American Housewife - Time for Love - Advanced Preview:"Love Languages and Love Vultures"

This week’s episode of American Housewife may be about Valentine’s Day, but be on the lookout for an homage to another famous holiday-themed movie.

American Housewife plays with its structure in this excellent new episode. Katie hates Valentine’s Day, and she especially hates Greg’s big, elaborate, romantic gestures each year. Angela tells her that the two simply speak different love languages. Will Katie find somewhere to meet in the middle, or will poor communication ruin the day?

Meanwhile, Oliver and Anna-Kat have a fight about Oliver’s present for his quasi-girlfriend, Alice. Anna-Kat looks to be in the wrong, but a surprise twist may change everyone’s opinions.

Also, Taylor has an emergency, Doris makes a confession, and Angela meets someone new in “Time for Love!” Be on the lookout for a van full of teddy bears, love vultures, crudy drugstore cards, lumbar support cushions doubling as pony beds, and possible poison in a water bottle.

Quotes from Tonight’s Episode:

“Why can’t he embrace a more meaningful holiday? Groundhog’s Day is totally underrated! That thing predicts the future!”

“Don’t take love for granted. If you don’t maintain it, it will dry up on you. Then divorce you. Take your Jaguar. And suddenly your kid’s a vegetarian.”

“A leaf blower? We’re not having that ‘give it all up and become gardeners in Vermont’ conversation again.”

“Hookers don’t kiss. Unless you give them an extra $50.”

“I need to listen to that Adele breakup album and remind myself that I should be happy I’m not alone.”

“She also sleeps under a copper pyramid so she can live forever.”

“When it comes to matters of the heart, you’re kind of a dude.”
