This thread/article is to provide a place where you can discuss all shows that are or have aired tonight that we do not have individual "What did you think of" Polls.

Some of tonight's shows that you might like to discuss are:

Mom, The Slap, Allegiance, Backstrom, American Idol, Archer, or any other show that you've watched tonight.

So sound off in the comments below about what you thought of last nights TV.

NOTE:
Please note the comments could well contain spoiler discussion for any show that has aired tonight.
Please only use this thread for shows that do not already have their own threads. You should use the show/episode specific threads for discussion on those shows.

  1. To start things off with the two Thursday shows I watched:

1)The Slap-This show is just getting better and better. And whatever similarities it had with Essie Davis' episode in the first mini are now limited to a few choice dialogue and a couple of key scenes. Uma Thurman plays a conflicted individual really well and I really felt for her because of her fears of commitment relating to her own issues with her parents when growing up.

I didn't know Penn Badgely sings on the side professionally thus I so want to buy the single he performed on the show. As for Rosie, well she said it herself, she was indeed "worse". I wish Anouk didn't have to regret saying those words of truth to that woman though.

2)Allegiance: It's only the fourth episode but it was ever level of intense all throughout the hour. While I was expecting the big reveal to occur in this installment, I seriously didn't expect the events that led to that closing scene in the diner. NBC really struck gold with this one, but it is such a shame that it's not getting the audience it deserves. With State of Affairs bombing big time and Odyssey still a tough one to call at the moment, there's still that small chance of Allegiance being the sole new show to survive at the end of the regular season.

Regardless of its fate, I so want Alex to be brainwashed and get a personality transplant in the finale. He is simply an anomaly.
