American Odyssey - Drop King - Advance Preview and Teasers

The conspiracy continues to unravel on this Sunday's third episode of American Odyssey, as we see both Peter and Harrison getting closer to the truth. In Africa, things are not exactly looking too well for Sergeant Ballard.

Let's start with Odelle's part in the episode. As we saw in episode 2, she and Aslam were captured by some men from Ansar Dine. Odelle is obviously interrogated for information, but the interrogator has problems believing her story. Odelle makes every effort to convince him to believe her, but things get really dire for her and her life will once again be in grave danger.

In the US, Harrison is quickly bailed out after his arrest at the protest last week. He then heads to Bob to demand some answers about the email he supposedly had. This leads him to an article that was written by his famous father Randall Walters. Harrison subsequently asks his father for help in arranging a meeting with Colonel Glenn. That meeting will have a surprising outcome for Harrison, which might bring him closer to discovering the truth.

Also, following his arrest last week, Peter continues his investigation into Societal. Like Harrison, Peter also has some possibly significant meetings in this episode. The first one is with the widow of Danny Gentry. The second meeting involves the leading candidate for Greek Prime Minister Sophia Tsaladari, who apparently has a past connection to Peter. Will either of these meetings lead to a breakthrough for Peter? You will have to watch the episode to see.

A few other story bits from "Drop King":
-We will meet Aslam's uncle in this episode, but I can say that all is not what it seems.
-After having been absent in last week's episode, Frank Majors returns and is hot on the trail of Odelle. He even meets the boy whose father Odelle killed in episode 2.
-There is a lot of important evidence in the episode that could potentially help unravel the conspiracy. However, as with all cover-ups, the people in charge do everything to can to have that implicating evidence go away.
-In addition, people getting closer to the truth are put in harm's way, and that becomes very clear in this episode!
-Suzanne Ballard continues to believe her mother is alive and after last week's protest, she is eager to meet Harrison. Her father continues to be highly skeptical though.
-At the end of the episode there is an important revelation about one of the main characters.

"Drop King" airs this Sunday at 10/9c on NBC. Watch a promo of the episode below.
