.

Deanne in Michigan: Chuck me, please. When are we going to see Chuck and Sarah hook up with Hannah and Shaw?
Sparks really start flying in tonight when Chuck inadvertently involves Hannah (Kristin Kreuk) in Agent Shaw's (Brandon Routh) mission, thus propelling Sarah into the mix. Oh, what a tangled web these folks weave.

Vivien in New London, Conn.: Huge fan of Mercy here! What's coming up?
This Wednesday's ep is a heartbreaker! Veronica thinks her infidelity-tastic relationship with Chris is finally going somewhere when he asks her to dinner on Valentine's Day, except the course of true adulterous love never did run smooth. On her way to dinner, Veronica gets caught in a violent and tragic situation, and we're pretty sure she never makes it to the flowers-and-chocolate part of the evening. In other news, Angel and Chloe get temporarily reassigned to the ER, where Chloe comports herself better than expected. She might just make it after all.

Callie in Ypsilanti, Mich.: So excited that NBC is bringing back Trauma for so many new episodes. What can we expect when it returns?
We hear that Trauma has been tweaked a little by the writers, but only for the better. Star Aimee Garcia says: "We listened to our critics, we listened to the EMT community, and we actually incorporated their thoughts into the show." Plus, look for a big Rabbit (Cliff Curtis) storyline. He gets sent to therapy because of misbehavior on the job and we'll learn a lot from his chats with the shrink about his background and how he ended up so crazy.

The Office - Dwight won't deliver Pam's baby

But might the office staff get more involved than that? After all, Pam and Jim’s decision to delay the inevitable would seem to run the risk of having Baby Halpert enter the world right there alongside a box of Dunder Mifflin’s best bright white bond.

“I can’t imagine she’s going to have the baby without the entire office involved,” Jenna Fischer told Fancast. “I feel like that is her fate. She can’t get married or have a baby without all of these people looming.”

Even scarier a prospect is that should Pam not leave for the hospital in time, the farm-raised Dwight might fancy himself capable of birthing the baby.

“Oh god. The Pam inside of me is screaming at that thought,” Fischer said when asked about such a scenario. “I think she would rather drive through a hurricane [than let that happen].

“We are not letting Dwight deliver this baby,” she reiterated, “though it would be his dream come true, I am sure.”

Regardless, Pam and Jim’s firstborn will be arriving later than it should, seeing as the mom-to-be technically is due in February.

“[Pam and Jim] didn’t factor in NBC’s Olympics coverage when they got accidentally pregnant,” Fischer said. “How dare they!”

NBC will broadcast the highly anticipated baby episode of “The Office” as a special one-hour show on Thursday, March 4 (9-10 p.m. ET) rather than as two separate half-hour episodes over two weeks as previously announced.

In the special hour-long episode of “The Office” titled “The Delivery Part 1 and 2,” Pam’s (Jenna Fischer) contractions begin but she and Jim (John Krasinski) are determined to wait it out as long as possible so they can have more time at the hospital. Meanwhile the rest of the office tries to distract Pam from the pain with food and entertainment.

In the second half hour, Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) anxiously waits for Pam and Jim’s baby to be born. Back at the office, Erin (Ellie Kemper) makes Andy (Ed Helms) jealous when she has lunch with Kevin (Brian Baumgartner)

Thanks to Emma for the heads up.

It’s official: The Office is getting serious about an Andy-Erin romance. In the March 11 episode, the couple-to-be will finally set out on their first date.

“It’s been a slow process of Andy gaining the courage to ask her out, but he finally does,” reveals Office co-star-slash-showrunner Paul Lieberstein. “The wrinkle in their first date is she gets sick [with the flu], but they attempt to push on anyway.”

The swoon-worthy duo will face an even bigger obstacle in the coming weeks as pieces of Erin’s backstory begin to emerge. “We will reveal that Erin is a foster kid,” says producer BJ Novak. “Andy went to Cornell, so they had extremely different childhoods and upbringings. And learning about those differences and trying to figure out if they mesh will provide a lot of comedy.”

Andy and Erin’s courtship has drawn comparisons to the early days of Jim and Pam. Exec producer Greg Daniels, however, views them as two very different relationships. “I don’t think it’s like the Jim-Pam situation because [Andy and Erin] are played a little more comedically,” he says. “Jim and Pam are very funny characters, but their relationship is very sincere. Andy and Erin aren’t quite as bright [nor are they] the voice of the audience in the way that Jim and Pam are.”

Novak sees them as “kind of halfway between Jim and Pam and Andy and Angela. They’re a comedy couple, but they’re a sweet couple, too.”

What do you think? Do Andy and Erin have Jim/Pam-type potential? Looking forward to their first date? Comment away!

Thanks to Emma for the heads up.

You didn’t expect him to wait around for Holly forever, did you?

Later this season, The Office will introduce a significant new love interest for Steve Carell’s romantically-challenged alter ego.

“Michael is going to meet someone,” reveals Office showrunner-slash-star Paul Lieberstein. “It’s one of these set-ups where a bunch of people go out and you don’t know you’re being set up.”

When Michael discovers what’s going on, “he kind of flips out and goes into ‘date mode,’” says Lieberstein. “And it goes in a weird direction from there.”

Casting for the key role will begin in a few weeks and the character will likely debut in March or April.

Getting back to the Holly question, might we see Amy Ryan return as Michael’s soul mate in the near future? “Not this season,” says Lieberstein, “but I’d love to see her back.”

Do you think it’s time for Michael to move on? Got any casting tips for Lieberstein? Head to the comments!

Parks and Recreation - Picked up for 3rd Season

NBC has renewed "Parks and Recreation" for a third season.

The early pickup was done strictly for production reasons to lock in actors' schedules, a rep for NBC said, stressing that the sole pickup for the sophomore comedy in no means reflects on the renewal chances of NBC's other Thursday comedies.

Indeed, "The Office," "30 Rock" and freshman "Community," which pull higher ratings than "Parks," all look good to return for another season.

After a soft start as a midseason entry last spring, "Parks," which stars Amy Poehler and Aziz Ansari, has been gaining steam this season creatively and ratings-wise.

Season to date, "Parks" has averaged a 2.3 rating/6 share in adults 18-49 and 5.1 million viewers overall, retaining 95% or more of its 18-49 lead-in with original telecasts.

The series also ranks among the top 15 primetime shows on the major networks in upscale 18-49 viewership.

The Office - Andy Buckley Article

Thanks to Emma for the heads up.

Wealth-management adviser Andy Buckley may be about to lose his job — his acting job on NBC’s hit TV show “The Office,” that is.

“It’s crazy. It’s a fluke,” Buckley said of his moonlighting as an actor.

His surprising turn as a minor character on “The Office” happened almost by accident, Buckley said. While at a local farmer’s market, he ran into the show’s casting director, who had tried to find roles for him in the past. She asked for his card, and nine months later, invited him to audition for the part of Dunder Mifflin’s CFO.

But Buckley may not be employed on “The Office” much longer. Dunder Mifflin’s CFO David Wallace is in danger of being fired, along with several other top executives after the announcement of a company buyout.

“David Wallace’s fate will be decided on Feb. 4,” Buckley said, adding that even he doesn’t know what the producers have in store for his character.
