  1. VEEP: Love Wendy! Poor Mike... and he doesn't have Amy and Dan to help him anymore and poor thing he's trying. Selina is getting worse by the second... She's awesome in that "love to hate her" kind of a way! And Tom James? Such a political player. And Kent, Ben, Bill and Mike saw it... he is so much better than this administration. This is gonna be so interesting... I hope my theory about him pans out, that Selina is going to win the election, and he'll be her VEEP but he'll be the kind of VEEP she wanted to be and basically do all governing and do it well. And I hope he hires Dan and Amy acknowledging how good at their jobs they really are and utilizing them properly... Speaking of: I really thought this was going to be the Amy and Dan episode. And as fun as their scenes were (because when are they not awesome?) their whole storyline was a bit too far removed from everything else, and a bit underwhelming as a whole. Fingers crossed for more on their front next week... they're in the promo a lot so that gives me hope!

Battle Creek: Great episode to end the series on. I'm glad we found out more about Milt, and that Russ and Milt got to be a bit more open with each other and admit that they are partners and kinda friends. I'll miss this show. And we got follow up on the Russ/Holly thing too so we know that's resolved at least in the context of the show... I would have loved the show to continue, but it works like a nice little contained & complete 13 episode series, and I can live with that.

American Odyssey: So sad about Khan... He was one of the more interesting characters. I don't buy that Ruby cares about Harrison, so that bit of the story is kinda "meh". Overall I think I'd call it one of the better episodes. it felt like things were moving at a better pace than usual.

  2. I hope we get more of Tom James next season, Hugh Laurie has been so great in the role.

  3. Well... when is he ever not great? ;P

Seeing as I see no way that Selina would end up back in the VEEP position, my thought is that he'll be the titural character next season and the conflict will be a flip on the first & second season themes where Selina feels sidelined from the spotlight because of her position as the VEEP from the POTUS, to feeling overshadowed from her own VEEP while she's the POTUS.
It would be a very interesting twist I think...

So my actual hope is that he'll be on full time next season!
Also what the hell is up with Tom James?
I mean he seems to know the game... he seems to be very good at it... but what does he really want? There are times where I think he genuinely doesn't care to advance his career any more, even though he'd be great at it, and there there are moments where I'm thinking his whole "Eh, it's not big deal" attitude might be a ruse...

Also: He NEEDS to hire Dan and Amy so they can be back into the main fold!

  4. I love that entire idea especially hiring Dan and Amy, imagine them back in the White House but still up against Selina!

  5. IMO it would just be a great way to bring them back into the main story and not have them give up the animosity and bitterness they have towards to current administration.
