  1. Stalker and Elementary but I also adore Madam Secretary and Extant and The Good Wife

    ReplyDelete
  2. I only watch Elementary.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Person of interest. Nothing more.
It's ironic how CBS is "the most watched network" and yet, I have only one favorite show (comedies excluded).

    ReplyDelete
  4. The Mentalist (Sorry, I have to do it ) :D

    ReplyDelete
  5. Elementary and Person of Interest

    Person of Interest, that's a no-brainer.
I used to watch Elementary too, but I have not started season 3 yet, I just don't feel the urge. Maybe I will catch up during summer, to fill the void. (Although I have other series to catch up too.)

    ReplyDelete
  7. I voted for Person of Interest and Criminal Minds.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Elementary and The Good Wife.

Almost gave up on Elementary after season 2, so glad I didn't. Season 3 is shaping up to be better than the 1st.

  9. person of interest it is and will be the best drama in my life for many good reasons

    ReplyDelete
  10. The Good Wife and Person of Interest. No doubt about that.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Person of Interest & Scorpion...I have expressed my love of POI more than enough to explain why, but Scorpion is also a great show with its balanced mix of humor, action, and emotion. The show could seem sappy at times, but it's smartly written and clever for the techniques the team uses to resolve its COTW while displaying each of the teams specific talents in their respective fields (Toby is good at profiling and spotting out body language, Sylvester is good at probabilities and solving for the amount of time they have when time is precious, etc) I will admit the action sequence in the pilot where they hook up the long wire from the plane while driving under it to the laptop seemed way too farfetched I watch the show more for the fun of it and the characters interactions - I refer to it as a mashup of The Big Bang Theory combined with 24.

  12. Person of Interest by miles. Best show on all of television. Elementary is next, again by miles.

Criminal Minds and Stalker are good value. Scorpion is becoming ridiculous and monotonous. Extant was crap, Under The Dome took a massive dive, the original NCIS is the better of the three.

  13. Person of Interest and Elementary!

    ReplyDelete
  14. This season of Elementary has been fantastic. Its worth catching up with..

    ReplyDelete
  15. I used to watch Elementary too. Gave up after the initial S3 episodes. Came back for the Kitty arc because I heard it was good (and found it to be really good). Found myself switching it off mid way through the last episode that aired recently. Don't know why but I am losing interest.

  16. Person of Interest. What else?

  17. NCISs and Scorpion.

    "but I am losing interest."
Good you are not losing interest in Person of Interest.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Since it's the only one I watch... Under The Dome.

    ReplyDelete
  20. ...The Mentalist :D I refuse to believe it's not on anymore!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Voted for NCIS(I watch all of them), & Person of Interest, but I watch all the shows EXCEPT Blue Bloods, Madam Secretary and Good Wife

    ReplyDelete
  22. I love Stalker so much. Sad it's going to be cancelled most likely.

    ReplyDelete
  23. HeHeHe!! I am shamelessly bananas for POI. :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. For me it is The Good Wife, the great standout on the usual bread and butter of CBS: not that there is anything wrong with procedurials, but TGW is the only one I can watch merely because I feel it is the only one that can create such a compelling atmosphere out of its characters and build a sense of continuity.

I've been tempted to give POI a second chance, but whenever I rmember the first 5 episodes of season 1 I just say "ugh". I've been told it gets brilliant, but I need to gather some will to get through it to get to the good part. I already had to do that with AoS, so it may take me a while to will myself to do it

    ReplyDelete
  25. I watch all tree NCIS shows, but the original is the best one.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I watch and enjoy a lot of these, but my favorites are The Good Wife and NCIS: LA.

    ReplyDelete
  27. NCIS: LA, Elementary and Scorpion (sorry couldn't pick two)

    ReplyDelete
  28. The Good Wife, without a doubt.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Actually only Person of Interest, on CBS

    ReplyDelete
  30. NCIS(all 3), Scorpion and Elementary.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Ummm... none? I don't watch anything from this network.

    ReplyDelete
  32. It always fascinates me when people have opinions that are completely different from the critical reviews of a show. For example: You say Stalker is good, and critics completely disagree. You also say Extant was bad, and critics completely disagree. It's fascinating how different people view entertainment!

    ReplyDelete
  33. The Good Wife. Not Under the Dome. That one started out good then went bad.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I like a LOT of these shows and having to choose my two favourites was both easy and difficult.

#1 was PERSON OF INTEREST (no brainer IMO) but I had to think a bit about which was #2.

While I really like many of them and like several more (really only three I don't like or am on the fence about) I couldn't go past STALKER which is just so damn awesome and it's a travesty it hasn't been picked up for season two yet.

  35. Gaia Di Lorenzo4 March 2015 at 16:54

    Elementary for me

    ReplyDelete
  36. POI picks up in 1.07, and then from 1.09 onwards and it's now an amazing show. Really recommend trying it out again.

    ReplyDelete
  37. For writing- The Good Wife
    For pure fun - Scorpion
For drama - Criminal Minds when if focuses on the team, not the Unsub of the week.
For comfortable and easy - NCIS

    ReplyDelete
  38. Person of Interest. Freaking brilliant series and unlike everything else on CBS, it doesn't have a procedural feeling to it as the series brings in some amazing season-long arc.

Secondly, I would also say Blue Bloods. Like I mentioned before, there are no other show on CBS that even comes close to POI, but I do love the aspect of Blue Bloods when it comes to family from episode to episode.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Then why click on a poll specifically about CBS?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Definitely POI, than The Good Wife, Extant and Elementary.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Huh, hard to pick just two....I went with Scorpion and Criminal Minds but NCIS and POI are very close behind!

    ReplyDelete
  42. 1. Hawaii Five-0
    2. Blue Bloods

Honorable mentions: Elementary, original NCIS, and Person of Interest.

I also watch the following CBS shows: The Amazing Race, Criminal Minds, Madam Secretary, NCIS: LA, and NCIS: NO.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Only two? Okay then, I've voted for Person of Interest and The Good Wife.

Honorable Mentions: Under the Dome, Madam Secretary, Scorpion, Stalker, Hawaii Five-0

    ReplyDelete
  44. Person of Interest deserves to be watched. It has nothing to do with the rest of CBS crop of shows, much like The Good Wife (And now Madam Secretary). They do have the boldest storytelling techniques I've seen and the storyline is captivating in a way that it is very hard to replicate elsewhere in the sense that they gave you endless possibilities and theories. Please watch it, it's very very worth it.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I would be incapable of watching a show like that :P But to each his own, I really have to watch everything in order or it doesn't work for me. And to me one of the best things about POI are the characters and those tend to get some of the best development on the standalone episodes actually (as well as the relationships among them).

    ReplyDelete
  46. Voted for Criminal Minds as it is the only one I watch consistently. I liked POI and Elementary but have found myself losing interest in both and now just record them and watch them when I don't have anything else on. Wish they had kept Kitty. I've never been a big fan of Joan. The whole Samaritan story line is becoming redundant although I am glad the last couple of episodes have just been the guys. Tried Scorpion but it seemed to be the same story every week. Shocked that Extant & Dome were renewed.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I absolutely respect that. :) Personally, I'm like that as well - a completionist. And it's true, I don't think there is an episode that doesn't reveal new details. When I did my summer rewatch before S4, I ended up watching them all and I loved it!

However, I read a few times about people who jumped into POI that way and loved it - because they had a hard time getting invested into the mostly procedural part.
It's better to watch the whole thing, though. :P

  48. greenlatopia1 .4 March 2015 at 19:00

the last time i've watched CBS was when NCIS was actually good ..... yup, that long !

    ReplyDelete
  49. We are in total agreement ;)

    ReplyDelete
  50. Without question it's Blue Bloods with Person of Interest 2nd.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I voted Scorpion and The Good Wife. I think TGW is quality tv, and with Scorpion I just find the show so cute even though the plots are often ridiculous, lol. I love all the characters.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Person of Interset: strong visual language; writing, staging, and editing that recall the elder Nolan's films (and reflect Jonah's own experience with them); a deep and expansive mythos; a more interesting procedural dynamic than any other procedural I've seen; and a deftly-juggled range of characters.

I'll give an honorable mention to Criminal Minds. I watched most or all of each of the first eight seasons, and enjoyed them. But I also found that the most enjoyable episodes are generally those in which the show breaks from its usual formula.

    ReplyDelete
  53. "Criminal Minds" is the only one I watch on here, so...guess that answers that :p! I would like to check out a couple of the other series in depth, though, sometime, namely "Person of Interest" and "The Good Wife".

    ReplyDelete
  54. *Gets drum and drumsticks* Ba-dum-tish! :D

    ReplyDelete
  55. The characters on "Criminal Minds" are definitely the big draw for me with that show :). I would watch this cast/these characters do whatever. And I too love Reid-he caught my attention when I first started watching, too.
As for the cases, the thing about them that interests me the most is all the issues they bring up, moral, ethical, emotional, and so on. I'm always interested in how and why these cases affect the team, and the people involved in the crimes.

    ReplyDelete
  56. But I also found that the most enjoyable episodes are generally those which break from the typical structure.
Definitely. I too like it when the show changes the way they do an episode up every now and again. Keeps things fresh.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I chose Stalker and Under the Dome. They are the only two shows I watch from this network.

    ReplyDelete
  58. My one-two punch of Criminal Minds and Stalker. Already missing Stalker dearly.

    ReplyDelete
  59. For me it is Mentalist, NCIS, NCISNOLD, Elementary. OI used to be interesting but since Carver left it's blah. It's focusing more on Root and Root/Shaw then Reese/Finch which is what the show is supposed to be about. Apparently Root is superwoman and Shaw is better then Reese.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Do you have to ask? Person of Interest of course. It is certainly one of the best current shows around & CBS' best. A long term fan of The Mentalist too which had a stellar final season. Nothing beyond this on CBS.

    ReplyDelete
  61. It applies to life in general - not just TV. For me, its my opinion that counts, not that of a critic. I want to make up my own mind.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I watch a lot of CBS dramas including NCIS LA, Criminal MInds, and Blue Bloods, But Hawaii Five-0 is my favourite by a mile!!! It's the only show I watch over and over and over! I love the cast chemistry soooo much and the character development!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Stalker, Criminal Minds and I also like Person of Interest

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hawaii Five-0, followed closely by NCIS (the original!), Criminal Minds and Person of Interest. In fact, my signature on my phone text messages reads: H50 NCIS CM POI.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Well said. I'll read critics' take on TV shows on occasion just 'cause I like hearing other people's opinions, but ultimately, I decide for myself whether or not I like a show (or band, or movie, or whatnot). If I happen to be in agreement with critics on something, cool! If not, well, then, agree to disagree :).

    ReplyDelete
  66. I don't watch as many CBS dramas as I thought. Since Scorpion is my favorite new drama period, it definitely get smy vote. My other vote was a tossup between the other ones I watch: NCIS:LA, Elementary, Criminal Minds, Extant, and Stalker. I only watch NCIS:LA sporadically and I am brand new to Criminal Minds and haven't seen any new episodes. To be honest, I think I watched the whole season of Extant but I'm not positive, so all 3 of those were out. Elementary has been really rough this season. Kitty was an excellent addition but Sherlock and Watson have pretty much sucked, bickering all the time. Now that Kitty's gone, they need to rehaul the lead characters quickly.

Stalker has been a huge surprise for me. I HATED the pilot. It was one of the worst ones I've watched all season, full of torture porn and cheap thrills. I wanted to drop it but I try to give each show 3 episodes to find its footing. I'm glad I did. Stalker took awhile to grow on me but now it's one show I look forward to each week. I'm sorry that we won't get another season but I've enjoyed this one.

    ReplyDelete
  67. PoI for sure, then currently Elementary and Stalker as a runner up. Watched CSI;LV for years until this season, and have enjoyed H50 in the past, but gave them up as I had to make room somewhere..

    ReplyDelete
  68. Agreed with @laura3341 that S3 is amazing. The Kitty arc comes together so well, and the show definitely has a renewed focus on Joan. If you like POI then you'll appreciate that Elementary doesn't return to the status quo and that the character dynamics continue to grow.

    ReplyDelete
  69. By far and away Person of Interest.

The only other show I watch on CBS is Elementary, and while that is good, it is nowhere near as good as Person of Interest.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I read hardly anything written by critics - I find a general consensus by viewers on sites like IMDb far more effective and relevant in determining whether something is worth sampling.

    ReplyDelete
  71. NCIS + spin offs, POI, UTD, Stalker, H50, CM

    ReplyDelete
  72. Rebecca Womack5 March 2015 at 05:26

NCIS:LA, Blue Bloods and Hawaii 5-0.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Person of Interest and Elementary are the only CBS shows I watch, and I love them both. I gave up on Under the Dome after S1.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Person of Interest . Did you really need to ask ?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Tomáš Petrík5 March 2015 at 08:09

OK, I might give it a chance.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Panos Nestoras5 March 2015 at 11:46

Person of Interest is by far the best CBS show. The only other CBS show that could even compete with PoI is The Good Wife.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Weird how that is even a question. Of course it's Person Of Interest. I won't even get into details about what it brings to the table. It's just the most amazing show I've ever watched. The chemistry between the characters themselves and the whole plot in general add up to a masterpiece. Everything from the soundtracks to the actors is perfect.

    ReplyDelete
  78. You should totally give Stalker a try.

    ReplyDelete
  79. POI and it's not even a question

    ReplyDelete
  80. Person of Interest clearly the only shoe that can toe to toe with POI is TGW but for me its POI. But lets all be honest from a quality of writing stand point, POI and TGW are clearly the to best written dramas cbs have. they go outside of the typical cbs mold of what they expect their shows to be.

    ReplyDelete
  81. everyoneissleeping6 March 2015 at 00:29

Oh, look who's winning :-) Person of Interest is the best.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Criminal Minds and POI

    ReplyDelete
  83. Still missing The Mentalist and Unforgettable here..

    ReplyDelete
  84. 2 options? Person of Interest and Person of Interest.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Rabia Salvatore8 March 2015 at 05:30

Gotta go with Stalker and Hawaii 5-0. Stalker surprised me and has awesome creepy music and the kick ass Maggie Q who needs more action scenes. 5-0 has just about everything you need from a show, great actors, amazing scenery, drama, action, comedy, romance, bromance and family. A few characters I could do without and the Wo-Fat story line went on WAY too long but overall one of my favourite shows out there, I hope it goes on for a long time!

The Good Wife + Person Of Interest

  87. The criminally underrated "Person of Interest". This shows IS PERFECT!

    ReplyDelete
  88. POI was GREAT since the beginning. This show is PERFECT :D

    ReplyDelete
  89. The Good Wife for sure

    ReplyDelete
  90. NCIS, the original and New Orleans
    Madam Secretary
    Criminal Minds
    The Mentalist (RIP)
And tryin' to catch up on POI so I can't really tell but what I saw so far is really cool
