Limitless - Arm-ageddon - Review: "Two Thumbs Up"

Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all Americans! I am very thankful for this gift of a television show.

Previously on Limitless...Brian started telling his dad about NZT. Much like everybody else, I was very apprehensive about this decision. On the other hand, he shouldn't be keeping something this big from his father. I thought the way they started to handle this topic was done very well, actually. Dennis only wants the best for Brian, even if he is coming in a little hot and heavy. It is understandable why he's doing this, though. Anyway, let's get to the review!

This episode was undeniably hilarious. The arm and hand jokes were so funny. On the other hand, this episode was quite emotional, and had some really intense moments. For example, we all know how much Dennis cares for Brian. Maybe he's going into things a little hot and heavy, but it's coming from a place of love. When he threatened Naz at the end of the episode, I was actually shaking. I am so nervous for what is to come. Will Naz try to keep hiding things from Dennis? Will Morra/Sands end up killing Dennis? Will Brian wind up dead at some point, prompting Dennis to sue the CJC? So many questions. This episode also showed us more of Boyle's past serving in the army. I think this is a deeply interesting plot line, and I hope they continue showing and telling us more about this. On another note, I was really started to ship him and Shaw. Like, a lot. I saw a lot of sweet eye contact and with their past, I was falling in love. And then we found out Shaw was the one behind the arm attacks. I guess this is what I get for shipping things too quickly. Why is the name Shaw automatically routed in an evil nature? Shaw from Chuck also turned into a bad guy. Thank goodness for Shaw on Person of Interest, then.

The ending of the episode was fantastic too. Brian helped Boyle out, and was by his side throughout this whole ordeal. I thought that was so nice. As much as Brian is growing on Boyle, Brian is very happy to return the favour and befriend him right back. And even though he didn't even talk, Ike was adorable in this episode. Why did Ike and Brian stare at each other for 10 seconds straight? No idea. But I loved that. And then, when Rebecca told Brian that she was able to let him use the jetpack for a while, that was so cute. Brian was so excited, he truly looked like a small child being granted a toy for his birthday, or something. I also thought that could've been an homage to The Flash or Captain America. I hope someone asks the writers about this so we could get confirmation! Anyway, I loved the case-of-the-week, as per usual. The cases are hitting so close to home that it doesn't even feel procedural anymore. And the serialized elements continue with Dennis finding out about NZT, but not knowing anything about Senator Morra. This is concerning. Especially in last episode where he said, "I would suffer for you. I would die for you." It's leaving a bad taste in everyone's mouths, including mine. Regardless of what happens, Limitless continues to deliver fun, exciting, and interesting episode every week. I don't know what I'm going to do on this hiatus. Maybe I'll rewatch all of the previous episodes to fill the void.

To conclude, what else could I possibly give this episode other than an A+?
