  3. I LITERALLY YELLED NO!!!! OMG FIX IT! FIX IT NOW!! PROMO BE REAL BE REAL!!!

I'll be back need to collect my thoughts. Omg.

  4. Wow that was shocking I officially hate Lance now I really want Laurel to unleash her anger on Lance and disown him in my opinion he seems to love and idolizes Sara more then her I really want her to call him on that

    ReplyDelete
  5. pretty good. Felicity was great, not a lot Laurel, Roy's departure. and of course the end shocker. but I've got to say to show a promo for next week right after the episode giving so much away is just stupid, takes all the impact out of it. Okay, I expected a ressurection right away, but still.
also a pretty big revelation for Flash, not all meta-humans are a result of the particle accelarator explosion.

    ReplyDelete
  6. So Oliver agrees to become head of the LOA in order to let Thea be restored via the pool . Wonder how she will be changed.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Mac it's one person. We knew this from the trailer for the back half, and the bts speedy mask mold. I think you're going a little overboard.

    ReplyDelete
  8. This was seriously Colton Hayne's best acting on the show. He legit made me cry multiple times throughout the hour which is something he has never made me done before. His goodbye to Team Arrow just wrecked me and I hope Roy finds peace somewhere in the world. But for now, goodbye Roy/Arsenal. http://www.buzzfeed.com/jarettwieselman/colton-haynes-leaves-arrow#.gcxr6Dl7

  9. can't blame him for that. Laurel has no high ground on Quentin at all. First she lies to him about Sara and the way she talkt to him at the beginning of the episode ... - no go.

    ReplyDelete
  10. THIS made up for last nights trainwreck from The Flash.
I KNEW Roy gets killed.... did not know he didn't REALLY get killed though.
Arrow can still surprise me once in awhile at least.

    ReplyDelete
  11. i think it's 50/50. She should have told him from the begining and Quentin is being an giante a**hole right now.

    ReplyDelete
  12. you know how this cheapens the shows meaning of death? I'm sorry but this is one of the things I DON'T want to see!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Well done Felicity and John. I'm so glad they found a way to save Roy in prison, but I HATE that now we will lose him as a member of Team Arrow. I guess this will leave the vacancy for Thea to fill as a masked avenger on the team. Speaking of Thea, Ra's has made a fatal error in attacking her because after Oliver saves her life in the pit, he will come after Ra's with a vengeance.

While were are talking about vegeance, Quentin's quest to bring down Oliver will destroy him and/or his careeer if he doesn't stop. Funny how Quentin will stop at nothing to go after Oliver while turning a blind eye to his daughter who stands beside Oliver with or without a mask. If Roy had died, it would be on Quentin and not Oliver. Roy should've never been placed in the general prison population. However, it was a means to an end that Quentin used to try and get Oliver to officially confess to being the Arrow. Quentin used Roy as a bargaining chip and that's unforgiveable.

Ray got an inside look for the first time at what it means to be a hero and to have a team that stands beside you. Unfortunately, he also saw the closeness between Oliver and Felicity. You could see by his body language how that realization hit him all at once while watching John, Oliver, and Felicity saying goodbye to Roy. Please, please don't let this be a final goodbye because I'm really going to miss Roy Harper.

  14. I get why they did it this way, but I'm disappointed that the writers waited so long to team Oliver and Ray together.

Loved what they did with Roy - CH was really good tonight.

I also love that they somehow managed to wipe EVERY. PRINT. BUT. ROY'S. Oh, show.

    ReplyDelete
  15. The question here is: will Roy join The Titans now?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Not a huge fan of this episode, but at least it was better than this week's episode of The Flash!

I guess the writers are still on Spring Break... So much to dislike.
    - Still not a fan of Ray's jokes...
    - Ray having a chain around his neck and thinking flying off at high speed is a good idea?
He is just as likely to break his neck as break free.
    - Lance's people follow Ollie everywhere, but don't care if he's chilling at Palmer's?
    - Felicity being in romance mode while a mission is going on.
    - Felicity wanting to stay to help Ray even more.... Hugging after even more.
    - Quentin gloating that Roy's death is Oliver's fault when it is equally if not more Quentin's fault for pursuing Arrow against all logic.

I did like a few things....
    - I did like Roy's fight scene a lot!
    - Oliver playing Rock'em Sock'Em Robots with ATOM was Ray's best scene ever.
    - I'm glad Roy is alive, but the plan was forced at best. And why keep Oliver in the dark? He could know and the plan would still work.
    - Interesting to note that STAR Labs is not responsible for Simmons being a meta.
    - I "liked" Ra's stabbing Thea since it brings the Lazarus Pits into play finally.

Overall this was just a "Good" episode to me.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Dude still you're going way too far. And how? Tommy and Moira are still dead. Thea's death and resurrection will drive the plot to Al-Sahim and her character. And people will still stay dead.

    ReplyDelete
  18. http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/04/arrow-colton-haynes-exits-as-series.html?m=1

    ReplyDelete
  19. He'll probably be that character who crosses over on all three shows.

    ReplyDelete
  20. if we start making exceptions the expectation for future deaths will be lower and thus turn traumatic events less traumatic for the viewer due to "a way out".

Agree to disagree dude, it's going to be terribly wrong (my prediction, especially since I saw Sara in this promo as well)

    ReplyDelete
  21. So is Colton going to be the one whose always crossing over on all three?

    ReplyDelete
  22. really, Thea, really?! here is hoping she comes out crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  23. No. He wanted to be free to do OTHER jobs... doesn't like being tied down to one role.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Everything about this episode was just perfect!!!

I'm crying and laughing. God I'm a mess!
    - I knew it was a trick to save Roy but I didn't know it was that elaborate. I'm gonna miss you so much Roy. I'm so proud of you. He's grown a lot and the boy had some moves without the arrows. That goodbye scene made me cry like a baby. Plz come back Roy.
    - THEA! I knew it would be her. But man she held her own against Ra's.
    - QUENTIN I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!
    - Loved the team up. I didn't hate Ray even though they were pushing the hero part a little too hard but it was fun and that scene with Cisco is clearly for the spin off. so long Ray.
The actions scenes were great and Oliver killed me with his oneliners. He said it! I knew it was Oliver lol all Oliver's lines when he was in PT were great.
    - Loved my team Arrow moments but my heart broke when Oliver shoved Dig.
    - OLICITY!!!! OH MY GOD she was going to say it!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T WITH THOSE TWO! Ray clearly sees how close they are and I love that Felicity doesn't get so clingy with Ray in front of Oliver. I feel a little bad for Ray (emphasize in a little). Oliver and Felicity's talks were great and he's finally letting people help him. The Fern though :'( RIP
    - Does that mean no more Emerald Archer? :(
    - Ra's! What a jerk!
    - Laurel was not bad. Whenever she uses her law degree to help I'm cool.

Quick question: What's the point of the flashbacks besides repeating the same dialogue?

I LOVED THE EPISODE! That's the Arrow I know and love.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Maybe. But this isn't TVD the characters don't have magic or easy revival. I doubt it. Strongly.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Okay then. Well that's not surprising.

    ReplyDelete
  27. that's not a surprise after this episode. I think it's a good thing, maybe he can return occasionally, I'm glad Team Arrow is down one member. Now Laurel please.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Rock'em Sock'em Robots. Love it! I agree, it was definitely a highlight of this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I feel like Felicity will wind up the one who floats around. Unless for some reason the writers decide to keep Ray around Arrow once he and Felicity inevitable part ways.

    ReplyDelete
  30. No it's not and this is exactly why the pits are a dangerous plot threat.

We will never be sure who really dies and who won't, thus our reactions will be cheaper, less involved. I can already tell you what I'm going to say when they kill Slade, Merlyn, Oliver, Diggle or any other character: "Doesen't matter, they'll Lazarus Pit' them for future guest appearances"

If something like this comes into play the entire shows concept will have to get a MAJOR overhaul and I'm not sure the writers are aware of that.

    ReplyDelete
  31. she would be redundant on the shows. they already have tech experts on Flash and for Atom.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Palmer won't stay on Arrow, but I also don't think Felicity will follow him to the spin-off.

    ReplyDelete
  33. that's not true. Felicity has been on Flash a couple of times already, including in yesterday's episode and she fit in good. Cisco isn't that good of a computer guy, not like her.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yeah he generally doesn't stay on shows for a long period of time which is a shame. I thought Arrow would be different but I guess not :(

    ReplyDelete
  35. First the pits are only known to location wise and guarded by Ra's al Ghul and the league. Once Oliver stops being al-Sahim he'll have no access. Second, Mac they're the writers if you could get that I'm sure they could.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'm thinking Felicity. It would make the most sense.

    ReplyDelete
  37. it definitely will bring the Lazarus pit into play. just watch the promo for next week's episode.

    ReplyDelete
  38. right, but they have, for now, "Wells" who is light years ahead of her. stopping by to pop in and conveniently "hack" is one thing, being there more regularly is another and pointless.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Is she actually dead though? She was in the hospital. I mean, I'm assuming taking someone who's in that bad of condition and putting them on a plane for hours isn't good, but...

    ReplyDelete
  40. and yet something all powerfull existing (a Deus Ex Machina if you will) in this universe will be the death of Arrows impact.

You know...I like to fear for my characters, not be desensitized because I know that if the actors want to return they'd just have to Lazarus Pit'em (I'll keep on saying this, it's hilarious)

    ReplyDelete
  41. I usually don't watch the previews or do not pay much attention to them at least.....
    Good to know though.

    ReplyDelete
  42. That I could stomach (somewhat, like "if you're dead you're dead") but no way they could take Thea off the machines for so long

    ReplyDelete
  43. Felicity won't become a Flash regular, that's for sure. I also don't think she will be on the new show, at least not as a regular, but not because she's pointless. Felicity is an Arrow regular and always will be mainly an Arrow character, I'm sure.

    ReplyDelete
  44. she is dead. but she won't stay dead.

    ReplyDelete
  45. That'll never happen.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Very proud of spoilertv community for having correct predictions! (only 5 hrs and I can finally watch)

    ReplyDelete
  47. well, a man can hope, right? maybe at least a horrible accident that makes her look like a better actress?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Firestorm character...if we're getting technical here

    ReplyDelete
  49. That is the moment when you can complain, when they make more exceptions, not just yet.

    ReplyDelete
  50. didn't mean as a series regular just more frequently.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I'm talking about the shows, not the comics.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Sigh, let's wait and see then. I'll write my "Told you so speech"

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yeah, I'm sure she probably bites it soon after getting disconnected, just trying to figure out alternatives, I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  54. They have the chance that a future death will bring Oliver to decide it is better to stay dead.... Character development.

    ReplyDelete
  55. maybe they make it like there's just a short time window to resurrect someone, so no one gets stupid ideas about other characters. and maybe blow up the lazarus pit when Oliver leaves the league?

    ReplyDelete
  56. And I'll write my "That's bullshit speech."

    ReplyDelete
  57. There is. If someone's dead for too long they're Zombies. Problem is there's probably more than one. People are always going to have stupid ideas about characters.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Damn, it....Jeeves! Fetch my dueling pistols....Graydon and I have to settle some score :P

    ReplyDelete
  59. right, but its not like its easy to access/ an everyday thing. Oliver is having to sell himself/give up to get at it. So i think while yes, its a shit loophole in an attempt t make Thea more "interesting", I don't think it will long run have an effect on the life/death of things.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I accept your challenge. Let's do this Mac. Now where is Higgins? :D

    ReplyDelete
  61. So who's going to throw the gauntlet?

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'll do it. With my white duelling glove.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Let me know when you see it :D

    ReplyDelete
  64. fancy, I only got a pink one

    ReplyDelete
  65. I am just trying to be optimistic.... But it's fine by me, if you do so..

    ReplyDelete
  66. Damn dude you gotta upgrade. This is honour. It demands the best.

    ReplyDelete
  67. It's crafted out of finest leather (made out of canceled shows), sadly got a few holes in it so the bear has to catch BatB so I can fill them

    ReplyDelete
  68. You know I could easily see Felicity switch between either show, she fits more to the Flashs and ATOMS characters (I know, shippers will disagree but honestly I felt like she complemented Barry/Ray more than Oliver)

    ReplyDelete
  69. Who are the two people who voted awful? Reveal yourselves!

    ReplyDelete
  70. I think that's Felicity. Like she does on Flash, she will be in 3 episodes of Flash and 3 of the spin off...

She'll pop up now and then... not all the time...

    ReplyDelete
  71. I disagree (not because I like her and Oliver more) but because Arrow needs a hacker and that voice of a lighter moral that Felicity provides. Plus she is a welcome light in the dark.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Now that we have the first Star Labs unrelated meta with the introduction of Deadbolt can they please give Laurel the canary cry. It's not like the power will immediately make her an unstoppable superhero but i feel like it will be another step in the right direction and another step in her character evolution. Considering we have already seen her struggles with her fighting style it would be interesting to see her struggle with a meta power.
To me BC deserves the canary cry and I really hope we get to see it on the show.

    ReplyDelete
  73. So the Asian promo strikes was again. What a turn off that they spoiled one of the best part once more e.e I was hoping for them not to do it but damn Asia has no chill. But then BOOM! Now Roy can joing the spin off series with all the superheroes.
This was an excellent episode. AWESOME!
One thing why all women forget to take their shoes off while running. That will be faster woman! I was also hoping that something bad happen to Felicity but what came at the end was worth everything.
The flashback leading us to the HIVE storyline are great. We see little by little in each episode.
Noe lets see how the water from The Lazarus Pit changes Thea.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Yeah Ray....I still hate him, but he was tolerable this episode. He didn't bother me. Same for Laurel. For the same reason as yours. Ehh, this time anyway. The episode was great. I soooooo needed this episode after last night's. Thank you Arrow!

    ReplyDelete
  75. I still hate him too but I didn't hate him as much as I usually do lol. was it so hard to make him interact with people who aren't Felicity in the past 18 episodes?!! They made him tolerable.
I needed that too after that horrible incedent last night (the episode that shall not be mentioned)
Thank you so much Arrow. Can't even imagine how crazy those coming 4 episodes will be.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I seriously zone out during the flashbacks. I think there was something about a cure. I have no idea I only remember what you said too.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Yeah, we all knew Lazaruz Pits were going to show up someday, and there is no really no point in killing Thea if there isn't a bargain to be made.

Killing Thea off would have been pointless, a rehash of last season, and a total fridging, so I'm glad it is not a permanent death. Resurrection is only cheap if the death was worthy, and this one so wasn't.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Deathbolt was the best bad guy performance on Flash or Arrow both. I wish he'd gotten more time. Because he was awesome in the like 5 lines he had. I still think they are having a pacing problem--everything was so jumpy. But I loved all the team-up stuff. All the OOC writing this season finally served a purpose, I kinda believed that they'd just let Roy die in prison. Other than that it was kinda predictable, but at least the team worked together well. Diggle got some time and since he and Oliver were both stuck behind I didn't mind so much.

I don't get the hate on Ray. He has a great vibe, a Chuck-like delivery, adds to the team, and he listens to Oliver. Seems like a useful addition to me.

    ReplyDelete
  79. She's getting one. Arrow doesn't need superpowers. Oliver doesn't have superpowers.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Everything you said. :)

    ReplyDelete
  81. Lance was trying to save Roy who he felt had fallen under Oliver's "thrall" and was sacrificing himself for someone who didn't even care enough to protect him from taking the fall.

    ReplyDelete
  82. YOU CAN GO STRAIGHT TO HELL ARROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  83. This is just my interpretation, but if Lance really wanted to save Roy then he should've made sure that Roy would be placed in solitary instead of the general prison population. Lance knew Roy would have a target on his back, especially since some of the inmates were put in prison by the Arrow. Lance wanted to put the screws to Oliver and he used Roy to do it. Oliver did care about Roy being in prison so much so that he was determined to break Roy out. Thankfully, John and Felicity beat him to the punch.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I thought it was great. I totally cracked up when Oliver said, "There's a decent chance that you and Palmer are related," then gets this look like "Oops, I said that too loud" when she give him and look. LOL! I do wish, however, that Felicity and Ray would have broken up because if it is real next week, I don't want her to be a cheater. I don't want anything to ruin that movement for me.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I detest Captain Lance. He's outlived any usefulness on this show. The end.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Oh, and probably stupid question, but why did Diggle his head when Oliver looked at him after Felicity answered his question about her anxiety when he's out in the field?

    ReplyDelete
  87. I actually love the flashbacks (not as much as I did last season though). But this episode, I was so into the present, every time there was one, I just zoned. I wasn't paying attention at all. It's like I didn't even know it was happening til about 5 seconds before the flashbacks were over. Honestly.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I still found myself squirming at his face like half way through. With his stupid grin, and his retracting of the ILY, and the enthusiasm. Ugh. I hate him. Lol However, the rest of the episode he didn't bother me. I think b/c Oliver was so annoyed by him, that I was entertained, by Oliver, and it leveled out. There was a balance. I also didn't mind when he went to "save Felicity" I didn't squirm at that part. Nor did i Squirm when he was staring at Oliver and Felicity from a distance. Actually in that moment I was thinking, "Damn, I was Only 50% right. Ray WAS looking at Oliver and Felicity while they were having a moment. But it wasn't episode 20 at the Jet scene." LOL

    ReplyDelete
  89. I so agree. If it's real. Well in all honesty, I'm more concentrated on the build up. I NEED the talk. I've been dying for the talk, from her side mostly, all season. I can't have this moment like this w/o her expressing something. I need to know what is said, before anything. That's been a big issue for me, with them this season. And when she comes out (or they) have little heart to heart talks, I feel better...just a tad. But if this is gonna happen, then I need her to SPEAK UP! She tells him everything he needs to hear, except the one thing he really needs to hear!! It'S frustrating!

And yes, I too am also yearning for the break up, for all the things you just said. Ohhhh, did you see the video I posted Yesterday?? = D

    ReplyDelete
  90. Mad of course. Mad about Thea. Happy about Roy.

    ReplyDelete
  91. I was soooo upset that Oliver didn't hug Roy! I wanted that so badly!! I was screaming, WHERE'S THE LOVE??? HUG HIM! Then he put out his hand and I got really disappointed. But you know what helped? Oliver really looked like he wanted to cry. He even continued standing there looking down at the road. So I enjoyed that immensely.

    ReplyDelete
  92. As I said in my comment for Supernatural's episode:

"The Flash was mediocre last night but it was breathtaking to get AMAZING episodes of Arrow and Supernatural tonight."

Arrow was such a phenomenal episode tonight. This season's slow burn is paying off and I'm glad I've been patient and haven't resorted to just unnecessary complaining. This episode was brilliant and unlike The Flash last night, Atom wasn't written in a way to make Ollie look weak. The two really played off very well in helping one another.

Colton was superb in tonight's episode and I really hope we see Arsenal again down the line, but I'm wondering if another reason they did this is to make Thea Red Arrow and not Speedy. And speaking of Thea....holy crap, did not even think it was going to be her to be used in the Lazarus Pit next week!

    ReplyDelete
  93. "- Lances motivation makes him appear very irrational"

My biggest concern ever since he went after The Arrow, but this episode just completely turned him into a villain in my mind, so that irrational mindset now works. It's funny how when a villain acts irrational, it actually seems sinister. Lance has definitely gone down a dark path and I wonder if he will truly become a villain?

    ReplyDelete
  94. This was an awesome episode. I loved every bit of it.

    Positives
-Roy Harper. The best in CH's career. All of his scenes were very engaging.
-New ship. OliRay. How funny and cool was that team up. All Ray Palmer needed was Oliver Queen's broodiness to counter his goofiness
-Ra's skewers Thea. Wow. Even though I was expecting that it was a shock to see the brutality.
-Lance being a douce bag. Paul is so good at this. I wanted to punch him at least 3 times today. So he is doing it right
-Team Arrow pulls one on Oliver to save him. How amazing was that?
-Ray/Felicity relationship is disintegrating. Poor Ray. My heart broke for him.
-Meta human is not particle accelerator meta human?? Spin off bread crumb?

    Negatives
-Felicity going to the power grid alone. Why was Diggle not accompanying her? Because he had to fold his yummy arms and stare at the beautiful face of Ray Palmer? Diggle should have gone with her and got sidelined somehow. It annoyed me.
-Laurel did not get to say good bye to Roy. Why do they do this if we they want us to think of her as a part of the team? Ray Palmer was there but not Laurel???
    -Once again flashbacks seems pointless.

    Some funny quotes
-Stop calling it a team up Ray
-You and Ray Palmer could be related
-Do you worry about me this much when I go out. Diggle shakes his head NO. LMAO.

A little bit of fun with all the gloominess made this episode awesome. Loved it from start of finish. Just read Colton is leaving the show as a regular. I just got invested in Roy. At least he is out there kicking some ass somewhere. Its better than dying.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Great episode over all.
Captain Lance was dumb, annoying and stupid to the max. The police didn't even try to go after the meta human lol.

The Atom needs to step it up way much if he wants to really save ppl. As of right now he sucks so much his girlfriend has to keep on worrying about him. Which she didn't as much for Arrow as indicated by Diggle.
    - Ray made a Suit to protect himself also, looks like it has all the best science and materials to protect from severe harm, so Felicity should have to worry about him getting hit here and there, and Ray shouldn't have to say Owe owe.

And Roy had a good plan, tho if that plan wasn't going to be the case. Oliver should of done the same with his connections. But again not needed.

The Comic relief was good in this episode. I like that one bit when Oliver was like Ray and Felicity could be related.

Damn the end now both siblings been stabbed by Ra's

    ReplyDelete
  96. Diggle was telling Oliver subtly she does not get this anxious over Oliver LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Agreed! It's a shared blame, but this whole storyline affects Quentin so much more than it does Laurel because they've just reversed all the growth and development he went through back to S1. It almost feels like starting over with his character and that can become a drag if they don't make him see reason soon.

    ReplyDelete
  98. If there is people with powers in that world its illogical if they don't show up. Doesn't matter of Oliver doesn't have any. Adapt and advance.

If they stopped having meta on Arrow it would be like the Meta are Alien and Arrow is Earth, ppl watching Arrow would be the Humans, and the Humans will go where da F- are the Aliens? They must be out there somewhere, we can't be alone....

    ReplyDelete
  99. What happened ivan?

    ReplyDelete
  100. What Ray needed was Oliver's broodiness to offset his eager puppy routine. Its a shame they took this long for both of them to spend quality time together.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Ugh, yesss! Everything you said. EVERYTHING. lol. I've always thought that a show doesn't need to kill a character off in order to get him or her off the show - if well written, they can make sure the character exit is still as emotional for everyone remaining behind and for the audience as if he/she died And Arrow has totally proved me right! I was in tears during that good-bye scene. TEARS! And I love that they didn't totally close the door on Roy's character so that if it's convenient for both actor and showrunners, we may yet see Colton guest star in a episode or two at some point in the future - Season 4 or 5 or beyond.

Also, THE FERN!! I let out this shocked gasp when it was knocked over and my sister, who was passing by the living room at that point, stopped was like "What happened??!"
Me: THEY JUST BROKE THE FERN!!
    Sister: It's a plant......
Me: IT'S NOT JUST A PLANT! IT'S NEVER BEEN *JUST* A PLANT!
    She side-eyed me pretty hard.

Re: the flashbacks - I feel like they are so completely pointless this season. I hope they reveal something important in them before the end of the season because otherwise they seem so disconnected from what's happening in present-day aside from, as you said, just repeating the same dialogue...

  102. Did anyone else feel that goodbye was not as heart breaking of a good bye. And who was the female character who cried a lot according to Colton? I didn't see Felicity or Thea crying hard apart from few tears. Or was that Emily because she is going to miss Colton? I can see actors feeling sad for Colton's departure.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Yep! I feel like if they had had Ray interact with more people from the beginning, and not just Felicity, a lot of people wouldn't be hating him as much as they are. I was personally very indifferent to him up until an episode or so ago when he was finally talking to someone other than Felicity and was finally - FINALLY! - showing other sides to his character.

    ReplyDelete
  104. I really liked him from the beginning. What I hated was episode 7 and the rushed Ray/Felicity kiss in that episode. They could have done so much better with Ray and that relationship. We should feel sorry for Ray and Felicity once they break up. I wanted to feel that. Instead I am just relieved both the characters will be free of that bind sooner. Ray could have done so much better with some interaction with Diggle, Lance or even Laurel.

  105. Jeeze girl, I guess if I'm gona post on Arrow threads I need to get here before ya.... You didn't leave a lot of scraps... nice post. One of the high points for me was Oli using Ray as a "meat puppet,,,,that was too cool. Lance can take the long walk off the short peir, what an a$$hat this episode...
They got me with Roy..... I thought the boy was done for sure... nice one. The gang was just the right amount of sad as he moved on to the next series.... his arc came full circle and his story told....later Roy..... was that "nelly bell" he left town in?
Ray's gona have a short career in bad guy bashing, if he doesn't man-up a few notches.....
Goody, my Felicity has rounded the turn, switched leads, and is galloping the home stretch to the Oli finish line.... woo hoo.... She really came close to saying how she feels, but there was no doubt Ray gets it as he watched her take Oli's arm... :))) Diggle and Oli's face to face was intense......
Pretty much the polar opposite of last night's offering.... I hope they keep this pace to finish the season.....

    ReplyDelete
  106. Deathbolt will appear in 1x22 of The Flash, just to give you something to look forward to.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Yes..... I wanted Oliver to say just that when Lance was guilting him about Roy..... It's like Lance was setting him up for the shiv ....

    ReplyDelete
  108. Oh. I feel for him. I will miss Roy too.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Oh That's good. I really liked the guy.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I started out liking him, even feeling excited that they were including someone that could genuinely feel like a good relationship option for Felicity aside from Oliver (I mean, I ship Olicity, but I'm not above enjoying seeing them with other people if the chemistry and pacing of the relationship feels right), but the downfall for me was episode 7 as well. Not only did it feel rushed, but I also felt like 7 episodes into the season we still didn't really know anything about him. And the lack of interaction with other people just made me indifferent towards him from there on.

I love Felicity Smoak. I live and die with that character. But loving her doesn't mean I'll love him by association and when they were only showing us one side to him, they weren't really showing us any of the supposed reasons Felicity admired him so much to the point of going out with him.

Diggle, Lance, Laurel...any interaction with them would have been awesome. Agreed. Even Roy. I feel like Roy would have been impressed with his gadgets and whatnot (see his reaction to finding out he made the ATOM suit...you know, before he got attacked by it). But nope. We got none of that. So for most of the season I was just like ehhh. Not until recent episodes did I start to think this was someone that I was willing to watch a spin-off show for, but I mean...it shouldn't have taken almost 20 episodes to get to this point. :-/ I was excited to watch The Flash with Barry Allen having appeared in only 2 or 3 episodes in Arrow S2, so I don't know how they managed to do so wrong by Ray when they had an ENTIRE season to try to get the audience engaged with his character.

    ReplyDelete
  111. A really well set up episode. Think it was really well developed on so many levels.
Lance still pisses me off, but in a "goodISH" way.
Ray vs Deathbolt was well intriguing, with nice effects and some great character development. I felt even a bit bad for Ray when he realized Fel loves Oliver.

Malcolm was slightly tolerable. I missed Laurel, would've been neat to see her meat her first Meta.

LOVED the Roy storyline! Extraordinary, emotional, heartbreaking and inspiring. The whole team, especially Oliver and Roy convinced me with their acting.
The Flashbacks got slightly interesting, will be interesting to see where they end up.
    Cisco stopping by was amazing!!!!!!!!!
I was stunned by Ra's stabbing Thea. Bold move. Still not sure what to think about the LP being used.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I enjoyed him as well. The Prison break in the upcoming flash ep should be fun.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Yeah me not that much. He was sweet but really missed a story for him. I mean Arrow is overcrowded and he as Arsenal was introduced way to early from my pov.
But I enjoyed him and his snarky lines, when he got time and space to do them.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I disliked the character till season 2. He was just there. But in season 3 maybe because he had less lines and he was fulfilling the side kick thing I slowly got attached to him. And I saw a considerable change in Oliver/Roy relationship this season. A warmth and brotherly feelings develop. His dry wit was his best acting weapon but he was not given much opportunities to explore it. I am not heart broken he left but Roy Harper had more story to tell. I really hoped next season we would get to see Cheshire.

Arrow will still be over crowded. They have just replaced Roy's position in Team Arrow with Thea's. I wonder how that will work out?

    ReplyDelete
  115. Ollie and Roy certainly had a great chemistry going on coming into season 3 and I completely agree he had much more story to tell.

Arrow will always be overcrowded and no clue how Oliver will survive between all those women. But could be funny to watch it break down.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I can't stand Lance. He's turned into an idiot. And Ray just sucks. Felicity shouldn't have to mother him. Ray is like a ten year old with a suit.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Thank You. I just finished watching the episode for the second time, and it was just as intense. Sigh. I agree with Lance. I mean wtf, Oliver JUST found out Roy is dead, Oliver's holding back tears, and this f*cker comes along and says, "I'd say i'm sorry, but we both know whose fault this is." With Thea is earshot! Then walks out the door. Man, f*ck Lance. That pissed me off.

Everyone kept saying Roy would get killed, but not me. I repeatedly said iI wasn't worried about Roy. And iI wasn't going to take that back in the least beast no matter what people were saying. I followed my gut (like always) and most of the time, my gut is always right. Nevertheless, it was still extremely emotional and very hard to watch as I've always loved Roy, Roy and Oliver, Roy joining Team Arrow. (I mean seriously he just fit in so naturally). I'm heartbroken that he's gone. But he IS alive, and he WILL be back. So i'm happy with that.

Felicity makes me mad. I want to shake her sometimes. But i love her. Ray definitely saw the connection, i didn't really notice much at first. I mean i did, see him looking from a distance and all, but iI didn't study his facial expression. Now that i've just finished watching, for a second time, he saw them, then stayed looking at Oliver as Felicity got in the car, then he stopped and thought, hesitated, and THEN made his way to the side of the car. In that moment, he made the decision to break it off. It was all over his face. But iI hope she does it. I can't take one more person telling her her feelings for Oliver. I'll scream.

In that same scene, Diggle had a look on his face too. I think the tension between him and Oliver will build, and I'm not going to enjoy that at all. I think Roy's departure makes Diggle rethink his previous decision of quitting Team Arrow. I want to be wrong about that.

This episode was a breath of fresh air compared to last night's.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I disagree. I like Lance. And he has a good story, better than Laurel, Thea or Diggle (at the moment). And it's not like he's a bad guy. He's a cop and he's doing his job. I can respect that. And I'm sure he will turn back around eventually and work with Oliver again.

    ReplyDelete
  119. 1.So Roy's death was a fake & they'll continue to keep him appearing in all the 3 shows next season.
2.Thea is definitely going to be resurrected by Lazarus Pit so this death is also a fake.
So,all of this was for what?So that Oliver could take Ra's place as Demon's Head?
The writers have lost their marbles completely seems like!
And now there will be a Time line reset at the end of the episode!

    ReplyDelete
  120. A time line reset? What makes you say that? supposedly dead characters returning isn't too uncommom in television. you can add Sara to the list as well, although she and Thea did actually die, so the deaths weren't really fake. As long as characters aren't brought back all the time, I'm fine with it.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Really liked the ep. Was ready to get fussy about the lair...and they fixed it. Loved what they did with Ray and way to put the twist on expectation. There's been talk about a Death on Arrow so they gave us one. I, at least, stopped looking for it...and then Thea! Thoroughly enjoyed Ray getting his ass handed to him...especially in the middle of being arrogant. Best line of the episode..."There's a decent chance that you and Palmer are related." And...whoa Thea...that's how you do a twist.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Hmm, I think Thea shed the most tears. Maybe it seemed like more to Colton cause he had to deal with the crying over multiple takes?

    ReplyDelete
  123. But Apart from Moira, that's exactly they've been doing.Death loses all meaning if you know, the characters will come back later one way or the other.Look at TVD!

As for the time line reset, according to all the spoilers for this past month, everyone knows about thisdevelopment.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Awesome episode, but THEY CAN'T KILL THEA!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  125. If Diggle goes away for a small time because of the friction between him and Oliver later this season imagine Oliver in the cave with three ladies. Poor guy. I feel for him.

    ReplyDelete
  126. She is getting resurrected next episode.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I could see Diggle get kidnapped by HIVE or something imagine that mess with the girls ganging up on Oliver. Should be fun.
I really hope the show comes back to it's original groove. ^_^

    ReplyDelete
  128. Yeah i saw that, but my point still stands. If you listen to what is being said in the promo it sounds like Thea (our Thea, the one that we have been watching for the past 3 seasons) might be dead, and a new Thea might come out of the Pit, which i not good.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Which will lead to the rise of the character Speedy eventually,i'm guessing.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Maybe, if she goes good, but if she changes to bad to me that character is Dead.

    ReplyDelete
  131. The way she was acting lately & with her overacting, that might turn out to be a better SL than you're thinking.

    ReplyDelete
  132. The is no "Thea" from the last 3 seasons. They've changed her personality to fit the plot so many times it is really just a joke at this point. This may or may not be another one.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I've been hoping she goes evil ALL season.

    ReplyDelete
  134. There are people with powers. They show up. But there aren't going to be any superpowered heroes on Arrow as series regulars because Oliver doesn't have powers. She's getting a mechanical choker thing. I don't see why people can't understand it is Oliver's show.

    ReplyDelete
  135. I understand its Oliver's Show, and I'm for that. But that doesn't mean they should not come across metahuman enemies.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Well, I don't. But as time travel is Flash territory I hope Arrow stays unaffected by it. Otherwise, you've got a point (you forgot about Tommy though). Still, one faked death and two resurrections aren't really a pattern to worry about. I'm completely convinced the Lazarus pit won't be used in season 4.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Same here, she needs to do something on her own from other than being Olive's little sister.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Seeing as how it will used next episode to bring back Thea & most probably Sara later to join the spin-off,i wouldn't be so sure about that.

    ReplyDelete
  139. They will. They did today. Laurel being a metahuman is different than facing metahuman enemies.

    ReplyDelete
  140. after a LONG LONG time i m gonna say this .it was awesome.
it would have been great if thea died too.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Bit confused!
But basically know they will returns and I want them to.

And tho I would like Laurel to be meta it might not happen as the writers might want to stick to their initial no power plan. We'll half anyway. It all changes once they connected universe and DC announced movies.
But I will be fine with ther new tech she is getting from Cisco.

    ReplyDelete
  142. I loved it...all the way through 🙊

    ReplyDelete
  143. Wow!! Another brilliant episode.

    ReplyDelete
  144. There won't be a time line reset. MG said that on tumblr. We still have no proof that Caity Lotz is going to play Sara. As some have predicted she could be a futuristic character. So as of now we have only one resurrection. That is Thea. But as of this episode Thea is not dead. In next episode it looks like she is on ventilator. So maybe she will just reach the brink of death.

    ReplyDelete
  145. I also think they were all speaking about off screen good byes. Because the on screen good bye was sad but at the same time hopeful too.

    ReplyDelete
  146. That would be acceptable to me.Thank god there won't be any time line reset!

    ReplyDelete
  147. Character development for Oliver - Yes. But what is the point? He is going to become a league member next episode. He will not get the chance to practice what he learned today. LOL. I hope he remembers this lesson once he shakes of the league.

Olicity - I was really pleased by Olicity this episode. Honestly I have no complaints with the way Oliver/Felicity is dealing with each other after the mid season finale. They are surprisingly very mature in their dealings. The only episode I had an issue with regarding romance this whole season was Episode 7. That episode and the crowded premiere is the reason why people hate the romance track.

How funny was the scenes at Palmer technologies?

Ray - He did very well today. I was glad they showed the potential of the character this episode. It took them 20 episodes to reach here. smh. I felt so sorry for him when he was bumbling through to take back the I love you. Poor baby.

Diggle and Oliver - I didn't get the impression Diggle was hurt because of what Oliver said. Diggle and Felicity knew he would act like this and they took a calculated risk. I think Diggle expected this reaction and he was okay with it. But I am really scared of what they are going to do with that relationship in the coming episodes. I have a feeling Oliver as Al Sahim will do something which will create problems for Lyla and baby Sara. I can't see anything else that will cause rift between the two. Or Oliver is aware of HIVE's activities and he deliberately kept it from Diggle.

I am really excited for coming episodes. I wish they had planned this season a little bit more better. It would have been extra ordinary. Just show us some good motivations for Malcolm's actions. Give Ray Palmer chance to meet other characters earlier on in the season.Instead of Lance family drama as trigger for Quentin's ire, let him be made aware that Arrow has knowledge of Malcolm who killed Sara and is protecting him. I would have understood Quentin's actions if that was the case. Once again like last season to reach at this point they took a lot of short cuts.

    ReplyDelete
  148. I don't think they would use Lazarus pit twice in one season. So my prediction is two things can happen if Caity is coming back as Sara.

    1. Sara was always alive and she was being kept by LoA. It was not Sara who died. It was a plan by Malcolm and Ra's together all this time to manipulate Oliver. If that happens I will throw something at my tv.
    2. The new character Rip Hunter who is a time traveler goes forward in time gets a futuristic character or goes back in time and get Sara (who will have to go back again to die after she finishes the job for which she was brought back)

Right now I don't know what to wish for. I love Caity Lotz and her being in this universe and not playing Sara makes me unhappy. At the same time if Sara comes back things will get completely messy.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Option number 1-I would drop the show if that happens that instant.
Option number 2-Keep watching but with no/minimal expectations here on out.
I hope they have found out another option!

    ReplyDelete
  150. That was why I liked this episode. Every scene at Palmer Technologies reminded me of pre season 3 team work. How much fun was Oliver being snarky and Diggle's face in all that. I miss that dynamic.

I do not agree with people who ask for Oliver/Diggle/Felicity only scenes and repeatedly ask for original team Arrow. Show has moved on from that. But man when these three are working together it is lot of fun and the actors play off each other really well. I hope new Team Arrow gets to that comfort level soon next season. No more unnecessary fights and tantrums please.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Honestly at this moment Caity Lotz's character coming from future as a descendant of Laurel Lance is the best option. Or she could be a bad ass robot. But I hate AI's.

    ReplyDelete
  152. I have to say the show can go really strong when it gets a bit more procedural and lets the dynamics be quicker and faster. Oliver being a so stiff was adorable to watch, like a 12 year old trying to control his 9 year old brother. The show lost a bit of itself while trying to move towards this Ra's story and I hope they can make some corrections towards the end of the season and start fresh in S04. There was a Q&A with Berlanti and Marc on Deadline and they said like S03 is the end of a Trilogy setting up a completely new platform for Arrow. I hope this will give the writers space to bring back that teamwork flare.
When I hear the term Original Team Arrow I get a nervous breakdown. Don't mention it to me. I enjoy them working together as well. They all contribute well to the action, but I think further along it could work as well if Oliver would be a bit more accepting of Laurel and Thea. But who knows where S04 will start from.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Exactly. They excel in action oriented scenes and sprinkling character moments in between these. They should work on that more. I am really excited for season 4. I hope the new team dynamic will start to click immediately and we don't have to see them struggling for long and then get to the groove. One episode of finding a rhythm is more than enough for me.

That was another thing I noticed this episode. Oliver may be because he had no choice he was way kinder to Ray Palmer than he was ever to Laurel. The speech he gave Ray was motivating. He never even try to motivate Laurel. Instead its always snark and bullying. At least with Thea he is impressed by her talents enough to think that she can be used as a weapon. I don't know if it is an acting choice by both actors but the body language and dialogue delivery shows a lack of respect between Oliver and Laurel every single time they interact. They really need to work on that if they are going to work as a team next season.

    ReplyDelete
  154. as always you are spot on. Not considering the unbalanced way this season has been handled my main issue is Merlyn. I could not understand why he would put Thea in harms way first and later do everything to protect her. I feel he is the character the most unbalanced motivation. I love JB and actually would not mind if he gets more screen time but I felt the motivations of Merlyn were so unbalanced. And yes about Quentin going nuts on Oliver - finding out Oliver is protecting Malcom would have made way more sense for him to go ballistics.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Your negatives are my negatives! Continuity issues that fortunately didn't completely ruin the episode.
BTW, congrats on all your theories! Roy being on the run, Diggle and Oliver at odds, Thea being the one who died. You were spot on on the last few weeks!

    ReplyDelete
  156. My season 3 predictions are surprisingly becoming correct. I am awesome!!! Now I want to see if my main prediction will work out for season 4. I predicted Team Arrow will be disbanded by the end of the season and next season Oliver or Diggle will regroup them and they will operate from a different city. Starling City may or may not become the place from where Ray Palmer and new team operates. If Quentin is alive and repentant then he can move around all three shows. If Leverage team can move cities 3 times Team Arrow can move their operations too. I cannot see how Arrow can resume operations in Starling City anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Team Arrow will be quite different in S04 and I don't know what to expect until I see where the characters will end up after the finale.
I don't know why they/he are/is so harsh on Laurel, I mean they probably want her to develop as a character on her own and not be Team Arrow and rise as a strong character of her own the mighty Black Canary. But again I don't like his double standards, he is overly protective of her but is treating her terrible at moments. Hopefully that will change soon.

    ReplyDelete
  158. There are going to be some major changes, for sure, I'm excited and worried. I like how things rolled in Season 2, I'm already feeling nostalgic!

    ReplyDelete
  159. The stark difference in the way he treats Laurel and Ray was so visible this episode. If Oliver becomes more accepting of Laurel her scenes with Team Arrow would flow more nicely and it wouldn't feel like she is a visitor every time she is in the lair even after one year of her being there. It's great to have no idea about how the season is going to end up. Very exciting.

    ReplyDelete
  160. This episode had that season 2 team work vibe didn't it? After a long time it was fun to see a bad guy getting beaten up. Whatever they do I hope they stop with showing us team struggling to adjust and start with a good dynamic next season.

    ReplyDelete
  161. He made a step towards her but still his attitude towards Laurel is still very debatable. I look forward to their runway scene as it seems that Oliver will leave the city in her arms. *fireworks*

Those next 4-5 weeks will be a torture and joy, especially with White Canary looming around (not cause of Laurel and her faith, just cause of the way they intend to do it, nothing seems that believable to me). But seems like the next bunch of eps will be good and I can't wait for prime time listings (today most likely) and possible spoilery pics as Arrow is still shooting till tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  162. I have a feeling the runway scene will be another one where Laurel wants to accompany Oliver and he refuses her and ask her to stay behind. I hope this time he motivates her to protect the city.

I am so nervous for the last episodes of Arrow. I need more spoilers.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I'm so sick of deaths on shows that was a breath of fresh air and the perfect way to say goodbye.
IT IS SO NOT JUST A PLANT! Tell your sister that I'm personally offended lol
There were some good ones but overall very boring and sometimes they feel like they are a separate show within the show. We don't see Oliver training or becoming emotionally closed off. If anything he's becoming more emotional so it feels out of place with the overall story. Maybe they'll make sense in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  164. I will never be not uncomfortable when I see him but he didn't make me cringe as much this episode. I think that mainly was because of TA being there and how annoyed Oliver was. Like he was getting annoyed for me so I was free to enjoy the scenes lol
We were all wrong on that scene but we were also right lol at least I got my wish and he saw the connection between Oliver and Felicity.

    ReplyDelete
  165. They feel a little meh for me sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  166. I think he was thinking "Nope don't look at me you're on your own with that one" lol

    ReplyDelete
  167. Last year was much more spoilery with the Ravisher pics etc. This year is a huge mystery and I have no clue how they are going to get out of the LoA story.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Oliver was on fire in that episode lol I loved it :D
Yeah me too. DON'T YOU DARE MAKE HER A CHEATER. That's not how I want this to happen. This isn't a redo of Lauriver! I think they will definitely break up before she goes to NP with Oliver. Ray already knows she's in love with Oliver so they planted the seeds for the break up already. Nothing makes a relationship fall apart more than the boy telling the girl that he loves her, the girls runs out of the rooms, next day the girl indirectly tells another guy that she loves him twice lol

    ReplyDelete
  169. Forget LoA. I have a feeling Nyssa is going to gather troops and help Oliver to trounce Ra's. My main concern is how is Oliver going to operate again in Starling City? As Felicity said there is no comeback as Arrow to Starling again. WTH are they going to do with Oliver?

    ReplyDelete
  170. No freaking clue. Sadly we'll have to sit, wait and watch.
I assume some reign of Terror will strike over Starling and the people will beg for Arrow to comeback.

    ReplyDelete
  171. I don't think it would be as straight forward as that. Also I don't think that issue will be resolved this season. MG said that Oliver will not wear his Arrow costume in the coming episodes. I have a feeling show down will be a fight at Nanda Parbat.

    ReplyDelete
  172. It did! The dynamics between Ray and Oliver were hilarious. So many eyerolls, lol!
I think there's more struggling to come, but at least the identity crisis will be over.
I can't wait to find out more about next season's big bad and if he's related to Felicity's father.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Possible. But that Damien dude has to appear and I assume he will start trouble in Starling. Surprised we didn't get any casting information.

    ReplyDelete
  174. I completely understand. I'm happy that Roy didn't actually die, but I'm a bit sad that he left. As for Thea, while I'm upset she died, I was expecting it.

    ReplyDelete
  175. Yes, they definitely need to have that talk, and it definitely has to be from her end. Because he's done all the talking so far this season in a few different ways.

And I think I saw it, but I forget what song it was to. Was it the girl's first fan video?

    ReplyDelete
  176. Yes he was. And I know, right? lol And I was a little perturbed that she caught herself. lol I don't know why, though, because I know she won't do anything like that while she's still with Ray.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Maybe its just me but I really love powered BC and would prefer it if the ability comes from her and not from a device.
I'm not even saying that she has to get it right now and maybe it would be better to wait until she has her fight training complete. She can be a hero with or without powers but it seems like they are consciously ignoring her metahuman potential.
If its a matter of the power being overused, then I can understand the reticence to explore the option but its not like BC uses it that much in the comics anyway. It would stand to reason that an unexperienced Laurel would overuse the power to give herself an advantage but maybe an experienced Laurel wouldn't. Maybe that can be the final stage of her becoming the BC.
Finally its not like Laurel or any other character could upstage Oliver on a show like Arrow. Not just because he is the titular character but also because all the plot revolves around him in some way. It's ridiculous to think Laurel in particular could do that considering her screen time is sometimes nonexistent.

    ReplyDelete
  178. I definitely noticed that Ray noticed the connection between Olicity, but I didn't notice where he made 'the decision'. Am I missing something?

    ReplyDelete
  179. And let's not forget the moment Ray overhears Felicity tell Oliver that he has people that love him. You can see Ray realizing that he's so far back in the friendzone that even if he had Barry's speed, he couldn't get out on time. I agree on the hug! Damn it, Ollie. Show the boy some love! But I do hope they bring Roy back for a lot of guest appearances though.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Yes, you are. Watch the scene again. You have to read his face and body language. It's very clear.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Yes. And the song was Crazy in Love.

    ReplyDelete
  182. I'm very sad Roy left. Thea definitely was not expecting that. It's funny b/c Mac and I were talking about her, about this, two hours before the episode aired. Smh (just speculation) Then it actually happened. I was not pleased.

    ReplyDelete
  183. High five? LMAO

    ReplyDelete
  184. High five-ing loser hahahahahha

    ReplyDelete
  185. It caught my eye the first viewing, but the second was plain as day.... Watch his face..... You can see him analyze, recognize, and come to acceptance in a few frames...... couple that with no ILU echo and Ray know's he's chasing a dream that's not there. They've already broke up....They just didn't exchange the words yet. :))

  186. As much as I was frustrated when she stopped herself I was also proud of her for not doing that to Ray. I was still screaming like crazy though lol
The fact that the word is so instinctual to her it literally almost rolled out of her tongue when she is talking to Oliver while she bolted out of the room when Ray said it, made me so happy lol
Also she kinda said it in the last scene ;)

  187. All the corn-ball stuff was the writers gift to prove Ray was never a serious contender for Felicity's long term affection..... I'll never say I liked Ray this episode, but he was less obnoxious. He's a rich kid with a brain.... Oliver's quip about them being related was accurate at one level, but Ray doesn't have the depth of character Felicity has.

  188. I wouldn't say like, just wasn't as insufferable as usual. I NEVER saw him as a threat. I often joke about how many Olicity feels I've been getting since this "relationship" started but it's actually true; their relationship has always been about Oliver. He was less obnoxious because Oliver's seriousness and annoyance balanced the scales. Every "funny" guy needs a straight man for his jokes to be funny.
People always say that he's the male version of Felicity but I don't see it. He can babble and be awkward sometimes and he's smart but that's it.

  189. So true. (My mind was racing so fast after the episode; can't believe I left Ray's heartbreak out. ) LOVE the way you phrase that. It's not his fault, poor guy, he just has spectacularly bad timing. Three years earlier, no Oliver in the picture, Felicity and him would have had their happily ever after. But once you catch the Ollie bug, you have the Ollie bug forever, it seems. At least in Felicity's case. (Not that I blame her; Oliver/Stephen is the dream man.) Of course, now I actually find Ray endearing rather than annoying he's going to be leaving. Ah, well. As long as my OTP is happy and pushing forward. :D
