Disney is getting ready to premiere the film later this month and in a list of cast members attending the red carpet premiere, two names jumped out: Julie Delpy and Linda Cardellini. Neither actress has been in a Marvel movie before but both are well-known, which suggests more than just a fleeting cameo. So what does this mean? Read more below.

Disney confirmed that having Delpy and Cardellini on the Avengers Age of Ultron cast list for the premiere was not a misprint. Beyond that, there was no comment.

Mustafa Shakir (The Grounds) has been cast as a regular in the upcoming Cinemax series Quarry. It tells the story of Mac Conway (Logan Marshall-Green), a Marine who returns home to Memphis from Vietnam in 1972 and finds himself shunned by those he loves and demonized by the public. As he struggles to cope with his experiences at war, Conway is drawn into a network of killing and corruption that spans the length of the Mississippi River.

Shakir will play Moses — intellectual, masculine and mysterious, he shifts from friend to foe at the flip of a coin. His only true loyalties are to himself, which makes him dangerous.

  • 22:42 - Grumpy Cat To Get A Comic Book
Bleeding Cool understands that the latest in Dynamite’s line of licensed comic books will be one based on internet meme and very real feline, Grumpy Cat.

Dynamite have a history of signing up all manner of interesting licenses from James Bond, to today’s Looking For Group to Battlestar Galactica to Army Of Darkness to The Phantom to Doodle Jump.

How the famously mardy moggy will feature in a Dynamite book is anyone’s guess, however. Would it be a Garth Ennis title? Something for the hard boiled crime line? Or maybe taken by Gail Simone and used for her sword and sorcery line.

About The SpoilerTV Daily Newsreel

Every day 100's of items are submitted to us and we don't always have the time to make separate posts for the news and/or there is so much that it would quickly push all other items off the homepage.

So a result we've come up with the idea of the Newsreel, which will feature smaller shows and news items as they happen.

There will be a new Newsreel each day, and as news is added we will update the post and and push it back to the top of the site so that you can see that new items have been added. A tweet of the item will also be sent to our @SpoilerTV account.

New Items will be listed at the top of the article.

This will allow us to provide more news on more shows in a much more timely fashion

  1. I swear to God I'm gonna choke on Noah. He has had more screentime than the entire Stabler clan had for 12 seasons. He's more a regular these days than Fin/Nick/Carisi & that's just not right. If he's in the opening credits next season I'm done.

  2. Oh, a new Reign scene. Rooting for Catherine.

  3. Re AoU: I think I also read a tweet that Linda is connected to Clint. Maybe she's part of his hallucination, as his mother?
Julie I'm thinking she's either Wanda and Pietro's mum in a flashback OR a Red Room operative and Part of Natasha's backstory/hallucination etc. (wouldn't it be cool if she were a grown up Dottie though? I doubt it, but a girl can dream...)

I feel Quarry has been in development forever...

    Lovin' that funky Aquarious poster!

Okay, I know I've been bitching about this for the last two months (at least) and I apologise for bringing it up again, but the ABC family promos SUCK this year! Having said that: Young & Hungry looks fun. Also YAY! Ashley! I kinda like her... she's more charming and charismatic than she lets on. Especially in a venue like a cutesy traditional sitcom.

YAY for the R-rating on Deadpool! The only way that movie has a shot to being done any justice is with allowing Wade to be Wade!

It'll be a outing with my girl crew to go watch SPY. It's right up our alley...

Re The Messengers: Well that was an interesting cut of that scene...
