“We decided to make him 30 because Christ was 30 when he started his journey,” he says at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday (July 9) . The series will parallel Damien’s journey to bring upon the apocalypse at the same time in his life that Jesus preached the word of God in his. It is the anti-Christ story of the actual Antichrist.
“iZombie’s” Bradley James plays the title character, Damien Thorn. He’s living in New York as a war photographer when the mysterious Ann Rutledge (Barbara Hershey) informs him of his true identity. As Damien struggles to accept who he really is, destructive things begin to happen around him.
James admits later in the panel that the first moment in the script where he could see Damien as a human was what attracted him to the role.

The Night Opens with a New Episode of “The Big Bang Theory”
A special 90-minute original episode of SCORPION, the Network’s hit sophomore show, will lead out of the series premiere of SUPERGIRL, Monday, Oct. 26, on the CBS Television Network. The night will open with an original episode of broadcast television’s #1 entertainment series, THE BIG BANG THEORY (8:00-8:30 PM), followed by SUPERGIRL’s debut (8:30-9:30 PM), and an extended SCORPION (9:30-11:00 PM).
As previously announced, SUPERGIRL moves into its regular time period (8:00-9:00 PM) on Monday, Nov. 2, followed by SCORPION (9:00-10:00 PM) and NCIS: LOS ANGELES (10:00-11:00 PM). Also, THE BIG BANG THEORY returns to its regular Thursday time period (8:00-8:30 PM) on Nov. 5, following the conclusion of NFL THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL.

DEADLINE: This is your first time back doing TV extensively in a long time, how is it?
WESLEY SNIPES: Well it’s a team effort and I’m not carrying the whole thing. Philip Winchester and Charity Wakefield are just as prevalent in the show. It came to me after I was in conversations with about another television show and I guess the word got out that I would be open and willing to consider doing the TV series. And this was one that they sent to me. The script was very good. Actually it was better than some of the feature film action scripts, that have been sent to me.
DEADLINE: Well, will you be bringing the vampire hunter back?
SNIPES: The project is controlled by Marvel and we did have a really productive and a wonderful meeting and we discussed a number of things. I don’t know where it’s on their schedule at this point, that hasn’t been decided. I guess it’s still up in the air.
