  1. SHIELD definitely.

  2. I misread the title of this as if their time-lines collided which would have been something very weird and fun. As it is I only watch AOS and I'm not in the US anyway so everything is downloaded.

    ReplyDelete
  3. So will we change the title to Spindae02's Daily Poll or what? lol

I think I submitted this while during the Upfront week. I found it an interesting topic, as I see that the 2 show share viewers, at least the once posting here. So which show would get the upper hand? ^_^

It's hard choose - The Flash.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Did you submit another poll recently?

    ReplyDelete
  6. I don't watch AoS live anyway BUT if I did have to choose then it's the Flash.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I didn't submit since this poll anything.
But after the Laurel's trainer pool and the 2 VD/Elena polls, last week the Anime poll was posted and now this. ^^

    ReplyDelete
  8. Keep up the good work then lol
I should submit "Which show would Spin watch, if he started watching AoS?" :P

    ReplyDelete
  9. LoL! Spin would suffer from burn out if he started to watch even more shows. Trust me! ^^
I submitted one about Iris and which DC character should be her mother, but that was early in the year. Don't know if I submitted more, wouldn't be surprised at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  10. We wouldn't want that lol. But you are missing out, Aos is great.
WHOA! Plot twist! You submitted a poll about Iris! Colour me impressed haha

    ReplyDelete
  11. DVR and the internet exist, so these questions are moot for me. If I have the time to watch anything live on Tuesdays nights this fall and if the time slots were the same, I'll probably go with whichever is having the better season at the time. At the moment, I'd lean towards The Flash, but both had pretty good seasons, so going forward, it's a tossup.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I heard a bunch of things about AOS, but I mean I can't help every show succeed. ;-) AOS has to pull it off on it's own. ^^

See I submitted the poll thinking of how to improve Iris and her character. Give her more stuff to do, etc. I wasn't sure she would know about Barry by the of the season so I wanted her to get a power Mama to bring her into the verse. But still I look forward to them doing an arc around her mother, they said it would be explored in the future. Hoping for S02.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Agents of SHIELD

    ReplyDelete
  14. I mean yes with the internet and DVR you can watch it all.
Also you can switch it up when U hear a big episode is coming up for one or the other, but still it's a bit off what keeps you more bound to your seat and on the edge so you'd prefer to watch it live without waiting.

    ReplyDelete
  15. "I heard a bunch of things about AOS, but I mean I can't help every show succeed. ;-) AOS has to pull it off on it's own. ^^" hahahahahahaha

"See I submitted the poll thinking of how to improve Iris and her character." Well you're trying to like her. Maybe there's hope for you yet lol.

She is in the middle of things now so season 2 will be different. I would like to see her help the team with information about the bad guys like how Lois helps Clark.

    ReplyDelete
  16. This question is kinda pointless since we have internet.

But, overall : The Flash > Shield
But in the last couple of episodes of this season, it was Shield >> The Flash

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yes she is in the middle of things but that Eddie twist can push her away from the drama.
I would like for her to get involved into the overall story, but also have an arc on her own which could eventually collide with Team Flash's story, that is something I wish for Felicity as well. So the characters would more individual story and not depend on the male characters for development.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'm afraid they're going to a Laurel 2.0 and make her blame Barry for Eddie's death and drive a wedge between her and Barry/the team. I hope not.

    Agreed.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I think it will pull Barry and Iris away from each other but don't think Iris will blame anyone. I mean it was Eddie's decision and no one could've stopped it. Sadly we'll have to wait for CC or the summer TCA's to hear what they plan for Iris in S02.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The Flash for sure. SHIELD is fun and it got a lot better with Season 2 but The Flash is awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yeah but Barry was the one who agreed to release Eobard, which made Eddie sacrifice himself to save everyone. What's worse is that no one stopped him or even disagreed a little bit. I've mentioned how much I hated that episode, right?

    I NEED SPOILERS!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. The Flash. I gotta catch up on AoS mmph

    ReplyDelete
  23. She can't blame Barry, cause she was fine with the idea as well. I mean she was quite. Them all bowing down to Barry was a bit meh I agree but Wells destroyed his life and he deserved a chance to change it.
How could U hate such an amazing finale? Come on Koky it was so well done I really loved it.

This show and spoiler withdrawal is really getting to me. I hoped we would get some Arrow casting calls these days, but seems like we have to wait a bit longer.

    ReplyDelete
  24. This poll question is kinda redundant since we already have the fall schedule and their timeslots aren't coinciding.

    ReplyDelete
  25. This is a difficult one as i love both shows equally... but it has to be heroes reborn definitely... i dont even care its on that night :D

    ReplyDelete
  26. I know they all just went with it EVEN THOUGH they knew there was a chance the universe would get destroyed, Barry could die and their whole lives would change. Not a single one of them disagreed a little bit. I know it sounds harsh and they all wanted Barry happy but at what cost? They are scientists. One of them should've had some reservations, at least Stein.

It was a little slow and boring for me at first. They just kept talking and talking. It was so emotional and it made me cry more than once but I was a little bored. I think the fact that everyone was so OK with Barry's decision irked me that I couldn't fully enjoy it. It did pick up and became amazing once Barry started running. The scene when he said goodbye to his mother gutted me. She even called him "my beautiful boy' like Moira used to call Oliver so I was doubly heartbroken. Then they killed Eddie and pulled another Tommy and I was annoyed and angry. TOMMYYYYY. EDDIEEEEE. MOIRAAAA. NORAAAA. *sniff sniff* (yeah it was not a good day for me). Then a vortex opened and was about to swallow the whole planet! Don't get me wrong the visual effects were amazing, I loved the glimpses we got from the future, Caitlin and Ronnie got married and I was so relieved Henry and Ronnie were alive but that vortex really annoyed me to no end because it was their fault for agreeing with Barry. So yeah wasn't my cup of tea.

We won't get a promo in SDCC so they need to give us a lot of information about the direction the show is taking next season.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I don't understand in this time why everyone does not have a DVR or Hopper, but if I could only choose one it would be SHIELD.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I agree there should've been a bit more resistance and discussing before Barry did this. Stein was more into it than Barry cause as a scientist he wanted to see it happen. The only one with a bit of reason was Henry who tried to talk Barry out of it.

It wasn't perfect for sure and I agree Tommy-ing Eddie wasn't the best idea but it had such a major impact that it left me stunned. Such a plot twist inserted in such a gripping way. Just wow.
Wells words before vanishing are still echoing in my head: " I've controlled your life for so long Barry. How will you get along without me? " Just got the chills again.

We maybe get a Flash teaser as they resume shooting on the 7th July and the panel is on the 11th. So they could record just a couple of scenes and cut them together for a minute long teaser.

    ReplyDelete
  29. There is always next year! ^^

    ReplyDelete
  30. I watch both, but The Flash easily takes precedence for me. I tend to DVR the Shield and use the summer, to get caught up.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'm not an US audience,so i don't have to choose :-)

    ReplyDelete
  32. No offense, but way to bait a Marvel vs. DC war.

    Anyway, AoS by far.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I have a DVR and Hulu so this isn't an issue for me. That said, as much as I <3 The Flash, I'm more invested in SHIELD.

    ReplyDelete
  34. As much as I love the Arrowverse, would watch AoS first, it is less predictable because there are less spoilers

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm surprised by the results.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Neither but if I had to choose I'd go with AOS

    ReplyDelete
  37. Can I say how much I admire you for saying Arrowverse :D

    ReplyDelete
  38. I still can't believe no one saw it coming. All the evidence that Eddie was the Flash's Tommy was there and yet no one saw it coming AT ALL!

I'm not getting my hopes up so I wouldn't get disappointed if we didn't.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Easy since I don't watch AOS, it will be The Flash.

If you're dieting at the present then you will know just how tough it really is. You need to watch John Barbans great FREE short video on LIPTIN and the Metabolism it's a real eye opener on why it can be so tough to lose weight even when your eating the right food types

both thanks God, we got DVR

    ReplyDelete
  42. I refuse to make such a choice. It would probably vary each week.

    ReplyDelete
  43. i love The flash but i gotta go with Shield

    ReplyDelete
  44. Goodbye Revenge, ∞x∞15 June 2015 at 15:26

Definitely The Flash!! Season 2 of shield was weak and boring until the last few episodes. In my opinion The Flash (which I binged just last week) has been amazing all season. So excited to see what's in store for Season 2!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Goodbye Revenge, ∞x∞15 June 2015 at 15:27

I'm hoping the Flash will do better!

    ReplyDelete
  46. The Flash, of course.

    ReplyDelete
  47. This will never be an issue because unlike CBS and Fox, ABC and CW (i.e. the networks that are owned by the people who actually own the properties) have enough common sense to know that they're chasing after the exact same viewers because there's probably just a small portion of the fan base that is exclusive to one brand ( unfortunately, it's the most vocal part). You're only shooting yourself in the foot by putting the shows against each other because you will lose live viewers either way and there's no guarantee that it will even out in the C+3. In the end it's all about money.

Now that being said, I would love to hear everybody's thoughts about the timeslot stupidity that is Monday nights on Fox and CBS. Which shows going to be hurt the most?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well, the networks definetly understand me, of the 15 shows I'll be watching next season none of them coincide, usually there is at least two conflicts

    ReplyDelete
  49. Lucky. There are only going to be three shows I watch next year, AOS, Muppets, and Jane and not a single one of them is at a time slot I can watch live. The DVR is my friend. Actually the main reason why I haven't checked out the Flash is because I don't want to add more stuff to my Wednesday morning DVR viewing.

    ReplyDelete
  50. This question is kinda pointless since we have internet.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I live in Germany so do not watch live anyway :P

    ReplyDelete
  52. Would I watch AoS?

    Hahahahahahahahahaha.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Probably AoS live and dvr Flash, but would definitely watch both in some combination capacity

    ReplyDelete
  54. I thought that was season 1 lol ,I only kept watching AOS then because l was hoping the Whedon would save it and it did , season 2 was way more watchable l found myself falling asleep for half of the season .
The Flash had a good first season though but Arrow is anything to go by its only a matter of time until the writers screw it up especially with introducing the multiverse. Im treading carefully here lol.
Thats Gabriel Mann on your prof pic right .

    ReplyDelete
  55. AOS has way better female characters , Flash l like them but the writers dont seem to know what to do with them.

    ReplyDelete
  56. althought The Flash is my favorite superhero show on TV right now, AoS is my true love..i really have to watch live..so AoS, but i would suffer because of The Flash for sure..

    ReplyDelete
  57. Amen, finally someone who speaks english lol.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Don't take the easy way out Omabin.
Which one do you watch first when U wake up?. ^^

    ReplyDelete
  59. Shield is better than the flash imo after watching both. But I would Dvr for sure

    ReplyDelete
  60. The Flash most definitely. I'm not even sure I will continue watching SHIELD if absolutely nothing aired against it.

    ReplyDelete
  61. It really depends. I usually watch both of them on Thursday together with Arrow actually since I like my three way punch of the shows. Sometimes I watch MAOS on Wednesday right away though, but Arrow-The Flash I tend to watch as a package.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Goodbye Revenge, ∞x∞15 June 2015 at 22:57

AoS in my book is a decent show but I just get bored with it a lot. On the other hand I loved the entire season 1 of the Flash so I'm hoping it will continue to be great. Yes it's Gabe!

    ReplyDelete
  63. The Flash but I hope to God that never happens!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Stephen S. Bowman16 June 2015 at 08:00

i really do enjoy them both so i cannot choose one or the other if the time slot was the same

    ReplyDelete
  65. Oops it's Flarrowverse, right? Well it's obvious which show prefer 😊

    ReplyDelete
  66. The Flash. Shield has never peaked my interest. Plus inhumans vs. Earth 2, Jay Garrick, the multiverse, and potentially Wally West. No question here Flash.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Soon it'll be the Flarromorrowverse. :D Ah I love this verse.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Well why wouldn't they? Releasing him and letting him go back to his own timeline is much better than having a psychopathic genius killer around with the power of the Speed Force. That and if Barry did go back in time it would change everything anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  69. You know what Graydon, you are incredibly lucky that I have a headache and feeling very tired at the moment lol
Just one comment. Didn't he want Barry to become the Flash because he can no longer connect to the Speed Force?

    ReplyDelete
  70. Again, very lucky. IT'S ARROWVERSE. The one and only verse. They are all players in the ARROWVERSE.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Lol okay. But Barry's just as big. Just don't want Oliver to get more weight in regards to his role.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Yes, but changing the timeline wouldn't from his point of view alter that. Given OG Barry became the Flash without his mom dying. But even if it did, Thawne wanted to go back to his timeline which is distinct from this Barry's. So no matter what his future would've stayed the same. But he'd still be trapped there and pissed off, and a angry Eobard Thawne is not a good thing.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Your concern for Oliver touches my heart lol. Don't worry he can handle it :P

    ReplyDelete
  74. So is Eddie alive in that future?

    ReplyDelete
  75. lol. I'm more concerned about Barry. He's just as (if not more so do to his involvement in the multiverse) more important in things to come.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Yes but he's inconsequential (unlike this one where he killed Thawne and was involved in Barry's life) and never interacted with any main character. But yeah he should be judging by Eobard's comments.

    ReplyDelete
  77. empirewacksback24 June 2015 at 01:36

The Flash's problem in S2 is that aside from a few minor issues, they nailed the season in casting and episodes. I hope they can do 80% as well in S2.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I have to share some insight with U. Sparky linked me to the twitter account of the Arrow/Flash/LoT/Supergirl casting director. He starts following actors they cast for the shows.
Yesterday he followed Peter Facinelli, Echo Kellum and Teady Sears. I assume Peter was cast as Damien, Echo as the newly announced AA nerd/Felicty rival. Teady could've been cast as the Cynical hero on Flash or fingers crossed as Hal Jordan on Arrow.
I wrote U here to keep the buzz down without any real confirmation.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Before I get really excited just to be massively let down, I need to know something. Does he work for other shows?

    ReplyDelete
  80. For those 4. He listed only those 4 in his bio. David Rapaport.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I love Peter but I don't see him as a big bad. I don't think he has the required evil presence. But that could be because he was unnaturally kind before. /he was believable as a jerk on Glee, so it could work. Anyway I'd be happy to have him on Arrow or Flash. What if he's Simon? I'm one of the few people who don't want DD to be Felicity's dad. I have a feeling that Simon character is her dad. He could be a big ranking member in HIVE but not DD.

I don't think I've seen any of Echo's work but he does seem to fit the character and I trust the shows' casting. As for Sears, I've seen many of the shows he was on but I can't remember him. I would love if he was in the flashbacks as Hal, or in Flash. Either way I'm so OK with him on my screen lol

Still I won't get my hopes up because it's not a confirmation and anyone of them could be on LoT. So I'm being cooooool

    ReplyDelete
  82. I told U right away not a confirmation, just speculation.
Peter is a good actor. I like some of his movie work not really watched him on TV. Think he has the skills to pull of an evil guy. Just when U mentioned Peter he could play Vandal Savage.
Who is that Simon guy U're mentioning? Didn't heard casting news about him. I don't think DD will be Fel's dad. He was a normal guy just to smart and had probably to leave them cause of some HIVE business.
I watched a couple of Kate and Ben eps, Echo was fine in them. No clue how he'll play the nerdtastic type.
Teddy is a great guy. I loved him in a couple of roles including AHS s01, Raising the bar and Masters of Sex. I just somehow doubt it will be Arrow where we'd get him, think it's the other hero on Flash.
Also Lindsay Gort, who played Samantha in TCD, was recently added to his follower list so there is a chance she'll play Patty in the Flash.

I would love for Arrow to cast Catherine Hicks as the "Moira" replacement.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I'm not faulting you I'm just thinking out loud lol

Remember the leaked audition videos? The transcript said Simon. Exactly, I can't imagine the immortal DD settling down and having babies in Vegas. Plus I don't want Felicity's dad to be that irredeemable. Not another Malcolm Merlyn.

I haven't seen those shows so I don't know if Teddy is a good actor or not. I can't tell what roles would suit him. You're right they mentioned the other thirty-something hero. It could be him or Peter.

Lindsay Gort could also be Wendy.

Haven't seen Catherine Hicks before. Is she good?

    ReplyDelete
  84. I think Simon was a codename. Just like Wendy is a codename for Patty, so Lindsay would be playing Joe's partner/Barry's love interest. They use the codename so they wouldn't reveal the identity of the comic character they intended to us and let us go mad for guessing.

For Simon do you mean the vids that leaked with that guy talking about stuff really criptic. I think that were castings for Damien. I don't recall any Simon. Link me if you remember where U saw it.
Catherine Hicks is the mom from 7th Heaven, I loved her and hate she more or less retired from primetime.

Just yesterday I wrote in the open discussion thread that I've got a feeling we'll get some casting scoop. ^^

    ReplyDelete
  85. I know it's a codename that's why I said "that Simon character" I don't know the real name and I don't think that Simon is DD.
I thought Wendy and Patty are different characters. Patty is a cop and Wendy is supposed to be a scientist, right?

    I haven't seen 7th Heaven. I miss Moira :( I hope this character isn't a carbon copy of Moira.

Have I mentioned how much I hate hiatuses?

    ReplyDelete
  86. The hiatus is awful. Can't wait for SDCC and some scoop. But there are a couple of shows that help me go through it and Teen Wolf starts next week so I'll be fine. ^^

I don't recall audition vids from a Simon character. Just those obscure featuring DD I believe. Everytime we write DD I flash to Daredevil.

I hope this new Mayor woman will be much straight forward and not hold back like Moira did. In all her glory Moira was so shady, cause of all she's been through of course.

Patty was a cop/scientist in the comics. But here she is just a bit smarter cop ^^ Here is a casting video, to get some insight what she'll be like.
    https://vimeo.com/131150608

    ReplyDelete
  87. Wait I'll try to find the transcript that said Simon.

    ReplyDelete
  88. http://comicbook.com/2015/06/11/arrow-season-4-auditions-possibly-reveal-main-villain-dialogue/

The writer says that Simon is a codename for DD but I don't think they are the same person. Simon was talking about leaving his family. That could be Felicity's dad but not DD. (flashing to Daredevil too lol)

Agreed about Patty. Enough with the shady characters.

I see. I thought they were two different girls. I NEED names! I need spoilers!

    ReplyDelete
  89. Remember that Damien and Ra's had to leave their families behind, so that could be what he referred. So it can go either way. I'm torn between my wishes for Fel's dad to be part of HIVE or not. But we'll have to wait and see, I hope she gets an individual arc not related to TA.

I NEED EVERYTHING, RIGHT NOW, RIGHT AWAY. Hope for casting confirmations/announcements these upcoming days.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Guess we'll have to wait and see. I'm torn too. We already know he is a criminal, so that ship sailed. If he's going to be a criminal then he must be a genius one not a street thug. Still I don't want him to be DD. I need her to have a big arc separate from TA but also related to the overall plot of the season.

    MEE TOOOOO!!!

    ReplyDelete
  91. I'm confused now Koky. That casting director followed a bunch of people again.
He followed Billy Eichner who could be perfect for that cynical hero as he is a comedian. Also he followed Michael Roche who could work as Damien Dhark. Also he followed 2 girls who really doesn't fit the story for me. But they can be metahumans of the day or stuff.

I HATE WE HAVE NO REAL INFORMATION.

    ReplyDelete
  92. It's very obvious we won't make it through this hiatus. We are losing our minds already and we still have more than 3 months left.
Maybe he's following them because he's a fan?

    ReplyDelete
  93. Maybe, maybe not. We'll have to wait for some confirmations.
The thing is that he follows them actively during this casting season. He didn't follow anyone but in the last 48 hours around 10 actors. We'll have to wait for some confirmation. Also a couple of them could be cast for Supergirl.
I hate waiting and this hellatus, like Shannon calls this, is terrible for my addicted heart. The thing is that we are used to much more information and this is horrible.
