    Bye Jimmy. Good riddance.

  2. Good episode. Regardless of your feelings about Jimmy, it's hard to deny that the final scene between him and Fiona was very poignant, and that's mostly due to the wonderful work by Emmy Rossum. Also loved the idea of acknowledgment and facing situations head on throughout the episode, as well as the unfinished business angle (which also played a role with Lip, who's now being tied down by family and by credit card companies).

  4. This season has been some of the best television I have ever seen and this episode was no exception.

It was great to see Jimmy again but it was really his time to go. Whether it was the final time we ever see him again is the question but he always was a bad part of Fiona's past. And to be honest, I really like Gus for her. I don't know, there's just something about him that makes him different than all the other guys Fiona has been with in the past (Jimmy, Tony, Mike, and especially Robbie). I would love to have more backstory on him because he seems like a really interesting guy to get to know. Anyway, that goodbye between Jimmy and Fiona was another emotional one. "You take care of yourself, whatever the hell your real name is".

Sammi is f***ing crazy and the war between her and Frank definitely reached an all time high in this episode. Shooting your own father in the arm?! She was going to great lengths to make sure that he appreciates her and was not quitting. I shouldn't be surprised that she did that but damn, was it shocking.

Awww, so happy that Debbie has a boyfriend who's her own age! I loved that she just admitted to liking him and that he likes her back. She definitely wasn't expecting that response :) They make such a cute couple and she deserves it. And Mickey once again, continues to break my heart every week. Seriously, that scene where he just dropped to the floor and holds Ian's army jacket had me bawling :'( Give an award to Noel Fisher already! (infact, give 'em to everyone on this show)

To me, Kev and V are like the power couple on this show so it's really tough for me to see them having space from one another although, it's understandable. But oh shit at Svetlana "moving into" their house. V is definitely not going to like that when she finds out! This will drift them apart even more :(

Overall, William H. Macy did a fantastic job directing this episode and I can't wait to see more next week.

  5. Mickey broke my heart! I hesitated to watch because I knew that she was going to tell Jimmy to go and at the start I didn't want her to (I know, I know) but Emmy Rossum and Justin Chatwin's insanely good chemistry made it a very beautiful scene. It totally changed my mind and it's good he's gone for Fiona's sake. I think I love them together because some actors just have awesome chemistry that is wonderful to watch. I hope by series end Justin Chatwin comes back in some way!

Jimmy needed to go, he was her past and staying would inhibit her to grow. It shocked me that the woman jimmy was with told Fiona that the client cancelled Dubai, so that whole thing about staying for her would have yet been ANOTHER Lie! Just despicable, and not good for our Fiona like Gus will be good for.

Sammi shooting frank was great dramedy for the show, but it's amazing what a woman her age will do to try and earn a father's (who wants nothing to do wit her) love.

It's really rough to see Ian (the character I relate to the most) go through his bipolar, I don't know if this is leading to a disaster in the last few episodes but I do know it ties closely or could have something to do with someone Emmy Rossum let slip would be returning to the show in the finale of season 5. Things should be very interesting!

  7. Poor Mickey, he was so happy to see Ian and then Ian was so out of it. He also used the word "boyfriend" making Fiona smile a little.

Either there's something up with Gus, or he's the man of the year. Seriously. He even remembers Mickey's name.

Very sad how Jimmy's character was not interesting at all during this return. The final scene with him and Fiona, anyway, was beautiful and really felt. Just my humble opinion, anyway ;)
