Game of Thrones - Season 6 - Character Predictions

4 Jul 2015

Season 5 ended a few week's ago and I thought I'd share with you some basic predictions for Season 6. I wanted to get something out before the new casting is announced and before production starts. I will update my predictions once the news of who the characters are gets released and will go into more detail than I have now - include which storyline I think they'll be tied to and so on.

New Characters: Lord of a Noble Northern House & Lord of a Northern Stronghold

We know two Northern Lords are being cast and I wanted to give a quick overview on this. I think there's a real chance that one of them could be from House Umber. We've already seen the Greatjon Umber on the show; he was one of the few bannermen who wasn't present at the time of the Red Wedding. He escaped it, meaning his return to the show isn't unrealistic. They could be recasting the role or they could be casting his son, Smalljon Umber. I personally would love to see Greatjon Umber return as well as Clive Mantle who portrayed him. He was excellent in the role. The casting description for the Lord of a Northern house reads "A massive bear of a man with a beard and temper to match" - that would fit into the recent portrayal of Greatjon so he or his son seems the most likely character for the role.

Another possibility for one of the Northern Lords, is someone from House Glover or perhaps House Manderly . We've already seen Galbart Glover on the show - remember the "Renly is not right" line from him when Robb was declared King in the North - so it wouldn't be too much of stretch to bring him back into the show. I could also see us seeing White Harbor at one point so maybe someone from House Manderly could fit the Northern Lord role. Wyman Manderly seems the most likely Lord if they were to bring in the Manderlys. I'm sure though whichever Lords they bring in they'll be involved in either, Littlefinger, Brienne, Sansa or the Boltons story arc for season 6.

There is of course another option, and that is, Howland Reed. Howland is a close friend of the deceased Ned Stark for anyone wondering. The reason I think he's a possibility is because there has been speculation that we might be seeing a Tower of Joy flashback in the upcoming season. Currently, Howland Reed is the only one still alive who went to the Tower and who also witnessed Eddard's promise to Lyanna Stark (his sister). Many fans have speculated on what the promise was and many think it's this, but in the end the only point including him in the season would be if Jon returned. I'm not even sure who would meet with him but I think if they were to talk about the Tower of Joy maybe hearing it from someone who was there might be a good idea. Maybe when he's talking we see a flashback of it? It's just a thought.

As for the Lord of a Northern Stronghold, I think there is only one option for that. I think we will be seeing a Karstark. Lord Rickard Karstark was executed by Robb Stark for killing the two Lannister boys back in Season 3. His death caused the Karstarks to march home resulting in Robb having no choice but to ask the Freys for support - which ultimately resulted in Robb Starks death at the Twins. Now, both of Rickards sons are dead so the Karkstark we would be seeing would have to be Arnolf Karstark. He has a decent role in the books, but that's tied into Stannis's story arc. However, they could make Littlefinger or even Sansa come across Arnoff in the show. He could even be involved in the Boltons upcoming storyline for season 6. The writers like connecting storylines with different characters than the book so this might be one of them times. There is of course another option, where Stannis is still living, but I highly doubt he is.

Arnoff isn't the Lord of Karhold which is the only problem - as Alys (Rickards daughter) would become heiress of Karhold seeing as both her brothers and father are now dead. This Lord is the hardest to predict, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

Brienne of Tarth

Two things can happen with Brienne I think. She'll either head back to her outpost and then see the candle lit in the window realizing she failed Catelyn Stark by choosing vengeance over loyalty - this could give Brienne some room for character development. She will then try to get inside Winterfell to help Sansa without actually knowing she's not there. This could lead to a standoff with Ramsey. I can hope, can't I?

The other possibility is she'll get back to her outpost and see nothing again and then she might head off back to King's Landing or to locate Jaime. Although, I doubt this will happen seeing as protecting Sansa is about the only thing she's got to do.

She might even cross paths with Sansa and Theon whilst heading back to the outpost, which is, of course, another possible outcome I see happening. If they do meet up perhaps Brienne will help Sansa locate her brothers? She might even take Sansa to the Riverlands where her great uncle could be.

Cersei and Robert Strong A.K.A The Mountain

Spoilers: Book readers were surprised that both Pycelle and Kevan weren't killed off in the finale and that the man behind these two deaths, Varys, was far from King's Landing. This was obviously intentional. There wasn't a need to bring Varys to King's Landing when he was so close to Danearys - also now he can join in with Tyrion's storyline. I do think both Pycelle and Kevan are dead men walking and I'm quite sure that Cersei will now be behind their deaths.

Cersei is broken after her walk of atonement and in season 6 she will return stronger than ever and I'm sure she'll get rid of all those who have wronged her and who she dislikes. This includes Pycelle and Kevan. Whilst she won't kill them herself, The Mountain will on her orders.

Cersei will also have her trial - remember the walk was just part of her punishment. Now The Mountain has been resurrected, I think she'll take a trial by combat where The Mountain will represent her. There is a theory that book readers would love to see called "cleganebowl" where the Hound returns and faces The Mountain. I know he's meant to be dead but we didn't see his death and he was still alive when we last saw him. Anything's possible. I won’t explain where the Hound possibly is but if you google either cleganebowl or gravedigger with Game of Thrones at the end you’ll find out.

Daenerys, Jorah and Daerio

Daenerys will once again find herself in no man's land and she will try to gain an alliance with the Dothraki. All she really has to do is show them her dragon, but it won't be that simple as it's Game of Thrones. She will probably have to marry one of them and you can count on her bringing up Khal Drogo at some point. The Dothraki will eventually join her and she'll head back to Meereen to gather her forces where she'll finally start heading towards King's Landing.

Daario I think might turn out to be behind the Sons of the Harpy. I've never trusted him and it sure would provide a shocking twist if it turns out to be true. I think he'll kill Jorah in the process. Jorah is a dead man walking currently and I could definitely see him dying by Daario's hands - in front of Daenerys of course. If he doesn't die at Daario's hands he will die another way. I can't see him making it through the season especially now after him getting greyscale. Expect a heartbreaking death if I were you. Both Jorah and Daario will, of course, catch up to Daenerys at some point during the season but it won't be until a few episodes into the season - expect some awkward conversations between them before hand.

Someone on reddit mentioned something interesting: In the pit, it was strange how the harpy's killed Hizdahr and no one else important. Daario wasn't a fan of him and might have been jealous that she was marrying Hizdahr and not him. Also, Daario wanted to gather all the masters in the pit - Daenerys declined, yet they did anyway with the fighting that was going on. This sounds like a good enough reason and surely the person behind the Sons of the Harpy is going to turn out to be someone we know and I’m putting my money on it being him.

Jon Snow

He'll be resurrected eventually, but I don't think it will be in Season 6. It might happen in the finale but not sooner. The reason I say this is because I can see the White Walkers somehow getting over the wall first. Now would be the time for them to strike as three of the people who knew how to kill them are gone/dead. It has to happen at some point after so much build up to it and there is no better time than now.

As for Jon, when Kit said he's dead he genuinely meant it. Jon Snow is dead. There is no question about it, but the question is how long he’ll remain dead. There has been speculation for years as to who would revive Jon and a lot point towards Mellisandre being the one to do it. She’s been proven as a false prophet and for some reason I have a hard time believing she’s capable of something as big as a resurrection. Then again, Thoros of Meyhr was at his lowest when he brought back Beric for the first time so since Mellisandre is at her lowest point – questioning everything – it might be possible. It would certainly redeem her for what she did to the Baratheons. I can't see us losing our POV at the wall but we might want to prepare ourselves in case he doesn't come back at all.

Littlefinger

Littlefinger was last seen at King's Landing, but I think he's quickly left there and headed back to the Vale where he's received the news of Stannis's failed attempt at taking Winterfell. As the Boltons are supposed to be in an alliance with him if he should attack them it would be surprising and unexpected - they wouldn't see it coming. Rupert Vansittart is coming back for two episodes as Yohan Royce - a key member at the Vale – so that could indicate that Littlefinger will be gathering his forces and riding for Winterfell (obviously he wouldn't do any fighting.)

Another possibility is - which can be connected with the one above - is that he'll uncover the news of Sansa escaping from the Boltons and use that knowledge to his advantage. Whilst I think it will be Sansa who meets some of the Northern Lords, I also think there's a chance he could. Littlefinger, with his army from the Vale, could inform the Northern Lords of her escape which would then break their allegiance to the Boltons - remember they're only serving them whilst a Stark is there. He could manipulate them into joining him so he can take Winterfell. He's going to make a power play somehow this season and I just think it will involve Winterfell.

I think there's also a good chance that he'll be on the receiving end of some manipulation from Sansa. She'll use him to gain Winterfell and then push him out after having secretly arranged a deal with some of the Northern Lords.

Ramsey & Roose Bolton

It's gotten to the stage where I don't care who kills them I just want the Boltons dead and out of power. They're a traitorous house and I had hoped Stannis would be the one to kill them, but since he failed, I hope someone else does in Season 6. I'd like to think that either Littlefinger has something planned or the country somehow rallies behind Sansa.

Realistically though, Ramsay will leave Winterfell to hunt down both Theon and Sansa. They're his possessions and after Theon killed Myranda he'll want vengeance. If he doesn't locate Sansa, the Boltons will be in trouble as the minute any Northern houses learn of Sansa leaving, they won't follow them. The houses are only following the Boltons because a Stark is by their side. They might even obtain a girl and pose her as Sansa while they try to find her; I could see them doing that. Also, Ramsay, I think will kill his father and his stepmother, Walda. With a son on the way, Ramsay will lose everything he wants and I can't see him letting that happen.

Whatever happens with the Boltons, I'm pretty certain they wont be in possession of Winterfell come the end of the season or even still alive.

Sam and Gilly

They'll head to Oldtown. Sam will go to the citadel as planned, but first they will stop off at his hometown, Horn Hill. This is where we'll meet his family. It’s not confirmed but going by the new casting information it sounds a lot like they're casting his mother, brother and father. Also, they might be casting one of his sisters as well. Should Sam and Gilly go there I could see her staying with his family while he goes to pursue being a maester. It would be safe for her and he can rest easy knowing she's in good company.

I also think at one point news of Jon's death will reach Sam which will crush him, but I think he'll still continue with becoming a maester. Now that both Stannis and Jon have fallen, Sam is the only one left who knows how to kill the White Walkers. Sam will play a vital role in what’s to come, I think.

Theon and Sansa

Firstly, they obviously survive the jump. Their pairing is an unusual one, but I think they will stick with each other for a while at least; they might even cross paths with Brienne and Podrick. Sansa will want to look for her brothers so they could go to some of the remaining Northern house, after what she's been through, I'm not sure she'll trust anyone. On the other hand, Theon might take her to Pike as speculation is arising that a certain Greyjoy is being cast. He might even part ways with her and head back to his homeland alone, though I'm not sure what he'd do there if he did.

What I would like to see is for the Tullys to be reintroduced into the story. I'd love to see Sansa find her great uncle, Blackfish Tully; one of the few men alive she could trust and who escaped the brutal Red Wedding. He could help her gain a following in the North - remember, once the Northerners learn of Sansa's escape from Winterfell the country would rally to her side as just about every Northerner despises the Boltons for betraying the Starks. Two Northern Lords have been cast so it's not entirely out of the question.

Another possibility (similar to the one above) is that Sansa and Theon, or perhaps just Sansa, will reconnect with Littlefinger and his army from the Vale - I imagine he'll be making his move on Winterfell in Season 6. The Boltons have to be pushed out at some point and I could see his army taking Winterfell, killing the Boltons in the process. Littlefinger and Sansa could also get the Northern Lords on their side and then once they've taken it, Sansa could betray Littlefinger - this would be similar to him betraying Ned by having a prearranged deal with the Northern Lords who we know are being cast. This means once they take Winterfell, the Northern Lords and their men will push out the Vale army from within, giving Sansa back her home and full control of it.

Tyrion and Varys

Having Tyrion and Varys back together is a smart move by the writers. They have an odd connection but it contains a fun banter which makes it highly enjoyable for a viewer to see. I'm not sure what they’ll be doing during the season but I'd like to think they will discover who's behind the Harpy attack. We don't know as of yet but if anyone's capable of finding it out it's those two. Also, as Tyrion is in charge he might, make a few changes to Meereen and bring it back to its former glory - Tyrion does have his way with words and he might actually get the city back to being civilized.

Something also worthy of noting is that a priestess is being cast and it's looking likely that she might be involved with Tyrion's storyline in the upcoming season thanks to a leaked audition video. I'm not sure what she'd do, but perhaps she'll be similar to Mellisandre, declare Daenarys the chosen one and start spreading that belief around Meereen. Apart from that, I can’t see what else they’ll be doing this season.

Everyone Else

I think Cersei's only living child, Tommen, will meet his end this season. It was prophesied and while the show's not entirely followed what Maggy the Frog said it's close enough to it if Tommen dies. Also, with us getting closer to the show's end I'm certain the Lannisters will be pushed out of King's Landing at some point and now would be a good time to have Cersei as the last (Known) Lannister at King's Landing.

Margaery and Loras will be freed eventually and once that happens, I'd like to think they would make a secret alliance with another house to remove the Lannisters from power. Cersei made it personal and, Olenna especially won't, let that stand. She'll do something, I'm sure of it. I'm just not sure what. On a different subject, I would absolutely love to see Highgarden at one point - It's the only major place that's been mentioned that we haven't seen yet but I doubt it will be included in Season 6. Maybe Season 7.

Arya will continue her training with the Faceless Men, accepting her punishment for breaking the rules. I'm not too sure what she'll be doing, but I highly doubt if, come the end of Season 6, she'll still be in Braavos and remain blind.

As for Bran Stark, he was absent for Season 5 so will likely be featured quite a lot during Season 6. We will probably hear more about the three-eyed raven and he will learn of what else he can do. Bran's storyline for me, personally, has been the least interesting so I haven't been paying much attention to it but he's going to have a vision of something big happening in the future at some point in the season.

Lastly, we have Bronn and Jaime. This is the hardest one to predict as Season 5's storyline for Jaime and Bronn was solely to get Myrcella, but since that failed, they could do anything. They do have a hostage of sorts but I doubt they would do anything to Trystane. They could either head back to King's Landing or they could head to Mereen. It's a long shot but fans have provided excellent theories on why they'd go there. Realistically, they will head back to King's Landing where Jaime will await the wrath of Cersei who will possibly even declare war on Dorne - but that's a huge jump. I think Bronn will be done if they get back to King's Landing. He won't stick around and with Jerome Flynn starring in Ripper Street - which just got a two season renewal - he won't have much time to do two shows. Cersei might send Jaime to the Riverlands where he went in books but at this point there’s not much point.

A lot of characters are unpredictable and it has become increasingly difficult to predict anything now that the show has caught up to the books. A lot of character's storylines don’t seem to be heading anywhere whilst others could be heading for a key part in season 6.

As always, thank you for reading! Let me know in the comments some things you'd like to see happen and things that you think will happen.

  1. I'm terrible at predicting things but I thought I'd give it a go. So, what do you think will happen in season 6? What would you like to see happen?

  2. Awesome article Robert! Could you imagine if Daerio was behind the Sons of the Harpy? That would be insane but could be plausable. I hope Brienne comes across Sansa at some point, and I'm looking forward to seeing what season 6 has in store for Cersei. I've already started preparing myself for the possibility of no Jon Snow but love your assessment of what will happen with him in the future. In fact, I loved all of your assessments and I could totally see the majority happening. Great article for Game of Thrones, very much needed as I really am feeling the pain of its absence until April :(

  3. I really doubt that Jon is ever coming back, literally EVERYONE is speculating on this and the writers are betting on sensationalism, thus he'll just stay dead

  4. I'm not too sure what to think to be honest. I think there's a 50/50. Resurrections have happened on the show before so it's not entirely out of the question and we know it is possible to bring someone back.

I really though can't see Melisandre having any involvement if it should ever happen. Either way it wouldn't bother me too much if he is 100% dead but all these fan theories sound plausible.

The actress said in an interview something spectacular happens with Melisandre in Season 6 but that could be anything really.

  5. The thing is: he's well liked. Game of Thrones has made a brand out of crushing your soul by killing the least likely characters. Jons death sparked the hope for ressurection in everybodies mind, every news outlett is speculating on it.
And given Game of Thrones being what it is they'll do the exact opposite from what everybody wants

  6. Thanks Gavin! It would definitely be a shock if he was but not for me seeing as I think he is behind them. I originally thought it was Hizdahr behind the attacks but then he got killed at the games. It has to be someone we know, surely? That would be better I think that having it be someone new and unheard of.

I've also prepared myself in case Jon doesn't return. All these fan theories sound plausible though and have given me hope he'll be back but it wouldn't bother me if he didn't return.

  7. That's why I never get invested into a character on Game of Thrones because one minute they're alive the next they're dead. I have lost so many characters over the five seasons that I liked.

Book readers have had lots of theories for years now as to why he could come back but the writers have changed so much from the book, like you said, they might not bother doing what everybody wants.

  8. had a blast reading your predictions. My own thought on Brienne would be that she would get back to her waiting post and Podrick would tell her about the candle and they would set out and accidentally run into Sansa and Theon ( after all, who is more adept at running into major characters than our Brienne- uncanny, that woman) whom they then assist as Ramsey bears down on them. As for myself, I light a small candle each night in hope that Ramsey and Roose are not long for this world - if it takes a whole season to kill them it will be 9 episodes too long to wait for myself. The power politics that will play out in the North will probably take all season, but I hope the end result is Sansa standing strong on the walls of Winterfell. Cersi will probably have a feeding frenzy of blood. I know all the deaths of our favorites hurt and Weiss and Benioff delight in our pain, but keeping Jon Snow dead would just be flat out stupid as the story then has a huge gaping hole that no one else can fill. I agree that their post season fatalistic comments could just be about Season 6 and that Jon might return somehow in Season 7 - and I do not really care how they get him back - just get him back - the story makes no sense with him truly gone forever. To fully complete the epic saga he has to return to play a key part - otherwise, just shoot yourself in the other foot GOT while you are at it.

  9. Thanks a lot for this! Such a fun read! I am not a book reader so I always feel at a disadvantage when discussing this show but I loved reading about it!

  10. You're welcome. I'm not great at predicting things but I thought I'd give it a shot. I read the first three books years ago but never considered myself a book reader seeing as I never finished them. I also didn't want to be spoiled by others if I mentioned I'd read the books.

I'm still reading/listening to the last book but some of the things such as Pycelle and Kevan I got spoiled on so I just looked it up myself after that. Some of the theories fans come up with are quite interesting.

  11. Thanks!

I actually mentioned on reddit one day how bizarre it is to have Brienne run into everyone she is looking for. I mean she has literally seen everyone she wants to find, it's a bit stupid. I also think them running into Sansa and Theon is a possibility. She needs to have something to in season 6 and her joining with Sansa would make the most sense to me.

I really want the North to be back in the hands of the Starks. I can't stand the Bolton's. Hopefully, they can get rid of them as soon as possible but like you said they'll probably be around until episode 9. I can't really see them having an early season death with no one set to attack them or anything.

Jon is an important pov character and the only one we could really follow at the wall so keeping him dead wouldn't the greatest of decisions but then again when have Weiss and Benioff done right by the fans. I'm not too angry myself that's he possibly gone for good but there is a lot more to explore with Jon and he can play a vital role in the battle that I'm sure is yet to come.

  12. I'm not sure because of some things I think have to be "truer" than other things. What I mean is, the title of the sags is "A Song of Ice and Fire", thus Jon Snow and Dany are the two polar extremes that are highly thematic should be on a collision course or end up having major relationship to each other, as they have one of the most unique juxtpositions in terms of their characters, disposition, personality, morality, and situations written in contrast.
Plus the books are written in POV. Jon is the only POV and continuous POV on the wall--so without him, it would be rather abrupt for GRRM to suddenly make someone else a POV. I know there are several differences at this point, but at the same time those differences could just be future and past plots inverted and not as different as they currently appear. I think since they warned us that the some of the tv series will spoil the upcoming novels, that I think if main characters like Jon Snow are meant to make it further, that those will be some things that will remain the same.

I don't think they will do the exact opposite from, for exact opposite's sake. I think most of what they have done fits and adds something to story, for Jon to die like this, right here, I think doesn't do very much...

  13. Awesome idea for an article! I would so love to do this for a couple of shows!

Sansa and Theon and Brienne and Stannis is where I am most confused, because I think if Theon goes "home", he won't survive it, if he doesn't have anything meaningful to bring with him, so I think he may need Sansa to try and redeem himself, but things ensue, Balon dies, and Theon's brilliant plan turns to ash, as we may see his Uncles rise to power...

Stannis I think probably is not dead. As I have said else where, I think there might be a theme of 'looping' or wrap around by going back to earlier novel plots to mix in with new ones, and also characters would then be "course correcting" and being "rebirthed" back into the world in some way.

So Breinne, I think will fight with Stannis on the condition he helps her find protect Sansa, because she realizes she can't penetrate the castle without an army and maybe they will join forces with small hill tribes or The Brotherhood without Banners that launch an attack, kill Ramsey and Bolton, like you said, but only then to discover that Sansa is gone...Maybe this will first reley on saving Stannis by bringing him to Thoros of Myr and there will be some freaky thing where both Jon and Stannis get resurrected by The Lord of Light at nearly the same time LOL! (oh ya and maybe we will finally see The Golden Company???)

Jon will somehow be rebirthed, and this will kind of play into why Stannis gets to live. He will take Melisandre's visions a little more seriously, but maybe we will loop back and he will believe that Sansa is coming to him, or that he can intercept Sansa somewhere else?

As for what the Greyjoys could do with Sansa, I'm not sure. I was so certain they would of Lady-Stone-hearted her at the end of this season, that now I am lost about where she could go next. The only thing that crossed my mind, is if the Greyjoy's send her with either VG, Theon, and/or Yara to Mereene with the "DH", expecting her to be the one to use it (two 'birds' one stone?!) And there's a part of me that would love for her to reunite with Tyrion!

Bronn and Jaime are definitely hard to predict. I would of thought that Bronn would of been killed off by the seasons end and was surprised he wasn't. So part of me thinks King's Landing is a likely choice, because I do think there ought to be some reconciliation between Jaime and Cersei, especially in the sense that I think Jaime may be more apt to protect his last of kin, after maybe feeling things that he didn't expect to with his daughter--kind of like a last chance kind of thing--As for Cersie, besides her revenge story, I'm not sure how she will respond to Dorne and/or if they bring Tristyn back, but it would be easy to see her waging war and holding him prisoner--Jaime maybe has to come and go, maybe he goes and looks for Brienne to try and protect Trystyn???

Anyways, great work! Like you said, it's seems things are in the air since we only know so much now. Thanks for putting this together, Robert! :)

  14. Great article ;)

I've noticed only one small mistake - it's Daario not Daerio.

  15. Am I the only one wondering if the new "Lord of Noble Northern House" character they are casting could be the one providing shelter to Rikkon? There is also a "motherly nanny to a large household with a Northern English Accent", she could be assign to take care of the boy?

  16. Im sure they may bring it back likeable characters are starting to die off from the show , that realistically may affect ratings .
I cant imagine this show killing Dany at least not unless its the last episode.
She is virtually the shows most famous character , most people who dont watch this show have heard about her , that would be dooming the show to die ratings wise.
Arya and Sansa are probably safe but Sansa is more expendable , Jon may be brought back maybe not next season but season 7 when they think noones expecting it.
The majority of characters arent really your typical heroic protagonist , Jon fills this role,
Im sure like Kit said Jon is definitely dead but that does not mean hes not coming back.
    It could go either way.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Definitely better than having it as someone new and unheard of. And you checked out the pilot? Yay! Thanks so much, and I'm so glad you loved it! I am so relieved. Season one can be a little slow to start out with, but the moment Increase Mather (Stephen Lang) shows up, it gets wickedly good!

  18. Brienne is a such a bore to watch on screen that never gets anything right so the odds of Stannis being dead are not there for me, and they dont do character development for Sansa at all so anything with her will be terrible anyway I think. Im not overly fond of Jon, but it's not like the book is really final on him anyways. It just seems like too many loose ends, though I dont think the show has done enough hinting at any of it so they could go either way.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Nope, you are not alone!

Those theories have been given more attention since Art Parkinson has been very cryptic about if or when he will return to GOT. Personally, I do not think a non-answer to that particular question means the actor is being deceitful or misleading fans... He may not know.
    *Shrug*

  21. Thought I was the only one who wants to see Sansa reunited with Tyrion ! There had been an understanding growing between them. I have always thought it would be fitting if Sansa towards the end in some way stepped up to save Tyrion to return the favor for all the times he tried to protect her.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I think GRRM has backed himself into a corner with all the unwieldy side plot strings dangling - how on earth he would expect to resolve the entangled heap in just two books I know not. It is as if he just cannot stop himself from going off on wild goose chases when he structurally should be staying on point. Weiss and Benioff have brought some order into the brilliant chaos but I do not know how they can resolve it all in just two seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I agree - it is just nuts to take away Jon Snow's character permanently because that just chips away a huge part of the core of the story. B and W are surely too smart to self hurt.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Exactly!! I agree there have been hints about how they have come to feel about each other that has changed, especially for Sansa. :)

    ReplyDelete
  25. I do not see any of those scenarios either ( don't think Tyrion would like living in the North !) . I was not necessarily seeing them remarried so much as re-bonded with them aiding each other as friends and I do not know that either of them will survive the coming Winter of the White Walkers. But if we are playing what if here- how about Tyrion as the Hand of Westeros again to Queen Dany , with Sansa as his wife - but I am not expecting that as she is so tied to the North. I fear that their deaths in the coming War , fighting together to save each other perhaps, might be the final grand dramatic moment of the war before the defeat of the White Walkers. His death would certainly be a climatic moment for the series.

I meant to add that scenario to the list.. I thought I did, but alas... XD

Yeah that would be the most likely I think, but still not something I see transpiring. Although honestly, unlike many, I do not rule much out as implausible with so many pieces still in play on the chessboard!

  30. Funny. Maybe he has opened a blacksmith's shop in Braavos by now. There is shortly to be a dire need for Varlyrian steel swords to be shipped to Westeros.

  31. What is your feeling about whether LittleFinger knew he was handing Sansa over to a monster or not - he claimed to not know much about Ramsey but Baelish heretofore has known when a pebble was turned over in Westeros. If I were Sansa I would wish I had kept that corkscrew with me when she meets him again to use on his black heart.

    ReplyDelete
  32. This is one of those where I go with the showrunners even if every fiber of my being says otherwise.... D&D have stated that Littlefinger did not know exactly how bad Ramsay Bolton was. He may have known he will flay people, but had no idea he was the sadistic monster he is.

To me the idea of Sansa marrying into House Bolton makes little or no sense in books, but this is the TV series soo.. I guess if I accept them at their view of what Littlefinger knew, then I can accept that he could, at least in theory, have set up the marriage thinking Sansa could handle whatever came her way for the short term..... I still have issues thinking he could see it as acceptable for the long term though.

I wonder if Sansa's endgame is killing Littlefinger?
On the show at least his arc really has come to center on the Vale and marrying a facsimile of Catelyn. Having Catelyn's daughter kill him would be symmetry of a sort I guess.
    *Shrug*

  33. "how about Tyrion as the Hand of Westeros again to Queen Dany , with Sansa as his wife - but I am not expecting that as she is so tied to the North."

Oh yes, I quite like that scenario! I kind of think that, if "they" (whoever's left) defeat the white walkers, that the North could get "warmer" after and/or that perhaps much of mid to north Westoros will be wiped out and maybe everything will have to be rebuilt and new law and order will prevail and King and Queens might become obsolete or done differently...(wishful thinking)

    ReplyDelete
  34. "I wonder if Sansa's endgame is killing Littlefinger?"

Is it wrong that I so want this! ^^

    ReplyDelete
  35. Good thinking - remember that vision Dany had of the throne room at King's landing in ruins? Of course, those visions were being manipulated by that wizardly fellow that the dragons crisped in the tower scene - but it still could have been a foretelling as she has said she wants to change the world order.

  36. Kit will be back next season. He is the hero of the whole saga

    ReplyDelete
  37. Ha! XD
    No, not at all....

I'm actually beginning to wonder if more characters will have endgames that do not relate to the larger narratives of the Iron Throne or White Walkers. I think a number could have more individual lines despite everyone enjoying combining them in various ways...

Instead of one huge battle to end the series I wonder if there will be a number of smaller battles or two large battles and some smaller scale battles? Each arc could have a "savior" of its own, each their own warrior for "good" and their own source of impending doom.

The White Walkers need to be held in check somehow, but perhaps it's not by dragon fire. If it was only that, why introduce dragonsteele and dragonglass weapons? Jon, Sam, Bran, Davos or even Jaime could play a key role in their demise.

Dany's focus would be on invading Westeros and claiming the Iron Thorne. I personally have always looked at the dragons as destruction and chaos - not a weapon of good for a leader to bring peace. I think that the dragons need to be killed at some point. Dorne, The Citadel or Bran could play a part in that maybe.

Having separate arc conclusions would alienate some people I know, but it would possibly provide a faster conclusion to the series. IT may explain how GRRM would wrap everything up in only 2 more books or D&D could wrap it up in only 2 more seasons... I'm not sold, but it's a thought....

An interesting analysis on the whole.

"Also, Ramsey, I think will kill his father and his stepmother, Walder."

Ha, ha. You mean Walda, of course. Now I'm picturing Walder Frey in a dress.

"Also, they might be creating a sister for Sam just for the purpose of the show."

Sam actually has three sisters in the books. If he only has one on the show, they're simplifying it again.

"High Garden", "Mireen", "faceless men", "Bravos", "Jamie", "Marcella", "Tristain", "Kings Landing"

Some minor spelling corrections: Highgarden, Mereen, Faceless Men, Braavos, Jaime, Myrcella, Trystane, King's Landing. And I noticed a tendency to use a comma in plurals like "the Bolton's" and "the Tully's". I'm a professional editor/proofreader.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ugh, I'm always so bad with names. I should really look them up before putting them in but I'm always so confident before hand. Thanks all them :)

I hope Walder Frey dies at one point as well. I can't stand him especially after what he did to the Starks.

    ReplyDelete
  41. That would be truly awful and something that would be beyond cruel for the character. I could actually imagine the writers going there for some reason but I really hope they don't.

    ReplyDelete
  42. When do you think he'll be back? Early or late in the season? I think if they bring him back at all it won't be until much later in the season.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I just don't see who else it could be apart from him. Some have mentioned that Varys could be behind the whole thing which would be equally shocking I think.

The pilot was strange but in a good way. There was enough in it to hook me. I really liked the John Alden character.

    ReplyDelete
  44. That's a very good point you made. It would be stupid to take away the pov at the wall as Melisandre and Davos aren't that interesting or have anything to explore with them that would capture our attention.

At lot have been saying this but what do you think the chances are of having a Tower of Joy flashback at the start of the season?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Knowing our luck B & W will do something stupid with Jon.

    ReplyDelete
  46. "At lot have been saying this but what do you think the chances are of having a Tower of Joy flashback at the start of the season?"

I think since we will have Bran back, the chances are much better, but it only seems like it will be an important event to experience/know, if in fact L + R = J is true, which would only really benefit if Jon is meant to live again. It would be one thing to let viewers know that, and then kill Jon, but it seems a waste of time to tell us only after he is dead and buried without being able to come back again...(It also might be good timing because of word play if we learn more about greyJOYs and then also the tower of JOY - let alone the Sansa Tower/flame situation we just had could be seen as an allusion to it: Stark woman + Tower + Fire and then more irony if she would be sent to Mereene...)

In ADWD I don't remember where Melisandre is, but Davos learns about Rickon and so in the books I don't know how they would do it without Jon at the Wall, except if Thorne would come back (which he is there in the TV series)....

  47. Brienne and Stannis

Brienne is one of them characters for me that I'm waiting for something big to happen with her. She hasn't done much over the seasons and I'm wondering if we're going to be heading anywhere with her.

Stannis is dead. I could see her keeping him alive possibly but I doubt the writers would bother. If she were to spare him many would question it but I think when he said "Do your duty" it could have reminded her of her duty to Catelyn therefore realizing she can use Stannis to trade for Sansa or something like that.

We definitely know there's probably at least one battle this upcoming season. Well, I assume. The director who did "Hardhome" is coming back so he must be doing something big.

This is my problem I have with Stannis dying. What's going to happen with Davos and to an extent Melisandre. Their main part in the show was the storyline with Stannis. Now he's dead (possibly) I wonder what they'll do now. If Melisandre is the one to bring Jon back then she'll be doing something but Davos... I have no clue. Would following him be that interesting to watch?

    Sansa:

I would love Sansa to gain some form of power or to have some forces behind her. The writers have mentioned that there going to be bringing the Tullys back soon so now would be a good time I think. Who do you think will be the two castings for the northern lords? I think one could be an Umber, Smalljon?. I'd like to think Greatjon would return at some point seeing as on the show he wasn't at the Red Wedding therefore making him one of the few bannermen to escape it.

    Cersei and King's Landing

I think The Mountain will be behind both Pycelle and Kevan's deaths. It would make sense seeing as Cersei doesn't like either of them and that they died in the books.

Bronn I don't think will die but instead he'll just part ways with Jaime instead. I can't see them keeping together beyond a few episodes (maybe) in season 6.

    The Vale and Littlefinger

I do think The Vale will stand with him. He can manipulate them by saying something such as The Boltons are keeping her hostage or something like that. He has a way with words and I would be very surprised if by the end of the season The Boltons are still alive and Littlefinger hasn't obtained Winterfell or something else.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I have always hoped that the one vision of King's Landing's Throne Room was a vision of the future. I know in the books The House of the Undying comes off way less trustworthy in terms of the visions and magic, but here it seems like one was a kind of foreshadowing/mythological building/wish fulfillment to keep her there, but the throne room one just seemed special and I doubt it was of the past, because there was nothing really important gained from seeing it, if it was, only that it would be exciting if it was something yet to come -letting us know Dany will be in Kings Landing with either fires/ash or in Snow...

    ReplyDelete
  49. I think we all want that to happen!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Not at all. I was thinking about that as well. Sansa would want to look for her brothers now she knows they're alive. She might go to some of the northern houses who she knows might have him.

    ReplyDelete
  51. It's funny because I have a friend who's favorite character is Petyr Baelish. He identifies with him in being "a self made man" (and he has a thing for red heads)...sometimes I wonder about his sanity and then I have to question mine for even conversing with him :P

    ReplyDelete
  52. Right - there was nothing to be gained from tricking her with that vision, whereas the other visions were aimed at keeping her there.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Although, because they are privy to GRRM's whole vision, they might follow whatever lead he has given them in the matter.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Ya. I m sure there will be loose strings too, even in the books I think. Martin seemed keen on writing a bunch of novellas, which I presume may take place at a lot of different times, maybe even after...

I agree, it doesn't seem plausible to wrap everything up and/or that not all of the characters may be caught up in the big fight...

    ReplyDelete
  55. I still mess up all the time too! I'm better than when I started, but like Trystane is def one that doesn't stick!!! a=

    ReplyDelete
  56. I would guess the "bear-like" Northern Lord is most likely someone from House Umber, yes. Maybe recasting the Greatjon, casting the Smalljon or Mors Umber like many have suggested. I think most people still can remember the Greatjon, so casting his son the Smalljon may be a nice connection to past seasons.....

I have less of an idea about the "Lord of a Northern Strong Hold" though... A lot of people want to see Deepwood Motte and it could make some sense to introduce House Glover. Well, re-introduce House Glover since Galbert Glover was cast already. He appeared a couple times briefly in Season 1. Not sure people would recall him though....

Not a lot of "holds" mentioned in ASOIAF that fit this new character..
Maybe Karhold, home of House Karstark? We already saw Rob execute Lord Rickard Karstark in Season 3, but maybe his heir? I forget which son that is on the series honestly, Harry in the books. Also in the books, Karhold Castellan Arnolf Karstark has decent role in Stannis's arc, but with Stannis dead I'm not sure why they would need Arnolf...

These Northern Lords could be entirely new roles introduced in the last two books... Maybe even from Skagos where Rickon went in the books?

  57. mid into the season

  58. These Game of Thrones names! There's so many people/places that it's quite hard to remember everything!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I think Balon dying is a guarantee especially if the casting for Euron is true - which it probably is. I can't wait to dive into that after the absence of the Greyjoys in season 5.

I'm not so sure about Stannis. The death was left ambiguous but I don't see the point in keeping him alive. I want him to live as I quite like the character even after what he did to his daughter. (I know, shocking) The question is though why Brienne would let him live? The only reason I see her not killing him is because she's thinking of the bigger picture. When he said "Go on do your duty" it could have reminded her of duty to Catelyn therefore by letting him live she could use him to trade for Sansa or something like that?

I do like your theory though about them joining forces. It would be kind of similar to Brienne and Jaime when he was her prisoner. I enjoyed that. I always pictured Sansa or Littlefinger rallying the northern forces or the hill tribes but it could be Stannis and Brienne. They could inform them that the Boltons have Sansa Stark hostage and they might help them as the northern are loyal to the Starks which we have seen.

She could still kill Stannis though and then like you said he could be brought back by Thoros. Beric giving his life for Stannis's? I'd like to think the brotherhood will be revisited at some point. The show really could still get a lot of the stuff they scrapped from the book into the show just by using different characters.

"Our word is good as gold" I love them words.

I think Bronn will part ways if he heads back to King's Landing with Jaime. Unless Jaime heads out again, I can't see why Bronn would stick around. I hope he does though..

    ReplyDelete
  60. Wait, Ripper Street got a two season renewal ??? Seriously ? I thought it ended !! I hope that's true because I loved it !!!

Anyway, some people are saying that Myrcella is alive, but I personally think that she died. Which is very upsetting, because she was very sweet.

I'm looking forward to Bran's storyline, even though it was my least faverite part as well. I think that because he wasn't around during season 5, the writers might skip some of the training he got developing his abilities and when he comes back in season 6, we might get to see some pretty awesome flashbacks and maybe even predictions to the future. He might be a badass by then!

    ReplyDelete
  61. " The only reason I see her not killing him is because she's thinking of the bigger picture. When he said "Go on do your duty" it could have reminded her of duty to Catelyn therefore by letting him live she could use him to trade for Sansa or something like that?"

Well I find that Breinne more often than not is too honorable to kick someone when they are down. I don't think she was expecting his honesty either. If he would of been liar, or fowl mouthed, or even presumptuous when she came across him, then I think she wouldn't give it a second thought...but really, killing him now, although I think could still be just, isn't really the fair fight that I think Brienne prides...

But ya, I also think that the bigger picture could come back into mind too--like you said, that phrase might have reminded her of her promise and it could of trump her need for revenge!

    ReplyDelete
  62. "Well I find that Breinne more often than not is too honorable to kick someone when they are down."

A lot of people have been saying that and it's true, she is honorable but honorable enough to spare the man she has wanted to kill for seasons now. I'm just not sure. Brienne does like a fair fight but she's said it for seasons that she's wanted to kill him and he was right there.

Then again, you're right about her shock at his honesty. On the finale poll here I mentioned that when she drew her sword she had a little doubt in her look. She was expecting a monster of sorts but instead saw a broken man who had given up. If she did spare him it would have to make sense as there would be a lot of questions about it.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I see reason's why Brienne would let Stannis live, but I wonder what would come of it. Does Stannis have a role to play in the future story? He has no army, has lost face with his bannermen after killing his daughter and they may blame him for Sylese's death as well. So now he has no family, no army, and no muse since Melisandre hs ridden to The Wall. Would D&D/ GRRM bring him so far down only to rebuild him for the endgame? Could his redemption arc be that important? I'm not so sure...

If I had to guess, Stannis dying either at Brienne's hand or the Bolton army will be his fate in the book's as well, but it will happen at a later time in the story. I suspect D&D moved his death forward so that they would have more time to concentrate on the new material in the two upcoming books.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Your friend is the first person I have heard say that Petyr Baelish enough to be their favorite character.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Well I obviously can't say Jon anymore, but I guess it's something like this:

Arya,, Tyrion, Brienne, Jaime, Jorah, Varys, Messandi, Cerscie, Meera, Leaf, Sam, and Dany....

    ReplyDelete
  66. Then why leave us to ponder it? I agree outside of another confrontation with Bolton, I don't know what purpose he would serve, except if for like some weird reason the writers don't want o give melisandre too much power letting us think she can just always do this and that's why I was thinking the only reason she might resurrect Jon snow would be because Stannis happens to be getting resurrected at the same time and the power of Thoros transfers to both, just to add something fresh to the mythos, but also it could be used simply to launch Briennes next story, whatever that will be...

    ReplyDelete
  67. "I guess if I just based my feelings on what I saw I would have stronger feelings that Stannis could be alive, but I just cannot see a purpose in saving him at this point. Maybe the next books will provide a reason..."

That's actually what I forgot about when I responded to you earlier. I kept thinking that the ambiguity around his death was the same as in ADWD and totally forgot that the Shireen scene was said to be in the next novel, which then might suggest that Stannis lived! Obviously we don't know if it's the same difference in that Stannis may sacrifice Shireen to try and regain power only to die shortly there after anyways, but it could also be that the Shireen scene in the book will be in a rather different context and could rekindle a new future plot for him!

"and toss in Victarion Greyjoy as well unless he turns up next season. They all have a part to play in the books, but do we need to see them (or see more of him in Stannis's case) on the TV series?"

I totally agree, but at the same time, if we would be right about Greyjoy casting, then book readers are treading backwards a bit and that might not be necessary either, as they could just give Theon and Yara the "Dragonbinder" plot. I just keep thinking they're trying to find ways to stall/slow down plot a bit too, but also maybe use it for themes. I still think they are going to have to add at least a season onto their seven-season plan, especially if they are going to loop around with some characters and plots....

    ReplyDelete
  68. I think because of L+R=J and the ongoing theories people have about it Jon will live. It's something fans have wanted to find out for sure for years now and it wouldn't be right for it to be left unresolved. He's also a main Pov and the only one we could really follow at the wall.

I would love a Tower of Joy flashback but I agree with you, there wouldn't be much point if Jon were to remain dead and for us not to know about L+R=J. So I'm hoping he's coming back, which I'm sure he is.

A lot say Bran will find out about Jon's parents which I suppose isn't entirely out of the question because he'll be learning more about Greensight I imagine and how to properly use it.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I hope they will. Surely GRRM's has given them an outline of what he plans to do. Whilst they'll probably have to cut things out as not everything will be able to fit I hope all the main things are included.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I hope they don't recast Greatjon as I like the current actor but I could see why if they did as it's been a few years. I would equally be excited to see Smalljon or Mors Umber but I'd prefer to see Greatjon either way.

I have no idea for the second Lord. Most people are saying we'll see Deepwood Motte in the new season which I suppose would be nice to see.

Another possibility is House Manderly, I could definitely see Sansa going there as they are loyal to the Starks and are pretty powerful.

I could easily see Karhold being introduced as well. I'm not sure what he'd be doing but is they brought in Karhold he could be tied into Sansa's arc or a different character. Maybe Brienne's?

So many possibilities that makes the casting video at comic con harder to wait for.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I keep thinking D&D will use a Vale army behind Littlefinger or Sansa in place of any events that happened to Stannis's army. Maybe they could use a Northern/ Moutain clan army led by Davos,Rickon, Sansa or Jon if he returns.

That way they could still use the Arnolf Karstark plot and just substitute the new army and leader....

With regards to Theon's Greyjoy uncles, I don't see it as backtracking as much as delaying the arc. D&D like to only introduce characters and regions slightly before they come into play. If the pay off only happens in Winds of Winter or later introducing the Greyjoys at some point in Season 6 makes a lot of sense to me. By holding the Greyjoys back for a couple seasons D&D can load all the scattered scenes into a single season to make a better seasonal arc.

I'm still not sold on getting more than one Greyjoy Uncle, Euron. If they do use th eKingsmoot maybe we will get Damphair as well, but I think a featured extra would suit the job just as well, maybe better! So much of Damphair's book part is internal dialog... Not sure how it would transfer to TV. I do not think we will get Victarion at all.He is uneeded for the most part seeing as Daario has a fleet Dany can use. Hell the fleet is even the same number of ships Victarion had! XD

That said, who knows what D&D will do!
They could introduce all three Greyjoy brothers, but only give Euron a decent sized role.

Assuming the show keeps Arianne, The Griffs, Stoneheart and the Riverlands, of the show I think they could complete the saga in just two more seasons. It would take a lot of tweaking and trimming of course, but I think it is setting up nicely for a quicker conclusion.

So hard to theorize or even guess on how much material is left in the saga without having the last two (or more) books!

    ReplyDelete
  72. A lot of great characters, I'm quite surprised to see Osha on the list as well as not many people care enough about her to like. I did like the character though when she was around.

My most hated are exactly the same with one tiny addition: Ramsey Bolton, Walder Frey, Balon Greyjoy, The Mountian and Roose Bolton.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Oh, yes, Roose too! LOL!

Ya, Osha just made an impression on me when she was on screen. We don't really get to know too many Wildings on the show and liked that she was willing to protect Bran and Rickon--showed a motherly/big sister side, but I also think Natalia Tena is just a good actress. I do hope we catch up with them next season.

    ReplyDelete
  74. what you are thinking, is logical, but it's wrong nonetheless. Jon is nothing like any of the characters that have died previously. He is among the 3 main characters (coming second after Tyrion in chapters) with so much going for him. It's not just the mystery of his origins which is among the the biggest mysteries, but also the fact that just before Robb died, legitimized and name him as his successor. Other stuff as well that I will not even attempt to write down. Jon is far more important than people realize. Anyone who's read the books know what I am talking about. Him not coming back (assuming he is truly dead and not just injured, also he warged into ghost before his apparent death), it's not gonna happen. He wouldn't even be the first to come back.

Beric was resurrected 7 times before he dinally died. Cat came back a week after she died (though almost nothing like she was before). And I repeat, Jon is nothing like them and it's not even certain that he is dead. A typical kind of resurrection isn't even necessary. It's very unlikely him not coming back, even in a different form and changed for the worse.

Speaking for the show, solely. Well, many people are gonna be disappointed if what you are saying is true. Girls/females mostly xD and you know better than me that it doesn't work like that.

    My predictions on HBOs writers:

Northern lords: some random lords, most of them without any personality or character traits (and recasted) just to piss of the Boltons a bit. The Boltons seems to be worried, but don't give a fuck. Somehow, the Boltons win.

Brienne: she killed Stannis. Doing nothing, just moping around waiting for... anything. Maybe some random bandits want to kill or rape her because she was there.

Cersei and Robert Strong: some epic battle with the Mountain and X. Catfights between Cersei the tiger mom and the Tyrell bitches. Valonqar? Crazy Cersei? That's not our Cersei! And the sparrows are bitches to Cersei, too. Poor Cersei.

Daenerys: more badass dictator speeches. Drogon the flaming dragon killing dothrakis. Daario giving Jorah some oneliners.

Jon Snow: being resurrected by Melisandre. Meli shows boobs or have sex with dead Jon to resurrect him. Ghost? Warg? Azor Ahai? Profecies? What?

Littlefinger: jetpacking to the Vale to rescue Sansa with the Royces.

Sansa: nothing. First being the damisel in distress to Theon, so they bond together because Theon is the Nice Guy and all Nice Guys deserve a hot girlfriend. Sansa is left in the pervy hands of Littlefinger again, so he can touch her and do more masturbatory dialogues about how smart he is and how he loves her. Later, Tyrion appears riding a dragon and save Sansa, because its the ultimate Nice Guy Hero, and all Nice Guys deserve a hot girlfriend. Sansa just smile and thanks Tyrion for saving her and promise to love him forever. No Vale plot, no North remembers plot. And maybe Sansa is threatened with rape sometimes and she use her vagina sometimes to seduce Littlefinger like all Strong Women do.

Theon go to Pike just because. Yara isn't there to be Queen and defend her rights, but a very bad and cool pirate win.

Sam and Gilly. Meet Dad Tarly, the macho of Westeros. Gilly is the damisel in distress. Sam goes to become a maester. Dragon horn? What is that? And the pirates attack Horn Hill and kill or rape Gilly and maybe the baby for Sam's agnst.

Tyrion and Varys. Varys sucks Tyrion and Daenerys ass. Some hot witch priestess is there, maybe try to seduce Tyrion using her boobs but since Tyrion is so smart and nice, he destroy her. Varys sucks Tyrion and Daenerys ass again. A random son of the arpy set free the dragons. Tyrion demostrates he's the Chosen One riding a dragon and going to Westeros.

Arya is still training. She kills a really bad bad bad guy in a really fancy and bloody manner and Jaqen gives her sight again because she's SO AWESOME and OMG SO BADASS and SO GOOOOOD and NOT LIKE THE OTHER GIRLS. What the fuck is a Nymeria?

Bran has Internet access and shows us some flashbacks, so calm down the readers. They're be explained step by step by Littlefinger in some previous episode and reminded in the "previous episode" section.

Jaime and Bronn. Jaime is sad. Jaime has puppy eyes and a lobotomy. He kill Trystane and run away to the Riverlands, where he mets Brienne. Bronn return to Dorne for more bad pussy.

Add dragons, cool FX, awesome battles, less awesome battles because they needed the money for the dragons, Tyrion and Dany long speeches, Tyrion making sexual comments or driking, boobs, rape, non consensual sex, erase all female characters with birthrights and agendas, turn female characters into male characters (unless they're moms or they need more rape), erase magical aspects or internal logic, add spoilers of Winds of Winters AND WE HAVE SEASON 6!
