Arrow/Flash: Seriously, Brandon saying that Barry still have feelings for Felicity made it seem like he never watched The Flash.

The Flash - Barry has feelings for Felicity??? WTF?? The correct sentence should be Barry has feelings for Oliver and if he is not liking Ray its because of that.

ReplyDeleteBut Barry does still have feelings for Felicity. How strong they are isn't the question, though. Because I don't think Barry's feelings for Felicity aren't as strong to how he feels about Iris.

ReplyDeleteI think they pretty much established that Barry's and Felicity's for each other are strictly platonic in episode 4 of The Flash, when they acknowledged that they are "perfectly perfect" for each other but are in love with other people (Iris and Oliver respectively). Brandon's statement is out of nowhere.
ReplyDeleteA conversation between the two that still ended in a kiss, no matter how romantic or platonic the kiss was meant to be. Barry will always care about Felicity, and those are still feelings. Even in this episode, Barry does mention that he doesn't think Ray is good for her.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying that there're no feelings between them, only that the feelings are platonic. If Barry says Ray is not good for Felicity it won't mean that he thinks he's better or that himself should be with her, he's being protective, being a friend.... why he never said anything similar to Oliver or about Oliver? He never lacked of opportunity since Oliver hinted at Felicity when he was talking about getting the girl to Barry at Jitters in the crossover and him and Felicity openly talked about her having feelings for Oliver in many occasions.
ReplyDeleteEven the producers, after 1x04, said that the episode offered closure to Barry and Felicity as romantic interests.
So you get my point then. What Brandon is saying still has truth to it; Barry has feelings for Felicity, plan and simple. Brandon isn't really speaking of romantic feelings either.
ReplyDeleteHe's implying that Barry doesn't like him because he have romantic feelings for Felicity, so I don't think he meant platonic feelings. His second affirmation was the correct one, where he says Barry was worried about Wells and was dealing with trust issues. That made sense.

ReplyDeletePhew! I thought I was the only one who thought that guy look like Daniel in that Teen Wolf promo. I had to pause it and look very closely to actually make sure it wasn't him. But I'm glad I wasn't alone in mistaking that guy for him.

ReplyDeleteI'm gonna be very frank, in two years I have NEVER wondered what the significance of Robin Hood's lion tattoo is, never even gave it any thought. It surprises me the little things people care about and that certain questions are actually picked up and answered, even taken to the actors themselves. There's probably lots of better questions people ask that aren't tackled. I stopped asking myself cos mine never were and I cba. Sorry, I'm kinda grumpy today (pun somewhat intended). :P
