ReplyDeleteI'm not sure it's supposed to be a complete opposite thing. Maybe she'll stay good just simply because Rumple wants her to stay that way. Or maybe she does have a dark side to her in this 'verse and we just don't see it in the promo.

So the first episode will probably be the fiction world while the 2nd will conclude the season. Where is Regina in all this mess? Will she be the hero and save the day after Henry informs her about everything.

ReplyDelete- How does the writer transfer all the characters from one book to another
and how does Henry get in there?
- When does “Heroes and Villains” start – timeline-wise? Has Regina ever
become queen or is Daniel still alive?
- Is the effect of the ”no-baby”-potion permanent for Regina or can it be
broken/reversed by true love or some other magic?
- Does the author end up changing conditions that have a lasting effect
for someone in Storybrooke? Are parts of the past undone so to speak?
- What drives Isaac? What is his motivation? Pure excitement? Just because
he can? Or does he have another agenda?
- Thinking that Henry will be the hero that brings everyone back to
Storybrooke, will they all remember the other story, “Heroes and Villains”?
This is so messed up, who the hell is the good guy here and what the hell is Henry doing in the enchanted forest?
ReplyDeleteIt is very confusing. I asked myself similar questions. But the author cannot just write all villains happy and heroes to became villains. This rule would be a vicious circle...
ReplyDeleteI wondered about Isaac too. He seemed very excited to help Regina until she did not want him to write anything. I think he is just slightly addicted to this power and writing. If things could become undone maybe recent troubles like Zelena's pregnancy could be deleted. Everything could be possible... Hmmm... But I don't think the producers will go as deep into this complex in this episode. They did not go as deep with time travel either, although Emma and Hook must have screwed up with many timelines.
I think you're right. I just hate introducing something this complex and then only scratching the surface ... But I guess we'll see ...

ReplyDeleteAbout Henry! There is a pic on TvLine with him in a cave with the "Heroes & Villains" book. Remember Rumple said in this episode there is always a loop hole.
ReplyDeleteI assume Henry can't be erased by the Author so some version of him has to be in either universe. So this is either a loop hole Henry or the AU Henry that is just as curious and big believer as "our" Henry is.
I think The Author can't revive characters just write a story for the alive characters, that is probably why Daniel, Neal or Cora will be alive.

The Author really did it, he changed the ENTIRE history of this show, even in the real world, i mean the Book's published, but is Henry a paradox? how can he even be born, Emma looks like she's in the Enchanted Forest so how can she even give birth to Henry if she's grown up in the Enchanted Forest? can he remember the REAL history? Doubtful as he is a servant to fate and the Sorcerer
Currently a deal with Rumple but ultimately, he needs to write in order to be an author
Everyone has hopes they hold on to.
As far as it goes I think The Author can't kill or revive people, that is why we won't see Neal, Daniel or Cora and that is why Henry is there.
ReplyDeleteSo there are multiple options, either a crazy Emma gave birth and Henry somehow landed in real world and with his natural curiosity and truest believer heart he could've somehow ended up in the EF, most likely trough Isaac.
The other option is that Henry is the Loophole and somehow wasn't affected by the new writings as he wasn't born within the EF and wasn't part of the first book.
I think they will twist things and Rumple will become the Author. Henry is still to young for that.

So in that perspective, I see a bit of Hook fighting with Charming in black and I'm wondering about it. As Rumple hates him and he has been with the good guys, will he "stay dark" or maybe he will be in the "middle", I don't really know.

ReplyDeleteI'm going with loophole, and I like the theory that the Author can't kill or revive people. That explains why Henry doesn't disappear, and it also explains why all the dead people aren't brought back to life (Marian, Neal, Graham, Cora, etc.)

ReplyDeleteIt surely would be, but I don't know if the writers would commit to a whole AU story for a season long arc. Those things are usually reserved for a couple of episodes at most, because after everything is fixed the development on the AU are essentially non existant. That's why last's year time travelling finale only lasted 2 episodes, because further changes would then render everything that has been worked so far useless

Water from lake Nostos! When given a cup of water, Snow White drinks it, and only after this, King George smugly explains that the water has cursed her to be barren. Later, Snow White figure out that Ruth had Lancelot switch the lake water into the cup for the marriage ceremony.- s02e03 "Lady of the Lake"

This season when i first heard Frozen was going to be incorporated into the mix i was like really because i don't like frozen however this season has been really good just like previous seasons. This show still is good not like other shows which lose their spark after a few seasons in my opinion ... well for me anyway :D

ReplyDeleteNote: Lancelot mentioned the Holy Grail in that scene so it is implied that it could have been the chalice and not the water that healed Emma as that whole section of the show messes something fierce with Arthurian legends which have the Lady of the Lake being Lancelot's mother and sending Lancelot to find Arthur. Lancelot wanted to be the knight to look for the grail which it was thought was in the items Rumple pillaged from Camelot but what if it were not and Lancelot had the cup, not Percival or Galahad. Snow drinks from the Holy Grail and all is cured.

ReplyDeleteThe wishing well is the water of lake Nostros which was why August wanted Emma to drink it season one and why he used it to make the new pages magic. The well helps return what is lost including the love magic to the people of Storybrooke.
ReplyDeleteThey never confirmed the water was from Lake Nostos either; Snow merely assumed it out loud to Lancelot because Ruth died. The idea is that the drop of water from the lake is in Lancelot's flask and that Ruth does not drink it so when they fill the chalice for the wedding the drop is in the chalice now. It could be either the cup or the contents.

ReplyDeleteThey showed a sip of water go in a flask that Ruth is presented. The wedding vows follow out of luck. Lancelot fills the cup and mentions the grail and later you hear Snow theorize that Ruth never drank the water. Lancelot wants to know if it is a boy or a girl. Snow says girl. Interesting when you remember Rumple knew in prison Snow's baby was a girl and only wanted to know her name. "Tell me her name" hmmm. Funny how we miss the things we should be paying attention to most , for example the fact that there is no reason to think this is even Lancelot at all. Glamor can make fools of us all

ReplyDeletePerhaps .But nothing is ever as simple as one thinks. Mighty convenient the way the water helps Snow but does nothing to Charming,... Same cup, Same drink. Also convenient that Ruth dies as a sacrifice to the Lady of the Lake for this magic as required. You keep accepting things as you do and surprises will abound. Bust ask yourself why bring up the Grail at all an mix the stories?
