Adam admits that it's a list he made in Al-Anon of people he owes amends to, but he had lost it and didn't know where it was until Bonnie found it. Apparently, there's a lot of women (and quite a few of their husbands!) who Adam has wronged over the years. Bonnie urges Adam to start working through the list. After some serious hesitancy, Adam agrees to call the first person on the list - Ashley, a girl he dated in college. Apparently, he slept with someone she knew and then moved away and didn't give her his new phone number. (He also stole her "Super Tramp" album!) Unfortunately, he doesn't exactly get a running start to his amends journey - he finds out she's dead!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6SoSq8qr4M0/YYn3oi3ynZI/AAAAAAAAC58/dIIEBY6pwZAdfyIDy_CedO6arAC_0UhuwCLcBGAsYHQ/s550/review%2Bpic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="367" data-original-width="550" height="214" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6SoSq8qr4M0/YYn3oi3ynZI/AAAAAAAAC58/dIIEBY6pwZAdfyIDy_CedO6arAC_0UhuwCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/review%2Bpic.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div>At the bistro, Bonnie tells the girls Adam's taking Ashley's death hard, and Tammy admits she needs to hurry up and make her big amends - the steak house she robbed! (She hit them in a catsuit on "Cops Eat Free Night!")</div><div><br /></div><div>At home, Adam continues to not act right and Bonnie confronts him about still being upset. She can't understand why he'd be this torn-up over a girl he dated so long ago that Reagan was still president. Adam's not interested in talking though and tells her he wants to be alone, which of course doesn't sit too well with Bonnie and they get into a blow-up. Adam storms out and drives off in the RV. </div><div><br /></div><div>At the now not-an-Outback-Steakhouse (They don't offer the Bloomin Onion or "anything that infringes on its trademark" anymore!), Tammy introduces herself to the manager Lou. He remembers her (and the fact that the security footage of her crime "was a staple at the Christmas party for years!") She begins to make her amends, but is interrupted by a call from Bonnie, who's freaking out that Adam has runaway. Thankfully she's able to get her off the phone so she can hurry up and finish her amends to Lou (He's got sneeze guards to wipe down, after-all!)</div><div><br /></div><div>At the bar, Adam gets miserably drunk and gets mouthy with some of the patrons. When one of them decides to be a smart-ass and refers to him as "Chair,"...Adam decks him and gets himself arrested!</div><div><br /></div><div>Down at the police station, Marjorie arrives to bail Adam out. (She's so well known from all the times she's had to bail out her sponsees that the officer admits she should be getting the "friends and family discount" on bail by now!) Adam thanks Marjorie for coming, since he didn't want to call Bonnie. </div><div><br /></div><div>While Bonnie is at the bistro freaking out that neither Adam nor Marjorie are answering her calls, Marjorie takes Adam back to the RV, where she talks with him about what's been going on. Adam initially says he doesn't know why Ashley's death bothers him so much and Bonnie doesn't understand that. Marjorie pretty quickly susses out that's not all that's going on, and Adam finally admits that there was more to the story about how he wronged Ashley than what he told Bonnie. He didn't just sleep with someone Ashley knew...he slept with her mother...multiple times! And now he has no way to make amends for the horrible thing he did. Marjorie suggests Adam make living amends and be honest with Bonnie about what really happened.</div><div><br /></div><div>Adam finally tells Bonnie what happened, and says he didn't want to tell her because he was so ashamed that he was the reason Ashley and her mother stopped speaking. He admits he worried that Bonnie would look at him differently after finding out about the horrible thing he did. Bonnie assures him that she doesn't look at him any differently, and apologizes for being too hard on him.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jYYF_PMQHWY/YYn3zHkYq4I/AAAAAAAAC6A/dDQ0SK5kEgsNZa-pCQZ_8ZmBZaLORXECgCLcBGAsYHQ/s550/review%2Bpic%2B1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="367" data-original-width="550" height="214" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jYYF_PMQHWY/YYn3zHkYq4I/AAAAAAAAC6A/dDQ0SK5kEgsNZa-pCQZ_8ZmBZaLORXECgCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/review%2Bpic%2B1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div>Bonnie and Adam go to the mausoleum that Ashley's interred at, where they discover that she's actually buried right next to her mother, and Adam finally gets a chance to make his amends. </div><div><br /></div><div>Random Thoughts:</div><div>- Best lines go to Bonnie when reenacting her amends-in-song to the DMV lady - "I'm sorry I drove us off a bridge during my three-point turn, but I was tripping balls on acid!" and Lou, the cynical steakhouse manager - "If you really want to make a difference in the world, how about you and I go out into the parking lot, you hop in your car and run me over?" </div><div><br /></div><div>-I got a pretty big laugh when Tammy and the girls went back to eat at the steakhouse when Lou advised they stay away from the "surf" part of the "surf and turf" because the fish wasn't actually fish! </div><div><br /></div><div>Were you surprised to see Adam spin out? Did you enjoy seeing Tammy revisit the steakhouse? Let me know below!</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29964715.post-75986842118112733812021-10-26T12:15:00.001+01:002021-10-26T12:15:03.674+01:00Mom - Tiny Dancer and an Impromptu Picnic - Review: "Drunk Socialite Moons Wimbleton"<a name='more'></a><img class="headerimage" src="https://files.spoilertv.com/headers/mom.jpg" width="726px" /> On <i>Mom</i>, several of the ladies are faced with difficult problems to solve. While Bonnie steps up to the plate to protect an absent Christy's reputation, Jill deals with the aftermath of her hook-up with Rod. <script type="text/javascript">var authorcode='KP';</script><div><br /></div><div>Bonnie's weekly plans for her and Adam's "Naked Picnic Monday" (Yep, that's a thing they do!) are interrupted when a worried Adam comes home and tells her she needs to see something he's found. He drives her out to a deserted highway and points to a billboard ad from "Mr. Naughty's Strip Club." Lit up for all of Route 29 to see is...a circa 1998 stripper Christy!</div><div><br /></div><div>A horrified Bonnie takes the rest of the girls out to the billboard and swears them to secrecy. She says Christy has "come too far for her hu-ha to be a roadside attraction" and she resolves she's going to find a way to get the advertisement down before Christy is any the wiser. Adam, meanwhile, is bothered to realize that "every woman he's ever checked out is somebody's daughter." Yeah, I suppose seeing your own kid on a stripper billboard will probably do that!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-O5ahg4cXfPo/YXfczadljfI/AAAAAAAAC4s/js-KmTAx0JwNUhsWgErRbzBQvkmgI56dQCLcBGAsYHQ/s250/review%2Bpic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="163" data-original-width="250" height="163" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-O5ahg4cXfPo/YXfczadljfI/AAAAAAAAC4s/js-KmTAx0JwNUhsWgErRbzBQvkmgI56dQCLcBGAsYHQ/s0/review%2Bpic.jpg" width="250" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>Meanwhile, Jill isn't happy to find that Rod's avoiding her after their tryst. When Rod and Adam discuss Rod's hook-up with Jill, Adam tells him Jill probably doesn't see him not calling as the nice gesture Rod seems to think it is. Rod decides to invite Jill down to AJ's to talk.</div><div><br /></div><div>A determined Bonnie, after being unable to reach the strip club on the phone, makes a trip down to Mr. Naughty's to plead her case in person. And despite the current manager actually remembering Christy (He was the DJ when she was there), he says the sign won't come down. Apparently, "people like the vintage, reminds them of the simpler time." So, Bonnie refuses to leave until the billboard comes down...and the manager has security carry her out kicking and screaming. </div><div><br /></div><div>A desperate Bonnie goes over to Tammy and Marjorie's to enlist Tammy's help in painting over the billboard. As they're packing up the paint rollers, Marjorie returns from walking one of the cats (He's pre-diabetic, in case you're wondering!) Marjorie tells Bonnie she needs to go to a meeting before she does anything stupid and ends up getting herself (and Tammy) thrown in jail.</div><div><br /></div><div>While Marjorie, Tammy, and a reluctant Bonnie head off to a meeting, Rod meets Jill at AJ's (where a still freaked-out Adam is mulling through various ways he can make the bar safer for women!). Rod apologizes for ghosting her, and Jill eventually accepts. Jill says she's not the kind of person who usually hook-ups with someone in a vacant apartment. Rod says that's exactly the kind of person he is, but then he usually leaves town to never see the woman again. Except now, he's stuck in town and stuck seeing Jill on the regular. He admits he didn't think their fling through. The two decide to reset and try being friends...until they get to the car and start making out!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-75da4MJ_0uE/YXfc5aoMKsI/AAAAAAAAC4w/-qB4yXXRm_0jTsjyW2EaGGna-JuLcc8CgCLcBGAsYHQ/s990/review%2Bpic%2B1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="660" data-original-width="990" height="213" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-75da4MJ_0uE/YXfc5aoMKsI/AAAAAAAAC4w/-qB4yXXRm_0jTsjyW2EaGGna-JuLcc8CgCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/review%2Bpic%2B1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>At the meeting, Bonnie begins to share and quickly comes to the realization that her plan to vandalize the billboard has nothing to do with her being an alcoholic and everything to do with her being a mom. She runs out to do what she intended, leaving a worried Marjorie and Tammy chasing behind her. </div><div><br /></div><div>Marjorie and Tammy hitch a ride with Wendy (who's excited to finally have a reason to use the siren that came on the car she bought off a fireman!) They call Jill for back-up and unintentionally interrupt her and Rod's little interlude. </div><div><br /></div><div>The ladies meet on the side of the highway, where they find Bonnie scaling the side of the billboard, paintbrush in hand. Marjorie urges her to come down, but Bonnie counters that if it were her son Jerry up there, she'd be doing the exact same thing. Marjorie can't argue that point, and soon enough, all the girls are up on the side of the billboard, painting over the jumbo-sized Christy!</div><div><br /></div><div>Random Thoughts:</div><div>-Marjorie's cat just flat-out laying down and refusing to move for his walk was hilarious. I feel ya Foz!</div><div><br /></div><div>-Tammy's been on <i>Cops</i>? I want to see that episode!</div><div><br /></div><div>-The best line goes to Bonnie when she sees the billboard, "It's some poor stripper looking confused and... oh my god that's my daughter!"</div><div><br /></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29964715.post-54863592129394760602021-10-19T05:00:00.005+01:002021-10-19T05:00:04.038+01:00Mom - Strutting Peacock and Father O'Leary - Review: "Shivved, Shivved...Parole"<a name='more'></a><img class="headerimage" src="https://files.spoilertv.com/headers/mom.jpg" width="726px" />Worlds collide on <i>Mom</i>, as Bonnie's husband and Bonnie's sponsee meet and become...friends? <script type="text/javascript">var authorcode='KP';</script><div><br /></div><div>No, really, Adam and Rod are now besties. AA and Al-Anon hold a joint meeting with Bonnie and Adam as the speakers. Adam's share is a hit with the audience (thereby making Bonnie a little jealous) and in the process, he hits it off with Bonnie's rock-star sponsee Rod. Bonnie's not sure what to make of the new friendship, and although Marjorie and the other girls assure her that it's okay for Rod to have other sources of inspiration in his sobriety journey, Bonnie isn't too thrilled about the idea! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6qI_E6QqYHs/YW49L9pXOjI/AAAAAAAAC3o/y6tbJojVAXMtz5gJH8RK9pc8GLdf3DSSACLcBGAsYHQ/s289/review%2Bpic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="175" data-original-width="289" height="175" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6qI_E6QqYHs/YW49L9pXOjI/AAAAAAAAC3o/y6tbJojVAXMtz5gJH8RK9pc8GLdf3DSSACLcBGAsYHQ/s0/review%2Bpic.jpg" width="289" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>When Rod comes over to give Adam a guitar lesson, the two continue to connect, and Rod admits to Adam that between his father leaving when he was a kid, and his own near-constant chasing of women to hook up with, he's never really had a stable male friend. When Bonnie arrives, Rod quickly admits to her that he thinks he'd do better with a male sponsor, making a hasty exit before she can comment. </div><div><br /></div><div>Bonnie, of course, blames Adam for Rod wanting a new sponsor, even though Adam argues that Rod's just finally realized he needs a sponsor who he's not unconsciously trying to sleep with. At the bistro later, Bonnie angrily tells the girls that Rod wants a new sponsor. Marjorie urges her to realize Rod wanting a new sponsor isn't a big deal and that she shouldn't make it about herself. Bonnie should want what's best for Rod, Marjorie says. Bonnie realizes that as uncomfortable as it makes her, Marjorie's right, Rod will do better with a male sponsor. </div><div><br /></div><div>Meanwhile, Jill and Rod find themselves continually trading angry barbs - at meetings, at the fancy clothing store that they both frequent, and even in front of Bonnie and Adam's apartment, where the two end up rapidly trading insults. It's then that Rod realizes that's he's doing what he always does, and showing off for any woman he meets. Jill compliments him for realizing his fault and finally acting like an actual human being...and then they lock lips. (Who else saw that coming?)</div><div><br /></div><div>Meanwhile, Bonnie takes a couple of potential renters across the courtyard to see a new apartment, and walks in on Jill and Rod, who have decided to make use of the vacant apartment for a quick hookup!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xvUdkpXK-eU/YW49SW11xDI/AAAAAAAAC3s/XSKjKic-0GMVC2F7KajUsbC6NFQJ5mtwACLcBGAsYHQ/s550/review%2Bpic%2B1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="367" data-original-width="550" height="214" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xvUdkpXK-eU/YW49SW11xDI/AAAAAAAAC3s/XSKjKic-0GMVC2F7KajUsbC6NFQJ5mtwACLcBGAsYHQ/s320/review%2Bpic%2B1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>At an AA meeting later, Jill and Tammy eagerly gossip about Jill and Rod's hookup, while Bonnie temporarily redirects Rod to Marjorie for some much-needed advice about his relationship with Jill! </div><div><br /></div><div>Random Thoughts:</div><div>-The best line goes to Bonnie, after discovering Rod and Jill - ""Whoopsie, it looks like the painters are taking a break..."</div><div><br /></div><div>Were you surprised to see Rod again? Everyone but Marjorie is scared of the needle (I don't blame them, I would probably be out the door!) Ironically, Marjorie is the only one who isn't able to give blood, because she's just started taking blood thinners. While waiting, the girls see something that definitely takes their mind off the fear of the needle - Wendy kissing her secret doctor boyfriend! </div><div><br /></div><div>At a meeting later, the ladies immediately descend on Wendy to interrogate her about her boyfriend. She says she didn't tell them about him because she knew they'd make fun of her, which of course, they do! While everyone's taking turns making medical-themed innuendo jokes about Wendy's new relationship, Marjorie gets a surprising text. It's Gary, her long-distance boyfriend, who, in keeping with his serious jack-ass nature, breaks up with her over text. Devastated, Marjorie steps outside for a moment alone. Unfortunately, she accidentally falls while looking down at her phone and hurts her wrist.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OaDklku-IfU/YTCC7K19R7I/AAAAAAAAC14/sU78a2dRWDA9sjIm-Xj3NCaehcIt0XfgACLcBGAsYHQ/s375/review%2Bpic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="375" data-original-width="250" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OaDklku-IfU/YTCC7K19R7I/AAAAAAAAC14/sU78a2dRWDA9sjIm-Xj3NCaehcIt0XfgACLcBGAsYHQ/s320/review%2Bpic.jpg" width="213" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>At the ER, Bonnie, Jill, and Tammy wait for news on Marjorie while Wendy takes her back for treatment. Still wanting to know more about Wendy's mystery man, Jill calls a friend whose husband works in the same department of the hospital to glean more information. The information she finds out definitely isn't what any of them were expecting though. Wendy's doctor boyfriend is married.</div><div><br /></div><div>They debate who should have to tell Wendy and agree they'll make Marjorie do it (assuming she doesn't die from "wrist-related complications"). After the ladies accompany a now-casted-up Marjorie home, Tammy, Jill, and Bonnie all have a hard time acting normal around Wendy. Since they still haven't gotten the chance to tell Marjorie alone, Jill bites the bullet and breaks the news to Wendy, who...already knows?!?!</div><div><br /></div><div>Really, Wendy's apparently known the whole time and has decided she's fine with it. The girls all urge her to reconsider and think about the consequences of her choice. When Marjorie declines to take the lead and give her usual lecture about sobriety and good choices, Bonnie jumps in and tells Wendy she needs to think about the wife and how much their affair is going to end up hurting her. Wendy accuses Bonnie of not wanting to see her happy and storms off. </div><div><br /></div><div>Later, Adam takes Bonnie out for a fancy Valentine's dinner, where the two run into Jill, who's picking up takeout from a reservation she made back when she and Andy were still together. They invite her to join them. Right after sitting down, Jill gets a call from Tammy, who's stuck at home attempting to counsel a seriously spiraling Marjorie. (She's talking about giving away her cats!) Knowing they need to find a way to bring her out of her depression, Bonnie tells Tammy to come and bring Marjorie to the restaurant. </div><div><br /></div><div>As the ladies (plus Adam, who's been inducted as an honorary "one of the gals") sit down for a fancy meal, Bonnie decides she needs to put her feelings aside and call Wendy to join them. This works out well, as Wendy's boyfriend is spending Valentine's with his wife. Bonnie tells Wendy that although she disagrees with what she's doing, she's happy she's there with them all. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-odj35xXAaCg/YTCDyitiFzI/AAAAAAAAC2A/IQ_Ejf9rRjUFfq5WN8PRL2uG54U_rPnIQCLcBGAsYHQ/s375/review%2Bpic%2B1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="375" data-original-width="250" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-odj35xXAaCg/YTCDyitiFzI/AAAAAAAAC2A/IQ_Ejf9rRjUFfq5WN8PRL2uG54U_rPnIQCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/review%2Bpic%2B1.jpg" width="213" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>At a meeting later, a much happier Marjorie tells everyone she's scored a date with the man selling cantaloupe at the farmer's market, while Wendy privately admits to Bonnie that she and her boyfriend broke up. There are interesting results...all-a-round. <script type="text/javascript">var authorcode='KP';</script><div><br /></div><div>At her session with Trevor, Bonnie complains that Adam should have more of a variety of non-alcoholic drinks on the bar menu, so Trevor encourages her to try and come up with some creations. And shockingly, Bonnie's not too bad at concocting mocktails (I guess all those years of downing cocktails left her with some skill!) Except for her Thanksgiving-themed "Wishbone" creation, Adam and Tammy are seriously impressed and excited to start putting things on the menu!</div><div><br /></div><div>Down at the juice bar, Trevor and Jill run into each other and flirt over...allergies and Kleenex. It's obvious that the two like each other, which is what Trevor tells his therapist, who lays down the law about it being unethical to date a patient's friend. As pissed off as Trevor is about Bonnie continually "ruining his life," he swears he has no plans to take things any further with Jill. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YmZ2CEJ8gt0/YR-AWISOVxI/AAAAAAAAC0o/poqWbhtDsL43G5QlG5NfnycVHWA31167ACLcBGAsYHQ/s285/review%2Bpic.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="190" data-original-width="285" height="190" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YmZ2CEJ8gt0/YR-AWISOVxI/AAAAAAAAC0o/poqWbhtDsL43G5QlG5NfnycVHWA31167ACLcBGAsYHQ/s0/review%2Bpic.jpg" width="285" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>Unfortunately for Trevor, Jill <i>does </i>have plans! Even though Marjorie advises her against it, Jill <i>coincidentally </i>runs into Trevor at the juice bar again. Trevor holds his own though (or more accurately, runs away saying he forgot his wallet!)</div><div><br /></div><div>At AJ's, the ladies enjoy mocktails and Jill confesses to Marjorie that she engineered another meeting between her and Trevor. Although Marjorie continually tells her she needs to leave it alone for the benefit of her friendship with Bonnie, Jill still ends up laying it out to Bonnie that's she angry she can't date Trevor. And surprisingly enough, Bonnie gives her the go-ahead, saying she didn't realize how much Jill liked him, and she doesn't want to prevent her from being happy! (Maybe it's the mocktail buzz!)</div><div><br /></div><div>At home, Bonnie finds herself reconsidering what she told Jill. In fact, she tells Adam she's downright angry herself that Jill wants to date Trevor. Adam urges Bonnie to do the rational thing and call Jill and work it out. Bonnie, being Bonnie, decides to go make more mocktails and stew over her feelings, which leads her to another disturbing revelation. Even though the mocktails are non-alcoholic, she's starting to replicate her drinking days by drowning her sorrows alone!</div><div><br /></div><div>Jill, meanwhile, plows full speed ahead and shows up at Trevor's door, kale smoothie with "Lady Boost" in hand. Trevor's forced to finally lay out the truth to Jill - even though he likes her, he can't ethically date her. Jill's not used to taking no for an answer though, which Trevor quickly picks up on and questions why she's so persistent by asking more about her previous relationships. Jill admits her relationships usually start great and end in disaster. Trevor suggests this might have something to do with a broken relationship with one of her parents, which leads Jill to admit that her father hasn't wanted anything to do with her since her mother committed suicide. And just like that, Jill starts to realize she might have some issues of her own that are impacting her dating relationships.</div><div><br /></div><div>At AJ's, Bonnie and Jill reconcile when Jill admits she and Trevor aren't happening. Bonnie herself admits to Jill that she's realized mocktails might be becoming her gateway drug to eventually losing her sobriety. Jill (and later Trevor) encourage her to do whatever she needs to keep healthy, even if that means sticking to nothing but club soda!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-o3HUMdIkvF8/YR-Acz9A4NI/AAAAAAAAC0s/8kjOnBimzPwY-IR8MUrOabxXRPSxwUXBwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1200/review%2Bpic%2B2.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="1200" height="213" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-o3HUMdIkvF8/YR-Acz9A4NI/AAAAAAAAC0s/8kjOnBimzPwY-IR8MUrOabxXRPSxwUXBwCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/review%2Bpic%2B2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>Random Thoughts:</div><div>-I agree with Bonnie, Dolly Parton is a national treasure!</div><div><br /></div><div>-The best line goes to Trevor when talking to Bonnie about her negative feelings toward Adam for not having enough non-alcoholic beverages on the menu - "Evil Knievel couldn't make the leap you just did."</div><div><br /></div><div>Were you surprised that Trevor ended up turning down Jill? <div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>
In order to make the contest polls more manageable, I don’t like to have more than 5-6 choices in the final polls. However, sometimes the votes don’t break that way. Hence, tie-breaker polls. With some popular shows like Brooklyn 99 and Schitt’s Creek not being eligible this year, we ended up with 5 actors tying for fifth place in the Favorite Comedy Actor category. We also had far fewer nominations in the “Least Favorite” categories, so the threshold to get into the contest was much lower, making it easier to tie. <div><br /></div><div>Note - these are just the actors/shows that are tied for 5th place. There are other shows that are already in these categories. </div><div><br /></div><div><b>Because these polls are tie-breakers, they will only be open for a little less than 24 hours.

On this's week<i> Mom</i>, Bonnie's therapist Trevor is back to help her finally face her empty-nester feelings!<div><br /></div><div>Bonnie's finally decided to do something with Christy's old room. After her paper-mache hobby blows up in her face (quite literally!), she settles on turning the room into a driftwood furniture workshop! After crafting her first "masterpiece," Bonnie recruits Jill to help haul the driftwood table to Trevor's office, where she presents the reluctant gift-ee with his present! And then something strange happens, Trevor and Jill start flirting! And instead of using their therapy session to let Trevor help her explore the reason behind her constantly shifting interests, Bonnie insists on confronting him about what she saw between him and Jill. Try as he might, Trevor isn't able to put on a very convincing act in regards to not being interested in Jill. So, Bonnie makes it clear to Jill that Trevor is OFF-LIMITS. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3yP1UzLNN8Y/YK29ISpH44I/AAAAAAAACxc/4z6gFStPW2c_wS-6gASUsQQ0VQ60Ez8EQCLcBGAsYHQ/s275/review%2Bpic%2B1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="183" data-original-width="275" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3yP1UzLNN8Y/YK29ISpH44I/AAAAAAAACxc/4z6gFStPW2c_wS-6gASUsQQ0VQ60Ez8EQCLcBGAsYHQ/s0/review%2Bpic%2B1.jpg" /></a></div></div><div><br /></div><div>Meanwhile, Tammy's having difficulty dealing with Marjorie's need to control everything and everyone, so she turns to the expert on living with a difficult person - Adam! He advises she accompany him to his Al-Anon meeting to get some pointers on "living with a lunatic." To her surprise, the Al-Anon group is able to give her some tips about dealing with someone who's spinning out, namely about when to set boundaries and walk away aka "detaching with love."</div><div><br /></div><div>While prepping for an AA meeting, later on, Tammy takes the advice she was given and removes herself from the situation (aka ignores her) after Marjorie chides her for using the wrong coffee-maker. Back at the house, Tammy continues to remove herself from potential arguments, and Marjorie finally catches on. Tammy tells her about going to Al-Anon and the difficulties of living with someone who constantly corrects her and tells her how to do everything. Marjorie tells Tammy she didn't realize how unhappy she was, and then, Marjorie being Marjorie, she tells her she's doing the Al-Anon program incorrectly! </div><div><br /></div><div>At her next appointment, Trevor suggests that the reason Bonnie's having so much trouble deciding what to do with Christy's old room might have to do with Christy herself. As long the room stays the way Christy left it, Bonnie can still believe she might be coming back, but if Bonnie changes the room, she'll have to accept Christy might never be coming back. Trevor gives Bonnie a homework assignment to do before their next session - clean out everything left in Christy's room. Recruiting Tammy for help, Bonnie gets to work. </div><div><br /></div><div>Unfortunately, what starts a simple decluttering project turns into a full-on meltdown for Bonnie. She's throwing things around the room, on the floor, and even out the window! (A pillow and blanket she throws out the window end up hitting quite the unlucky target - Adam!) Tammy's ready to bail, but Adam insists on her helping him get his wheelchair upstairs so he can hopefully talk a now-screaming Bonnie off the proverbial ledge. </div><div><br /></div><div>Upstairs, Adam finds Bonnie sobbing in the closet about Christy "abandoning her" and "thriving without her." She admits that Trevor was right, she didn't want to change Christy's room because she wanted to think Christy would be coming back. Adam suggests that maybe Christy is thriving <i>because of</i> Bonnie, and tells her it's okay to break down about missing her.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gQUqx7bO0Iw/YK2-IhF4_bI/AAAAAAAACxk/fRI97xN9iBoN_tg1esgQMb4pf8fiV6REACLcBGAsYHQ/s275/review%2Bpic%2B2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="275" data-original-width="183" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gQUqx7bO0Iw/YK2-IhF4_bI/AAAAAAAACxk/fRI97xN9iBoN_tg1esgQMb4pf8fiV6REACLcBGAsYHQ/s0/review%2Bpic%2B2.jpg" /></a></div><br /> </div><div>Back at Marjorie's, inspired by seeing Adam go to Bonnie's aid, Tammy apologizes for constantly ignoring Marjorie's requests in an attempt to set boundaries. Marjorie apologizes for her own annoying habits and the two happily make up. </div><div><br /></div><div>Last, of all, Jill decides to show up on the doorstep of the forbidden fruit himself - Trevor! Bonnie's definitely not going to be happy. about this... </div><div><br /></div><div>Random Thoughts:</div><div>-The best line goes to Adam while comforting Bonnie during her breakdown in Christy's old room - "Am I crazy or could we fit a ping-pong table in here?" </div><div><br /></div><div>-Bonnie the Palm Reader - now that has an interesting ring to it! </div><div><br /></div><div>Were you surprised by Bonnie's breakdown? Do you think Jill will continue to pursue Trevor? Let me know below! </div>

About the Daily Ratings</div>
<br />
Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC).
Cable Network ratings will be added to the <a href="https://www.stvplus.com">Ratings Database</a>. The Ratings Post is made available around 30 minutes before the normal
release of the Early Overnight Preliminary Ratings so give people a chance for a quick chat in the comments beforehand should they wish to do so.
<br /><br />
Normally between 4pm-5pm GMT we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above. Finally, later in the evening (9pm-10pm GMT) or the
following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the <a href="https://stvplus.com/ratings">Ratings Database</a> as well as the above
tables.
<br /><br />
The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc . Friday's Final Adjusted Ratings are normally
available on the following Monday (9pm GMT), whilst Sunday's will be available on Tuesdays (3pm GMT).
