Becki Newton cast as lead in "Goodwin Games" pilot

Fox is moving forward with Carter Bays and Craig Thomas.

The network has greenlight Goodwin Games, the How I Met Your Mother pair's single-camera comedy project starring pilot season darling Becki Newton, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The half-hour entry, which hails from 20th Century Fox TV, revolves around three siblings -- one of which the Ugly Betty star will play -- who reconnect after the death of their father. Bays and Thomas join Mother executive producer Chris Harris as writers and EPs on the project.

CBS Pilot - Casting News - Ryan Phillippe Joins Cast

Ryan Phillippe is joining the cast of CBS' untitled hour-long pilot from Greg Berlanti which was formerly titled Golden Boy. The series follows one cop’s meteoric rise from officer to detective to Police Commissioner, and Phillippe will be playing the lead role of this said cop.

John Goodman and Roseanne to reunite for "Downwardly Mobile"

John Goodman is near a deal to co-star in Downwardly Mobile, the NBC comedy pilot starring Roseanne Barr as the outspoken proprietor and den mother to an array of characters at a mobile home park.

Goodman, who played Roseanne's loyal husband Dan Conner for nine seasons on the ABC comedy from 1988-1997, will play one of the guys who work at the park.

Barr is writing and executive producing the multicamera pilot, from 20th Television, alongside Eric Gilliland, a former writer and executive producer on Roseanne. John Argent, Barr's boyfriend who appeared on her Lifetime unscripted series, will also exec produce.

So, in the somewhat heartbreaking and 100% awesome "Making Angels" we got a glimpse into the life of Astrid and her Asperger's counterpart, and I learned one thing: When Astrid cries, there's nothing good in the world anymore! She is NEVER allowed to cry again! That was so sad in such an adorable way! As for the case of the week, it was nice (and awfully convenient) to have Alternate Astrid on our side for once, as she could isolate variables at a speed that confounded everyone in the room!

I was confused for the character's motives, because he saw all the tragedy of a person who he would meet, and then he would kill them...but I couldn't figure out how... I simply guesstimated that he was using the Observer's device to kill them with their future somehow. Either way, now we see that September hasn't exactly been in line with his superiors, and not only has he disobeyed orders, but he's gone missing... (and his zodiac counterparts have not discovered that he was shot by someone, and COULD be dead!)

We all know that a huge Observer episode is coming up soon, and this fed right into that storyline very well. Overall I loved it, even though we're still stuck in sidewaysville, and the story of the week was lacking in some aspects.

WELCOME TO WESTFIELD

Ok, so from the previews we can see that this isn't going to be related to the main storyline as much as we'd like (You know, every episode SHOULD be part of the mytharc, but alas...) but damn, this episode looks like a blast! It reminds me of when that building was switching places through the universes and the man got stuck inside of himself! Of course, from the synopses I've read, and the promos I've seen, it's going to be different from that, but to have the whole team out in the open and in the middle of a very dangerous situation might just be the fast-paced adrenaline episode we've been waiting for! I see people duplicating, glass shattering, and buses flickering in and out of existence! Johari Window WHO???

Parks and Recreation - Season 4 - Bradley Whitford to guest star

The Huffington Post can exclusively reveal that in an upcoming episode of the NBC comedy, Bradley Whitford, who played Josh Lyman on "The West Wing," will play the departing Pawnee city councilman whose seat Leslie and Bobby Newport (Paul Rudd) are running for.

According to "Parks and Recreation" co-creator and executive producer Michael Schur, the name of the March episode ("Live Ammo") came from a "West Wing" episode, in which the character Ainsley Hayes wrote a position paper that got the president to quickly change his mind on an issue. She's shocked at the speed of the switch and the pace of the White House, and as Schur recalled, Sam Seaborn said to her, "Look, this is the White House, we play with live ammo around here."

The "Parks and Recreation" episode doesn't have the same story line as 'The West Wing' episode, "but we kept referring to that line and that idea that if Leslie were to win… when she's on City Council, her decisions have a much wider impact," Schur said in an interview on the set of the show. "So we actually have Bradley Whitford say to [Leslie] at a point in the episode, 'Look, this is City Council, we play with live ammo.'"

Welcome to this years SpoilerTV Cancellation Predictor.

Last year each week we updated our data (see the notes below about how we get our data) in order to see if we could predict which show(s) would be renewed or cancelled. As you can see from last years summary, we did pretty well, with the exception of Chuck, Fringe, Community, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behaviour and The Chicago Code our table was pretty accurate.

This index is by no means a 100% accurate guide about if your show is safe or in danger and should be seen as a bit of FUN.

NOTE: That until we have at least 3-4 weeks of data for each show that this table is not going to be very accurate and it will vary a lot each update. Once we have 3-4 weeks of data we'll post our predictions for the Season ahead and we can then track how we are doing. We'll try to update the full Cancellation Table every couple of days as we get new data in.

Please let us know if there are any shows missing (only new and returning shows from ABC/FOX/CW/CBS/NBC will be included) and if there are any of the shows below that have already been renewed etc and we'll update the color coding. I did this in a hurry so there may be a few omissions. I'll give it a big tidy as we go on and get more data in. You can access this page via the Features Menu or by bookmarking this page.

Notes:
1) The Higher the Index Rating the more likely a show is to get cancelled, lower numbers = safety.
2) This is an ongoing exercise that I hope to refine each week to make the index more accurate.
3) Only the major networks are included currently ie ABC/FOX/CW/CBS/NBC.
4) This is a weekly update of all the shows using our own formula based on the viewing numbers and + 7 Numbers. These 2 factors are the main weighting of the Index number, however we also factor in things such as the Network they are on (eg CW shows get lower numbers), the day of week they air (eg Fridays are lower numbers), DVR Numbers and +7 numbers,DVD/Blu-Ray Sales,Production Costs, Cast Contracts/Availability, Syndication, online popularity such as streamed views and Torrents etc.
5) Shows still might not get renewed despite good numbers due eg a show coming to an end of run eg Chuck is in it's finale season no matter what the ratings are etc or could be due to key cast wanting to leave after their contracts have expirted. An example might be Supernatural if it’s two leads, Jared and Jensen wanted out, would Supernatural be renewed even if it had good numbers but no leads for the new season? etc
6) Shows that have been renewed for a New Season are marked in Blue
7) Shows with an Index over 3.00 are likely to be cancelled, 2.50-2.99 - in danger and less that 2.50 safe. Although shows nearer 2.50 are more in danger than a show with a lower index.

Now that we've got a fair amount of ratings information we thought we'd start to publish the ratings numbers in terms of raw viewers. The charts below use the overnight (non-adjusted) number of viewers for each show on the main Broadcast Networks ONLY (ABC, CBS, CW, NBC and FOX).

It's not meant to be a 100% accurate list of ratings but should be seen as a way to see roughly how shows are performing week on week.

-Ratings Breakdown:
Fox aired American Idol and it finished as the highest rated show of the evening, with a 12.0 rating/19 share in the metered markets from 8-9 p.m. But CBS still managed to dominate overall with a 1.0 rating point advantage over second-place Fox. Third overall was ABC, followed by distant NBC, which did not benefit by slotting an encore telecast of The Voice at 10 p.m., and The CW. On a rare positive note, The CW increased by 11 percent year-to-year.

CBS’ red-hot The Big Bang Theory finished second in the overnights at 8 p.m. with a 10.4/16. Comparably, that built from the year-ago evening (8.8/13 on 2/10/11) by 18 percent. Recent entry Rob! at 8:30 p.m. was consistent at a second-place 6.8/11, which held 65 percent of The Big Bang Theory lead-in. But like former time period occupant Rules of Engagement, the question to ponder is if Rob! can eventually stand on its own. At present, it does not seem like it can.

Next on CBS was growing freshman drama Person of Interest (#1: 9.6/15 at 9 p.m.), which increased from year-ago occupant CSI (8.1/12 on 2/10/11) by 19 percent, followed by perfectly compatible The Mentalist (9.3/16 at 10 p.m.). Yes, you can count on Person of Interest returning next season.

On Fox, aforementioned American Idol remained on the downside, with last night’s 12.0/19 off by 16 percent from the 14.3/22 on year earlier. Next was week five of drama The Finder at a series-low (and distant third-place) 4.3/ 7 at 9 p.m., which held only 34 percent of the 8:30 p.m. portion of American Idol. Tick, tock…the cancellation clock is ticking. There is no way to spin a loss of two-thirds.

Over at ABC, Wipeout at 8 p.m. continues to deteriorate with a mere 3.2/ 5 at 8 p.m. (#3t). One year earlier it scored a 3.9/ 6 on 2/10/11. Veteran Grey’s Anatomy is the net’s strongest Thursday occupant, as always, with a 7.1/11 (#2, down nine percent from one year earlier) at 9 p.m. And spin-off Private Practice, which cannot stand on its own, finished second at 10 p.m. with a 5.0/ 9. As a reminder, Private Practice will move into the Tuesday 10 p.m. hour out of Dancing With the Stars for four weeks beginning on April 10.

Elsewhere, a one-hour edition of NBC’s 30 Rock was left at the starting gate with a 3.2/ 5 (#3t) from 8-9 p.m. Demo-friendly The Office at 9 p.m. scored a 3.8/ 6 in the overnights (#4) at 9 p.m., which dropped by 19 percent year-to-year, followed by relocated Up All Night at a fourth-place 2.8/ 4 at 9:30 p.m. Although Up All Night did seem promising on Wednesday, a move to Thursday does not bode well for its future.

An encore telecast of aforementioned The Voice capped off the evening for NBC with a very last-place 2.8/ 5 at 10 p.m. Reality/competitions never repeat well.

Over at The CW, solid The Vampire Diaries (#5: 2.5/ 4) increased by 14 percent year-to-year, followed by freshman The Secret Circle at a 1.6/ 2. Comparably, retention for The Secret Circle out of the 8:30 p.m. portion of The Vampire Diaries (2.4/ 4) was 67 percent. In other words, could be but/could be worse.

First up, Michael J. Fox is slayed to put in his fifth appearance as Alicia’s nemesis Louis Canning this spring, TVLine has learned exclusively.

This time around, Canning will take on Lockhart Gardener in a case involving a professional hockey player.

Jill Flint, meanwhile, has also booked a return as FBI agent Lana Delaney, although it’s unclear what brings her back into the fold (another round of footsies with Kalinda, perhaps?).

Lastly, as we revealed in this week’s episode of Spoiler Alert!, Elizabeth Reaser is set to reprise her role as Will’s ex-girlfriend Tammy in an upcoming episode.

And yes, we will be seeing that psycho side of Dr. Fell that her now dead ex-boyfriend warned Alaric (Matt Davis) about. Nobody does psycho like Nanny Carrie, y'all!
2. When Tyler (Michael Trevino) returns (he will in the Spring!), it won't be as a Klaroline fan. Duh. "There's nothing worse than going away, putting yourself through endless and eternal agony to break a bond to some guy when you come back to town you realize he's been putting the moves on your girl," Plec says.

Tiff: Are we ever going to revisit Santana's coming out storyline on Glee?
Oh, yeah. Gloria Estefan just told us she can't wait to really "have it out" with Santana's (Naya Rivera) grandmother over her daughter's sexuality. And then there's the song they're all singing…basically, just prepare for some fireworks when Gloria comes to Glee!

Jesse in Laguna Beach, Calif.: Do we have any hope for Zoe and Wade being together in Hart of Dixie? I'm guessing Zoe and George will have some type of romantic plot, but in the end it's got to be all Wade, right??
Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Wade (Wilson Bethel) clearly have amazing chemistry, but it doesn't help that he seems to have chemistry with anyone that has a pulse. Case in point, there's an episode coming up where Wade is going to turn on the charm for someone who is not Zoe. The good news is that this other woman will be appalled that he's hitting on her…at least at first. Looks like it'll be more of the waiting game for Zoe-Wade fans.

Mommy's home! Yes, we will finally meet George's (Jeremy Sisto) ex and Tess' (Jane Levy) mom in an upcoming episode and learn more about the family's past. So what's she like? Well, she's kind of a neurotic mess.

We think the odds of seeing the littlest Messer are very good. Co-executive producer Trey Callaway tells us: "Whenever we can continue that [Danny, Lindsay and Lucy] story we absolutely do because we recognize the value it has to the viewers, but also because it's really fun to write those scenes." Add that to showrunner Pam Veasey's promise and it could be a sure bet: "We'll try to see a glimpse of Lucy...it would be fitting to know where Lucy is before the year's out."

Colette: Please tell me One Tree Hill ends on a happy note! This season is already killing me!
Would it be One Tree Hill if you weren't put through the emotional wringer each week? Hate to break it to you, but the only thing creator Mark Schwahn promised us was an ending. "I believe in emotional resolution for the characters. I don't believe in story resolution meaning, 'this is where everybody ends,'" he says. "Sometimes the end is the beginning." But fear not, because he showed the finale to the cast, and they were satisfied, which is good enough for us! "[The cast was] really proud of it and I feel like the fans will be, too. I wouldn't end 180 episodes of a show with a cliffhanger," he laughs to us.

Ariel: Can you PLEASE post some news about Alcatraz? It is by far my favorite new show in a long time.
Was that all-caps "please" a way to scold us? How dare you! Actually, we love Alcatraz, too, so we're ashamed we haven't given up more scoop. Remedying that in three, two, one...the team will have a case coming up involving an inmate named Webb who's described as intelligent and edgy. Not too scary, right? Oh, did we forget to mention he'll be very much like Anthony Perkins from Psycho? Yikes. Let's hope Webb doesn't have the same mommy issues.

Autumn Reeser joins ABC's "Last Resort"

Autumn Reeser, who co-starred on ABC's No Ordinary Family last season, will return to the network in Shawn Ryan's drama pilot Last Resort, Deadline reports.

The project follows a U.S. nuclear submarine crew led by Capt. Marcus Chaplin (Andre Braugher), who defies orders to fire nuclear missiles. As a result, they set up a camp on an island that is home to a NATO listening station. Reeser will play Kylie, a lobbyist for her family's weapons manufacturing company.

"Just booked an amazing role in @ShawnRyanTV's pilot 'Last Resort'... so excited!! :) :) :)" Reeser tweeted Thursday night.

The Selection:

A very unusual show for the CW it is somewhat of a teenage girl version NBC' Kings and Harry Potter with the cheesiness of Once Upon a Time. the series is set in a fantasy world were people are assigned numbers for their class, a 5TH class girl "America" is "sold" by her father into a competition called The Selection in which different girls compete to become the new Princess of the realm. However the lead America already has a lover who is a 6th class interested in joining the royal army. The setting is a very conservative society where sex outside of marrige leads to jail.
Similar to NBC' King is a subplot where the queen's daughter is having an affair with one of the girl competing in the selection.
The series is very ambitious, and is one of those shows that could just be completely awful or special depending on its execution, i'm not quite sure the CW can handle a show like this but its certainly something different.
The show also feels like it is written for a much younger audience even more so than most CW shows, it feels more targeted for female teens than W 18 - 34.
There is a more interesting storyline in the background of a rebel army plotting to overthrow the royal family that kidnaps some of the girls competing in "The Selection".
The Show features alot of strong women, most of the leaders of the rebel army are women, and the Queen and her flamboyant advisor have a strong political influence.

The overall tone is much lighter than CW fantasy series such as The Vampire Diaries.

Success chances: This show is a big risk but perhaps if done right it could tap into a huge "Once Upon a Time" style audience but this could also be the worst show of 2012 - 2013 something like this really depends on execution in a huge way.

The Munsters - Bryan Fuller pilot no longer in contention for upfronts @ NBC, Ex-Comm not picked up @ ABC

Bryan Fuller's The Munsters remake has been delayed due to difficult in casting, the pilot could still film later in the summer after the upfronts to content for mid-season.
This leaves NBC will much less drama pilots than last year: only 8 and alot of which will probably not be good enough to be picked-up last year NBC left 5 drama pilots not picked up if the same happens this year..only 3 new dramas (good news for fans of bubble dramas @ NBC).
Also ABC's Sci-Fi presidential drama Ex-Comm appears to be dead/ not picked up to pilot.

Allie Gonino plays the role of Laurel Mercer on the teen mystery show "The Lying Game". Before that she was Michelle on the tv show "10 things I hate about you". Allie gives us some interesting insight into life on set of "The Lying Game" and her thoughts on her character Laurel Mercer. Also she tells us a little bit about her time with the girl group The Stunners who were an opening act on Justin Bieber's "My World Tour".

1. On "The Lying Game" you play Laurel Mercer, Sutton's sister. What do you like about your character? And is there something you don't like?

I have so much fun playing Laurel. Sometimes I feel like I'm reliving some moments I had when I was a sixteen year-old. But our lives are very different, which is also interesting because there are a lot of situations she has to deal with that I've never had to. I have siblings, but they're all much older than I am and we didn't really grow up together. Getting to play scenes with Alex [Chando] is neat in that way. It's nice to get insight to what having a sister close in age is like. I love that Laurel doesn't bathe in self-pity when she's having to go through all this crazy stuff. (You'll get to see even more craziness in the next episodes.) She remains strong in the face of adversity and that's what I admire. As of now, there's not really anything I don't like about her. I think for a spoiled sixteen year-old, she's turned out quite well. Maybe she could get some more friends though!

2. Do you think it is possible for Laurel to not realize that it's not really her sister who's living at their house at the moment?

I've been asking myself that same question! She's a smart girl, I don't know how she hasn't figured it out yet. But I'm justifying it by the relationship with Justin and her new music venture. Her head's been elsewhere, involved with her boyfriend and music. I also think she might just be grateful that her sister is finally being nice to her, and she's so innocent, I don't think she would even question the change.

If you had to use only one word to describe the last six episodes of season two, what would it be?
I would say, "intense."

That's always a good thing on this show.
Yeah, if you think there's tension at the end of this first episode back … that's nothing. It just keeps getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger, and worse and worse from there. Our finale this year is unbelievable. Every episode ramps up until we get to the very end.

Will we see the Governor this season?
I can't [answer] that. But I can say that the Governor is a very popular character, and everybody working on the show is dying to get him in the show as soon as possible. And he will definitely appear in the show at some point. But whether or not it will be this season or next season or the season after that, I can't really say. And I do apologize for that.

In season one, Merle was left handcuffed to a rooftop with walkers closing in, and cut off his hand to escape. Then we saw him in an apparent hallucination. Will we see Merle again?
Oh, absolutely. Michael Rooker [who plays Merle] really came in on the first season and just was absolutely amazing, and really helped sell the show. I think his presence on the show was essential. And so we got him back briefly a few episodes ago, and we'll definitely get him back at some point. Again, I wouldn't want to spoil anything. But we can't do without our Rooker for long.

Hurd: I’d make a stand at City Hall. It’s a beautiful period building, with good sight lines from the tower for picking off zombies. And it’s essentially next door to the police department.

Q: Kids have organized zombie clubs at schools, the California Institute of Technology is hosting a Zombie 5k Saturday as a charitable fundraiser and there is even a zombie parody of “Pride and Prejudice.” What’s vogue about the undead?
A: Zombies are the ultimate equalizer. You don’t need special skills or superpowers to be a zombie. I’m not surprised that Caltech is having a Zombie 5K. After all, zombies are pursuing ‘braiiinnsss’ — and so is Caltech.

Q: You’ve been involved in several projects dealing with the possible collapse of society. Are you trying to tell us something?
A: I love apocalyptic stories about everyday people caught up in the midst of extraordinary events. And I’m a geek from way back, so the sci-fi settings are a plus. Given that the Doomsday or Armageddon Clock is currently set at five minutes to midnight, I’m not alone.

Q: Is there really a fifth “Terminator” film in the works? Maybe set in Sacramento this time?
A: Unfortunately, Jim Cameron and I no longer control the rights to the “Terminator” franchise. It would be nice if we could terminate the state’s budget deficit, wouldn’t it?

The Walking Dead - Robert Kirkman Sued by Collaborator

Robert Kirkman, the famed comic book writer who helped create AMC's hit zombie series The Walking Dead, has been sued by a childhood friend and collaborator who claims he is entitled to as much as half the proceeds from the lucrative franchise.

Michael Anthony ("Tony") Moore, a fellow comic book artist, filed suit Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court. In the complaint, a copy of which was obtained by THR, Moore says he was duped into assigning his interest in the material over to Kirkman, who has since gone on to fame and fortune. Moore, on the other hand, has received very little compensation and has not be able to access profit statements from properties including Walking Dead, he says.

"Each of these works was prepared by [Moore] and Kirkman with the intention that their contributions be merged into inseparable or independent parts of a unitary whole," the complaint states. "[Moore] and Kirkman were thus joint authors and co-owners of the copyrights in these works."

Kirkman and Moore were apparently good friends and collaborators for many years before Kirkman became a big-time name as a creator and writer of Walking Dead, which has become the highest-rated series on cable TV.

Moore claims that in 2005, Kirkman and his agents devised a scheme to fraudulently induce him to assign his copyright interests over to Kirkman's company. Moore, who grew up with Kirkman and worked together on several projects, claims he signed a deal granting him 60 percent of "Comic Publishing Net Proceeds" in connection with Walking Dead and another project called Brit; 20 percent of "motion picture net proceeds" in connection with Walking Dead and Brit; and 50 percent of "motion picture net proceeds" from another project called Battle Pope.

But Moore says he hasn't received much revenue nor any profit statements from Kirkman or his company, despite the success of his projects. "Indeed, they have not issued a single statement or allowed access to their books and records in accordance with the reporting obligations of the agreement," the complaint alleges.

Moore claims he was told in 2005 by Kirkman that a big TV deal was on the table but "that Kirkman would not be able to complete the deal unless [Moore] assigned all of his interest in the Walking Dead and other works to Kirkman," according to the complaint. Thinking the deal would fall apart, Moore signed the contract, he says, allowing Kirkman to "swindle" him out of his 50 percent interest in the copyright and never intending to pay him his share of royalties.

Walking Dead premiered on AMC on Halloween 2010 and has since become basic cable's highest-rated series, drawing as many as 7.3 million viewers.

The suit, filed by Devin McRae, William Wright and Mary Gordon at LA's Early Sullivan Wright Gizer McRae firm, alleges causes of action for promissory fraud, breach of written contract, breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, money had an received and accounting.

Kirkman's attorney Allen Grodzky tells THR that the case is "totally frivolous. Mr. Moore is owed no money at all. And Mr. Moore's contract has an attorneys' fees clause in it so we will be going after him to collect attorneys' fees. We are taking this matter very seriously."

This is how we did it in The Godfather: James Caan shows son Scott how to shoot a gun on set of Hawaii Five-O

He knows a thing or two about shooting guns on screen after starring in the likes of The Godfather and A Bridge Too far.

And James Caan appeared to be passing on some tips to his son Scott as they filmed scenes for his hit TV series Hawaii Five-O.

The pair looked like they were having an exciting time as they sprung into action on a marina in the sunny paradise island.

And James, 71, certainly seemed to be taking a leading role, as he was pictured shooting a revolver during an action scene.

Of course the veteran has plenty of useful experience to offer when it comes to toting a gun on screen.

As a young actor he was able to learn from watching gun-slinging legend John Wayne when they starred together 1966 western El Dorado.

He also starred as Sorentino 'Sonny' Corleone, son of mob boss Vito Coreone, played by Marlon Brando in the cult classic The Godfather.

It is unclear at the moment exactly what role the Thief star will be playing on the popular CBS show, though the fact he bears such a strong resemblance to his 35-year-old son means it is likely he will play the father of hotshot detective sergeant Danny Williams.

But it already seems he could be making more appearances, as executive producer Peter Lenkov has hinted his character could become a recurring role.

It was not just Scott, 35, who was picking up tips from his old man.

His co-star Alex O'Loughlin, who plays lieutenant commander Steven McGarrett, also seemed to be getting some martial arts training from the karate expert.

He is in good company though - the sixth dan Takayuki Kubota black belt has also gave classes in self defence to the real-life Culver City Police Department.

Jon Voight and Elliott Gould will join the cast of the drama pilot Ray Donovan, the Liev Schreiber starrer that’s in development for Showtime. It’s about a “professional trouble shooter” in Los Angeles named Ray (Schreiber) who’s replied upon to solve the complicated, confidential and controversial problems of the city’s elite.

Voight will play Ray’s father Mickey Donovan, a “newly freed ex-convict who heads to Los Angeles with suspicious intentions to reconnect with his estranged family.” Gould will portray a recurring guest star named Ezra Goodman, a senior partner at a law firm who also serves as Ray’s mentor and confidante.

The drama pilot is from Ann Biderman (Southland). Production is set to begin soon in Los Angeles.

"Ringer" FBI Agent Machado (Nestor Carbonell) isn't easily rattled -- but when Jonathan Banks joins the show in a potentially recurring role, beginning in April, he may have met his match.

Banks will play Tobias, a "weathered, sarcastic, confident" gentleman (we use that word lightly) who is accused of running an illegal operation. He's definitely got a dangerous side, though, and he's so good at what he does that he knows Agent Machado can't touch him.

Banks was nominated for an Emmy for his role as Frank McPike on "Wiseguy." These days, he's best known as go-to fixer Mike Ehrmantraut on "Breaking Bad."
