  1. So happy for iZombie!!!!!!

  2. And people we're saying that izombie would crash and burn!

    ReplyDelete
  3. I think iZombie passed the test... :-) 0.7 is quite good.

    ReplyDelete
  4. IZombie for the fall schedule !

    ReplyDelete
  5. Sad that POI didn't adjust up. iZombie did really well given the lack of a Flash lead-in.

    ReplyDelete
  6. iZombie renewal imminent

    ReplyDelete
  7. iZombie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 and it beat weird loners! Can we call it a hit yet? (by CW standards anyway?)

    ReplyDelete
  8. HELL YES!!!! iZombie, you are awesome! Holding onto that .7 with no lead-in and contending with The Voice? And it beat the new FOX show, which, damn. I love when a new show I love does well.

AoS and FoTB both bumped up a little, which makes me happy. Good ratings, Tuesday. Good ratings.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Add my voice to the chorus of people who are pleased by the ratings performance of iZombie.

    ReplyDelete
  10. AOS adjusted up from last week and Izombie stayed at 0.7 without flash's help ... that's a good week in my book :)

    ReplyDelete
  11. Impressive for iZombie!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Great for IZombie!!!! Really impressive

    ReplyDelete
  13. Impressed by iZombies performance but the way Forever and POI did last night just hurt

Forever really wasn't blessed with a good lead in

    ReplyDelete
  14. OMG :D tbh the happiness atm <3 iZombie <3

    ReplyDelete
  15. I think The CW should air iZombie in the fall with The Flash and then when the season is over (13 episodes) air the new DC spin off.

    ReplyDelete
  16. If forever was any good it wouldn't need to be "blessed" with a good lead-in. It's not AoS fault that forever loses 40% of its 18-49 demo and skews old.

    ReplyDelete
  17. iZombie will get a season 2.

    ReplyDelete
  18. CW has made it pretty clear they don't want to double nights of DC. My guess, iZombie goes to Thursday at 8pm from October til late January. New DC show takes its place in mid-Feb to May

    ReplyDelete
  19. You ever caught Forever? Dude, there're shows that fail to create character connections (because really, the only AoS character I care about is Ward, everyone else can go ahead and die at this point...well...except Hunter, Mockingbird, Mack and Coulson, they're cool. The rest is bland)

Forever actually has charm and a pretty well written arc. Now, take AoS wich is thematically far removed from Forever and even sh*ts on its own mythology.

AoS can't even stand on its own legs and yet feels confident enough to explore parts of the MCU on its own instead of going to safe route and exploring already established parts of the MCU. Adding the Inhumans in AoS was a big mistake (turning the special snowflake even more special and cutting all focus away from other characters)

With this ratings Izombie could move to Monday and become a great lead in to JTV, maybe both can grow from the movie since they are incredibly compatible.

I'm glad AOS and FOTB are up from Last week. I wish they could keep going up week after week until the finale.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Do you think a 22 episodes order for IZombie is possible? It's a procedural/fantasy drama so IMO it's possible.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Depends on what they consider double, iZombie doesen't take place within the Arrow/Flash universe so it wouldn't be a crossoveruniverse overkill

But at some point they won't be able NOT to have double nights. Flash, Arrow, spin-off, iZombie (plus TVD/TO has become part of DC as well with the comic book release)

    ReplyDelete
  23. and move TO to thursday, wich would be fine in my book. Mondays are terrible for the show

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think it premiered too late to be given a 22-episode order.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yeah, honestly Skye the inhuman has downgraded the show from Must-watch sometime this week, to marathon whenever I have nothing to do TV. AoS really failed to make well-rounded characters I liked in season 1 and then introduced more characters in season 2. HYDRA is cool and all, but it/skye are too much at the forefront. It's all agents evading HYDRA and less agents being agents and stopping any threat other than HYDRA.

    ReplyDelete
  26. It can premiere in late October like The 100

    ReplyDelete
  27. I thought you meant for its first season.
It can, for its second season, be given a 22-episode order if ratings follow.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Sorry I didn't mention it ^^

    ReplyDelete
  29. No worries. I'm kinda tired... :-p

    ReplyDelete
  30. You know, I enjoyed Skyes sorta bitchy personality in season 1, she was fun and offered a great anti-pole to the stuck-up characters. However, whenever you turn a character into a superhero certain personality aspects don't work anymore, you wouldn't want an overpowered whiny-snark-bag like we have now.

I keep hoping for them to catch themselves, (11 episodes focusing on the remnants of Ultrons army after Avengers 2, 11 episodes having them deal with the Civil War, 11 episodes featuring a Dr. Strange scenario that puts them against magical-foes and so on and so on. Don't have them explore unknown parts of the MCU on their own, expand upon what we know with this show. Leave the introducing of new aspects to the movie verse wich. unlike this show, got its sh*t together)

I can't even bring myself to watch the show in bigger chunks now, it's almost as if I'm forcing myself through AoS episodes

    ReplyDelete
  31. iZombie is based on a Vertigo comic, Vertigo is DC's "mature audiences" brand. So in a roundabout way Tuesdays are already double DC night.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Shocked that NCIS didn't get any gain in demo in final numbers.....I bet this is a series low for them. Does anybody know if this is the case?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Greice Moreira8 April 2015 at 22:11

Yeah, this way both Monday and Thursday would be stronger. And Flash lead in can launch another successful show considering how well ir worked out for Izombie. And Reing could go to Friday. Who knows, maybe it can even improve in there like HOD did this year.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I hope The CW changes it's name to "The DC" or "DC network" cause they Already have 2 DC shows and one Vertigo (a DC imprint) how

    ReplyDelete
  35. I could see that, makes sense.
It's doing fine and could/should be paired up with SPN given their similar genres

    mon
    JtV
    Reign

    tue
    Flash
    Arrow

    wed
    izombie
    SPN

    thur
    TVD
    TO

    fri
    BatB
    100

    ReplyDelete
  36. I would have expected a higher number for POI since it's focused on Finch, Root and Samaritan. Another series low is not good. Hopefully the return of Carter next week will give it a big boost as renewal is still pending.

    ReplyDelete
  37. wow, i came in here hoping for iZombie not to get 0.5 after all the pre-emption talk and i came here seeing it stayed at 0.7. Amazing , just amazing

    ReplyDelete
  38. Well, the one hope I'd have that they'd actually create some genre chunks. Put the similar genres together instead of spreading them out over a week, creates some viewer confusion.

Personally I enjoyed the JtV episodes I've seen so far but I really have no interest to watch a lighthearted show after TO. So I'd rather have JtV paired up with something more lighthearted to make a solid block

    ReplyDelete
  39. I know! the show seems to have found it's audience! that's great!

    ReplyDelete
  40. followed by another DC show coming next season and probably more DC material in the future

    ReplyDelete
  41. I was really fearing for the shows sake when I heard about the midseason premiere but this just blows me away (in a positive way).

Goes to prove that Rob Thomas rocks

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yay iZombie!!! Glad AoS did better than last week. Ouch PoI and Forever. Tuesdays continues to be hard for me.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Greice Moreira8 April 2015 at 22:17

That is why I think it could get paired with Izombie because both shows have this absurd element with a very charismatic female lead. Both have this mix of fantasy and realistic emotions.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'd love to see

    Monday:
    8pm: Supernatural
    9pm: The Originals/ Cheerleader Death Squad (13ep)

    Tuesday:
    8pm: The Flash
    9pm: Dead People (13) / Flash spin off (13)

    Wednesday:
    8pm: Arrow
    8pm: Cordon (13ep)/The 100 (13ep)

    Thursday:
8pm: The Vampire Diaries (13ep final season)/ The Originals
    9pm: IZombie

    Friday:
    8pm: Jane The Virgin
    9pm: Reign

*Beauty and the Beast, The Messengers (if +0.4 ratings) for summer

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yes it is, but it was still the top-rated drama. Looking at the final viewing numbers, both NCIS original flavor and NOLA had about the same number of increase in the total viewers, but NOLA adjusted up a tenth in the demo. That's one I don't quite get.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Chicago Fire was so close to being the top demo scripted show of the night. It would have been nice to see because the Chicago Med pilot really deserved it. It was very well done.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Lol, I keep refreshing in hope I get to see a post saying

"iZombie - Renewed for 2nd Season"

I think I should stop because nothing is going to happen, not tonight anyway...

    ReplyDelete
  48. That's outstanding for iZombie! No Flash and against The Voice and it holds? Pretty impressive. It'll be sticking around

    ReplyDelete
  49. From what I've heard, it's the demo numbers the advertisers care about....not the viewer numbers really. Oh, well.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Flash and Arrow together? That is not going to happen

    ReplyDelete
  51. It should come up soon; the show stood on its own without Flash and against The Voice, that's damn impressive!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I think theCW will be rather withholding with renewal news, not because iZombie won't be renewed but because they just overdid it with their renewal madness this january.

They renewed way too many shows to handle

    ReplyDelete
  53. Me too. They haven't even released a press note saying that it beat out Weird Loners in the half hour.... Or praising that it stayed steady with it's past two airings despite airing out of a repeat.

Their silence leads me to believe we won't be hearing anything soon.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Oh! I forgot that CW is developing 'Vixen' animated Series, which is also DC. The CW might actually consider the name change if they also got Constantine and Gotham + the upcoming Supergirl XD

    ReplyDelete
  55. This is downright impressive for iZombie to actually keep the same ratings from last week out of a flash repeat and with bigger competition also. This show is now a shoo-in for renewal

    ReplyDelete
  56. sounds even better but TVD having only 13 episodes is something I'm not sure about

    ReplyDelete
  57. weeeelll Vixen is for CWSeed so it's not directly on theCW ^^

But yeah, they should have totally saved Constantine, would've worked fantastically with SPN

    ReplyDelete
  58. Oh, I know that in I'm irrelevant as a viewer. What I meant was that even with the series low, NCIS was still the top-rated show in the demo, as well as with total viewers. What I don't understand is how both NCIS original flavor and the NOLA spin-off could each add about the same number of viewers, but NOLA adjusted up a tenth and the other remained the same.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I wasn't sure so I check it and you were right. Series low with 2.1

    ReplyDelete
  60. Exactly where I'm coming from, theCW kept overflooding us with such news earlier this year for less glamurous events (what about JtV/TO delivering the best mondays in years? We now have a show beating a FOX comedy)

Knowing theCW they're probably evaluating their options now, in fact I wouldn't be too surprised if at least one renewal will be pulled back (they still can drop out of their contract until production is scheduled to begin)

    ReplyDelete
  61. Who knows? I've noticed that the demo numbers have been dropping slowly for NCIS original as the season progressed which seems to be affecting NOLA and POI. NCIS Los Angeles used to do better in the Tues. night slot before they got moved.

    ReplyDelete
  62. damn it man, poi's return was fucking awesome last night. its just not right man... nothing more i can say.

    ReplyDelete
  63. They got moved since NOLA is a new show and Mark Harmon is ExP. It's his show.

    ReplyDelete
  64. If this doesn't grant iZombie an immediate renewal I don't know what will.

Also, good on AoS for holding on to that tenth uptick even with the adjustments.

And I think that's it for Forever...

    ReplyDelete
  65. So what Mark Harmon wants, he gets, huh? Look at how that's turning out for him now.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Dammit AoS, I wanted you to get an upward adjustment.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Anything on Younger?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Not great as we can see it. Doesn't really bothers me how NOLA does, what bothers me is they destroyed rating for LA.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Add to that the pre-emption in Chicago :) It's doing really well.

    ReplyDelete
  70. That's something I hadn't thought about. With the original cast? Because I can't see Kristen Bell signing up for a full series these days, especially as she already has one. If the film had made more money, we'd probably have seen a second one made, but I'm pretty damn happy with what we got. I thought we were going to have to live with that cliffhanger forever; yay for crowd funding!

    ReplyDelete
  71. First episode back with no PoI repeat in its regular time slot the week before = below 1.5
First episode back with PoI repeat in its regular time slot the week before = 1.5 or above (Both episodes in March got 1.5)

It's happened 4 times now with 4 different breaks. The penultimate episode will be one to look out for as well. It also will come back from a break and there will be no repeat the previous week.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I zombie is really, /really/ good! Glad it's doing so well!
