“Col. Emmett Darrow is a very mysterious figure who arrives at Los Alamos with an almost evangelical mission about what’s going on there,” says Manhattan creator Sam Shaw. “A lot of the military figures in the first year of storytelling are attached to an old vision of what wars are and how they’re prosecuted, and what it is to be a soldier, and what it is to be a civilian. This guy is, in his way, a real visionary.”

  • 20:50 - The Leftovers - Season 2 - Poster

  • 20:45 - The Mindy Project - Season 4 - Matt Warburton Interview with TVLine
Thanks to Omabin for the heads up.

MEET THE PARENTS: MINDY’S DAD | “We’ve taken Mindy’s personality and extracted two different threads,” Warburton says, which results in the diametrically opposite Mr. and Mrs. Lahiri. Let’s handle her father, played by Ajay Mehta (Royal Pains) first: “You can see how she might like Danny, in that [Mr. Lahiri] is a serious guy who’s a scientist, is really smart, very hard-working” (sounds very Castellano-like so far) “and he loves Boston,” Warburton says. (Nevermind.).”So Danny has to kiss up to the guy that represents his least favorite place on Earth.”

MEET THE PARENTS: MINDY’S MOM | Meanwhile, Sonu Lahiri (played by Sakina Jaffrey, Sleepy Hollow) is “the sort of character that makes her own spotlight on herself at any moment,” Warburton says. “What we find out is she’s gone back to India for a while to try to finally make her Bollywood dreams come true and has dragged her husband along.”

CAN THEY SAY THAT? | Though the show is aware it has slipped its network censors, Warburton says, it won’t suddenly become Girls. That said… “There’s definitely, in the first few episodes, a few jokes that people will really gasp at,” Warburton says. “I often think back like, ‘Would Fox have let this go?'”

  • 12:10 - MOVIES: Batman V Superman - Rumor - WB Wants More Batman And Less Superman
With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice deep into post production and just a little over six months away from hitting movie screens, more details are emerging.

The latest hot rumor I am hearing is that Warners is requesting more Batman be put into the movie and less Superman. Supposedly, Ben Affleck's Batman is so good that he is blowing Henry Cavill's Superman right off the screen.

Like it or not, Batman has become the crown jewel of the DC Universe. Look at what is going in the video-game space with the Arkham series, or the fast-tracked Batman Lego movie spin off. Let alone the upcoming Suicide Squad is all Batman villains/characters. It is apparent how much more valuable the Dark Knight currently is than Superman.

  • 12:10 - MOVIES: Star Wars: Rogue One - Mads Mikkelsen May Have Revealed His Character's Name
Star Wars: Rogue One- Mads Mikkelsen May Have Revealed His Character's Name A fan attending FanExpo this past weekend was able to get Mads Mikkelsen to sign a poster, and in addition to the actor’s autograph, the Hannibal star also put another word in quotations. Some have come to believe it’s a character name belonging to the Mads Mikkelsen Star Wars character.

hat says “Galen” under Mikkelsen’s autograph. And the reason people believe this is the actor’s character name in Star Wars: Rogue One is because of the other visible signature on the poster. That’s the autograph of Phil LaMarr, who voiced Kit Fisto in The Clone Wars animated series. So if he’s putting his Star Wars character name on this poster, it stands to reason that’s exactly what Mikkelsen did as well. So does this tell us anything?

Well, Star Wars fans who have played the video game The Force Unleashed know that there’s a very powerful Force-user named Galen Marek as the main character. Galen became known as Starkiller and was the secret apprentice of Darth Vader. He may even have been more powerful than Vader himself since he used the Force to crash a Star Destroyer.
