The 2015 Emmy Awards: Submit your Predictions and Dream Nominees

30 Jun 2015

Update 2nd July: The form is now closed. Thanks to everyone who submitted their predictions and dream nominees!

In a month's time, on July 16, the nominees for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced. If the past few years are any indication, the Emmys have shown to be predictable. On the comedy side, there usually seems to be a lot of love for Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory. Frequent drama occupants, meanwhile, include Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey and The Good Wife. So will this year be any different? We shall see in a month.

In the meantime, we can only speculate on who will be among the nominations next month. We now have a fun way to do that. In the form below, you can submit your predictions in the major categories (the series and the acting categories). In addition to that, you can also submit your own wishes in the very same categories. Once the form is closed, I will go through the predicted nominees and dream nominees and compile an article that will be published a few days before July 16. The nominees with the most votes will be included in the article.

The form is pretty simple. For your predictions, it is important to be as objective as you can and think about who has the best chance of getting a nomination. You could look at last year's nominees, find various other sites with Emmy predictions or look which series have the most Emmy buzz. Try not to let your feelings cloud your judgment.

For your wishes, you can be as subjective as you like. This means you can pick your own dream nominees and submit those, provided they are eligible for the Emmys. You can think about your favourite shows or the best shows you watch and submit these. Below are some rules pertaining to the form and the eligibility for the Emmys.

General rules

1) The form will be open from today till July 1.
2) You can only submit once. If you submit multiple times, all your submissions will be removed.
3) You must fill out the entire form (4 pages) and click 'Send' at the end of page 4.
4) All questions are mandatory to answer so you can't forget any category. However, if you have no idea who will be nominated or no opinion on who should be nominated, you can just write 'None' or 'No idea' or something like that.
5) Read the page carefully to make sure you submit the right nominees in the correct category. At the top of the page, it should say whether you are on the page for writing PREDICTIONS or on the page for WISHES. In the case of PREDICTIONS, the question is who WILL be nominated and in the case of WISHES the question is who SHOULD be nominated.
6) The maximum number of nominees is listed right above the answer box. No more nominees than the maximum should be submitted. If you submit more, your answer for that category won't count. Submitting fewer nominees is not a problem.
7) Only eligible nominees (see below) can be submitted. Non-eligible submissions will be removed.
8) The form is only for the major categories. You are free to discuss your predictions or wishes for other categories in the comment section below.
9) The form is only meant to predict nominations, not winners.

Eligibility rules

1) The eligibility period is from June 1, 2014 till May 31, 2015. Only programs that aired the majority of their episodes in this period can be submitted, which means that for example Hannibal can't be submitted.
2) For both your predictions and your wishes, only programs or actors/actresses that are eligible for nomination can be submitted. Since some actors simply don't put their name up for Emmy consideration, this means they sadly cannot be picked in the form. For example, no matter how good The 100's Eliza Taylor is, she is not eligible which unfortunately means you cannot submit her name in the form below. As written above, non-eligible submissions will be removed.
3) To see if someone is eligible, you need to check the nomination ballots. Simply click on the ballot you want to see (in this case 'Program' or 'Performer') and it will open a PDF-file with all the eligible nominees. You can use a quick search (Ctrl + F) to see if your prediction or wish can be submitted.
4) Keep in mind the TV Academy recently changed some of its rules. You can find these changes on Deadline or any other site. These rules are important to take into consideration, as it means that, for example, last year's winner for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series, Joe Morton, is not eligible in that category this year. It also means that Jane the Virgin and Shameless are eligible in the comedy categories, while Orange Is The New Black is considered a drama.

All said, here is the form. Have fun and don't forget to tell us your choices in the comments! If there are any questions, shout out below.

  2. Thanks for putting this together.

    Good luck everyone!

I can't see the form and it be nice it include the creative emmy awards

    ReplyDelete
  5. Best Drama: The Americans, Better Call Saul, The Leftovers, Outlander, Justified, and Homeland.

  6. Wow this is an awesome idea, Daniel! I love to discuss this stuff, especially the acting categories. And I actually felt that we were having these discussions pretty much spread out around the site for the last few weeks! Nice to have a more "official" thing. I will be sumitting mine tonight. Some tough choices ahead!

    ReplyDelete
  7. If I'm not mistaken, it should work now.

As for the Creative Emmy Awards, it is sadly not an option to include every single category there is. Most people wouldn't even know who to nominate for Oustanding Costume Design to name an example.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Thanks! People having various discussions all around this summer lol. I am sure there will be tough choices, I personally have to think about my submissions for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Rhys will be nominated as well.

    ReplyDelete
  10. When the ballots were published earlier today, I was shocked at the lack of The 100 submissions. No submission in Oustanding Writing, only Paige Turco and Adina Porter in the acting categories (neither will be nominated of course) and not even a submission in Oustanding Main Title Design! I will be surprised if The 100 gets any nomination, and if so, it will probably be one of the minor categories (like costume/make-up or so).

    ReplyDelete
  11. Take your time! Submissions will stay open for a few weeks.

I wish Eliza would get nominated, but apparently her name is not even in consideration. She is excellent as Clarke.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I am surprised with that. I think they had no chances of getting something but why not even trying? Seems weird.

    ReplyDelete
  13. GoldDerby is usually quite good at predicing and they have him at #14.

    ReplyDelete
  14. It would be a dream if Matt Bomer or Tim DeKay got nominated for White Collar, but that'll never happen.
It would also be crazy if Criminal Minds actually got nominated for something. If anybody should win from that show, based on Season 10, it should be A.J. Cook. She knocked it out of the park in so many episodes. Joe Mantegna as well.
Furthermore, it would be a crime if Viola Davis didn't get any nominations. HTGAWM itself should also.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yes I just noticed that link to the lists/categories you provided.. I wonder how it is allowed/chosen what to be submitted, because it's not as if the 100 is just not allowed period as I've seen there are several production submissions and I believe a nomination last year too.

Best drama: The Blacklist, actor: James Spader.

Best actor, one of these people will get nominated I think James Spander, Michael Emienson(Sp?) Simon Baker Johnny lee Miller

  18. arrowshieldfan15 June 2015 at 23:52

Well I will say most of my show like arrow have a higher chance of getting nominated for creative emmy at least for visual effect or stunt coordination

    ReplyDelete
  19. arrowshieldfan15 June 2015 at 23:54

only chance for criminal mind is MGG directing but that is still a long short

    ReplyDelete
  20. Season 10 wasn't even some of his best directing. Mr. Scratch seems to be a bit overhyped in my books, and his better episodes are already in the past.

    ReplyDelete
  21. It's funny how Season 2 and Season 3 of Hannibal aired just before and after the eligibility period.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Some actors clearly submitted themselves in the wrong categories. In what world is Sean Maguire the lead of Once Upon a Time?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I hope it's alright to ask here, but after looking at the submission listen Daniel provided I am very confused. Does anyone know the process of who & what gets submitted.. I'm sure their is a limit & some qualifications. I also assume the networks have a hand in it too. If someone knows a response would be lovely!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Maybe this year The Middle will do better than a nomination for Best Prosthetic Make-Up in a Single-Camera Comedy Series (and that was for ONE EPISODE).

Nah, it'll just be Modern Family and the 0.2s on cable again.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'll fill out the form later, but for now, here are my DREAM nominees.

    Outstanding Drama series:
    The 100 - winner
    The Affair
    The Good Wife
    Game of Thrones
    Orange is The New Black
    Marvel's Daredevil

Out of these, The 100 and Daredevil are the most outlandish to make the nominations (and even more so the win for The 100), but hey, I can dream. Aside fro that, my other 4 dream nominations have high chances of being there.

    Outstanding Comedy series:
    The Middle - Winner
    Unbreakable Kimmy Schimidt
    Fresh off The Boat
Community (though this was an off season for me)
    Brooklyn Nine-Nine
New Girl (which managed to recover from the dreadful season 3).

Here my dreams nominees are more likely to remain as dreams. The Middle won't be making it since Modern Family will continue to use the spot (and likely win). Cable series such as Sillicon Valley, Girls and Veep will make it, and possibly Jane The Virgin.

    ReplyDelete
  26. What? Only Paige and Adina?
Henry Ian Cusick had a strong episode to submit (Resurrection), as did Issaiah Washintong (Fog of War) and many others.
I'm quite shocked with the lack of ballots.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Im having my hopes up for Jane The Virgin to go into that Oustanding Comedy series as well as Gina having a Nom for best comedy actress. I can see Parks and Recreation there too and Amy Poehler and as every year year Veep and Julia Louis-Dreyfus

    ReplyDelete
  28. They could have at least submitted their opening sequence for Outstanding Main Title Design. And I think they should have tried some other categories as well. Last year, they submitted the season 1 finale for Oustanding Writing but they didn't even bother this year.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Paige Turco submitted as lead actress for The 100. It's ironic given that Abby always used to think she was the leader of her people, while in reality it was her daughter. Now the actress seems to make the same mistake.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Last year, none of the actors submitted for Performing. I have no idea why. It's weird that only Paige and Adina have submitted. Paige also submitted in the wrong category, as a lead actress.

    ReplyDelete
  31. After skimming through all of those nominees, I don't think I'll ever talk crap about the Emmy's again. I couldn't have that job.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I don't watch any comedies so if I put N/A in all of those submission boxes will my drama picks still count?

    ReplyDelete
  33. No Amy Acker in supporting actress or Michael Emerson = will be watching another form of programing not called the emmy's that night. especially for Amy, can someone get this women an emmy please ?!

    ReplyDelete
  34. At least she can act and she is actually in every episode. She might not be the lead but she is a main character. The same cannot be said of Mr. Maguire.

    ReplyDelete
  35. This took a while. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  36. I don't have the patience or watching of television anymore to fill out the form but I really hope Kyle McLachlan (AoS) gets a nomination for best guest performance of drama. He took the character of Mr. Hyde to another level to where I did not care that we were not getting a giant CGI monster. But unfortunately his performance took place on a sci-fi/fantasy/comic book show and the Emmy voters tend to forget that they exist outside of the technical categories, unless you happen to be on HBO. I would be happy if any of the comic book shows received a nomination outside of the technical categories.

Another dream nominee would be Jaime Camil for JTV. His performance was phenomenal.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I can imagine lol. I have yet to think about it myself. Thanks for your submission!

    ReplyDelete
  38. They will absolutely still count! But I guess you already figured that out ;)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Some great choices here! Thanks for the long comment, looking forward to seeing your submission in the form!

    ReplyDelete
  41. You should check out eligibility. Some people you are predicting arent eligible and others are for the wrong categories

    ReplyDelete
  42. Now my show nominations, for the main caterogies as I don't watch variety or reality shows

Predicted: American Crime, America Horror Story, The Honorable Woman, The Missing, Olive Kitteridge, Wolf Hall

    ReplyDelete
  43. I've submitted it now, I based a lot of the predicted on the previous years. Even though certain shows are way past their best the Emmys do seem to love nominating every year.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Jim Caviezel and Taraji P. Henson deserve a nomination for their performance in Person of Interest's Terra Incognita. It was outstanding.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yeah, sadly some shows just can't seem to stop getting Emmy love even though they don't always deserve it.

    ReplyDelete
  46. One day, I'd like to see Stephen Amell getting some recognition outside of teen choice awards or what have you.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I don't watch enough series to nominate objectively. I just hope Constance Wu (fresh off the boat) will be nominated as well as Eden Sher (the middle). Jane the Virgin and Kimmy Schmidt deserve it too (but I have no worries) and please, give Parenthood some credit ^^

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hestia Prytaneum16 June 2015 at 23:33

I know ;) But still James could win, the show i don't think so...

  51. Goodbye Revenge, ∞x∞17 June 2015 at 03:31

Guess which show I'm choosing for best drama? The most suspenseful and brilliant show this year... REVENGE!!! And of course I nominate Emily VanCamp for best lead actress. Gabriel Mann for best lead actor. Best supporting actress Madeleine Stowe, Elle Satine, Christa Allen, and Karine Vanesse. For best supporting actors Josh Bowman, Nick Wechsler, and James Tupper. Best guest actress Gina Torres! Best guest actor goes to Courtney Love!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I don't think I'll submit the form, buuuut I'll pitch in the conversation here :D

I'm hoping VEEP gets all the love in the comedy caterogy.
    JLD for lead obviously!
Anna for supporting (and I'm hoping she wins. In fact if there is one win I would undoubtedly allot to the show would be this, because I'm sorry but as steadily stellar as JLD is, this year belonged to Amy and Anna killed it!)
In supporting male Tony Hale is always a solid contender, but honestly this season, Ben was also a standout so I'm crossing my fingers Kevin Dunn gets some love (at the very least a nomination!).
The Academy also loves Hugh Laurie, and they do kinda owe him an Emmy from his work on House... so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a nom for guest starring in a comedy, nor if he wins.

I'm hoping Jonathan Banks gets at least the nod for Better Call Saul. It was a weird show, and I would be okay because of that if it the show itself didn't get anything else. But when Mike was on screen it was at it's best and that needs needs to be recognised.

I never watched the show, so I can't say I care but I'm sure Mad Men will get a last round of awards as a farewell...

I'd also love it if Brooklyn 9-9 got some love. And I think Andre with his previous Emmy wins might be the most "recognizable" name in the lot and has a chance in scoring at the very least a "supporting actor in comedy" nom (and "recognizability" aside it would be 100% deserved).

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wait? Hugh Laurie sumbitted in supporting actor, not guest?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Haha its OK yeah I was surprised to see him in supporting, but the new guidelines means he can't be a guest. Such a shame because he would have won in that category.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I would say that Veep will get a lot of love. Julia is a lock but Anna has been nominated for the last 2 Emmys so she will get nominated and hopefully a win. Ben has been my favourite this year as well, I think Hugh Laurie and Tony Hale will get the noms though.

Jonathan Banks seems very likely if the Emmy continue to show the world of Breaking Bad love and I would be very surprised if they didn't. Also they wisely submitted BCS as a drama and not a comedy and the Five-O episode is the perfect showcase for Banks.

Andre Braugher got nominated last year, I hope he gets one again.

Tatiana Maslany has no chance :( I've given up on even hoping.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Thanks for submitting Pablo! I believe most of them are eligible, only exception I can see so far is Hugh Dancy since Hannibal falls outside of the elibility period.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Great choices here! Thanks for submitting!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Its like when Rob Lowe used to submit himself as lead actor for Parks and Recreation, when he was never a lead! Its weird, maybe its an actor ego thing.

    ReplyDelete
  59. But in this case this guy wasn't even a regular on the show, he was a guest star. I gotta think it was some sort of typo when filling out the paperwork or something lol, seems crazy!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Allison Janney should and will win, yes, but I think it is unfair that she is entering herself in this category. She was a co-lead on the show this year 100% with Anna, and there is no chance any of the actual supporting ladies even had the material to compete with her. I think she is doing it out of respect for Anna or something but I think they should go ahead and assume that they are both leads. She would win the lead category as well for sure anyway.

I am not sure whether she will be nominated this time for MoS since she did just one episode last season, which was the season premiere. She had amazing scenes during that one episode so I think she deserves it for sure but she had way more exposure in Season 1 when she had an entire arc to play out and appeared in several episodes. Still, the scenes from 2x01 alone were poignant enough to warrant it, imo.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Here comes drama now. Again, dream winners are underlined.

    Oustanding Drama Series
Expected: Better Call Saul | Downtown Abbey | Empire | Game of Thrones | House of Cards | Mad Men | Orange is the New Black

Dream Andrew Lincoln (The Walking Dead) | Dominic West (The Affair) | Grant Gustin (The Flash) | Justin Theroux (The Leftovers) | Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex) | Terrence Howard (Empire)

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series
Expected: Claire Danes (Homeland) | Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife) | Robin Wright (House of Cards) | Ruth Wilson (The Affair) | Taraji P. Henson (Empire) | Viola Davis (How to Get Away with Murder)
Dream: Claire Danes (Homeland) | Juliana Margulies (The Good Wife) | Kerry Washington (Scandal) | Ruth Wilson (The Affair) | Taraji P. Henson (Empire) | Viola Davis (How to Get Away with Murder)

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series

Expected: Christina Hendricks (Mad Men) | Christine Baranski (The Good Wife) | Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) | Maggie Smith (Downtown Abbey) | Sissy Spaceck (Bloodline) | Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black)
Dream: Amy Acker (Person of Interest) | Carrie Coon (The Leftovers) | Christine Baranski (The Good Wife) | Lana Parilla (Once Upon a Time) | Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) | Maura Tierney (The Affair)

    ReplyDelete
  62. Maybe you're right and she's doing it out of respect for Anna Faris. I don't seer Faris getting a nomination though. Janney would most certainly get a nomination in the lead category as well.

She did submit for MoS so she could grab another nomination. Well, at least that gives Cicely Tyson more chance of being nominated. She is considered one of the frontrunners, but still.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Again, great predictions and wishes! Viola Davis absolutely deserves a nomination and I hope she can win. I also wish James Spader gets nominated for Lead Actor, but I suppose since he got snubbed last year he will be snubbed again this year.

I noticed you did not include your dream nominees for drama series (and comedy series also). Is that because you don't know what to choose or will you write them in a seperate comment?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Yes i agree that Anna is sadly a long shot but i think she deserves it for this year, she was amazing the entire year and especially in the second half.

I think AJ would actually win the lead category as well, not only get a nomination.

I think Cicely Tyson is getting the nom no matter what, no? I admit i dont dwell into the guest categories as much

    ReplyDelete
  65. Thanks! I think Viola Davis is a sure thing to be nominated and I think it is a race between her and Taraji for the win. I didn't expect Taraji to beat her with the critics actually so at this point I have no idea which one of the two will take it home. Ruth Wilson could upset it and take it home but I find it less likely.

As for no dream nominees in the series categories, to be honest, I hadn't decided whether I would do them later or not. Probably not. I just find it too hard. While in the acting categories I find it easier to be objective (obviously while still taking into account my personal preferences, but like be objective within my personal preferences, if that makes sense), in the series categories I find that much harder. The trade-off between what is a quality (as in best) and is favorite is hard for me to make. I can for instance say that Once Upon a Time as much I love it, is not worthy of one of these. And I can say that while there are shows I like more, Homeland Season 4 absolutely must be here. But those are kind of extreme cases. The lines in between get blurred for me. Does that make sense? I don't like to pretend to be objective when I am not really sure I can!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Amazing predictions.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Thanks. Some of the races are very tough. The lead actress category is insane!

    ReplyDelete
  68. So true. It's CRAZY

    ReplyDelete
  69. The part of me that had to actually compile a list of dream nominees sort of appreciates the fact lol. I would have had to include Hugh Dancy for sure and bump someone and then I would have to consider Mads as well.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I think she deserves it too. I have in my dream nominees.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Are you publishing yours? I am curious.

    ReplyDelete
  72. He submitted as supporting so I think that hurts his chances. He should have gone with guest.

    ReplyDelete
  73. On the comedy, our predictions are close enough, but I have UKS and Louie taking up the slots you have for Jane the Virgin and Shameless.

On the drama side, we have all the same except that I think Game of Thrones bumps The Affair out of the race!

But wow only 3 disagreements is very close!

    ReplyDelete
  74. I get where you're coming from. It's just the difference between favourites and best shows you're watcing. For example, Breaking Bad might be one of the best shows every made, but it's not my favorite (I should say 'not yet' as I haven't finished it). Likewise, NCIS is one of my favorites but I also know there are far better shows out there. It would almost feel like a crime to put NCIS as a dream nominee while I watch superior shows.

Having said that, I think you can be as subjective as you like with your dream nominees. It's still your call of course whether or not you submit any of them.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Yes, those are exactly the kind of trade offs I am refering to. I can still put together a list but even chosing among my favorites is super hard and I inevitably feel hard pressed to make choices that favor the best and not my favorite, and then it gets weird again. I will probably submit the form later today and we'll see.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I think you sadly hit the outstanding dramas right on the money.

    ReplyDelete
  77. The biggest difficulty I had on that category was The Affair. I think it has a legitimate chance of making it but I can't decide which show is going to be dropped to make room for it. Empire feels the most likely but apparently the entire industry has decided to award the show as much as possible so I don't feel at easy betting against it. They could also take out Orange is the New Black if they feel it hasn't done enough drama wise to remain in contention. The others I find less likely to be dropped. Maybe Better Call Saul but they loved Breaking Bad so much that I am not sure why they would not like this one. Still, The Affair was the golden globe winner after all and that usually means it should have a shot, though not always (B99 won last year and it didn't even have a nomination for the Emmys).

The other possibilities I think are way more long shot, like The Good Wife, The Americans or Homeland.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I definitely think Downtown Abbey and House of Cards should be out. Empire will sadly make the cut because for some reason they want it to have as many nominations as possible. I'm okay with OITNB and Mad Men being nominated, but their are far better deserving shows. The only 2 deserving ones are Better Call Saul and GoT.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I haven't watched this season's House of Cards yet so I can't comment on that one. The others are mostly shows I don't watch either. I do like The Affair a lot so I would rather have that one than the ones I don't watch. Out of this bunch, my support is definitely thrown behind GOT, 100%.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Everyone who has seen season 3 of House of Cards say it's good, but definitely the worst season. I still think The Americans will get nominated, it has finally been getting recognized this year and I think Homeland or The Affair will make it as well.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Who is not making it then? House of Cards will for sure make it and I think it is a tie between itself and Mad Men for who takes it (GOT is a dark horse).

    ReplyDelete
  82. I definitely don't think Downtown Abbey will be nominated and I would also take out OITNB.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Don't sound like stretches to me, but I still find them more likely to be included than not. We shall see.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Probably right, but it shouldn't be that way. That's why I get really disappointed with the Emmy's.

    ReplyDelete
  85. There was a rule change this year where if you appeared in more than half the episodes, you must be submitted in the supporting category, probably in an effort to avoid what happened with Orange is the New Black last year. I just checked the Marvel wiki and he was in 13 episodes this season and therefore disqualifying him from the other category . I didn't realize it was that many appearances. I thought he would just be under the limit.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I wonder how close we will be to the real noms! I did wonder if Louie and UKS would be nominated for comedy but I do think JTV has a real chance and Shameless seems to be a show they like. But its tough narrowing it down. Lots of new shows this year with a chance.

I almost put GOT but I think The Affair may break through beyond the acting nods. Again hard to tell especially as hype about The Affair was quite a long time ago in TV land.

    ReplyDelete
  87. These are nominations I would really love to see:
Chris Messina, Mindy Kaling, Rhea Perlman & The Mindy Project
    Tatiana Maslany
The Americans, Matthew Rhys, Keri Russell
Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams, Kit Harrington
    Ellen Pompeo
Jane the Virgin, Gina Rodriguez, Jaime Camill
Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, Bates Motel
The Flash, Grant Gustin, Tom Cavanagh
    Jon Hamm (for UKS)

..and how I wish The Newsroom would show up somewhere, in some category.

    ReplyDelete
  88. If there wasn't an issue with it adding hours over hours to the award ceremony, I say they should have a separate category for reccurring actors....

    ReplyDelete
  89. Anna having been nominated before is very reassuring to me because it shows she is on people's radars, and I'm fairly confident she will at least get the nod. But I think this year I need her to win! Girlfriend killed herself delivering awesomeness week in week out...
Honestly the show deserves all the love, but as I said, if they told me "VEEP can only get one nom and only one win this season. Which should it be?" I'd give it to Anna no contest!

I adore Hugh! Adore him... but getting a nom (or a win) over anyone else in the main cast will bug me a tad... (but maybe next year he might be eligible for the "lead actor in comedy" ;D )

I do hope the Breaking Bad legacy help JB out. He deserves it. And Five-O was the standout episode, not only for him but of the whole season too IMO.

I'd totally forgotten Andre got the nomination last season. He is an Emmy darling, so I shouldn't be surprised. But the work he does on B99 is totally worth it, and he had some great moments this year to warrant at least the nomination.
I'm painfully aware that Tatiana isn't ever getting anything... I still need to point out how much she deserves the recognition though, so she'll always be on my wishlist, even if I know she won't actually make the cut...

So the google drive stopped working and the erased everything I had :( there goes 45 minutes I'll never get back lol

    ReplyDelete
  91. Absolutely, but it might be a few days until I choose my own submissions. I'll let you know when I do.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Oh that's too bad. I believe the form works fine, but if you have trouble submitting again, let me know. That is, if you want to try again lol.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Amy Acker is a popular choice.

  94. Matthew Zamora17 June 2015 at 21:45

Thanks! I probably will... just not today lol

    ReplyDelete
  95. I think The Affair has a very good chance of screwing my predictions and if there is one show I really didn't know whether or not to include it is that one but I highly doubt GOT is the one that gets knocked out for it. I think Mad Men, House of Cards and GOT are set no matter what, I would be very surprised otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Ah that makes total sense, I had forgoten about the rule, thanks!

anyone have prediction for outstanding limited series...... I have a feeling 24 LAD have a chance to get nomiated

    ReplyDelete
  98. I'm fairly certain American Horror Story and American Crime will be nominated. Probably in the acting categories as well.

Maybe if 24 was called American 24 it would have a shot lol. Honestly, I think it could go either way. It's been almost a year since it aired and people might have kind of forgotten about it.

I would just love if Person of Interest won any of the awards, get people to notice the show more. It definitely deserves some awards.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I thought he could still make it. Such a shame :(

    ReplyDelete
  101. Which ones? So far I only realized Hugh Dancy wasn't eligible

    ReplyDelete
  102. And what are your predictions for Outstanding Drama and Comedy Series?

    ReplyDelete
  103. I posted them in a separate comment here https://disqus.com/home/discussion/spoilertvhome/the_2015_emmy_awards_submit_your_predictions_and_dream_nominees/#comment-2082260976

    ReplyDelete
  104. I predicted American Crime, America Horror Story, The Honorable Woman, The Missing, Olive Kitteridge, Wolf Hall. I think Olive Kitteridge or Wolf Hall we will. I would love 24 to get a nom though.

    ReplyDelete
  105. He appeared in 50% of VEEP's episodes this season. He has to enter as supporting according to the new rules.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Yup, as you see I put two and two together after the original shock. I'd momentarily forgotten about how they changed that rule.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I've finally submitted it, but I got a weird message at the end. Daniel, could you be so as kind as to confirm me that the submission went through? Many thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  108. I have received your submission, omabin! Thanks for participating!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Thanks! And thank you for doing it ;)

  111. It's really fun running this! BTW, I submitted my predictions in a new comment above (or below).

Also, the weird message you got at the end, was in Dutch. I had forgotten to change that to English, which should be fixed now.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I will check them out now!

Ah Dutch, that makes sense ahah!

  117. Nominations will be disappointing as always. The same shows are always nominated, the others can go suck it.

    ReplyDelete
  118. How is this going to work Daniel? Will you reveal the collective results of our wishes and predictions? Or will you wait for the actual nominations to see who was closest/ had most wishes fulfilled?

    ReplyDelete
  119. The first option. I will reveal the collective results of the predictions and wishes. The article will be published between now and two weeks from here.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Cool. Looking forward to it
