    Rosewood - Pretty Little Liars
Literally everyone is off their rockers. Mental patients break out of the asylum practically every day. Oh and the police force is utterly useless.

  2. Absolutely not to Seattle, too many people died (I’m looking at you Grey’s Anatomy) and I just know every May (Season Finale Time) there’d be a major disaster killing someone. Also no to Los Angeles, theres literally a Stalker everywhere someone goes, someones always being attacked but I guess I wouldn’t mind getting to see Maggie Q ;)

I’d love to live in Storybrooke though. I’d get to be a fairytale character and live quietly unnoticed until my story becomes relevant ;) Don’t really want to live in Mystic Falls really, the only real surviving human is Matt, so I’m not sure they’d be much hope for me.

Other: No to Winterfell, assuming I’m a Stark ;) or a maybe a Snow or a commoner, who would know, my family would be constantly hunted :( No to King’s Landing, you could die at the hands of poverty, become a product of incest or be the bastard of a king and live quietly until found, oh the possibilities. However, as dire as the consequences I have a strange want to live or at least visit some of my favorite fictional cities.

  3. Though it would also be pretty epic, I'd not like to live in Camp Jaha in The 100.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Not in Washington DC (Scandal) I do not want an organization that kills tons of people in my town.

Also not the hamptons (Revenge) too many people dying, house exploding, too much drama

    ReplyDelete
  5. Damon Salvatore4 June 2015 at 11:21

    Only not in Storybrooke.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Starling City and Haven lol

I almost picked Storybooke, but I wouldn't mind a little magic now and then

    ReplyDelete
  7. New Orleans & Mystic Falls.

    ReplyDelete
  8. None of them : I'll put them all under a dome and watch them from outside.... :-D

    ReplyDelete
  9. This was harder than I thought it would be.
In the end I went with Central & Starling City.
That being said... Seattle is inching up the list. Between The Killing & iZombie, its been tough times in Seattle the last few years.

Chesters Mill - Under The Dome, I mean they are stuck under a bloody dome!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Oh my gods, imagine living on the Ark! (before everything happened, I mean) I'm sure the whole space thing may get boring after a while but still- it'd be SO cool.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Most of these sound awful but I agree with whoever said that Chesters Mill is probably even worse since I could move from all of these but not Chesters Mill.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I would like the hamptions ahah

    ReplyDelete
  14. Lol at the idea of every May a disaster hitting!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Pretty much every city, fictional or real, that appears in a crime/fantasy/scifi show.

By the way hoe come Haven is not on the list?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Those are my top picks too.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Well yeah they are lovely but too many people have been killed there (on Revenge), houses have exploded (grayson Manor) and much more

    ReplyDelete
  18. https://youtu.be/hKwkKF9X5ow

The nicest house in the Hamptons was blown up!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Lol Mystic Falls, everyone dies there. Back in season 1-3 when there was still some semblance of humanity, now it's all supernatural creatures. There aren't any humans left except Matt!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Would not want to live on the Hellmouth of Sunnydale or NYC even without all the bad stuff that happens.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm a country girl. I wouldn't live in any of these cities. It takes me 45 mins to drive into work. I won't be blown up, shot up or killed with a deadly bio agent in a crowd of strangers.

For the question purpose though- Mystic Falls. They're not very bright and I would die from repeatedly slapping Caroline.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Travis Crincoli4 June 2015 at 13:00

    you forgot sunnydale!

    ReplyDelete
  23. RickyForeverDelena4 June 2015 at 13:16

Rosewood-All your secrets get exposed and you get stalked by A, who would wanna live there??

    ReplyDelete
  24. Kind of surprised Mystic Falls is number one atm since no one actually stays dead there.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 13:31

You're right! Who could forget Sunnydale? Living on a hell mouth beats Mystic Falls being situated on ley lines which attract supernatural activity any day. Life in Sunnydale would be exciting - dangerous and scary, but never boring! You also reminded me how much I loved BTVS! What a great show it was and still is. I don't think it will ever be dated, which is the good thing about fantasy.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 13:33

A real city and a fictional town, but we have had some wonderful times in both places, haven't we!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 13:43

Good point! But I'm expecting the real estate value of MF to go up after Damon has cleaned up the town - literally and figuratively. Season 7 could turn everything around.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I don't think I would like to live in wayward pines.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 13:55

Funny thing about the real Hamptons - it's one of the most beautiful natural places I've ever been and once I wanted to live there so badly. It wasn't people dying or houses exploding that changed my mind. It just got too crowded with arrogant celebrities, and too freakin' expensive for ordinary people to live there.
So now I'd like to live in fictional Mystic Falls. Damon's arrogance is sexy, I like all the people who live there, I could hang at the Salvatore Mansion, nobody seems to need to work there - well except for poor Matty - and life would never be boring. Dangerous maybe, but not boring. You can probably tell that I'm an escapist!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 13:57

Definitely no to Seattle - it rains 3/4 of the year there!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 14:06

I know that you know that house wasn't real, it was all special effects and not somebody's actual house. I can't remember any house actually blowing up in the Hamptons although there were occasional fires, but that could happen anywhere. But I agree it was realistic and horrifying, and that's what counts!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Michele Klinger4 June 2015 at 14:10

I would say Mystic Falls. Too much depressing stuff happens

    ReplyDelete
  33. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 14:15

I prefer to call the depressing stuff "drama"! LOL Besides, none of it is real because it's a fictional place and we would know that . If I could magically go there I would.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Omg lol yes, I couldn't pick any from the list but this is my choice too, Wayward Pines!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Well obviously i was referring to the fictional hamptons

    ReplyDelete
  36. I am not talking about real situations.

    ReplyDelete
  37. My choices would be Beacon Hills because the amount of deaths in that town is unreal and Wayward Pines because creepy creatures and creepy people!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Gotham and Starling City, chances of dying there are pretty high

    ReplyDelete
  39. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 14:30

Sorry if I offended you. It was my poor attempt at humor. I do know what you're talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 14:32

If you can talk about the fictional Hamptons, I can talk about fictional Mystic Falls. My humor seems to be lost on you. Sorry about that.

    I'll pick Twin Peaks

    ReplyDelete
  43. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 14:37

    Good one!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Wayward Pines! Anyone who has read the books will know why lol.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Am I really the only person who is thinking the island from "Lost"? I can't believe it wasn't an option.

    ReplyDelete
  46. No please do not apologize :D everything is fine ;)

    ReplyDelete
  47. The Walking Dead version of any city. Ewww - could you imagine the smell? no hot water? and lack of internet?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 15:27

    Good, I'm glad!

    ReplyDelete
  49. In Chicago, you are liable to get stuck in a warehouse fire with a wanted felon before taking a trip to Chicago Med. Since that isn't in my ravel plans, I'd probably avoid that.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 15:34

Just curious. The poll asks which TV show town you'd LEAST like to live in. Do the poll results therefore mean that those who voted would MOST like to live in Metropolis, since it came in last?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Other.

    The Walking Dead's greater Atlanta.

    Wayward Pines.

    Game of Thrones:
    - Bolton controlled Winterfell.
    - Sparrow controlled King's Landing.
    - Any city Daenerys invades or rules

    ReplyDelete
  52. Starling City seems like a pretty depressing (and dangerous) place to live. So does Hell's Kitchen in Daredevil's NYC.

    Others not listed:
Chester's Mill (thanks for mentioning that one!)
Any city in the UK where a British detective show is set (Cambridge, Oxford). The per capita murder rate has to be off the charts.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Starling City. It's not as bad as Gotham, but still pretty terrible. Or Beacon Hills. That place is a death trap.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 15:48

I voted I would least like to live in New York City, no matter which show takes place in it. I've been there, done that, don't ever want to do it again. Too much bad stuff goes down there, in fiction AND in reality.
On the other hand, despite the fact that more than a hundred voters would least like to live in Mystic Falls, if it weren't a fictional town I'd definitely live there. My user name is the reason why, of course!

    ReplyDelete
  55. The first two aren't really towns and if you're a commoner you should be better under Daenerys.

    ReplyDelete
  56. And Sunnydale.

    ReplyDelete
  57. And LA in Angel.

    ReplyDelete
  58. New Orleans in TO any seems okay if you're human and not in the Quarter.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Central City actually seems decent to live in.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Agreed, well...pre-season 7 Sunnydale I mean

  61. And spoilers. Oh well.

    ReplyDelete
  62. What? OH damn, so sorry man :O
Did you really not know? That it got wrecked? I mean, the episode aired in 2002

    ReplyDelete
  63. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 16:06

I love Daredevil! Hell's Kitchen in NYC was once depressing (run-down, dirty, 100+ year-old buildings which had seen far better days) and VERY dangerous - lots of gang activity. Not any more though, now it's getting "gentrified" and they call the area Clinton, or sometimes Chelsea West. But New Yorkers don't like name changes so if you say Hell's Kitchen everyone there knows where you mean. Although Daredevil seems to be set in the world of today Daredevil's Hell's Kitchen really doesn't exist any more. But who cares, it's a great show!

    ReplyDelete
  64. I'd prefer being a White Walker and invade Westeros :P

    ReplyDelete
  65. A metro area may not technically be a single city, but it is referred to as a city frequently. I live in a suburb of Minneapolis and it's often considered to be and called Minneapolis despite being its own city. Even my postmark gets changed to Minneapolis by some retailers. Atlanta (or any big city) is much the same way.

I'll take your word on WP...
I have not read the books, but I know I would not want to live there based on what I've seen so far! XD

    RE: Dany
It's not entirely safe to be a commoner under Daenerys either though. First the invasion can cause causalities (depending on the city), then dragon deaths, and inevitably she soon leaves and chaos results in a bloody power struggle.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Well yeah, that's the days Daredevil was concieved. And from what I heard, Gang controlled blocks get a bad rep. Some people I've talked to usually consider gangs less dangerous to deal with than the cops (other coast though) since the ones aren't given authority while the other side appears to shamelessly misuse theirs.

    ReplyDelete
  67. True, it's a rather light city given the Flash's tone :D
I'd rather live there than in Starling (wich had 3 terrorist attacks in a row, I mean...come on this town is attracking psychopaths like coke attracts Charlie Sheen)

    ReplyDelete
  68. Living in MF has to be awesome, punch Damon and pretend it wasn't you, the guy is so empty up there he probably won't even realize he got smacked.

The towns combined IQ seems to reach up to.......1,3 (the 0,3 being Alaric)

    ReplyDelete
  69. Mystic Falls; I couldn't bear to be around people whose love lives are so incredibly destructive yet dull.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Most of the shit happens in new york like vampires(strain),murders(many shows) but then u got reese and finch to protect you so..i'm kind of torn

    ReplyDelete
  71. So true!
I think if it's an easier life somewhere being a monster than a normal person it's not a place I want to live. Because I'm normal... I have tests that prove it!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 16:15

I hear you. I think the gangs of today are somewhat different from those of the past simply because the world has changed so much. Unfortunately, abuse by cops - not most, but too many - hasn't changed at all

    ReplyDelete
  73. tests will fail you, we won't. We have White Walker Cookies, Westeros most trusted brand of human flesh laced pastries.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Disgusting... and yet it sounds vaguely appetizing.. I mean disgusting!

    ReplyDelete
  75. I think it might've been worse in the 90s given the craze on both sides. But looking back at how some gangs even came to be is rather telling, groups of people that felt that authorities pretty much helped the crime rate rise than sink.

I'm a big supporter of police-video surveillance, the crime rate around the closer Los Angeles area has gone down 20% since video capturing devices were introduced. On both sides. Wich is an impressive step and yet most police representatives keep claiming that it would be counter productive (kinda telling if authorities want cameras monitoring their work gone, guess they miss beating up people for no reason)

    ReplyDelete
  76. Wayward Pines

    ReplyDelete
  77. We also offer a wide variety of delicious treats and sodas. Like Coca-Jorah, Jorrah Mormonts blood mixed with fresh lime.

A culinary experience you won't regret trying at least once

    ReplyDelete
  78. Mystic Falls and Gotham City.

    ReplyDelete
  79. screw it, we could all purposefully mess up Mystic Falls even more. Someone needs to hook up with Caroline, dump her at the altar and stuff like that!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 16:44

I imagine that people who form and join gangs do it for power because they are usually on the margins of society and feel powerless, for protection from rivals, and from policing policies and cops they feel are prejudiced against them (often true), to get things they want but feel are otherwise outside their reach, and from despair at ever having a good life. It takes a very strong presence in the home to steer them into productive lives, more than it does for non-minority young people, I suspect. Even after the civil rights movement equality is still a dream. Non-Caucasians have to try so much harder to make it. What you shared about LA is very telling. It's been said that if some people don't become police officers they could just as easily become criminals. Despite all the psychological testing prospective cops get, the scary fact is that there ARE people with criminal tendencies on police forces.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I think at this point even Damon would agree that he deserves it :P

    ReplyDelete
  82. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 16:49

Easy there. You're talking about the fictional love of my life!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Psychological testing is a joke in this country, despite being madatory each year the test itself is essentially a sheet full of "would you or wouldn't you" questions that are often so damn easy that a toddler could pass with ease.

It's not criminal tendencies, I think that everyone tends to that if the circumstances are horrible enough.
But violent tendencies are the issue here, you don't become a cop if you're not willing to deal a few punches. Problem is most people that willingly join our police forces might take it over the line...a lot

    ReplyDelete
  84. I miss the days I still loved Damon, way easier days back then :(

I'll just stick with Elijah as my favourite on TO

    ReplyDelete
  85. Other: LOST (Dharmaville)

    ReplyDelete
  86. And of course mf. Those poor compelled people...

    ReplyDelete
  87. no one would want to live there after listening to this ;)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIMmoqPoxT0

    ReplyDelete
  88. Lol Starling does attract psychopaths like that. And plus the only really dangerous psychopath is erased (for now anyway).

    ReplyDelete
  89. Dude in 2002 I was eight, but fair it's a safe assumption. But I'm still on season five so please no more.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Police videotaping is essential both for accuracy and to stop abuse of power.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Ra's was barely the worst of the three we had so far :P
At least he was reasonable unlike Malcolm and Slade

    ReplyDelete
  92. Same...but I grew up watching Buffy :P

Sry, no more to come :D

    ReplyDelete
  93. exactly, sadly it's heavily opposed by quite a heavy load of conservatives (duh)

    ReplyDelete
  94. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 18:07

Right. All I can say in their favor is that they are sure consistent.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 18:16

Definitely not a bad choice. He looks so cool in medieval costumes, or modern day clothes. Judging by what seems to be under those clothes, I suspect he would look best in none at all.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I voted Gotham and Other.

Gotham b/c the show sucks sooo bad, i wouldn't even want to give it the satisfaction, fantasizing about wanting to live there.

Other- Wayward Pines. Hell No i would not want to live in Wayward Pines. If i got trapped there, i'd fight to get out (like Ethan) or i'd have to kill myself.

    ReplyDelete
  97. True it seems to be improving for the city. Wonder how psychopathic Darhk and HIVE will be.

    ReplyDelete
  98. I did not, my childhood in regards to live action drama was basically just Smallville.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Chester's Mill for obvious reasons

    ReplyDelete
  100. Starling City because of the annual terrorist attack and Seattle because of the annual disaster.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Seattle & Mystic Falls.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Sunnydale and Starling City, specifically the Glades. I can fight zombies or vampires or meteor freaks or metahumans if I have to, but I'm not okay with places where the ground beneath you can collapse and take your town/city with it. Even if I survive, my home, my work, probably my friends and family, and definitely my external hard drive with all my TV shows are all gone. And then I gotta relocate to somewhere else like LA or Central City minus all my people and my stuff and I probably will just get more vampires and more super villains and metahumans and such. That just sucks. Plus, I'm just going to be real jumpy the entire month of May every year. No, thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Vampires Forever4 June 2015 at 20:08

Yes, but almost nobody stays dead! Matt is our token human now, but after all TVD is a vampire show so we can't expect most of the characters wouldn't be supernatural or eventually become supernatural.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Ha! This is a great topic. So many cities to choose from, starting way back in Cabot Cove with Murder She Wrote.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I would say that I would love to go to The Hamptons for the summer cause the beach seems nice but living there would be a big no no for me.

    ReplyDelete
  106. other: Wayward Pines

    ReplyDelete
  107. Other - Westeros

    ReplyDelete
  108. Wayward Pines and Haven...although TonDC (The 100), Beacon Hills (Teen Wolf) and Starling City are probably best avoided as well.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Mystic Falls where every human but Matt dies.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Seattle... It was bad enough Shonda has given that place a horrible reputation now they also have zombies...

    ReplyDelete
  111. Gaia Di Lorenzo5 June 2015 at 08:37

    Storybrook.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Hestia Prytaneum5 June 2015 at 15:09

    anywhere in game of thrones.

    ReplyDelete
  113. And what about Chester's Mill ? (Under the dome)... could be fun :)

    ReplyDelete
  114. Sunnydale (Buffy)

    ReplyDelete
  115. Yes it rains, but not enough to keep the techie hipsters from moving here.
