TNT has cancelled Good Behavior after 2 seasons per series creator Chad Hodge.

Good Behavior told the story of Letty Dobesh (Michelle Dockery), a thief and con artist whose life is always one wrong turn, or one bad decision from implosion - which is exactly how she likes it. Fresh out of prison, Letty tries to stay afloat; reunite with her 10-year-old son, who is currently being raised by her mother Estelle (Lusia Strus); and regularly see her substance-abuse counselor, Christian (Terry Kinney), whose motives for helping her are questionable. Chaos returns to Letty's life when she overhears a hitman (Juan Diego Botto) being hired to kill a man's wife, and sets out to derail the job. She soon finds herself on a collision course with the killer, entangling both of them in a dangerously captivating relationship.
I’ve always said I could write about Letty and Javier for 500 episodes. Their relationship and place in the world live on the edge of something unique and beautiful and I’m more proud of creating their story than anything in my TV career thus far. The experience of making Good Behavior was also the best of my career. Collaborating with Michelle Dockery, Juan Diego Botto and the entire cast… with pilot director Charlotte Sieling, producing director Mikkel Nørgaard, and all the episodic directors… with Blake Crouch and the writers… with my producing partners Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements… with our kick-ass creative team and crew… we were one family making this show and it was better because of every person who donated their creative lifeblood. You can see it on display in every episode currently streaming on Hulu. To our fans… our incredible fans around the world: THANK YOU. Thank you for loving what we made, for the letters and DMs and gifts, for the love. If I could keep writing the story of Letty and Javier for you I would. The last episode of S2 is not the ending. Actually I did write a bonus scene for you that would have been in Season 3… swipe left and you’ll see. So just know that Letty and Javier are out there somewhere… living their best lives (eh probably not lol). But they are alive. Their story continues. Though for now, as Letty would say… BYE. #GoodBehavior

A post shared by Chad Hodge (@chadhodge) on Nov 6, 2018 at 12:04pm PST

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29964715.post-10871073198851161142018-05-16T19:03:00.000+01:002018-05-16T19:03:02.523+01:00Good Behavior - TNT Eying Final Chapter

Five months after Season 2 of Good Behavior ended its run on TNT, “we haven’t made a final decision” about the series’ future, Reilly said.

I don’t see multiple more seasons of it but there could be a way to cap that off for the audience that really loved it. Right now it’s not in the planning stages, but we have talked to the producers. If I can get the real estate and the cash flow going to cap it off properly we’d figure it out.”

Asked by Deadline whether that capping off the series means a movie or a final season, Reilly said, “unclear,” adding that, while there are no immediate plans, the idea is “to properly bring it to a conclusion.”
This final round of 2017 POTM voting has provided two very worthy winners. They have each been nominated many times before but were never able to get the voting support necessary to secure their wins. That all changed this month when they both shook up their respective fields to start off strong and lead all the way to the end.

The actor category was full of many exceptional and powerhouse performers. Whoever was going to win had to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds. It’s fitting that the winner portrays a character who has repeatedly defied the odds. Agents of SHIELD’s Iain De Caestecker (Leo Fitz) has been nominated many times before but has never been able to overcome the other actors with much larger voting fandoms. But that all changed this month when the voters showed up in droves to support him allowing him to take the lead early on and hold it for the whole week. He trailed a bit at first, but through slow but steady voting he took the lead within the first hours of the competition and held the lead. Outlander’s David Berry provided some stiff competition constantly threatening to overtake the lead, but he was never ever able to overtake him. The actor category was such a strong group that almost anyone who won would have been a worthy winner. De Caestecker has been a steadily reliable performer who continues to deliver some truly exceptional performances week after week. Even though he’s only been in a couple episodes so far this season he’s made the most of them and delivered some intense performances. He almost single-handedly shouldered the weight of an entire episode and his performance was just as perfectly executed as always. He’s a gifted performer deserving of the title of December’s Most Outstanding Actor.
The actress category was just as competitive. The actresses in this category represent the best of the best. Each of them delivered truly exceptional performances on their respective shows. Out of the gate, Rachel Nichols from The Librarians and Rachel Brosnahan from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel fought for the lead. That is until the ultimate winner quaked into the lead and went on to hold it all the way to the end. Agents of SHIELD’s Chloe Bennet (Daisy Johnson/Quake) took the lead within the first day and held it all the way to the end. She held off Outlander’s Caitriona Balfe who was right on her heels all week, but who trailed off at the end as Bennet surged ahead. Bennet was relatively unknown when she took on the part of Skye, but she proceeded to carve out a name for herself through hard work and one incredible performance after another. She has taken her character on one of the most complex transformative journeys of almost any character on television. Yet, through it all, Bennet has ensured that a part of Skye lives on inside of Daisy. As the character has risen to become more of a leader and warrior Bennet has been given so much to work with and she has done proud by her show always delivering topnotch performances that go above and beyond expectations. She is a very worthy winner to carry the title of December’s Most Outstanding Actress.
Justyna: This was probably my favorite episode of this great season. A perfect Christmas gift for the viewers. The hour of only Fitz and Hunter (!) was exactly what the show needed this week. I could honestly choose any of the scenes with these two, because they are definitely one of my all-time favorite duos from the series and their interactions were pretty much perfect. Since the other two of my choices for SOTW are already included in the article, let me go with the initial reunion. The Spy's Goodbye seems like forever ago and Hunter (+ Bobbi) was greatly missed in the last couple of seasons. The fact that he showed up just when his friend needed help the most speaks volumes about their friendship. I love their hilarious argument and then the long hug. They genuinely missed one another and it was clear that even under these circumstances, it meant a lot to be finally reunited. I very much hope that this is not the last time we see Lance Hunter on Agents of SHIELD but I'm very grateful for this hour of the meaningful and most memorable interactions between two of my favorites in this episode. Kudos to cast & crew for this fantastic "Rewind"!
Beth: Fitz and Hunter at the Lighthouse discussing the Framework. This scene was so important to me because Hunter was not there and knows him without AIDA and seeing how he was in the Framework. As much as his team could tell him last season that it wasn't really him, they saw what Fitz did and it pained him to know they saw all that darkness beneath. Hunter saw a glimpse, but was able to see that the light and not the shadow is who Fitz is, and tell him as much. He also knocked some sense into Fitz to ask Robin why he wasn't on the list and it was not the answer Fitz was trying to convince himself of.
Klutzy girl: The Han/Leia callback with Hunter and Fitz right before the latter is about to be sent to the future. I didn't expect it but the "I love you." "I know" scene was perfect.
Samantha: Letty hallucinates seeing Patrick in the car as Javier is quizzed by a police officer. I could've probably chosen any of these hallucinations or the beginning of the episode because it was all so well acted, but I honestly think this one was the best as Patrick comes at Letty with cold hard truths. Letty doesn't like that Patrick now sounds like a douche, and he makes some comments about his wife that are somewhat amusing but disturbing when you consider he was just a hallucination and Letty was probably thinking those things to make herself feel better about accidentally killing him. Then Patrick taunts Letty over the fact she blames her mum and Shawn for every bad thing that's happened to her, and tells Letty to admit that she's the one who drags everyone down. Michelle Dockery plays Letty's confusion & guilt over the situation absolutely perfectly.
Marko: Javier talks Letty into trusting him.

KEVIN CAN WAIT, "The Might've Before Christmas", December 18, 2017, Actors: Kevin James, Leah Remini, The Scene: Kevin remembers his first Christmas with Vanessa
Claire: The Christmas episode, Kevin remembers his first Christmas with Vanessa when she is sure that he doesn’t. He gives her a sweet card about that night. I felt they might be setting up a romance for the two. James and Remini are great together.
W. Bailey, Tony Denison and more, The Scene: The Doctor reveals that Sharon died
Samantha: I don't watch Major Crimes (my mum does) so I had no idea about Sharon's health issues, and even though it is the last season I was not expecting her to be killed off and especially not before the finale. When the Dr revealed the news I was devastated for the characters and admittedly a little teary, because it was so heartbreaking. Sharon has been their leader for 6 years, and was of course on 'The Closer' before this, and viewers will have watched her turn from an antagonist to a protagonist, and most importantly someone that they can love dearly.
Milo: Ending Montage. Seeing the Shelby family united with Jessie Eden brought into the fold was a fantastic way to end an excellent season. The Laura Marling cover of Bob Dylan's "A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall" was excellent, and really worked well as the montage that showed Tommy moving into new and uncharted waters as an MP was excellent, a perfect way to put the show in a fantastic direction for Season 5.
Marko: Alfie vs Tommy stand off.
Samantha: This was a jaw dropping moment in an otherwise lacklustre episode, and full credit lies with the actors Ever Carradine, Gregg Sulkin and James Marsters. Throughout the episode tension was building as cracks began to show in the 'new' Victor, and those cracks burst to life in the garage scene. I really felt for Chase as he was annoyed with himself for believing that Victor had indeed changed, and was ready to be a normal parent. When he reached his breaking point and lashed out at Victor, I felt terrified for him because you knew no amount of apologies was going to save him from his father's wrath. Using the fistigons on Chase was a low blow, especially after the earlier warning from future Chase and Victor was completely unrepentant as Chase laid on the ground basically pleading for his life. I knew Chase wouldn't be killed off, but I seriously did not expect Janet to shoot Victor in order to save her son. The terror and horror in her eyes at the scene that'd greeted her, and how much of a low blow it must've been after sticking by Victor and dismissing Robert's concerns. Also picked by Marko
Milo: Janet shoots Victor to save Chase. What an ending - one of the weakest episodes of the season was salvaged almost single-handedly by a fantastic finale that really could potentially prove to be a massive game-changer for the series. Full of tense moments that made the most out of James Masters' character - please don't make this be the last we see of him.

SHAMELESS, "Occupy Fiona", December 17, 2017, Actors: Jeremy Allen White, Alan Rosenberg
The Scene: Lip visits Youens in jail

THE LIBRARIANS, "And the Christmas Thief", December 20, 2017, Actors: John Harlan Kim, Gia Carides, The Scene: Ezekiel tells his mother why he steals
Klutzy girl: Ezekiel reveals to his mother that he steals not out of selfishness, but to help people. It was a fantastic insight into his character and made me love him even more.
Justyna: Finally! I really enjoyed the episode and there's a number of scenes to highlight (shout-out to Mack's emotional confession) but as soon as Fitz turned up at the end, that's all I could remember from the hour. I must have missed the character way more than I realized. Even though I knew it was coming, I was still so glad to get Fitz back in those last few seconds. I'm very excited to learn the story behind his arrival. Not only was he able to figure out where the team went, travelled to the future after them but he also managed to arrive as a guest of Kasius, not trapped in the Lighthouse like everyone else. Of course, there's also a matter of his plan. His suggestion to have Daisy fight to the death makes this quite an entrance. Welcome back, Fitz and Iain De Caestecker! Can't wait to see more of his side of the story.
Beth: Fitz turns up at the end and suggests Daisy fight to the death. Fans like myself have been waiting with bated breath for any crumb of information about where Fitz is, and he showed up in such an epic way. The moment he took that helmet off and Daisy had that look on her face, I gasped! Finally, a fan favorite is back in the fold and that last bit of magic missing has returned.
Justyna: While I always had an impression that this show gets better with each season, it's never been more true than this year. Brooklyn Nine-Nine delivered so many of their best episodes in season five that it should be no surprise that 100th episode was pretty much perfect. Rosa's emotional story throughout "Game Night" was done in such a beautiful and heartfelt way. Stephanie Beatriz was absolutely amazing in every single scene and the balance between Rosa's strength and vulnerability was exactly right during this important milestone. What felt especially meaningful for me was the fact that Jake (and then the rest of the squad) was there by her side on every step of the way. That's what friends and family should always be. The people who show up and support you when you need it the most. That's exactly what made choosing this ending scene incredibly easy. When Rosa's parents call off their game night, not able to embrace who she truly is, her other family shows up at her apartment and promises to be there for the game night every week. It's hard not to love these guys and the scene. Though Rosa and her father share a meaningful moment earlier, it's Captain Holt's short speech and embrace that help lift Rosa's spirits and confirm how right she was when she decided to open up to her family. In case you're still not watching the show, I highly recommend it once again and I can't think of a better moment to catch up. It's one of the best series on TV right now and not just in terms of comedy. Kudos to the wonderful cast & crew for all their great work!
Laura: The squad brings Game Night to Rosa’s after her parents refused to accept her bisexuality and called off her game night with them indefinitely. Also picked by Saloni
Marko: This scene made me laugh, made me cry, this scene made everything worth it. The day we come to this world we get a family and if we are lucky it is a great one. Rosa wasn't that lucky but she is awesome enough to have earned a family of amazing friends to be by her side. The team coming to Rosa's side and help do game night with her was simply everything.
Beth: Holt talks to Rosa. This scene is the essence of why I love this show and this squad. These moments just make you happy to be a fan of this phenomenal and underrated gem.
Patrycja: Jake's speech about what Rosa should say to her parents after she tells him she hasn’t told her parents yet.
K. Simmons, The Scene: Howard gets to know Howard
Kollin: The series premiere of Counterpart was a solid kickoff to this espionage, sci-fi thriller, in large part due to J.K. Simmons' superb acting. The moment where the two Howards get to know each other was full of such subtle humour and nuance as they ponder about the what-ifs, lost love, and their own identities. J.K. Simmons did a wonderful job in portraying the self-assured Howard on one spectrum, and the more timid Howard, on the other. Both of them playing so well off each other.
Samantha: This was a development I really didn't see coming. From the moment Teo announced his presence and Javier realised from the text something was wrong, I expected him to make it on time and save the day. But he didn't. Instead it was left to Letty to do something she never wanted to do, and not once, but twice. Killing the security guard was so accidental and her horror at realising what she'd done and begging him not to die was heartbreaking. Michelle Dockery is an outstanding actress, and over the show's 2 seasons, she has added so many different layers to Letty. Also picked by Laura B
Justyna: I absolutely love the relationship and dynamics between these two. With each moment like this one, when Riggs shares one of the darkest memories of his life with Roger, his partner understands him a little better and it feels like an important progress in their story. There's so much sadness and tragedy surrounding Martin's life but it seems that knowing Murtaugh brought back some of the light to it as well. The fact that Riggs admitted that he didn't want to die today at one point and then Roger asks his friend to promise to see him soon when they're both at risk of getting shot later in the episode, it all shows the good influence and support they have for each other. Clayne Crawford is always fantastic in all of these emotional scenes and in this one Riggs is barely able to keep eye contact and not let his voice break down when it comes to sharing the painful truth. The interactions between the two main actors continue to be brilliant. And the fact that this show keeps an impressive balance between the comedy, action and the drama is just one of the reasons why it works so well. Kudos to cast & crew for another great episode!
Diana: Marcus' identity is revealed at the end of the episode. Lucifer realizes Pierce may not be human after all, so he stabs him to death - his body lies on the ground for some seconds, before Marcus wakes up with no wounds. Later, Marcus reveals to Lucifer that his real name is Cain indeed! This show keeps me surprised week by week. I don't think they're done with the Sinnerman. I think with Cain in the stage, there must be something else to come.

ONCE UPON A TIME, "The Eighth Witch", December 15, 2017, Actors: Andrew J. West, Alison Fernandez, The Scene: Henry tries to break the curse by kissing Lucy
Marko: Andrew J. West gave new life to the tiresome version of Henry we used to love for the last 6 seasons. The amount of heart and emotions he transfers to the screen are simply captivating and in this case heartbreaking.

Jennise: The dance around the fire. Claire and Jamie chase Geillis across the island in an effort to save Young Ian. They come upon some escaped slaves in the middle of a ceremony of some type. People dance around the fire. Claire and Jamie hide and watch and as she watches Claire thinks back to watching the Scottish Wiccans dancing through the stones back in the pilot. The intercut of the two scenes was both a beautiful way to link the pilot and this season finale, but more than that, it illustrated the fact that human beings, at their core, are the same across the planet. I first thought about the fact that while the rituals or ceremonies may be different, nearly every culture on this planet has a way of marking the 'right of passage' from boy to man. I thought the imagery here made that point beautifully.
Laura B: Claire's revelation about Geillis, as her body lies in the cave.
Milo: This episode opened with a bang, where Tommy had lured in Luca Changretta and the mafia into his home turf, and we found out that Polly hadn't betrayed him at all but had in fact been working with Tommy all along. This intense close-quarters fight scene kept things exciting from start to finish, showing just how out of his depth Changretta was in an area that Tommy knew so well. Wonderfully directed and super awesome from start to finish, the show's penultimate episode of its fourth season knew how to open with a bang.
Diana: This midseason finale really blew my mind! Wow. So apparently Black Hood is dead - even though I don't think so. Betty embraces her dark side: her very last scene with her holding that black hood got me thinking. Is she going to continue to punish everyone in Riverdale? Are we going to find out more sinners in the city? Can't wait to find out what's next.
Samantha: This scene. It warms my soul, I've watched it about 5 times and I just, it was absolutely beautiful. If Gert and Molly hadn't walked in, Karolina would've probably attempted to kiss Nico, and considering how that absolutely broke me in the comics, I am not ready to see that on screen yet. From helping each other to get ready for the gala, to the playful banter, talking about their parents and their lives and of course the way Karolina looked at Nico. Virginia Gardner is absolutely slaying it.
Marko: He finally got to a voice. Speechless is in the business of leaving me speechless week after week and they did it again with this beautiful video montage were JJ expresses his gratitude to his family. The perfectly penned speech with the great clips just brought all the feels. Also picked by Saloni
Claire: JJ makes a movie where a narrator is speaking for him. When Maya hears his “voice” for the first time, it left me speechless.
Laura B: In Flashback Sequence, young Prince Philip imagines the death of his sister and extended family. Everything about this episode really stood with me. I don't know just how accurate the history shown with heavy connections to Nazi Germany is, but it made for very complicated and interesting episode that thematically extends itself to other episodes. But I chose this scene, because of the creative freedom of having young Philip imagine both the terror of his sister's panic, as the plane crashed and because he imagined walking through the aftermath, while on a walk in the woods. Then later, leading him on a crusade to finish building the gate. Both Elliot and Benesch were fabulous in their scenes living up to greatness of the rest of the show's main cast.

THE EXORCIST, "Unworthy", December 15, 2017, Actors: Alfonso Herrera, John Cho, Brianna Hildebrand and more, The Scene: Father Tomas relays Andy's final words to the kids
Milo: Andy's speech relayed through Tomas to the kids following his death. This was an emotional climax to the episode that had put Andy through so much torment, and he chose to sacrifice himself so he could prevent the demon from harming any others. John Cho put in a terrific performance throughout the entire series and in this awesome season finale, we got to see a heartbreaking but perfect farewell to the character.
Kollin: What has made The Exorcist such a special show was how much depth they had given to each character. The writing and acting is something rarely seen in network television and oft comparable to some of the best cable shows. The scene where Tomas relays Andy's final words to each of the kids was a very emotional moment. The season had done such a wonderful job at portraying the love that Andy had for all of his children, and in return, how much he meant to these lost and orphaned kids. And so, when each kid gets their own unique advice, as we flash back to when Andy tells Tomas to pass it on, it really pulls at the heartstrings. His death was unexpected, but it needed to happen to make the ending as perfect as it was.

Samantha: Barry isn't usually my favourite character, but I'd be lying if I say I didn't feel for him here. Pops was trying to save him from unintentional humiliation, and instead ended up breaking Barry as he realised that the best night of his life was a lie. It was wonderful acting from Troy Gentile, and Barry coming to the conclusion that even Pops couldn't help him? It really was heartbreaking.
Klutzy girl: Sue and Sean finally kiss. I was not expecting it, which made the moment so much more special. I was enjoying the slowburn (although it was frustrating) and figured they'd drag this out to the series finale so I'm so happy they didn't. I love that Sean was feeling unsure of himself and that Sue managed to calm him down and reassure him. Everything about this scene was perfect, and I can't wait until the show comes back after the holidays.
Claire: It was beautiful, like they were looking at each other for the first time.

THE WALKING DEAD, "How It's Gotta Be", December 10, 2017, Actors: Chandler Riggs, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and more, The Scenes: End scene with Carl & Carl and Negan’s emotional confrontation
Saloni: Sheldon returns home from his trip with his father and brother, thinking about how it was the best trip he ever had and wishing he could've told his father about it when he was alive. It was a really sweet moment. I am loving the bond between the two, which is the last thing I expected because TBBT rarely brings up Sheldon's father.
Justyna: It's been a great beginning of the season. The new reality of our heroes is both fascinating and disturbing to watch. While Coulson and the others experience the brutal conditions in which people have to live and work in this grim version of the future, it's Jemma's story that continues to be the darkest part of the new world. I'm so glad that the writers keep giving the wonderful Elizabeth Henstridge an opportunity to shine on the show because she's proved herself to be one of their biggest strengths. While I very much feel the absence of Fitz, it's probably a good thing he doesn't have to see Jemma's current situation. The most memorable part of the episode for me were the interactions between Simmons and Abby and "the ceremony" that was meant to show the capabilities of these two and give answer to the question whether Jemma can help Abby control her powers. The realization about what sort of entertainment Kree enjoy was painful. Using the Inhumans and their powers to earn respect and the right price is revolting. Jemma's reactions said it all perfectly. As much as I was rooting for Abby in that brutal fight and was glad to see her taking control of "the space between the stars", her face when she was forced to kill her opponent was hard to watch. Her belief that Kree are actually helping people and she's just not worthy gave Jemma a new understanding of this world and surely bigger motivation to change it. Kudos to cast & crew for another powerful hour. Can't wait to see what's next.
Justyna: There's so many things to love about this episode. But I think my favorite part of it is when Jake gets Captain Holt to admit the reason why he's sabotaging the chance to get his dream job. I loved how much Jake cared about Holt's interview and how hard he tried to make it happen. The relationship between these two is one of my favorite things about the show and such an important part of it. It's always fun to see when they figure out something about each other and in this case, everyone's reactions to Holt admitting to all the steps of his plan were perfect. The whole reveal takes an unexpected turn when Captain finally tells the team about the deal he made with a criminal to get Jake and Rosa out of jail and he admits that he's worried things might get worse if he becomes the Commissioner. Jake's response ("I love you, Dad/Captain") was absolutely heartwarming. And everyone promising to have Captain's back and share the responsibility for his choice is just another proof why this show and this wonderful family work so well. The first lesson Holt was trying to teach Jake back in the pilot, about being the team, is beautifully displayed in this 99th episode of the series. Here's to many more hours of this fantastic comedy!
Samantha: Rosa tells Boyle she's bi. This has been something that many including myself had been hoping would happen since the first season and now that it's actually a reality? It's honestly wonderful. What I like is how there wasn't a big deal made out of it. Boyle was just being his excited self wanting to know who Rosa was dating, he happened to hear a woman's voice and that forced Rosa to admit she was dating a woman and is bisexual. Often on TV shows you will hear a person say they're dating a member of the same sex and they'll automatically be put into the box of being gay or lesbian. But Brooklyn Nine-Nine made its position very clear when Rosa admitted she was bisexual. It's an extremely brave move because whilst being gay and lesbian is a bit more accepted in the land of TV than it was say 5 or 10 years ago? Being bisexual isn't as widely accepted. It's something that the audience may suspect about a character and there may be occasionally references, but it is rare at least in the shows I've watched for a character to actually say they're bisexual, and especially so casually. Which is why I love Brooklyn Nine-Nine. As soon as Rosa told Boyle, he was perfectly fine with it, she refused to say anymore and Boyle is just bursting with happiness that Rosa is happy. Which shows how far they've come from s1 & s2. Also picked by Laura
Patrycja: Rosa reveals to Boyle that she’s bisexual.
Saloni: Captain Holt finally tells everyone about his deal with Seamus Murphy! I was wondering when they would get to this point. I loved when Jake and Rosa realized what Holt had done for them, and Jake called him "Dad/Captain." Plus, the whole 99 crew tells Holt they've got his back. It was all really sweet and really funny.
Samantha: Ending with Javier finding Carlos dead and Letty lost in the woods. A lot of scenes have been making me cry on my Good Behavior catch-up but this ending? With that cover of 'Wicked Games'? I don't think I have any tears left to cry. It was really so sad for Carlos because he was essentially trying to prove to Javier and himself that he's not a wimp. Javier told Carlos he believed in him but actions unfortunately speak louder than words, and Carlos paid for that with his life. Letty ending up all alone and lost in the woods is completely symbolic of her story over the shows' 2 seasons. She's used to being in control, using people as means to an end and not getting close because she thinks she's damaged and brings nothing but disaster to people's lives. And having cut off Javier and gone off to be a disaster on her own, she finds herself in a situation where she desperately needs help and no one is there.
Laura B: Javier comes back to find Teo gone and Carlos dead. Wow, this episode was trippy and psychologically nuts! I don't even know if Letty's experience really happened (or how much of it - I find the character named Dave suspicious thanks to LOST) and that crazy stuff that was going on with Javier helping some guy kill his wife, where the debates and understandings they had about each other, made you question who was the bad one and/or why it had to come down to this? Obviously though it was reflection of Letty and Javier - a possible future ghost, but for me, the thing that really topped it off was Javier thinking it was a good idea to either bring Teo back to his new house (a house he wanted Letty to come live with him in) and/or leaving anyone alone with Teo, granted I almost thought Carlos would have killed Teo or let him escape and this other way! Mind blown. Can't wait to see how this is all going to progress from here!

MR. ROBOT, "eps3.8_stage3.torrent", December 6, 2017, Actors: Carly Chaikin, Grace Gummer
The Scene: Darlene seduces Dom at a bar
Jimmy: Darlene seduces Dom at a bar, later leading to sex, but Darlene's only motive was to get Dom's FBI badge.
Laura B: Like so many times, this is one of those episodes that had A LOT of great scenes from the shock value of another returning character, to Claire wanting to save a slave, to even an omniscient fortune telling scene! But I chose this one, because it was one of those lighter moments of awkwardness that could somehow be deeply felt by the audience without the characters having to say very much. Plus, I just love Lord John - he makes everything so much more pleasurable just by being him!
Marine: The cold open showing the return of Geillis, pretty badass!

Milo: This was such a great scene as we got to witness Tom Hardy's triumphant return to the show in style. His character always has the best lines and the scenery chewing was fantastic. When you combine that with the already great cast of Cillian Murphy and Aidan Gillen in the same room taking part in what is essentially a 1920s version of a pre-boxing match press conference, you know you're going to get fantastic results.

RUNAWAYS, "Kingdom". December 5, 2017, Actors: Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner and more, The Scene: The gang uses their powers for the first time
Samantha: Technically it's not using their powers for the first time as we have seen over the first 4 episodes them touching onto them, but it is the first time they've used their powers to fight and it was every bit as magnificent as I hoped. From Gert's comment on Karolina being beautiful and glowing, to Molly lifting the car, Nico using the Staff to stop the bullets and Chase using the fistigons. It was a fantastic scene and I hope we get more like this in the future.

SPEECHLESS, "S-t-Star W-Wars", December 6, 2017, Actors: Mason Cook, Micah Fowler, Cedric Yarbrough, Marin Hinkle, The Scenes: JJ tells Ray he likes spending time with him & Kenneth and Dr. Miller have fun at the school after hours
Claire: Kenneth and Dr. Miller have fun at the school after hours and you can see they have a real connection as they lay on the gym floor, looking up at a balloon release on the ceiling, Dr. Miller laments that there has never been a reason to release the balloons. Kenneth is the friend she so desperately longs for.
Marko: JJ tells Ray he likes spending time with him
Justyna: What a fight it was! Excellent work by the actresses, the stunt team and the ones responsible for all the special effects. Not only the battle served as a powerful introduction of Supergirl's strongest enemy yet - Reign, but it was also an important milestone for Kara. She has lost people before but she could always depend on her powers and had faith that she will succeed. The moment when she sees her own blood and realizes she's already lost, changes everything. Watching the hero bleed and fall, when you always expect him or her to be fine and win the fight, makes it quite a memorable moment to experience. It's even more unique, since the villain isn't just a random evil or someone looking for revenge. Reign is the alter ego of Kara's friend. And Samantha is not aware of her actions. She's not in control. With such strong beginning of the conflict between Supergirl and Reign, it makes me very excited to see what's going to happen next. Also picked by Marko
DJRiter: The entire Supergirl/Reign battle was epic in both stunt work and effects. I'm loving this storyline and have been so impressed with Odette Annable's performance. She's been so sympathetic as Sam and so deliciously evil as Reign, she's become one of the three best actresses on the show.
Donna: Crashing the office party while fighting Reign. Rocking around the Christmas tree playing in the background and they certainly rocked the party.

SUPERSTORE, "Christmas Eve", December 5, 2017, Actors: America Ferrera, Lauren Ash, Nichole Bloom, The Scene: Dina, Amy and Cheyenne use electric shopping carts
Marine: Dina, Amy and Cheyenne use electric shopping carts to go to Adam’s girlfriend’s house because they are too drunk to drive. Hilarious!
Laura B: There's always a lot to be said for actress Claire Foy's portrayal as Queen Elisabeth II, but this was one of the first times I saw something more complex from Matt Smith's Prince Philip. Even though it's easy to say that Philip had this unpleasant interview coming, given all of his side-lining, including thinking he might have a fling with this young reporter, the reality is that he is a person with a bit of tragic upbringing - an upbringing that I think he keeps trying to escape paving the way to his falandering ways. The flashbacks interwoven into the scene, as the reporter tells us the history while also questioning Philip's integrity (and often not publicly shared opinions on various subjects) was still heartbreaking to watch. It made the character/historic figure much more understandable despite the pain his behavior often causes towards Elizabeth.

THE FLASH, "Don't Run", December 5, 2017, Actors: Grant Gustin, Kendrick Sampson and more, The Scene: Barry walks into his loft and finds DeVoe's body
Naomi: Knowing he is being set up for a murder he didn't commit, Barry gets ready to run. He pauses for a moment, looks at a photo of him and Iris and decides to give himself up instead. Grant Gustin killed this scene with just two words, "Don't run". In this one line Barry's maturity as a man and as a hero is revealed. Up to that point, he had been running his whole life, figuratively and with his powers, literally. The shot of the scene was pretty kick ass too - the slow motion of Barry with electricity coursing through his body as he makes his decision was shot brilliantly.

THE GIFTED, "outfoX", December 4, 2017, Actors: Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Natalie Alyn Lind, Percy Hynes White and more, The Scene: Cliffhanger ending
Milo: The cliffhanger with Lauren and Andy being surrounded by Jace and his soldiers was fantastic, and really played up the emotional stakes especially with having Reed and Caitlin watch on helpless, unable to do anything. The show has been on fire lately and it managed to put everything in place for what will no doubt be an exciting winter finale for sure.

THE GOLDBERGS, "Parents Just Don't Understand", December 6, 2017, Actors: Jeff Garlin, Sean Giambrone, Troy Gentile and more, The Scene: A knock off video of "Parents Just Don't Understand"
Claire: Adam and Barry make a knock off video of "Parents Just Don't Understand" and Murray is upset about how he is portrayed in it. He goes into a raging, expletive-filled rant in front of their friends and the looks on the kids' faces is priceless.

THE GOOD DOCTOR, "Sacrifice", December 4, 2017, Actors: Freddie Highmore, Richard Schiff
The Scene: The fight between Aaron and Shaun escalates (picked by Marko and Laura)
Claire: Mike Heck gives an emotional speech on the 200th episode. Orson is being celebrated as the 200th most livable city in Indiana and Mike gets up to talk about his town and the people who make it so special. But you know he is talking about the cast and crew and maybe the fans, too. I cried.

THE WALKING DEAD, "Time for After", December 3, 2017, Actors: Andrew Lincoln and more
The Scene: Rick takes out the armoured walker (picked by DarkUFO)
Justyna: A strong opening after the fantastic season. I went into the episode without any spoilers, promos, synopsis or anything like that and I ended up very impressed with the direction and the story the writers decided to follow. My one complaint would be the lack of Fitz who I missed dearly but there were so many things happening that I didn't need to focus on that. Though I could highlight a number of scenes from this double premiere, I felt like the reveal is the clear choice for the article. The ending of the first part of "Orientation" changes everything for the characters and the viewers. It was known for a while that the team was sent to space but the time difference was certainly a big surprise for me. I very much enjoyed the way it was revealed - to all the characters at once but from different sources. The reactions on everyone's faces were absolutely perfect and described the importance of the reveal without any words necessary. The situation of the team changes drastically from bad to impossible to escape. The slow introduction to this new and scary world is a great follow-up to this scene. I'm excited to see where the story goes from here, possibilities are limitless. Also, the theories about the destruction of the Earth lead to a potential tie-in with Infinity War which is something I'm most interested to watch in the near future. Kudos!
Beth: The Team discovers that Earth is destroyed and they are in the future. I was shocked right along with them.

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, "Return to Skyfire", November 28, 2017, Actors: Stephanie Beatriz, Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, The Scene: Rosa gets sucked into the world of fantasy books
Laura: Rosa gets sucked into the world of fantasy books when she realizes the badass female protagonist of one of the series is just like her.

GOOD BEHAVIOR, "Don't Thank God, Thank Me", November 26, 2017, Actors: Michelle Dockery, Laura Bell Bundy, Nyles Julian Steele and more, The Scenes: Letty saves Carin from the police & Jacob won't let go of Letty
Darth Locke: Letty saves Carin from the police. It was only inevitable that Letty would hit a low again, but the show has been pretty good about how it went there and not having it be something that happened too soon. It was surely heartbreaking seeing Letty leave Jacob behind and Estelle still really not willing to become a better mother in the compassionate sense, seemingly having no regrets about her dealings with FBI Agent Lashever. I chose this scene however, because despite the fact that Letty parted ways with her son and Javier again --and went on this crazy bender with Carin, in the end she didn't completely screw Carin over--it shows a sense of growth by having remorse and realizing she does need friends to confide in. Can't wait to see what's left for the season!
Marko: Jacob won't let go of Letty. My eyes still burn from all the tears I cried during this scene. Jacob gripping Letty that hard came unexpected but it was so sincere. Jacob is very aware of how damaged Letty is and despite that he needs her to want him. The despair on their faces was truly heartbreaking.
Justyna: Any death is a powerful event that can impact the story of the show in many possible ways. But the death of a hero, just a day away from him going back home to his family - this one hurt more than expected. The entire arc of Professor Stein planning the rest of his life with his family by his side, while also making sure Jefferson will be okay without him, was such an emotional one. It was a long goodbye, that many people believed would lead to a happy ending. But as one fan of superhero movies and shows would know, not everyone can be saved and the hero will always choose to protect others, even at the cost of his own life. And there's no doubt that Martin Stein has become a true hero over the course of his story. While the painful fact that his death came at the hand of a random Nazi soldier, it's the knowledge that he died saving his friends and then chose to separate himself from Jefferson to protect him, that's what should be remembered about his departure. His final moment, when he gets to say goodbye to the other half of Firestorm and convinces Jackson to let him go, was one of the most emotional scenes on the show for sure. Both actors did a wonderful job during this crossover and especially this part. It's hard to believe that Stein is really gone, but his death will surely be one of the most memorable moments in the Arrowverse. And finally, a special thank you and goodbye to the amazing Victor Garber. We couldn't have asked for a better Legend than his Martin Stein. Kudos!
Saloni: Stein's death! As much as I enjoy LoT, I always thought Victor Garber was too good for the show. This scene proves why. His sacrifice was played out beautifully. It was very heartfelt. Franz Drameh did a solid job, too.
Klutzy girl: Jax and Stein's goodbye. I didn't want Stein to die but this scene was perfect in every way. Both Victor and Franz knocked it out of the park, and I nearly started crying along with them. They were father and son, and Jax's pain at losing his dad was so palpable and heartbreaking.
Winston: Stein’s death. I echo the sentiment that Garber was always too good of an actor for the Arrowverse, so even though I found Franz a little weak in these scenes, there was just enough dialogue to make me feel all the things, all at once. I may had shed a tear at Stein’s father and son comment and I’m not ashamed of that.
Donna: Stein's death - a real "pass the tissues" moment and exit of a much loved character.
Milo: Going to throw in Stein's death again here being the obvious choice. It was probably the most emotional death in the Arrowverse so far and was handled really well, Garber was always on fire as his character and it was a fitting send off, adding emotional depth to a powerful event.
Diana: I'm going to miss Victor Garber in the show.

ROBOT, "eps3.7_dont-delete-me.ko", November 29, 2017, Actors: Rami Malek, Elisha Henig, The Scene: Mohammad gives Elliot a lollipop
Nirat: Elliot & Mohammad were both lost souls, both dealing with their own trauma, their interactions throughout the episode were a highlight. There is so much I can say about how much I loved this episode but my favorites are the talk at the mosque leading to Elliot dropping Mohammad at home. Seeing Mohammad’s face light up as Elliot solidifies their new friendship, promising to take him to see The Martian as he drops Mohammad home was wonderful but more so, Mohammad’s response, getting a green lollipop for him. In a sense, it's the act a doctor takes on, after checking his young patients he'd hand them a piece of candy so they'd feel better, so seeing this young boy, trying to make Elliot feel better was something so life-affirming. He hardly knew him but he wanted to help. “Because you said you were sick”, that simple word, Mohammad will never really understand just how much he saved Elliot's life. I'm sure he knew something was odd but I don't think he could've ever realized the gravity of the situation and I won't ever forget that powerful moment. Rami Malek was exceptional throughout the episode, especially during this scene, where he's breaking down into tears as Mohammad goes to grab something (unbeknownst to us, the candy), and then smiling in response to Mohammad's plight to helping Elliot get better. An act of kindness can go so far. Thank you for this beautiful episode Sam Esmail, to see the love of a child used to save a broken soul, to showing how Shama chose the name Trenton (naming herself after her Mohammad birthplace), to the respect of showcasing a mosque being used as a place of sanctuary and refuge (it's about time, it's not just a place to show an attack Hollywood) to using Elliot's renewed soul to extend the kindness to Angela, it spoke volumes.
Darth Locke: Fergus and Marsali's Wedding. It might be true that Outlander's 3rd season has taken its time with its transitioning, but what makes the season three story great so far is Jamie's and Claire's appreciation for how they have aged & how their family has expanded and the love they share through their relationships towards the series youth. This was another nice symbol of Outlander's longivity in becoming a great family saga adventure story.
Jennise: Claire and the turtle soup. I would have been so unhappy if we didn’t get this scene. Claire is a bit drunk and feverish. Once she gets her shot of penicillin she pursues her husband for all he’s worth; including tossing one of his lines back at him. ‘You can’t be drunk if you can stand up.’ It was a lovely way to end the episode.
Marine: The ending aka the Turtle Soup scene!
Samantha: Chase tells Karolina she deserves answers. I was going to go with her revealing her powers to him, but I just love this scene that little bit more. With the sun beginning to set in the background and how close they are to each other, I was fully expecting for them to kiss. But instead it's kept completely platonic. The dialogue was also completely spot on, with Chase calming Karolina's fears down by telling her she's the most beautiful thing he's ever seen was really sweet, and then he ends it on a serious note by saying she deserves answers.
Milo: Victor talks with Chase in his lab. This was a scene that reminded me a lot of the scene between Peter and Liz's dad in the car in Spider-Man Homecoming. It was a very tense moment, especially with the episode going out of its way to show how unpredictable Victor was as a character beforehand. James Marsters was great here, and Gregg Sulkin also impressed as Chase.
Justyna: There were so many scenes that I loved in the entire crossover that it was impossible to choose just the two for this article. In the end, I wanted to highlight the first fight between Heroes and Nazi soldiers. The wedding and the walk down the aisle were beautiful and memorable on their own, however the amount of work that went into this fight at church shouldn't go unnoticed. I'm sure each fan has their favorite part of this scene. Sara and Alex team up to take down Earth-X Prometheus, Wally stopping the bullets, Oliver and Cisco joining forces, Killer Frost and Heat Wave fighting the soldiers with fire and ice, Kara's clap with a power to stop the entire fight. Just to name a few. All the actors, the stunt crew, the fight choreographer, the editor, director and the rest of the team responsible for this scene, they all did such an amazing job here. Big thank you and congratulations for such an achievement. I enjoyed every little part of it and it was only a beginning. There were many other excellent performances, scenes and fights during the crossover but I wanted to highlight this one, if only for the fact that it was filled with many fan favorite duos and powers displayed. Kudos! Can't wait to see what's next.
Saloni: Kara singing "Running Home to You" at the church as Iris and Joe walk down the aisle. Her voice was, as always, stunning. I especially loved the scene when the camera pans solely on Barry as he watches Iris. Grant Gustin nailed the expressions of the happy groom.
DJRiter: Alex and Sara bond over sisters and lost loves- while the crossover was filled with great action&fight sequences it was two quieter scenes that I'll remember. Many have already noted the impact of Stein's death, but the other scene for me was the Alex and Sara scene in the bunker where they talk of their love for their sisters and lost loves that for me marked the true birth of a beautiful friendship. We already knew they made a great team fighting together as warriors, but this is the moment they connected emotionally and Chyler Leigh and Caity Lotz nailed it! It also confirmed my idea that Sara would be the perfect person to help Alex as she dealt with her breakup with Maggie, yet to me their greater connection was their love for their sisters. They make a great team and it would be great to see them team up again.
Pat: Eobard Thawne back in Wells' body, goes all red eyes and evil voice as he vibrates his hand and threatens to kill Felicity.
Samantha: I honestly could nominate this whole episode, because it never missed a beat and this scene is the perfect example of that. It starts out with Pops declaring he's going to teach Adam how to drive. Which completely baffled Beverly, who was on her exercise bike and Murray, sitting on the bed. Then Beverly starts on the fact Pops' license was taken away after his accident, and Pops claims that doesn't mean he can't still drive. This gives us the greatest back and forth the show has delivered for a while, as both Murray and Adam get involved. It's completely and utterly hilarious.
A.D.: The scene with Dr. Kalu and the Congolese mother talking in the hospital room and she lamented about the amount of water in the toilet bowl. Personally, that hit hard because of how real it felt, and it was a look into the privilege of being in a place where there is plenty even in areas that really shouldn’t have much.

THE WALKING DEAD, "The King, the Widow, and Rick", November 26, 2017, Actors: Christian Serratos and more, The Scene: Rosita takes out the baddie with a Rocket Launcher (picked by DarkUFO)
Brown, Ron Cephas Jones, Susan Kelechi Watson, Lyric Ross and more, The Scenes: "What if" montage with William & Teenage Randall tells Jake how he feels in their White Life & Randall says goodbye to Deja & Randall and Beth talk before Deja’s presentation
Saloni: William tells Randall about the time he had followed Rebecca home in hopes of meeting him as a child, followed by that heartbreaking montage of what their lives would've been like if William had been a part of the Pearson family.
Marko: Teenage Randall tells Jake how he feels in their White Life. Masterful performance by this young boy. The words were so intense but the understanding that his performance carried was simply captivating.
Marine: Randall says goodbye to Deja.
A.D.: Randall and Beth talking before Deja’s presentation about letting her go back to her mother. Best lines: Randall: "Well, you are beautiful." Beth: "Rose colored glasses." (Randall takes off glasses) Randall: "Still beautiful."

ARROW, "Thanksgiving", November 23, 2017, Actors: Stephen Amell, David Ramsey
The Scene: Oliver confronts Diggle about the tremor
Marko: Holy intensity. We rarely saw Oliver and Diggle go head to head but this fight was definitely something special. So much tension, so much resentment and so much truth. Loved every single bit of it.

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, "Two Turkeys", November 21, 2017, Actors: Andre Braugher, Marc Evan Jackson and more, The Scenes: The revelation that Kevin threw out the pie & Holt interrogates Terry, Rosa and Boyle
Samantha: Kevin is back! Finally! OK, it's only a really small guest appearance, but I will take it because this scene was absolutely hilarious. The first sign of Kevin's deceit being his claim the pie was better than a plain scone. The revelation Kevin gently puts trash into the bin, and Terry's very confused face. Then Holt asking Kevin why he did it and Kevin blurting out the pie is disgusting which Holt wasn't expecting at all. And Kevin trying to protect Holt, because he likes their annual trip driving in silence? Then of course, Holt suggesting they take the drive anyway, and Kevin's face at the idea of a trip with no purpose? Holt's reaction to Kevin's reaction? All I can think of is that epic 'Bone' scene, because you so know it is going down when they get home. But honestly, Kevin is the best. Marc Evan Jackson doesn't appear on the show anywhere near as much he should, but when he is here? He completely and utterly brings it. Also picked by Laura
Saloni: Holt interrogates Terry, Rosa and Boyle because he suspects they stole his favorite pie. What a hilarious scene, the writing was brilliant, and Andre Braugher, as always, nailed his dialogue delivery.

GODLESS, "An Incident at Creede", November 22, 2017, Actors: Jack O'Connell, Jeff Daniels
The Scene: Roy Goode betrays Frank Griffin
Milo: An excellent flashback used the train robbery as a way for the audience to be properly introduced to Goode's character, putting his journey in motion and standing up to the villainous Frank. Who doesn't love a good train robbery scene?

GOOD BEHAVIOR, "It's No Fun If It's Easy", November 19, 2017, Actors: Holland Taylor and more
The Scene: The introduction of Alice
Luana: Holland Taylor was amazing in every scene, and finding out where all of Letty's charms come from, was awesome.

LETHAL WEAPON, "Birdwatching", November 21, 2017, Actor: Clayne Crawford
The Scene: Riggs gets lost in the dark
Luana: I loved the ending when he decides to finally talk about his issues, but in this scene in the dark Clayne Crawford killed it, you could feel his confusion and the tension was palpable. Amazing work.

LONGMIRE, "Goodbye is Always Implied", November 17, 2017, Actors: Robert Taylor and more
The Scene: Final Montage
DJRiter: It was a beautifully crafted ending and appropriate farewell to the characters we've come to love in this excellent series finale. Also picked by Darth Locke

NCIS: LOS ANGELES, "This Is What We Do", November 19, 2017, Actors: Nia Long, LL Cool J, The Scene: Mosley reveals she has a son
Samantha: Since Mosley's introduction she's very much been a character hard to take to. Partially because she hasn't been explored really outside of the strict boss everyone hates, and talks about behind her back. This scene gave her a bit of humanization. I really wasn't expecting the revelation she has a son. Should've been obvious from the way she was able to get that little boy to drop his guard, when Kensi and Deeks couldn't, but it wasn't. Sam being the one she revealed this to was sweet, as they, to an extent, have something in common in losing a family member, though granted Sam's loss is permanent. I like the way Sam gently probed enough for Mosley to feel comfortable enough to give more details, but knew when to stop as she grew more emotional. It's definitely not a scene that would've worked with any of the other characters, and I really hope this is something the show further explores because I am really curious to see where this goes.
Justyna: I'm so glad I was able to see the first three episodes of the series this week. The only things I knew about the show before watching are the fact that it's from Marvel and has a big and diverse cast. Not much to go on, but I really enjoyed learning about this new world and the characters with fresh eyes. There were a number of memorable interactions and scenes that I could highlight but I wanted to go with the first shocking ending. As the viewers, we are led to believe that the parents are just regular people with occasional secrets. More importantly they seem like good people. And then, everyone who is not familiar with the comics and the premise of the show gets a shocking glimpse into the dark side of their lives. The kids confronted with that discovery have their own takes, a different theories and ideas that would exonerate the people they love, but with each moment they're getting closer and closer to the painful truth. It's a very interesting and engaging story and the ending scene makes the premiere absolutely memorable. Kudos to cast & crew!
Samantha: Nico and Karolina talk in the bathroom. I am so glad I can finally choose this scene. I've been waiting ever so patiently for months, because it's so adorable and just warms my heart. At first they still both got that front on, but then Karolina tells Nico she doesn't need all that makeup on to hide who she is and Nico of course points out Karolina hides behind her smile. It is brutal honesty, and I just love the first time both of them let their guards down is with each other.
DJRiter: Kara's "I don't sleep" scene. So much about this scene helped make this moment so heartbreaking. Kara's pleas to Mon-El to explain his actions and her obvious torment brought tears to my eyes. Melissa Benoist's performance was amazing, she made Kara's anguish feel palpable. This wasn't the reunion she was expecting and all the hopes she'd allowed herself to have when he was first found were dashed. The tremor in her voice telling him "I don't sleep" because she kept thinking about him dead and disappearing in the black hole, and add to that the soulful score from a single piano added to the heart-rending tone of the scene. Then Kara's final declaration of "Shame on me for having a human heart," just the continuation of this season's theme of her deciding she's best off being just Supergirl because being human just hurts too much sometimes.
Luana: Kara and Mon-El talk on the balcony. This episode was heartbreaking and Melissa Benoist killed it, but it was especially bittersweet seeing these two on screen laughing together. Both Melissa and Chris were amazing.
Justyna: The entire story told in the episode, of how DeVoe became the Thinker, was such a fascinating one to see. The fact that he doesn't come across as just another villain, gives more depth to this character than some of the foes we've had before. I actually loved that little moment when Eobard Thawne meets DeVoe because there's a subtle similarity between them. The villain who doesn't simply fight in the name of revenge or power but also has a more personal and important goal to achieve is far more interesting to watch. Knowing who he was, knowing his desire, his hope to gain knowledge to save the world, the fact that he has a loved one by his side, it all makes quite a difference when it comes to understanding the Thinker and his motives. Though he was following his plan before and didn't reveal himself to the Team Flash initially, when the time comes, he speaks to Barry openly, with no fear or hesitation. He's ready for every scenario and patiently waits for the next opportunity. The honest exchange between DeVoe and Barry was definitely a highlight of the hour for me. And Neil Sandilands did a fantastic job throughout the episode. Kudos!
Barry, Blair Redford and more, The Scene: Reed's father sacrifices himself to save his son
Milo: This was a very backstory heavy episode that explored Reed's character and gave his character some great development. Learning that his father, Otto was actually a mutant all along and Reed's illness when he was a childhood was actually Otto's attempt at stopping him from having mutant powers created a foreboding presence on his children's future especially when Otto came to the conclusion that all that he'd done was essentially for nothing. The sacrifice added further emotional weight to the character as Raymond J. Barry was able to make the most out of his performance. Also picked by Darth Locke
Saloni: Mike visits Sue when he learns she hasn't slept in 3 days after watching Silence of the Lambs and narrates his old school quarry stories, which always used to put Sue to sleep as a child. It was such a beautiful scene and also a staunch reminder of the fact that we're losing this gem of a show.
Klutzy girl: Mike visits Sue when she can't sleep after watching Silence of The Lambs. Their relationship is one of my favorite aspects, and I'm going to miss it when the show ends. I love that he knew exactly what to do when she couldn't sleep and that it worked.
Justyna: I had at least a dozen scenes from the second half of the season that I wanted to highlight in the article. The hostage exhange and family reunion, Frank vs. Lewis or Rawlins, or Billy, the memory of Frank's last morning with his wife, his choice to stay alive and keep fighting and many more. In the end I chose the ending of Lewis' story on the show. The way Frank reacted to Lewis threatening Karen on the radio, speaks volumes about their relationship. Frank doesn't have a lot of people in his life that he can trust. He actually doesn't have many people who know him and understand him for who he truly is. In the short time they've spent together, Karen became a part of Frank's family, someone he feels responsible for and he will not let anyone to cause her harm. He admits that to Micro in another great scene. In this moment, Frank comes to Karen's rescue at the hotel, he also tries to get through to Lewis but is not able to. Frank and Karen manage to work together and she gets away from danger while Lewis locks himself in the freezer. His story on the show is many things, but in this particular moment, it's truly sad. The echo of his words, the verses of “The Young British Soldier” poem, leave quite a lasting impression on me. Daniel Webber, who played Lewis on the series, did a fantastic job here. Lewis' spiral, the breakdown, every little thing that brought him to this choice, could have been so different... It feels like a lesson that while not everyone can be saved, we can still learn from each failure and help those in need. Frank is a fighter but for most of the series, it also seems like he's falling apart, barely holding on to life, to his struggle. The calm after a storm, the quiet, can break people too. The Punisher might look like a brutal and bloody action show, but it's far more than that. All the different parts that make this story great are exactly why I would recommend people to see it. I didn't quite know what to expect but ended up enjoying the series far more than I imagined. Certainly one of the best of Netflix Marvel shows for me. Kudos to cast & crew for their great work!
Saloni: Kate breaks down in Rebecca's arms. These two have a complex but ultimately loving relationship. I loved seeing the warm side of it because who better than her mother to help her through the loss of her unborn baby. Mandy Moore and Chrissy Metz were a delight.
Marko: Rebecca plays Kate's audition tape. It was such an emotional heavy episode. The montage combined with Hannah Zeile's performance of Summertime was just soo heavy on my heart.
Klutzy girl: Rebecca shows up at Kate's apartment to comfort her after the miscarriage. Their relationship's come a long way since the beginning, and I loved Kate just collapsing in her mother's arms. They've both been through similar experiences so I'm glad Kate got the support she needed.
