Thanks to Alex for the heads up on this 2nd Promo

  1. I'm getting some major "Turn, Turn, Turn' vibes from this promo and now I'm officially scared/excited for next week. My heart is already racing!

    ReplyDelete
  2. So happy they figured it out! And looks like Skye runs for her own safety.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Bobbi vs. May... dreams come true

    ReplyDelete
  4. One of the ways to avoid any fight over leadership is keep the team as small as possible

    ReplyDelete
  5. I'm glad to see Skye left Shield because of the mutiny and she wasn't safe. Who knows what "real" Shield would do to her?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Well when Coulson said he felt like he mishandled the Skye situation, that apparently was a bit of an understatement. Run Skye! it is definitely better to run and hide then be caught.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Ahh.. this looks insane! WTF bobbi! I want May to kick so much ass!! Jemma better not side with them! And I hope skye gets away..
Although I guess it doesn't help coulsons case as director that 2 of like 8 "new" shield members are moles.

    ReplyDelete
  8. That's not really Coulson's fault, though.

    ReplyDelete
  9. No not at all, but that was his feeling and it turned out to be right

    ReplyDelete
  10. Promo looks amazing!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Take those bracelet Coulson gave you off and go out of control, ppl after you? bury them.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Looks good. I'm rooting for May in that fight. LOL. Gordon must show up to help Skye.

I've never been a Mac fan, but Bobby I liked... Now I really want to see her regret her actions and for May to kick her ass into the next century!

    ReplyDelete
  14. And Needs Wards help (have n it seen last episode, so not up to date)

    ReplyDelete
  15. oh boy, oh boy, oh boy...my nerves...I can't go on any longer.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Now that is more like it!

    ReplyDelete
  17. BOBBI GO STRAIGHT TO HELL AND BURN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't believe this happening!!!!!!!!! SHIELD against SHIELD? what the hell?!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. OMG run Skye, run and WTF a SHIELD vs SHIELD fight and I've been waiting for this May vs Bobbie.

    ReplyDelete
  19. She wil, she's the cavalry.

    ReplyDelete
  20. This episode looks like we are going to be on the edge most of it. It will probably be mid season finale cool level.

May vs Bobbi, now that's something I have been waiting to see! But I have the feeling that Bobbi isn't so much into this new shield like they want us to believe. I don't know, I just have this feeling that she's going to turn against the "real shield" on the last moment.

And looks like Skye running means hello inhumans! Can't wait to see how that plays out.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Bobbi VS May is going to be epic! Skye will run away and clearly bump into Gordon and he will take her to the inhumans.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I think they might introduce Lincoln but it's a suprise so that's why they don't have his name under this episode guide. He might be the one who saves her

    ReplyDelete
  23. I don't want to have to root against Melinda May but man, the other SHIELD is so right.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Since his name isn't on the guide is more likely Gordon will show up, save her from being hunted by the other SHIELD and then take her to the inhumans base and just on the ep 16 she meets Lincoln.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Looks like it's more than just 2, when you see all the support staff supporting Mac and pointing guns at Coulson. Like you I think Jemma might be more comfortable with other Shield's view given her statements so far.
I'm hoping May kicks Bobbi's ass as well, and yeah I think Gordon is going to save Skye (though I would like to see her Quake those hunting her).

    ReplyDelete
  26. The getting overrun by Other Shield wasn't, but I can't help feeling that it's damaged the relationship between Skye and Coulson/May. Particularly as I'm concerned as to what Jemma has designed to "Fix" Skye.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Along with rising the relationship with May/Coulson if she feels abandoned by them. Like I said above I'm also concerned asto what the new gloves/guantlet will do to her. Jemma saying she's trying to "Fix" Skye makes me think it will be something negative thatresponse to Skye causing the Quakes rather than helping her manage them (thinking electo shocks when he powers activate to stop her rather than something positive)

    ReplyDelete
  28. No she's going to end up with the other Inhumans.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yeah I think it's going to be a big one alright.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It's strange the way the Other Shield talked about Skye though, they didn't come out and say she's on the Index. I wonder if Mack and Bobbi haven't told them everything about her?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Except that Hydra was active regarding the Obelisk and maybe eventually the city even without Coulson going after it. What was Other Shield doing to act against Hydra then?

    ReplyDelete
  32. And what would have happened if Coulson maybe was willing to be a good leader and actually discuss things and make educated decisions rather than what he's done?

    ReplyDelete
  33. I thought all the people pointing guns at Coulson came there from the other shield to take over the base/ get rid of Coulson. I really hope they weren't moles as well.. that would be too sad for him.
For some reason it seemed to me like Bobbi is already doubting this new shield. I could be way off but idk. I still hope May kicks her ass. Actually, I'm hoping May kicks everyone's ass..haha. Hopefully Gordon does rescue Skye, I'm very excited to learn more about the inhumans.

    ReplyDelete
  34. And how do we know he hasn't (why assume he and May haven't discussed things?) Mack has been acting as a mechanic for the entire time, why should Coulson consult/discuss things with him? Based on what the knew at the time about the Obelisk his plan to get to the city and destroy it to prevent what he had reason to believe was an extinction event made sense.

What has Other Shield done? We've seen Coulson and his team kill how many of the heads of Hydra? We've seen Other Shield inflitrate Coulson's team and nothing else even though they seem to have more resources than Coulson.

    ReplyDelete
  35. How would tose agents get in without there being fighting. To me it seemed that they were just working until Coulson confronted Mack. We've have to see I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I get the feeling we might be cheated out of the fight, maybe they are just starting when those troops enter the office. Either that or they come in afterwards.

    ReplyDelete
  37. We don't know. But I don't necessarily think that just because Nick Fury handpicked his fave idiot child to "rebuild" SHIELD that is somehow what makes a leader for a huge intelligence agency.

We don't know exactly WHAT would have happened if Coulson was a better leader and willing to think outside of his favourite six people.

    ReplyDelete
  38. That's a good point. I'm not sure. You're probably right tho. I just hope that's not the case. I guess we'll find out Tuesday.
I hope this week goes by fast because I can't wait to see what happens.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Director Coulson vs. Admiral Adama, The Cavalry vs. Mockingbird... daaaaaaaaamn!

    ReplyDelete
  40. That's exactly what I thought when I saw the promo! This one looks like another game-changer that will turn the show's structure on its head. Who knows what will even be left of Coulson's team after this episode, with Skye gone, Bobbi and Mack pulling a double-cross, and Simmons potentially being inclined to join the "real" SHIELD since their views are more in line with her own.

    ReplyDelete
  41. This is gonna be great.

    ReplyDelete
  42. You do remember the first few episodes where he was flying every commercia in order to meet with agents. You are assuming that he knew that the other senior agents were still active. Why didn't they make contact with Coulson. They knew enough to send in agents but didn't bother saying "hey we have an active base with Quinnjets, how about we join up".

We have seen nothing from Other Shield, so I don't see how you take the view that they are better.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yeah, the team becoming more and more fractured is gonna be really interesting to watch and make for some great television (ex. Bobbi vs. May and Coulson questioning Mack)! So hyped for next week.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think it's more likely that once she hands over the team to Other Shield she's going to have issues with how they handling them. Leading to her eventually siding with the team, eithr that or yeah it's a question as to why she's full time now.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yeah I think that they've already said that the team is going to end up fractured by the end of the Season. Like you I could certainly see Simmons bein more comfortable with Other Shield. If they are still active in the next season I could see Mack and her on that side, Bobbi I think might float to either side depending on how Other Shield handles the team. Skye hopefully will be back (like I've said I'd love a scene of her saving the team with the full command of her powers.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Looking at the promo again that makes since too as she says "I didn't want this"

    ReplyDelete
  47. I hope Hunter gets t warn them. This will bring some bad memoris to the team going in the run again.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I've never been so scared for a team than with them seriously every single episode I'm like "OMG this it everything is gonna blow up"(aparently it's gonna be on that episode). That show is so breathtaking it's a shamed that they don't have the ratigs that they deserves.

    ReplyDelete
  49. So true. It looks like next weeks episode is going to be EPIC.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Looks like he doesn't get there in time since the base looks like it's being overrun by surprise.

    ReplyDelete
  51. My theory is that Ultron is online already. I believe the Scarlett Witch is causing the other agents to distrust Coulson. Just like what is gonna happened with The Avengers. Just like the Winter Soldier, this is going to be what is happening. Writers already said, agents of shield will mirror with the storyline in Marvel movies.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Yeah I'm guessing the one played by like Mitchell.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I was also thinking that having the two Shields going at each other might be a way to sideline the question of where's Shield in Avengers 2 (since they've already said that they aren't going to deal with Coulson being alive)

    ReplyDelete
  54. Now that I think about it, the episode title points to that as well... they're closing the door on this chapter and opening a new one. By the end of next week's episode, I'm guessing the board will be reset with some new alliances.

    ReplyDelete
  55. It looks like we could end up with a team of just Coulson, May, Fitz and Hunter for a while, then Skye when she returns from Inhumansville. Bobbi would have to redeem herself pretty majorly, like thwarting the mutiny at the 11th hour, for them to let her stick around.

    ReplyDelete
  56. That's possible alright. For Bobbi I think her way back might be if after the team is taken by Other Shield, it gets ugly. Or maybe when Ultron kicks off Other Shield decide to sit things out while Coulson & Co. gets involved somehow. I wonder how many episodes Skye is going to be away in Inhumansville for?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Lol I believe you just figured out how Skye meets the Inhumans.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I find it hilarious that all of this could be over if Fury showed up. I can imagine the scene too. Fury walks in "What the hell? I only retired a couple of months ago and now there's a coup? Man, people be acting crazy when left on their own."The New SHIELD members' reactions would be priceless

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'm thinking Gordon shows up just right before they catch her, kinda like he did with Raina.

    ReplyDelete
  60. and Jemma, Jemma would NEVER leave the team

    ReplyDelete
  61. you think? i was thinking Bobbi WAS having second thoughts but after the episode and the promo i'm changing my mind

    ReplyDelete
  62. the cabal are nothing but COWARDS

    ReplyDelete
  63. Says who? Simmons is different than she used to be.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I am secretly hoping that Bobby is triple agent but looks unlikely. This episode looks insane but I find Bobby's betrayal off putting. I didn't really care for Mack so I don't mind him but I don't like that she is betraying everyone on the team and Coulson.

Still looking forward to this, a LOT!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Well, from the promo it looks to me that she may be having them, doesn't she says to May: I didn't want this? Maybe she has been forced to join. Who knows? They will surprise us, that's for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  66. See, what you described Coulson doing is such terrible leadership. Basically what you're saying is that Coulson wants to use extremely high tech gadgets and a lot of money and keep it for him and his friends and their group, with absolutely no oversight or anything.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I don't know about other SHIELD. but I've watched Coulson be a bad leader and their ideas were significantly better in the last episode. Coulson is an idiot and probably shouldn't even be in charge of a small team, let alone the entire organization

    ReplyDelete
  68. Why is he a bad leader? He found out Hydra was after an 084 and used his team to try and stop them, not his fault an agent was stupid enough to touch the 084 (nor his fault that they broke with the plan and drove off). he found out that they had the 084 and were planning to use it as a weapon, he deployed his team to try and prevent it. Did the plans work, no, because Hydra was trying to win as well, along with bad intel that he couldn't have known about.

Other Shield has done nothing that we've seen, no hint of ops, no Hydra missions intercepted, no Hydra heads taken out. Caring about losses or team members isn't a sign of bad leadership, and Coulson has shown that he's willing to make the calls whe he has to.

    ReplyDelete
  69. We have no way of knowing what other shield has been doing.

Coulson has always been a bad leader, putting the team in danger for no reason or simply because he wants to, not thinking things through, not making sure there are failsafes beyond "Melinda May is gr9", putting inexperienced agents undercover like Simmons, basically anything to do with the alien tech and himself. With everything going on with Coulson himself, he should NOT be leading if he can't even control himself.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Exactly, Simmons' decisions are the most unpredictable right now, it would make more sense for her to join the other team considering her views, but I don't know, I'm just not 100% sure that she'll make that decision. 70% is more accurate or perhaps that's just my wishful thinking?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Unfortunately, I have a very sad theory on that. Simmons was almost crying when she handed it to Coulson and she almost didn't give it to him because of "possible repercussions", but Coulson said it was his call to make. Apparently it uses electricity to make the tremors die down, so I figure the bigger the scale, the stronger the current, the possible repercussions could be some serious damage to Skye, possibly even death... I hope I'm wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I'd like to see how "real Shield" is going to deal with all those secrets from the cube and if they'll be able to handle it, in the end they'll have to go to Coulson for help, it'll be a big slap in the face when he manages to solve everything.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Nah, the new Shield is so anti-Fury that they might as well write it on a banner, hang it up on Stark tower and make it their flag, if anything Fury would only fuel the fire.

    ReplyDelete
  74. and we actually saw Mack's untrustworthiness unlike Bobbie even though we knew she had a secret she still seemed like she trusted Coulson

    ReplyDelete
  75. Well, I'm not saying it with 100% certainty, it's just a possibility. (Mind you, I'm not rooting for it to happen, considering that the way Simmons has been written in 2B so far has generated a lot of backlash and I'm not glad about that, as I've always liked her.)

BTW, I just remembered that Agent Weaver being part of Olmost SHIELD could also influence Simmons to sign up, since they seemed pretty close.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Of course you don't (no one does), I'm just not upset about how Simmons has been written out because I know that it's leading to something. There were a lot of things in season 1 that upset us, but everything was set in place for a reason. For now I'm neutral about Simmons and my opinion on it will depend vastly on the outcome of whatever they're planning with her. Whatever happens though, I doubt I'll dislike her as much as Ward.

And yeah, I noticed Agent Weaver right away, as soon as I saw her I put two and two together. She'll undoubtably try to convince both Fitz and Simmons to join up. I'm actually excited for their reunion, they are a completely different people from when she last saw them, her reaction to that will be intriguing. I mean they had their fallout, they both matured in different ways, their opinions diverge completely nowadays and most of the time they are either ignoring each other or getting into really tense arguments... now I'm depressing myself :(

    ReplyDelete
  77. BTW "Almost Shield" is a good name for it, I'm going to start calling it that, lol :)

    ReplyDelete
  78. I wish I could say I had come up with it - then again, the "Olmost" puns pretty much create themselves. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  79. NO!!! They wouldn't do that to us...

    ReplyDelete
  80. Alright, all bets are on, losers will be engulfed by a tsunami sized wave of shame. Who bets on Bobbi to win the fight? Who bets on May? Which side will Simmons take? Will someone from the team get captured, if so, who?
Losers have to 'like' the winners' answers! C'mon, if everything is going to hell in this episode we might as well have fun with it!

    ReplyDelete
  81. My bet:
May wins the fight against Bobbi, but Bobbi calls backup and May has to escape.
Simmons won't pick a side this episode.
Fitz and Simmons get captured. Coulson, May and Skye get away.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I am holding out that the Scarlett Witch has already messed with the minds of the other agents causing them to not to trust Coulson and start a mutiny. It is what is gonna happen in the Avengers. He causes the avengers to fight amongst each other with using the Scarlett Witch. They say Olmos is guest starring... I know it is Ultron..he is online... This is him pulling the strings. Just like when Hydra began to emerge from the Shadows..Agents of Shield followed right along before the WInter Soldier and after the Winter Soldier...

    ReplyDelete
  83. For f*cks sake is Ward even in this episode? He aint listed on the cast for this one and even the next two... And hes supposedly a "main cast".. Recurring cast appear more than him
