  • 13:40 - MOVIES: Man Of Steel 2 - Rumor - On Permanent Hold
Late last week, Jon Schnepp - the filmmaker behind the recent documentary The Death Of Superman Lives - dropped a tantalizing rumor: that Mad Max director George Miller is to direct Man Of Steel 2.

"George Miller is doing Man Of Steel 2," Schnepp said on an episode of Popcorn Talk. "I don't feel weird about breaking it."

We've since heard from two sources that there might be substance to this rumor. They tell us that Miller is indeed in talks with Warner Bros. about the possibility of taking on one of its future DC movies, though exactly what that movie is hasn't been decided as yet.

One source said that what Miller directs will depend on what story most interests him, his take on it, and everyone's availability.

While this doesn't rule out the possibility of Miller taking on Man of Steel 2, another source has said that, as far as they understand it, the sequel is on "permanent hold."

GABI HAS A HARD TIME KEEPING SECRETS STRAIGHT ON AN ALL-NEW EPISODE OF "YOUNG & HUNGRY," AIRING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9th AT 8:00PM ET/PT

Burbank, CA (August 25, 2015) - Everything is relative when it comes to Gabi's latest crush on an all-new episode of ABC Family's original comedy "Young & Hungry," airing on Wednesday, September 9th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

In "Young & Oh Brother," Sofia's brother Benji (Taylor Zakhar) arrives in San Francisco, and he's a far cry from the little kid Gabi remembers. Immediately attracted to the grown-up version, Gabi is thrilled when Benji asks her out on a date, despite Sofia's warnings to stay away from her baby brother. Will Gabi's flirtation cause tension in the girls' friendship? Meanwhile, Josh and Yolanda must get creative when they have to throw Elliott a bachelor party on very short notice. But when their plan involves a dating app for gay men, everyone gets more than they bargained for.

In its most reason season, "Young & Hungry" ranked as cable's No. 1 original series in its Wednesday-at-8 timeslot among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and key female demos. Launch to date, "Young & Hungry" is ABC Family's #1 comedy in Women 18-34, Viewers 12-34 and Females 12-34. The series and cast has been nominated for five Teen Choice Awards since its premiere last summer.

  • 03:55 - HBO Miniseries ‘Lewis And Clark’ To Resume Production In Spring
HBO’s high-profile six-hour miniseries Lewis And Clark, starring Casey Affleck and Matthias Schoenaerts, will resume production in the spring. I hear the cast already has been informed of the new start date.

“As we looked at the schedule for Lewis and Clark and assessed the winter weather challenges ahead, we decided to remount the production in the spring,” HBO said in a statement to Deadline. “We are currently searching for a new director and director of photography. We are also in conversations now with the actors’ representatives to coordinate their schedules for next year.”

The decision to resume filming next year comes three weeks after the pay cable network shut down filming on the project temporarily after a rough early going, with internal as well as external, weather-related factors, impacting the production. “For creative reasons, director John Curran and director of photography Rob Hardy will be leaving the production,” HBO said at the time.
