  1. Chris Woof Aka Kai you will be missed..such an amazing actor deserve some oscars!

  2. So when will Elena wake up? I saw a spoiler and i didn't understand it. THanks

    ReplyDelete
  3. When Bonnie dies of old age in 60 /70 years.

    ReplyDelete
  4. the ending confused me!!!

    ReplyDelete
  5. So most LIkey Damon is gonna just wait the 70 years for Elena? Ya think?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Here is hoping his head regenerates since he is part vampire as well as a Heretic, if his new show fails.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I couldn't watch the entire episode, but is it true the sleepy beauty rumor ??? If it is, it's stupid....

    ReplyDelete
  8. That was bad...lol Anyways, maybe the season 7 will finally do a fresh start that this show desperately needs..who knows, but im for sure coming back!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Why not ? He pined for Katherine for a long long time.

    ReplyDelete
  10. someone said they got married is that true? Damon and Elena i mean

    ReplyDelete
  11. Cop out! They should have killed her off. Plus, there was NO mention on if she will age while asleep. What if she wakes up in sixty years as a very old woman? How happy will Damon be then?

I was glad Tyler is a werewolf again.

It's kind of a shame Kai is dead because he was becoming a really interesting character. And it sux they killed off Jo. I wasn't crazy about her, but that sucked to kill off a pregnant woman.

The one thing I wanted to know more about was Lily's family. That might be interesting for the new season.

But I still can't picture Damon alone, and I don't want to see him with someone new.

What was the end? The time jump? Mystic falls a ghost town? How much time had passed?

    ReplyDelete
  13. The ending was a scene from somewhere in the future. Damon still didn't have Elena back, and Matt really became a cop.

    ReplyDelete
  14. SO when Bonnie dies, and can you imagine how anxious Damon will be for that day in the future as Bonnie lays on her death bed and Damon is like secretly thinking to himself , "HURRY UP AND DIE." I am just kidding. But I imagine the plan would be for Damon to drink a little bit of Elena's blood to be human and die an old age with Elena?

    ReplyDelete
  15. PerryGoGrrr 💛15 May 2015 at 02:19

Kai said at the hospital she won't age...

    ReplyDelete
  16. I will miss Kai :( but it was time for him to go. Tyler didnt really say he was leaving mystic falls so he just will be gone with no explanation? As for Elena I don't like her as much as i did in the beginning of the series but I will miss her. I think her ending was sad but i hope we see her for the series finale! AND what was Damon doing at the end? WHAT IS HAPPENING!?? Cant wait for season 7!!!!!!1

  17. Kaalyn Johnson15 May 2015 at 02:19

So basically, Bonnie dies in the series finale for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I must have missed that. Still a cop out, though.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I think they are showing the a few months down the road. When Damon gets Elena back it will be after Bonnie dies which will be close to 80s or 90s depending how healthy she stays.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The ending was a future flash. Matt did become a cop, and Damon still didn't have Elena. If Matt wasn't too old in the cop car, it's probably not that many years into the future.

    ReplyDelete
  21. yea it couldnt be 60 years unless matt was a vampire.

    ReplyDelete
  22. You are right.

    ReplyDelete
  23. He didn't look that old to me there, but who knows. I'm pretty sure they will keep Matt human forever.

    ReplyDelete
  24. As a fan since day one, I was legitimately disappointed tonight. That has to be a SERIES finale for me sadly ):

    ReplyDelete
  25. is it cause of elena?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Just the quality of the series in general in my opinion, but Nina leaving didn't help either.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Pretty much. She's in a magick coma till Bonnie dies of old age.

    ReplyDelete
  28. No. They walked down the aisle at the wedding as pRt of the bridal party but that is it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Kaalyn Johnson15 May 2015 at 02:27

Well, I guess there are two options here:

    A) Kill her in the finale
    B) Flash forward many decades to her natural death

Knowing Plec, I'm gonna go with A.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Kaalyn Johnson15 May 2015 at 02:27

Eh... I wasn't a huge fan of the second half of this season, but I gotta say: Seasons 5 and 6 > Season 4.

Altering the shows focus is a good way to refresh things, too.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think this is good for Damon as he will learn to not be selfish. He is essentially going to spend the next 50 years waiting for Bonnie to die. LOL. Really, he is gonna spend the remaining years as a vampire being a good boy and doing good deeds and preparing himself that when Elena awakes, he will spend the end the end of his life as human next to Elena. He will be more mentally prepared for it. It will give Stephan closure as well as he knows he only has about 120 years left to spend with Damon, 50 or so as a vampire and 70 maybe more watching him grow old as a human. It will be kind of cool as Caroline and Stephan become the guardians of Elena/Damon future generation of kids.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I definitely wont be watching next season. RIP TVD

    ReplyDelete
  33. TVD turned into sleeping beauty lol I can't

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm thinking they will do a flashforward for the series finale and maybe show Bonnie's coffin or funeral and then it will show Elena waking up.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I think so too.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Thank you for the answer ;) Damn this is so lame. I"am so upset that Bonnie had to be link to Elena.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I thought, for what TVD had to accomplish with Dobrev deciding to leave, that it was a relatively solid finale. I laughed at the end though. The first thought that popped into my head was "Wait? So Matt Donovan is Commissioner Gordon and Damon is Batman?"

    ReplyDelete
  38. I mean couldn't they ask Rebekah for a page from the playbook? SHe is pretty savy at that unlinking. And she could take a drink from Elena and have children from her own original body. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  39. It showed Elena in her final resting place and days, months, possible more passing and sometime in the future Matt is a cop and he's patrolling the streets of Mystic Falls in ruins well Dark Damon ( with out his humanity if 170 year old Vampires can switch it off still ) is staring down over his town from the clock tower.

If by chance Damon hasn't gone DARK then he's watching over his home town and protecting it from the Heretics who have destroyed it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Wow!! I'm not even sure what to say right now. Damn. What the hell do I say? I'll my Delena, I will. I will miss my OTP. And I loveee other ship, Steroline. My god, their relationship is so mature. Stefan's so upfront with her I love it. GAH! He loves her. Caroline had that, "My god I'm an idiot." Look on her face. I can't wait for them in season 7. Its gonna be so freaking beautiful! Steroline is life!!

Ohhhh Kai! Your last episode you sure killed it! (Pun intended). He went out with a bang. The church, the video, the werewolf bite healing...SERIOUSLY???? I couldn't believe that. (W/e I'll continue) The laughing when Bonnie was trying to hurt him. LOL Hell I laughed along with him. And then there was my baby Damon. If anyone was going to kill Kai it was gonna be Damon. And I am ALL for it!! Yes! And I love the way he did it. (Sorry, Kai, but as much as I love you, Damon will always be ahead of you.) THAT we haven't seen since season 2...C'mon I couldn't have been the only one who thought about Elijah?? Anyone else think about Elijah??? No? Just me? Alrighty then. Let's move on.

Poor Alaric!! I totally cried for him!! Even his suicide attempt failed. Damn! Poor guy just can't catch a break! He's Sooo broken. The look on his face when Kai was being a major league DICK! Alaric just had nothing left. I'm actually glad Tyler came and bit him....wow, I'm actually glad Tyler did something? On his last episode no less. Ironic. It'll be really hard to watch Alaric next season. R.I.P Jo and fetus 1 and 2.

I loved all the scenes with everyone individually. They were all nice. But I swear I could hear the fandom divided. Some being happy, some being pissed. And I'm not just talking about The Salvatores, (well actually the Delena shippers should be pretty damn happy b/c I know I am) I mean with everyone. But I honestly don't have any complaints with any of the goodbyes. Each place that was chosen had a HUGE CHUNK of sentiment. Out of all of them, my favorite definitely was Elena, Caroline, and Bonnie, and the feathers. Very touching flashback of season 1. I cried during that scene.

So Tyler killed Liv. That actually really sucks. I hate Tyler with a passion, and I hate Liv too, but in that moment, I felt bad for Tyler. A little...just a little. Lol

Matt looks good in that uniform. Cried when him and Elena were on the bridge too. I'm glad he threw the flower petals.

    Lily and her zombies ugh!

Is Enzo still around I wasn't paying attention to him.

I got some good Bonkai scenes and I loved it! I love how she knows him. Well, how she knew him. = /

Damon on the clock tower. Sigh..that means everyone is out of time. Lol. See what I did there? = p (Ok yeah bad joke)

It's weird, Idt I hated this finale. It was just kinda sad. I do know one thing....Delena was endgame. (Duh) And Stefan loves Caroline. (Double duh) Well shit. I'm happy!! <3 <3 <3

Huh...look at that. I guess I figured out something to say. Haha.

    ReplyDelete
  41. It was a short flash forward ( I 'd say 3 months ) to Matt being a cop and trying to keep ruined Mystic Falls from either a) Dark Damon or b) the Heretics who have destroyed it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yes in a flash forward 60 years in the future or she dies in battle or in the end they break the spell and all of them can live together once more.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Still watching but I had to comment: KAI !! KAI!! KAI!!! - what an amazing villain. It was great to have Chris Wood on TVD.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Season 7 Tease http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dWNg9axwBk

    ReplyDelete
  45. In this episode i found Kaï really different than usual . Usually he's a funny sarcastic sociopath but in this episode he was extremely dark & twisted like someone who had nothing to loose & who is totally empty inside, he was really creepy but I LOOOOOOOOOVED IT !!! All the scenes were the best and i'm soooooo sad that he died !
He was the best vilain of TVD since Klaus. He has a extreme charisma , a creepy look , a hot creepy smile , i'm so mad that i'm never get to see him again. I would have prefer if he would have leave town just after attacking Bon-Bon like that we would have had a chance to maybe see him again in S7 but now there's no hope !!! I'm think that i'm gonna cry for a month !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Julie suck !!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Damon won't be with anyone new. I wouldn't worry about that.

    ReplyDelete
  47. THats not how the cure works. You need to take it from the vial thing.

Lets be honest here. Out of all the character on the show, who do you honestly think will get into a situation where they are near death due to bodily harm? Let me give you a clue . Starts with B, has a Vampire for a mum.

I do kinda think the still didnt have enough time to resolve the Elena arc to be honest and Im honestly not sure WHAT they are going to do with Damon next season. Assuming its the last season of the show (as both Stefan and Damons actors are aging out of their do not age roles), Its going to be interesting to say the least the show not at least attempt to give Damon a new love interest. I dont know if the show is going to beable to stop itself trying.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm sorry to say that he's going to The Originals so he will be brought back somehow.

    ReplyDelete
  49. One last thing : Huge Congratulation for Chris Wood for his performance as Kaï. He was one of the good thing of this season. His character won't be forgotten easily...... Love him so much !!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. okay, wait. if she is just "sleeping" then why put her in a coffin how can she breath if sealed in one?

    ReplyDelete
  51. To be honest, this all sounds too much like a loop hole situation for me.. It seems like JP and the writers just want to keep their options open in case Nina decides to come back. Considering how many times Bonnie has overcome death she could sacrifice herself (maybe become a vampire in the process like the Elena/Ric link) and then Elena would be back..

and if Nina doesn't decide to come back they can always do the finale thing with either killing Bonnie in the finally where in her last moments she will be with Damon and saying something like "At least you will get her back now". Or they will flash forward into the future when she dies a natural death and Elena comes back..

The sleeping beauty thing is just not the right ending..

    ReplyDelete
  52. Kai wa ss an excellent villain. I hated him. I was incredibly happy when Damon cut his head off. How cool is that he can him himself froma werewolf bite?.
Okay now to Elena: Everything has a loophole, so Why dont give Bonnie vampire's blood, killed her and puff. Elena lives again. It's not liek she is gonna fall abck to sleep when Bonnie returns as a vampire, right?. But then, who si gonna be the witch that everyone is gonna use later?.
It was an excellent goodbye, they didnt killed her but it might as well they did, at least they are gonna use her in the final episodes of the series and she will get her happy ending.
That final seconds were great, we see a Mystic Falls devastated for whatever tehre was (im guessing Lily and his "family) and Matt and Damon standing guard.
S7 looks likes is gonna have a good way.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I think this season has been pretty solid. Not the mess that was S5. Im hapopy how this season turned out.

    ReplyDelete
  54. That'd be so cute LOL

    ReplyDelete
  55. "SWEAR TO ME!" LOL

    ReplyDelete
  56. My first question would be, why wouldn't the spell be broken by Kai's death?

    ReplyDelete
  57. So it seems there will be a 2 year time jump and they will likely follow in the footsteps of Lost with flashbacks to what lead up to the flash-forward we saw in he finale.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Once magic is cast it can't be broken, only by the person who cast it. Like on The Originals when Josephine put a no-magic barrier in the Jazz Club, the spell wasn't broken by her death.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I had that one as well and since they are big on cockups and retcons I didn't even bother. He even said, "my death made it permanent" when every other time in the show when a witch dies so does any curse/spell they cast. so much bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Like when? because on The Originals a spell was cat by wasn't broken by her death. It's not a retcon, it's been established, it's not like in Charmed.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Bonnie turned Silas to stone and when Bonnie died the spell was broken and Silas escaped.

    ReplyDelete
  62. OH then crap, it IS new, thanks

    ReplyDelete
  63. I think with the "my death made it permanent" thing, they're trying to pass off a loophole by inferring that he built-in that specific contingency into his spell. I still think it's a load of crap though.

  64. Vampires Forever15 May 2015 at 04:42

Chris Wood is not going to The Originals. He's been cast in a new CW show titled "Containment" (formerly titled "Cordon"). It will not premiere in early Fall but in mid-season, if current plans stay in place. Sadly our wonderfully villainous Kai is really gone but I have to say he got what he deserved tonight, thanks to Damon tearing (pun intended) a page from Stefan's Ripper Handbook. Kai crossed not just one but way too many lines in the last two episodes. But Chris was great as always.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Did you guys notice that the scene with Caroline and Stefan felt awfully familiar!! Remember season 4 final episode where klaus told Caroline he intends to be her last however long it takes then he kissed her cheek... I feel TVD did better job with Steroline! Had more depth and a deeper connection it surpasses lust and infatuation! Better than true Love!!!!! I soooo caaant wait for season 7777😭😂😍😘😉😩

    ReplyDelete
  66. Vampires Forever15 May 2015 at 04:54

Agree with almost everything you said, especially that Kai was the best villain since Klaus. That's a really huge compliment and very much deserved. Kai gave TVD a big shot in the arm, IMO. But after what he did in the last two episodes he really had to die. But don't cry. Julie has cast Chris in a new CW show "Containment" which will have a mid-season premiere. And from the promotional photos, he looks even handsomer and hotter than he did as Kai.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I especially liked Caroline's "holy shit, did he just say that" face.

    ReplyDelete
  68. The ending scene looked like a war zone and abandoned mystic falls. And Julie plec said that We will find out how Damon is surviving in season 7 and it won't be pretty!!! Do I sense Damon from season 1 coming back😉

    ReplyDelete
  69. Oh yea ! Stefan always the romantic!! Caroline can't believe she is the object of his affections!!! She wasn't ready for it in season 1 but now it's time! Oh how times have changed!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Vampires Forever15 May 2015 at 05:14

Actually, the Cure can work that way. There were no other vials to drink from. The plan was for Damon to drink some of Elena's blood to get the cure and become human himself. And if you recall, Stefan said they needed to keep Elena's body safe because every vampire would come after her to suck the cure out of her.
I wouldn't worry about what they'll do with Damon in Season 7. I'm sure that Julie Plec will find plenty for Ian to do! I just don't think a new love interest will happen. It wouldn't make much sense in light of what happened in tonight's episode which, annoyingly, was just a way to keep Elena alive in case Nina agrees to come back, maybe for the series finale.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Vampires Forever15 May 2015 at 05:20

LOL is right! You've made it very plain why this "Sleeping Beauty" curse is so forced and manipulative. I think we had enough of that in the episodes leading up to the finale.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Vampires Forever15 May 2015 at 05:31

He certainly looks like Season 1 Damon in the new promotional photo. Will he go back to his old ways without Elena to ground him? Or, will he become the Guardian of Mystic Falls standing watch over his apparently ravaged beloved town to protecting it - and Matt - from evildoers? Geez, that sounds like a comic book hero, doesn't it. BTW, love your smirk face. In honor of Damon, right?

    ReplyDelete
  73. I didn't realize it until you told me he actually does look like the super hero!! Minus the hero hair though!!!! Stefan has got that covered!!! Also hopefully he will direct episodes again!!!

    ReplyDelete
  74. I liked him even though he was a villian

    ReplyDelete
  75. Could bonnie become a vampire

    ReplyDelete
  76. I'm actually really ok about the finale. Quite surprised by that actually. I liked Elena's departure. Which is the biggest thing abut this finale that I was MOST worried about. I would've been pissed if they killed her off, and I would've been really annoyed/confused if she left town. I was coming up with so many theories. It wasn't til the promo last week that I thought, "hmm is she in some type of coma?" Of course it was the one thing I didn't think about with all my theory build up. lol

I really do feel like I gained closure with this finale. Elena lives through Bonnie, Kai was amazing til the end, Liv is dead, Tyler's gone, no one I cared for died, I got my last Elena/Jeremy Gilbert scene, Delena had their finale dance that i I enjoyed so much, Steroline's in love, and the goodbyes were bittersweet. So yeah, i'm good. I've got closure. = )

    ReplyDelete
  77. This is great with no Elena by all means I'm sorry. No Delana would be the alltimate rebound for TVD. I see a Klaus, Rebekah, Freya Elijah with Damon, Stephan, Caroline and Bonnie next season. lol

    ReplyDelete
  78. Really enjoyable episode, I loved that cliffhanger at the end. It felt like I was watching Containment lol.

Few things I didn't get though:
    - Turning Bonnie seems like a pretty easy way to wake up Elena
    - Why are they all acting like Elena isn't going to age?
    - Can't they put Elena in a different body?

Tyler's goodbye was terrible too, kind of brought down that entire goodbye part of the episode.

    ReplyDelete
  79. WOW what an episode! I was in a puddle of tears, especially during that feather scene, just seeing Nina/Kat/Candice crying real tears was unbelievable. And that last dance omg! I will miss Nina/Elena so much.

It's the end of an era. Not sure if I'll watch s7, I think it has to be entirely Defan focused for me to return.

    ReplyDelete
  80. They explained it all in the episode :)

Kai said no loopholes or they'll both die. He also said something like "Elena will continue to be healthy until she wakes," so she won't age or require nutrients.

    ReplyDelete
  81. No loopholes just makes it cheap and a huge plothole though, so not really an explanation. And staying healthy and not aging are two very very different things.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Well maybe it was an asspull but that was their attempt at explaining it lol. So take it as you will.

    ReplyDelete
  83. And at the season finale they can flash forward to Damon leaving Bonnie's bedside as she says good-bye to her grandkids as she dies of old age and Then DAMON will be waiting for Elena to wake up? He will have had 50 years or so to make peace with his vampire lifestyle. Bonus-Elena will hear about all the good deeds he did while waiting patiently for her to wake up. Thoughts?

    ReplyDelete
  84. I wonder if the 'trick' to the flashforward{s} that Julie mentioned in a interview after the final is straight out of the "Lost" writing hand book.

Might the flashfoward{s} be like the Sideways world on "Lost" where in the end they were all together after their deaths ?

Could they all / most of them possibly have died at Alaric and Jo's wedding ?

Any thoughts as to what this 'trick' might be that Julie mentioned ?

    http://www.buzzfeed.com/jarettwieselman/julie-plec-talks-nina-dobrev-exit-tvd-season-7-spoilers#.jq3o4nqwd

    ReplyDelete
  85. Wow. That did live up to my expectations...
    1. God, Alaric broke my heart. He lost everything in a blink of an eye. And I know it's kinda cruel, but can we take a moment to think about 6x10, where Damon begged him to "Kill Kai" and he didn't...You reap what you sow buddy. Damn, Matt Davis was brilliant portraying Ric.
    2. I knew Damon would save Bonnie ...up until he walked away and my jaw dropped. In that moment I genuinely believed he's gonna really walk away. Nice job on that part writers, you got me there! How glorious was it that Damon, in his most selfless moments, resorts to ripping heads off? I love Bamon's friendship. Very much.
    3. I love Lily as a character but could he get any more pathetic as a mother? Her scenes with poor Stefan was a new low.
    4. Not a fan of Steroline, but I did like it when Stefan said he would wait for her. They didn't pull a season 4 Delena with them.
    5. Speaking of Delena, I suddenly realized I'm gonna miss them. And that dance in the end seemed really hard! But I liked it. Nice job Nina and Ian. Practice does make perfect.
    6. I love Kai. He was literally The Joker in this episode - a less epic version of course, but anyway. love him and I'll miss him but he did deserve what he got. And Damon actually earned the right to kill him. I wasn't even angry at him. It was well-deserved. but I already miss Kai.-_-
    7. Stefan's speech about his brother was EVERYTHING! God, I adore their brotherly bond.
    8. Liv and Tyler are kinda...natural. It's easy to like them and feeling bad for them is inevitable.
    I'll give it a 8.5/10.
Goodbye Aurora...I meant Elena.-_- Never really liked you, but i will miss you. Seriously Elena is important to TVD.
    I'll miss Dobrev and Trevino.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Did, did you just partially blame Alaric for his family's death, using a humanity less Stefan quote? The f*ck. He really wasn't the Joker, nothing like the guy.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Since Damon, a vampire, killed him, and vampires are made out of magic, so sure Kai can rise again. Why not? This is the BS logic.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Veizinger Tamás15 May 2015 at 09:27

Remember that I tell the whole story of the finale WEEKS AGO? :D and you said, it is bullshit, not happening... I told that Kai will link Elena to Bonnie.. so if Bonnie dies, Elena will wake up.. etc. :) just sayin'

    ReplyDelete
  89. Veizinger Tamás15 May 2015 at 09:29

It must be a few months after Elena's "funeral".. because Matt does not look like older.. much older, like 20-30 years older :D Damon destroying the city, maybe with the Heretics :D

    ReplyDelete
  90. Marlene Rådman15 May 2015 at 09:53

Uhm... Okay, so can somone explane this episode to me? The part when Elena was talking to Alaric, and her dance with Damon and all that stuff... What was that? Dreams? Fantasies? I did not get it.

    ReplyDelete
  91. I don't care about the finale i don't care about the series. I watched the show for Nina Dobrev, now that she is gone the series is no longer interesting to me.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Ohhh GOD! Nina delivered one more extraordinary episode. The episode wasn't perfect but I'm more than satisfied, everything fall into place perfectly.

How freaking brutal! Tyler killing Liv! And I thought they would ride into the sunset together!
Stefan and Caroline shared this amazing scene. I love how convinced their are while saying all those words
Kai was diabolical, just perfect. I don't know if CW will ever find such a brilliant role for himself again, but he delivered the performance of a lifetime. I hope he'll get some recognition for this, someone has to give him kudos for this.
Damon choosing Bonnie was sooooooooo amazing! I don't ship them as a couple, even though they would need the hook up (especially her), but they are so amazing together.
The goodbyes were so beautiful, heartbreaking, powerful. Every goodbye had it's amazing moments and was unique and perfect in every single way. The one with Stefan, Bonnie and Damon really made me tear UP!

The set up for S07 seems quite intriguing and I can't wait to see how they are going to handle it. Would be interesting if we get a couple of flash-forwards and travel back in the premier. Now we have to wait 5 freaking months. SIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Yeah i remember but I thought it could happen so I didn't say anything

  94. You know I was thinking the same thing. If Bonnie became a vampire Elena will be wake up because Bonnie has to die first to become a vampire.

When Damon gave Bonnie his blood I thought that he was going yo do that.

    ReplyDelete
  95. that was total BS
they should have just killed her off... the woman writing that show needs to get a clue and why are they always giving the Bonnie girl the short end of the stick.. making it hard as hell for people to keep tuning in every week when the writing is down right awful

Heaven forbid Damon should ever have hero hair! And oh yes, I too hope so much that Ian will direct more than one episode next season. 6-16 was fabulous, wasn't it?

I am so glad Elena isn't actually dead. That would have been a smack in the face to everyone who has been watching since the pilot, and to the character/Nina Dobrev. It still leaves a way for her to eventually come back (series finale?!)

    ReplyDelete
  98. Nina will be missed. If I had to award the best actress in TVD, I'd give it to her. Elena, Katherine, Amara, Tatia...Only she could play those roles and she gave it her all.

  99. I am sorry to say that without Elena, I think this series has reached it's shelf life. At this point I think just kill,Bonnie and be doe with it- though I like her character. I didn't feel like season 6 was the best and this just confirms my thinking, as far as the way Elena left, that was a good a way as any. It really must have been a hard decision as no matter what it was going to upset fans. At least there is hope for the series finale being Daomn and Elena being reunited. In the last year three show have had main character die or go and it hasn't been the same and won't ever be.

  100. Bonnie bound that spell to herself, Qetsiyah bound the Other Side spell to the Anchor, some witches bound spells to the full moons and celestial events......so the cloaking spell was boun by Kai, and when he dies, it broke, and linking/sleeping spell was bound by Bonnie, so when she dies, it will break)

    ReplyDelete
  101. Turn Bonnie into a vampire, Elena will wake up, Bonnie will feed on Elena\The Cure, and become witch again....TADA!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Can you clear some confusion related to TVD finale-
1.How on earth Matt and Jeremy got into Elena's head. They are not vampires or witches.
    2.If
Kai's cloaking spell was lifted after he died, why didn't it happen with
Elena? He cast both of them before dying so the same rule should apply
    to them,right?
3.If Bonnie dies now with say Damon's blood and then
completes the transition as a vampire and then sucks the cure out of
elena, elena wakes up 3 years older and Bonnie lives. They couldn't figure
    out this simple solution?!?

  103. They probably touched Caroline or Stefan or piggybacked so to speak on their dream abilities. Depends on the spell, daylight rings stay, same with vampirism and most kinds of magic. He said no loopholes that's a loophole.

  104. It was one of my favorite ones!!! I need for him to direct many episodes! It definitely be darker! Can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Loved the finale! Best possible ending for Elena, leaving open the possibility of her return for the Series finale. Kai was awesome and the episode left me on the edge of my seat. Well done!

    ReplyDelete
  106. I suppose I'm willing to accept this explanation simply because TVD has bent, broke, and ignored so many of their own rules that this is probably the closest anyone will come to making any sense of this without resorting to the introduction other loopholes as justification.

  108. 2.Technically Kai's death before his transition into a vampire must've lifted it, but he said, "My death made it permanent." Perhaps a different kind of spell. Like daylight rings?
    3. The only not-so-logical solution would be...Elena wants it for Damon so that he could become human? Not a fan of that idea, but the dude did lose his mind and went through the humanity fantasy phase...

  109. I like it Nin's Goodbye episode. Damon Smacking off Kia's head was awesome. At the end Matt driving around as a cop how much time has past. O and what would happen i know Nina's gone but what if Bonnie was turned into a vampire like she chose it could that break the spell and release Elena since Bonnie did die but would come back as a vamp would that work.. Not sure if it would but i am guessing the series finale will have Bonnie die Elena wake up and then Damon takes the cure thru Elena and they live to a rip old age and die.

  110. I liked the episode a lot. It was a moving end for Nina Dobrev. I guess I hadn't believed that Jo died yet, but finding out she did and seeing Alaric's grief was just heartbreaking. Another scene that was hard to watch: The parallel between how Liv died (at the hands of Ty) and how she did the same thing to Tyler's accident victim. Liv really cared for Tyler, and it's sad how now I realized how much I liked them together. Damon and Elena's dance scene was really poignant, and brought me back to season one's Miss Mystic pageant. The low points for me were Stefan and Caroline's scenes. I don't know if it's because so much was going on, but I'm not feeling them as a couple although I liked the idea of them together. Kai was awesome. I'm really going to miss Chris Wood, as he was a fantastic villain. It'll be interesting to see how the show will continue. The Enzo/Lilly story is not pulling me to watch it; however, I'm more curious to see how Matt/Bonnie/Caroline/Damon will fare next season.

  111. I understand why some people hated Elena but I liked her, she was a big part of the show, everything kind of started because of her, imo. I love Nina Dobrev and I hope we'll see her soon in a movie or another TV series where she would be able to show the world once again her incredible acting skills.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I assume Kai thought of that, that's why he said if Bonnie tries to outsmart it, both die. Or maybe it's just plotholes, who knows.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Eh, it was okay. Served only to remind me of all the reasons why I stopped watching the show. The writers took the cop-out route rather than kill Elena, which was disappointing. There are quite a few holes in the whole 'sleeping curse' plot, but that's sticking to TVD style so they are, at the very least, consistent.

The only positive was the homages to the first two seasons (feather flying with Bonnie, that Miss Mystic Falls dance, etc.) when I actually enjoyed the show. This was a one-time deal, but who knows, with Elena gone I may try out S7. Time will tell.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Great finale though kinda stale ending...But JP told Mystic Falls was abandoned in that flash-forward due to Heretics which seems interesting

    ReplyDelete
  115. Disappointed in the sleeping curse. As for 60yrs? It better be spent in unheardof luxury, success, passionate encounters with fun, joy and a life long love who will put her first. Because she has more than earned every bit of it.
Kai, you sexy evil. Didnt know Damon was the original Karate Kid.
Damon chose Bonnie!! He did it for himself, without hesitation and that just made him better for it.
Bonnie was awesomeness facing down Kai, all on her own, given just how much power he can regenerate. Her scenes with the girls saying goodbye killed me. Especially when Elena basically handed the diary writing over to Bonnie. The new voice of The Vampire Diaries.
Batman end scene was twd crazy good. Can just imagine Bonnie as his SelinaKyle.. rawr! Bring on the leather and the whip honey!
Poor Ric. Jeremys cameo. Tyler. MommaCray and her munsters.
Cannot wait for S7.. so much potential, stories to tell. Only gets better.

  116. I'm hoping Bonnie outlives Moses tbh, as Queen Regent of her own powerful coven. Stefan and Care will have practice babysitting her children first.

  117. Or there's a chance she becomes a witchpire after a extraordinary long happy life with family of her own.

  124. How about Robert Knepper, Juliet Landau, Danny Huston, Clare Kramer, James Marsters, and Amy Acker as the Heretic on TVD in season seven ?

    ( Samuel Sullivan - "Heroes" / Drusilla - "Buffy" / The Axe Man - "AHS: Coven" / Glorificus/Glory - "Buffy" / Spike - "Buffy"/"Angel" / Winifred/Illyria - "Angel" )
