  1. The feels I felt for Ritchie cannot sum up enough how I much enjoyed the American version of The Slap over the course of eight episodes. It's not conventional as one would have liked but it is nevertheless intriguing and definitely got people talking, good or bad.

Having watched the Australian version first, I'm pretty impressed how NBC's version manage to really stand on its own ground but was able to keep the essence of the Aussie miniseries and the novel.

We got our happy endings with Connie, Ritchie, Hector and Aisha, and especially Anouk.

That last scene with Anouk showing Hugo her newborn baby seem be to indicative of how the brat who started everything could somehow straightened himself out growing up despite how his parents raised him in his short years of life.

Over-all, a really good miniseries on my book.

  2. made the season seem pointless in how it solved nothing and yet labled the man a criminal such that he should not be allowed in the same room with children. The conviction has greater consequence than time served reflects

  3. I liked it, but the parents of Hugo need parenting classes especially the mom. Hugo is a brat! He has issues and I would have slapped him too!

  4. Great performances by all the actors, which are among the best ones of course. And an unconventional story. I must say I'm not surprised it didn't get renewed.

  5. It was always meant to end after the first season. Even with great ratings, it still wouldn't have been renewed.
