I watched some Nickelodeon lately (why is a question that no one knows) and has anyone else thought quality has gone down? It could just be that I've grown up, but I miss Kenan and Kel :(.
I love The Originals and it's the best show on this list but I don't believe it falls into the teen zone. Everyone on the show are adults even if it did spin-off from a teenish show. If you want to get technical, The 100 would fall into this bracket because the (amazing) books are Young Adult and the show is strongly influenced by teens. Most of the other shows on the list are total crap in my opinion.
The only ones from above I watch are Reign, The Vampire Diaries and The Originals but I don't consider any of those a teen show, though they have elements of it. My favorite teen shows of all time are The O.C. and the much underrated Greek.
I agree about Once upon a time not being a teen show, but I guess I still consider The 100 a teen show, especially since most of the main protagonists are supposedly teenagers. Yes, the content is often morbid and most of their opponents are adults, but then we'd have to take Reign off the list for that reason too. And definitely the Vampire Diaries and definitely the Originals, would have to be removed too, especially since none of the characters are actually teenagers.
I miss good old teen shows like The O.C. and Friday Night Lights. I would love to see more shows like them on tv, but it seems the genre is mostly hibernating, unless there are supernatural/other odd elements included in the premise. That being said, I'd say Teen Wolf.

I'm a teen, but I just can't stand to watch these shows. I just can't. I started watching The Secret Circle and quit after 7 episodes, The 100 after only 3, but now I started again because of all the good stuff people say here about the show.
Teen Wolf, Baby Daddy (guilty pleasure that one) I would argue that The Originals doesn't belong on this particular list. I think it's the grown up spin off of Vampire Diaries.
Teen Wolf (which needs to come back pronto) PLL TVD... I think better phrasing for question would be best YA series not teen but really it's interchangeable I guess
I'm not sure whether TVD is a "teen show", but a huge number of TVD fans are teens. It's true the characters are in college; they're sophomores, and most sophs are about 20 years old. Since Elena and Caroline are vampires they won't age physically any more. But let's face it, all the actors in the show are now 25 or older. But Ian is not almost 40 years old! He turned 36 last December. EVERYBODY on the show looks a heck of a lot older than they did when TVD premiered in Setember 2009.
Reign( cause its different from what's on tv & CW),Switched at Birth but I like PLL,VD,TO too.Dont think BD should be inc,used cause none of the characters are teens, same with Tzo(exceptDavina,Kaleb/zkohl who dead now & Rebekah is)

True! But I think if lots of teens watch the show it might be considered a "teen show". Since the Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries, and we know TVD has loads of teen fans, maybe those teens watch TO also.
Teen Wolf by far, especially if we conveniently forget that season 4 ever happened. 3B was probably the best season I've seen of any teen-oriented show. It would compete with Buffy season 2 for the title for sure. I also chose Eye Candy from this list because it was far better than I expected and very entertaining up until the last 2 episodes which were just okay. I was glad to see that The 100 wasn't a choice on here because I don't see it as a teen show at all.
The Originals is my addiction but I like Teen Wolf also but not as much. I am a Derrick fan but was sad he was not a season regular. I like Vampire Diaries to have since day one

Power Rangers Dino Charge. I was pretty impressed on how the series managed to turn things around from the disappointing Super Megaforce.

Eye Candy isn't really a teen show no one on that show is teenagers. But my favorite teen show is the underdog FINDING CARTER!!
