ReplyDeleteI'm so glad the show has decided that it isn't anti-flashback! This episode should be SO good! I glad to see the they kept a scene with one of the sides I read for this episode featuring Dr. Gideon and I hope they sprinkle Quinto's character through out the season and he's not going to be limited to this one episode!
Starting my Hannibal Rewatch + films tonight! It will be June sooner rather than later! XD

ReplyDeleteThree more weeks guys! Yay more flashbacks into the Bedelia/Hannibal relationship is always a plus. And the flawless Gillian Anderson continues to be flawless. Zachary Quinto should be a nice addition to the show.

ReplyDeleteGillian Anderson was so destined to become part of the Hannibal universe - she is perfect in tone and look for this show. And with Florence as a backdrop ( remembering A. Hopkins' coat swirling as he walked through the pathways of Florence in the film) I can barely wait . Also looking forward to the second episode with more Will G.

ReplyDeleteSo far it's only been stated he's a guest star for this episode, but I would think they wouldn't wrap up all of Bedelia's past in one episode considering she, at the very least, has a 7 episode arc, so I would hope he will get strung along and that we will see him one more time, if not more, after this episode!

ReplyDeleteHowever i don't think it's from Antipasto because Bryan Fuller and Hugh Dancy have confirmed that Will and the rest of the characters don't appear in 3x01. The 1st episode is all about Hannibal and Bedelia.
