Post Mortem Interview

You name-dropped Gabe and Robbie’s uncle, Elias Morrow, who was the Spirit of Vengeance in the comics. How soon will you explore more of what’s really going on with these spirits and is there anything you can tease?

WHEDON: Pretty soon you’ll learn more — next episode, I think. In terms of the uncle and Gabe, we’re definitely pivoting from the storyline in the comics. We’re pulling the characters, the character names and the relationships, but I think you can already feel that we’ve changed it. Those dynamics will be entirely different. We’re using them as inspiration. We’ll start unpacking the story behind these gosh darn ghosts in the next episode.

How will Fitz lying about this affect their relationship?

TANCHAROEN: That is the question. We’ve already put so many obstacles in their way of being together. Now that they’re together, is this one of the complications?
WHEDON: Right. We’ve put obstacles between them to keep them from being in a relationship, but now they’re in one, so we have to throw a whirligig in the middle of that thing.
